One last night of Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r]

Good afternoon everyone,

Last night's stream of Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r] was totally focused on arcade runs, as we went through the nine remaining characters, and yes it took fours to do, because I still had it set at best 2 out of 4 rounds and on normal difficulty. The biggest issue that ends up happening is how block heavy the A.I. gets as you go through the arcade ladder... then there is the fact if one lets the story segments play out at the spoken word pace, it would take even longer. Still, we saw a few things that stood out, got a few supers to pop, but I'm confident in saying Wagner has the best looking super in the game.

In terms of what's left to do in Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r] based on achievements, well there are stuff that is possible to do... but it requires basically endless running through like Score Attack and Time Trials to earn the in-game currency to unlock all the Icons, Titles and Main images... and I'm not going to put the time into that, Now I did try to see if we could do any online matches... and well, I doubt anyone is playing it in 2022, because I don't think it had much of an online following to begin with.

So what will replace Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r] on Friday nights as a PS4 title, well I think we'll be taking a look at The Quarry starting next Friday, and I figure we'll get two streams out of it.

 Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r] Trophies

  • You Princes of Maiming, You Kings of No End: Fought 10 battles using male characters. (Not unlockable in Training Mode, Tutorial Mode, or Mission Mode.)
  • Dream in All Colors: Unlocked all 30 colors for any character.

So I was expecting a delivery via UPS yesterday, and it never arrived, turned out the driver lied about attempting the delivery and I called them out on it straight away. I ended up getting a call from a Supervisor at UPS saying the driver said 'they couldn't find my house'... and I pointed out 'they have GPS', and my home is right on the corner. So now I'm expecting it today.

Internet did go down a bit before 5 PM EST, and we had some slight issues during the stream at 654 PM EST and 658 PM

Played some Fallout 76 and wrapped up the Recruitment Blues quest... and if I was doing that on stream I probably would have lost my mind with how well it replicates the DMV experience.

Fallout 76 Achievements

  • Recruitment Blues: Complete "Recruitment Blues"

Tested the back up PlayStation 2, and other than having to stand it up for it to read a disc, it works great. Also the different HDMI converted with component cables certainly made Marvel vs Capcom 2 look a lot better than I've seen it previously.

Started messing around with Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium to begin the long road of getting all the same achievement with did with the original Capcom Arcade Stadium. It's going to be a long road, but I did knock out all the easy achievements within an hour.

Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium Achievements

  • Welcome to the Stadium: Play a game.
  • First Failure: Get a Game Over screen.
  • Coin Consumer: Insert nine or more coins in one play session.
  • If I Could Turn Back Time...: Use the Rewind feature.
  • Tempo Conductor: Use the Cycle Speed (Up/Down) or Max./Min. Speed (Hold) feature.
  • Future High Score Lister: Play a game in Score Challenge or Timed Challenge mode.
  • Good Job!: In one play session, gain 10,000 CASPO while playing Score Challenge or Timed Challenge mode.
  • Great Job!: In one play session, gain 25,000 CASPO while playing Score Challenge or Timed Challenge mode.
  • Amazing Job!: In one play session, gain 50,000 CASPO while playing Score Challenge or Timed Challenge mode.
  • First Taste of Victory: Clear a game.

Mavel vs Capcom, Black and the Rage of Paladins

Good afternoon everyone,

Last night's stream lead off with Marvel vs Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes EX Edition on the original PlayStation. Part of the reason why because of Maxamillion_Dood (twitch.tv/maximilian_dood) posting a video claiming how it was a version of MvC that no one played... which is not true because I intetionally went out of my way to track it down to put together a collection of Japanese exclusive Capcom fighting games on the PlayStation. We went through the Arcade mode twice as Morrigan and Gambit, messed around with the Cross Over mode which actually saw Shadow Lady being used because the A.I. selected them. We also figure out a few things involving use of the 'Special Characters', who can act as counters and compensating for some of the main roster's limits. This game will be counted on this years tour as well.

We also played Black on the PlayStation 2, and it is still a good looking game from 2006, thankfully it has multiple difficulty settings... but I found it a bit odd with some of the control layouts, no sprinting (that I could figure out), and no reason sense of direction. Action sequences can be pretty epic from what I saw. Maybe we'll give it a dedicated attempt of finishing it at some point. Black does have one of the dumber starts up to a game I have ever seen with a start screen followed by a near 5 minute movie style intro of a black screen with text displaying who was involved with the music and live action sequences before the main menu is displayed.

Then we jumped to the Xbox One to play some Paladins, and we were joined by PandaSweet.... we did not exactly run into the smartest group of randoms, who were either disconnecting from matches, intentionally making selections of characters that did fit the need of the team. You don't see me get angry often, but Paladins was a bad way to end things last night.

For last night's raid we dropped in on TracyDoll who was playing Friday the 13th: The Game and Evil Dead: The Game over on twitch.tv/tracydoll!

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout featured Left-Right-Step Combo, Triple Combo #1, Double Combo #2 and Body Straight Combo.

With how badly Paladins went during the stream, I felt motivated to play some Smite. mostly Arena matches. More losses than wins, but at least it nothing was sabotaged by stupidity.

SMITE Achievements

  • Combo Breaker: Shut down 10 killing sprees in qualifying matches.

It's the start of a new week, which means we shall recap what we did last week which included Overwatch, Chrono Cross; The Radical Dreamers Edition, Fallout 76, Final Fantasy XIV, Persona 5 Royal, Black, Marvel vs Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes EX Edition and Paladins!

For some reason the Mariners are taking a chance on Justin Upton in a desperate attempt to add some life to their line up. What is it with teams trying to squeeze anything out of guys who are clearly at the end of their careers these days in Baseball?

Finished another commission story request yesterday afternoon and I get another one this morning, this time to be set in the Star Wars universe. This is going to involve some very loose interpretations of the lore.

Happy Birthday to the late Doreen Mulman, who ran the Ghostbusters Fan Forum 20 years ago. They were the first site to ever host artwork and fiction that I wrote, obviously related to Ghostbusters.

A Night Dedicated To The Street Fighter Alpha Anthology

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream ended up featuring every single game that was apart of the Street Fighter Alpha Anthology which was released for the PlayStation 2 back in 2006. This meant last night we played Street Fighter Alpha, Street Fighter Alpha 2, Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold, Street Fighter Alpha 3, Street Fighter Zero 3 Upper and Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix!

Now I am no stranger to Alpha. Alpha 2 and Alpha 3, in fact we played all of those games last year using the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection, and despite the different feel a PlayStation 2 controller has when playing a fighting game versus a Xbox controller really not much of a difference here. Though I will say we did do the Dynamic battle mode in all three of those games and the only one I was able to complete was Alpha 3's. I will also say this, playing Alpha 2 did saw me face Shin Akuma... it did not go well

Now I've never played Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold before, and yes its the Sega Saturn port of Alpha 2... but goodness me, the music tracts for it sound terrible in comparison to the original tracks. Near as I could 'hear', the Gold mix for Alpha 2 has a lot more tremble and a lot less bass, which makes things sounds way off. Add onto it the cowbell in Sodom's theme is rather irritating, and the butchered mess that is Sakura's theme needs to be lost to time.

The version Zero 3 Upper is the version of Alpha 3 that was for the the PlayStation 1, DreamCast and Sega Saturn, which means it has the expanded console roster, which I believe gave it the largest in game selection of characters for any Capcom fighting game up to that point only to be surpassed by Marvel vs Capcom 2. I could be wrong about that. Anyway, not much of a difference between Zero 3 Upper and Alpha 3 near as I can tell... but we did beat M.Bison as Sakura with it, making it twice I beat a version of Alpha 3's final boss with her.

Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix, aka Pocket Fighter, was a real joy to play. I have seen Maximilian_Dood (twitch.tv/Maximilian_Dood) play it, so I kind of had a good idea of the mechanics of getting the gems to power up the special moves... but even with seeing gameplay of it before, a lot of the stuff in the background caught my attention... such as Dimitri's sliding across a floor, DeeJay rocking out behind the bar, and M.Bison apparently taking Cammy shopping

All in all I had a blast with all these games last night and I was glad I grabbed a copy of  Street Fighter Alpha Anthology when I did in 2020, because it made for an awesome stream.

Now since Alpha 2 Gold, Zero 3 Upper and Super Gem Fighter were all new things (to me), I am going to count the arcade runs of those three games on this year's tour.

For the raid we dropped in on Oldish22 who was playing Elden Ring over at twitch.tv/oldish22!

Twitch Clip Links

  1. Caught Her!
  2. First time facing Shin Akuma... I was not prepared
  3. The Trade Off In Our Favor! (Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold)
  4. Defeating Bison with Sakura... AGAIN!!!!! (Street Fighter Zero 3 Upper)
  5. Mighy Combo Finish!

I have decided to remove BitBoss from the stream, as the way it keeps acting up makes it more frustrating than it should be.

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout lasted 31 minutes with Uppercut Combo #1, Body Straight Combo and Triple Combo #1 for an estimated calorie burn of 414 kcal.

Went back into Light Fairytail Episode 1 to clear out the remaining achievements, and the stealth minigame was certainly a pain in the ass, had to do it three times because I didn't realize what the score was needed to get the 'Ex-Number One' achievement on the first run (it's 105, I stopped at 95), on the second attempt I got caught at 100... so that left a third attempt. Still I take some pride in being the 470th person over on TrueAchievements to complete the game, so that's a positive!

Light Fairytale Episode 1 Achievements

  • 250+ HP damage: Did a 250+ single HP damage to an enemy.
  • High scorers club: Got a high score of 75+ in the stealth minigame.
  • Number one: Got the stealth contest's ultimate prize.
  • Ex-number one: Got an orb from the former number one.
  • All cleared!: Cleared all the achievements. Congratulations!

Iceman will not be joining us this evening, so the start of Gears of War: Ultimate Edition will be delayed, man has not had a day off in a few weeks!

So for tonight's stream we'll mess around with what ever comes to mind!

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!

I See Why So Few People Finished Jump Force's Story

Good afternoon everybody,

If you ever want to know what its like to slam your head into a brick wall, just go and play the story mode for Jump Force folks...

Now last night's stream ended up being all about Jump Force, and thankfully no game freezes or crashes on the X-Box One... there were a few rendering issues, such as Hancock's head being missing in a cut scene in Chapter 8... but the biggest problem with the story mode for Jump Force, aside from the loading times and reliance on cheap tactics towards the end... is the jobber fights.

Much like Marvel vs Capcom Infinite, Jump Force is a fun game that has some interesting mechanics... but the story mode gets bogged down to the repetitive nature of fighting the Venoms... the minions of the villains. I get it, you don't want the limited (at launch) characters constantly fighting one another, but considering the story line gimmick that replicas are being created by the villains, and you fight a handful of them in the middle chapters... that would have been a hell of a lot more preferable than facing randomly generated opponents that have some very wonky combinations of moves that could make some way over powered and others barley anything.

Then there is the other issue of the story mode, and that is the 'where the hell are they' factor when it comes to characters who were in the game at launch having little or no impact or involvement in the story. Two that spring to mind are Cell from Dragon Ball and Yugi from Yu-gi-oh. I get that you can't get screen time to everyone, but Cell isn't introduced until the back end of the story and you only have one direct fight with him.

Now yes, probably these are explored more in the side stories, but just because the side stories are there to add further color to the world of Jump Force, it doesn't excuse the fact that some characters got way too much screen... Frieza and Blackbeard in particular as the most prominent villains in the game that were franchise related .

I stand by what I said before two weeks ago that if Jump Force was more of a action adventure that had a fighting game element included like Dragon Ball Xenoverse 1 and 2, then it would've done a lot better, because hell, people are still playing Xenoverse 2 to this day! Hell it would justify the constant battles against the Venoms much like how in the Xenoverse games facing the Sabiamen and Cell Juniors was reoccurring.

Also for those wondering how I beat the Keyman / Prometheous in Chapter 9... basically spammed B for grabbing and throwing him while dashing, rinse and repeat.

I can safely say I will never replay the story mode of Jump Force ever again, the game does have some filler qualities in terms of chase-able achievements, particularly off-line. Hell ast he title says, less than 2.5% of X-Box players finished the story mode, and a lot of the other achievement that do-able but require grinding can be accomplished.... so don't be surprised if Jump Force pops up as filler on future streams! Actually come to think of it, we'll need to figure out what is going to replace Jump Force in the line up, since it's being regulated to filler... that will take some pondering!

Following the stream we sent the fun over to DaemonsW0lf who was playing Hunt: Showdown over at twitch.tv/daemonsw0lf

Jump Force Achievements

  1. Replicas: Cleared Chapter 5
  2. The Twisted Entourage: Cleared Chapter 6.

  4. Creation: Cleared Chapter 7.
  5. The Puppetmaster: Cleared Chapter 8.
  6. Darkness & Light: Cleared Chapter 9.

Twitch Clip Links

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout featured Straight Combo #2, Sway Back Combo and Hip Shape Focus Combo for 31 minutes and a estimated calorie burn of 454 kcal.

Someone posted a shaky cam bootleg video the final battle in Ghostbusters: Afterlife, safe to say it really makes me excited to see it... when it hits digital release (as well as DVD).

My Final Fantasy XIV off-stream adventures were mostly focused on the additional Hildibrand side stories with not much done in the way of dungeons, raids and stuff as I found these comedy side-quest series to be a lot of fun! At the time of this posting, I'm about a quarter of the way into Even Further Hildibrand Adventures Quests, which is the most recent sent.

Of course for tonight's stream, I will be playing Final Fantasy XIV, and I'll most certainly be focused on Dungeons, Raids and Trials, as I don't want to dive further into the Main Story Quest until I fully wrapped up any 'featured' side stories I've missed that doesn't involve unlocking another 'class' within the game. Plus the big patch to prep the game for Endwalker is this week, so holding off on main story stuff seems logical

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!

Synthetic Lives Will Matter

Good morning everybody,

It's Friday, and considering the work assignment I've been on this week, I'm glad it is, let me tell ya!

Anyway last night we wrapped up our first play through of Detroit: Become Human, and we certainly screwed up a lot, as Conner got shut down, Luther and Alice Died but Kara was still alive and Markus got his moral victory through peaceful protest. Needless to say bad decision were made, but the great thing about a game like Detroit: Become Human is that there are multiple paths and we could jump back to make different choices. So it's safe to say this will be apart of next year's gaming tour.

Part of where I screwed up is accidentally progressing things with Conner that advanced the plot before I could check everything out, which meant a lot of things got skipped. With Markus, things kind of stayed pretty event, but with Kara, things really went wrong on the boat to Canada when the patrol boat came by wand Luther was killed while Alice was gravely wounded, I had Kara 'keep going', because I felt it would have been wasted effort if she died when she made to Canada... so I guess not giving the bus ticket back would have kept them alive.

Now let's adjust the elephant in the room which is the title of today's entry, because when you think about Detroit: Become Human did a better job of addressing the issues of racism and how fucking screwed up the Human race is. We are collectively a very ignorant, self-serving people who can't even treat each other with any dignity, and do you think we'd be able to when artificial life becomes a reality? The answer to that is a resounding no, we will not. Just look at the Black Lives Matter movement, conflict between those in 'superior' position and those who are oppressed is always inevitable. Yes, there are people who think like me and are open mind it with a live and let live, don't bother me I won't bother you attitude... but sadly, the reality is, there are more people in this world are so closed minded that tolerating them is becoming more and more difficult every day.

Which is why I'm so grateful my job has really settled into having folks work remotely... it keeps me from dealing with idiots in person.

Big thanks to Sw33ts_gaming (twitch.tv/sw33ts_gaming) for the re-sub and continued support  Sw33ts_Gaming plays a lot of Smite and has recently played It Takes Two, they are certainly good people!

During the stream we had a big raid from redneckerthenyou who was playing Grand Theft Auto V before he brought his community over. I've known him for a while and he is a great guy! You can check out his content over at twitch.tv/redneckerthenyou

Following the stream we sent the fun over to Zanerli at twitch.tv/zanerli and he was playing Assassin's Creed Odyssey... and it was yet another reminder that I need to go play the games in that franchise.

Detroit: Become Human Achievements

  1. JERICHO'S HERO: Markus got enough parts

Yesterday we added three new additions to the collection, first was Marvel Super Heroes for the PSOne. This version is the Japan variant, which was nearly 1/3 of the cost of finding the North American version of the same game. This does mean I would have to use the modified PSOne to play it, but hey, I don't mind.... that's why we added it after all.

Next, we finally added the PSOne version of Marvel vs Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes EX Edition. As you recall, the last time I went searching for this game I was sent the Dreamcast version... which was great for collectors purposes, but as I stated before, the PSOne version of the first Marvel vs Capcom game had it's own unique build.

Lastly, we added Big Rumble Boxing: Creed Champions for the PlayStation 4 to the roster, making it the third game based around the Rocky franchise to be added. And while it is focused on the recent Creed films, I have the idea of maybe doing a Rocky 'legacy', where we feature the two PlayStation 2 era games (Rocky & Rocky Legends) as a way to build up anticipation for BRB:CC. Of course, I did notice that reviews for this were mediocre, but the good news is that it's achievements are focused more on actually playing it as an arcade styled fighting game which means we could have some fun with it.

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout lasted 31 minutes with the following exercises: Weaving Combo #2, Straight Combo #1 and Beginner Combo #2. The estimated calorie burn was 475 kcal, and the one missed punched ended up being a jab while in the Southpaw stance. Achievement progress update, we're up to 294/300 days for the Ten Months Hard Work and Transcendent Stamper achievements  & 29/30 hours for the  Hiro's Contender achievement. That last one we should unlock tomorrow, while the first two should unlock on Thursday.

For tonight's stream, Life is Strange: True Colors returns with 'Wavelengths' the bonus episode which takes place before the events of the main game.Since I doubt it'll cover the entire stream, we'll end up doing some other things too!

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!

Life is Strange But The Colors Are True

Good afternoon everyone,

Last night's stream featured Life is Strange; True Colors, and we got through three chapters in a stream that went 7.5 hours. This will contain spoilers for the game! You have been warned.

Our hero is Alex Chen who is going to live with her brother Gabe in Colorado, her power is based on empathy, she can read other people's emotions and use it to piece together what is either making them sad, angry and scared. This does have a draw back because she can feel those emotions and sometimes it will cause her to have a corresponding outburst (I came across two such instances, 1 is part of the story and the other towards the end of episode 3 seems to be avoidable). The town of Haven Springs is certainly a lovely little town, and we certainly have a lot of room to explore when we're outdoors. It's a lot 'bigger' than what we've seen in the other Life is Strange games by far, and you can use Alex's power to get a great deal of insight on the town.. Hell Exploring every thing and interacting with stuff such has finding spots for Alex to sit down and think about stuff are counted towards decisions made.

Anyway, Episode 1 is really a long drawn out introduction, I meant you basically are introduced to everyone important in Haven Springs, from Ethan and Charlotte, to Ryan and Steph, to Duckie and Diane... it all feels very genuine... if you ignore the fact that Gabe basically has been hyped about the arrival of Alex for some time. The story itself doesn't really get rolling until the end of episode 1 when Alex, Ryan and Gabe go to find Ethan who sneaked off to go into a closed off mine around the same time some mining excavations were going to take place. Gabe is killed, despite him phoning in a request for the excavations to be delayed... and the episode two opens with a clear conspiracy in place when the person Gabe talked to says 'there was no call'.Turns out the company doing the mining is up to some super shady shit, which becomes slowly more obvious over episodes two and three, but is fully revealed that they want to hide something at the end of episode three.

Now between the main plot there are several awesome sub plots and mini things that are peppered through out the game, you can interact with arcade machines for mini-games, find collectables that give further insight into the town and people of Haven Springs, and lot of these collectables are found by using Alex's powers, so in every area you can roam around in, always do a full search. Also there are some events tied to things people say, such as taking a lunch order or answering a riddle.

Regarding Alex's personality, she is certainly a medium between Max and Chloe as being kind of the most well adjusted... and she is certainly way more likeable than Sean from Life is Strange 2. Just over the first three episodes we see Alex come out of her shell from being unsure about moving to Haven Springs to being an big part of the small town community.

Unlike the first three Life is Strange games, True Colors does have a 'streamer' friendly mode.... however there are at least two instances I found in regards to there being awkward with no music at all instead of a non-licensed fill in. Both happen in Episode 1, one is when Alex and Gave are listening to a Kings of Leon record... and the other is when Alex finds the guitar beneath the bed.

You might have guess but I'm really looking forward to seeing what happens in episodes 4 and 5!

Following the stream we sent the fun over to Sheepfuzz (twitch.tv/sheepfuzz) who was playing Jackbox Party Packs! Sheepfuzz does a lot of community streams and is just an awesome streamer with a great personality!

We have two new additions to the collection that arrived yesterday from Japan. The first is Marvel vs Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes.... for the Sega Dreamcast. As you might know... I don't have a Sega Dreamcast, nor is my intention to get one that would play the Japan-release version of MvC. See I was expecting to get the PlayStation version, the one that is a very unique version of Marvel vs Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes that is a full on conversion to a 1 on 1 fighter with different gameplay mechanics and balancing. That said, it is cool to have a version of Marvel Vs Capcom that was released to the Sega Dreamcast because it is nearly arcade perfect in that is has the full 2 on 2 experience... but we kind of already have that with Marvel vs Capcom Origins that have I in my digital PS3 collection.

I have not given up hope on finding the unique version of Marvel vs Capcom for the original PlayStation, but the only way to find it is to look through imports from Japan, because the North American releases are way too overpriced.

Anyway, the other addition we have Shiritsu Justice Gakuen: Nekketsu Seisyun Nikki 2... which translates to  "Private Justice Academy: Hot-Blooded Youthful Diary 2".... but it's actually version 2.0 of Disc 2 for Rival Schools: United By Fate. It includes all the mini-games from the older version, along with two additional characters. The novelty here is the extra characters and having an 'updated' version of the Rival Schools is pretty neat... considering that the true sequel Project Justice has only ever seen a home release on the Sega Dreamcast.

Former Chicago Cub and Montreal Expo Andrew Dawson runs a funeral home in Florida and business is way to good for him because of how many knuckleheads in that state refuse to have any commonsense when it comes to protecting themselves from COVID and it's variants that are popping up.

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout lasted 31 minutes with an estimated calorie burn of 437 kcal. The exercises for today were Hip Shape Focus Combo, Straight Combo #2 and Swayback Combo. I did step on the scale yesterday and my weight is down to 246 lbs.

Didn't do any ranked matches in Overwatch yesterday or today (so far), so no results to report.

For tonight's stream we will be continuing Life is Strange: True Colors and we will finish episode 4 and 5! This is gonna be awesome!

See you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!

#ADayOffTwitch, Discord Streams And Other High-Jinks

Good morning everybody,

So we did not do a stream on Twitch last night because of the #ADayOffTwitch campaign, and I figured why not go through the tool that Twitch provides to make folks aware of how they can secure their channel chat rooms. I learned about these tools last year when I had a few runs ins with knuckleheads back during a weekend that involved Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3 and Twitch Sings.

So first here's what you do to find these tools: Go to your Dashboard, then settings and then moderation. From there you can see a number of tools to help secure your chat.

First is AutoMod Rulesets, which Automatically hold risky messages for Moderators to review.  You can set this up to provide a variety strength of filters from Less to Some to More to Maximum on a variety of different things such as.

  • Hostility
    • Aggression (Threatening, inciting or promoting violence or harm)
    • Bullying (Name-calling, insults and antagonization),
  • Discrimination & Slurs
    • Disability: Demonstrating hatred and prejudice based on perceived or actual mental or physical abilities
    • Sexuality, sex or gender: Demonstrating hatred and prejudice based on sexual identity, sexual orientation, gender identity, or gender expression
    • Misogyny: Demonstrating hatred and prejudice against women, including sexual objectification
    • Race, ethnicity or religion: Demonstrating hatred and prejudice based on race, ethnicity or religion
  • Sexual Content
    • Sex-based terms (sexual acts, anatomy)
  • Profanity
    • Swearing (Swear words)

Personality, I have the maximum filtering setting set on everything related to to Hostility, Discrimination & Slurs and Sexual Content, and only some filtering when it comes to Swearing, because I don't really have an issue with people swearing in my chat since it rarely if ever happens. So basically I have a chance to review anything and everything that comes through that gets caught by the filters, thus giving me an opportunity to deny something from being posted or to allow it.

Next, we have Blocked Terms and phrases, which are is a list of terms anyone can set so that messages containing those terms or phrases will be blocked from the chat. The list is automatically added when a mod denies a caught message in the filters, but you can manually add terms to it if, thus if you notice something being spammed as part of a hate raid, you can added those terms and phrase to the Blocked Terms and Phrases list to protect your chat in advance

Now, there is also Permitted terms and phrases, which if messages contain these terms, and no other blocked terms, will not be caught by AutoMod . So say you have the Profanity filter set to 'More Filtering', but you're cool with the term fuck being said in the chat, you can added that word to the Permitted terms and phrases list and as long as it's not used in combination with anything else that could be flagged, it will appear in the chat.

Next we'll look at Chat Options, and the first is Block Hyperlinks which automatically deletes posted URLS except those posted by the streamer, moderators, admins and VIPs, then their is Non-Mod Chat Delay, which can be set up to six-seconds, which adds a short delay before any non-mods sees messages, so again a preventive strike can be made to time out or ban someone who breaks your channel's rules.

Moving on, to Channel Privileges, and and Email Verification. If this is turned on, anyone that would like to send a message to your chat room must first verify their email address. This cuts down on bots spamming the chat, and thus you know that anyone who causes trouble in your chat has had their account verified.

Chat Rules is where you can set your own rules for your channel and first time viewers of your channel must agree to those rules before saying anything. Here is what mine say, .

Welcome, all are welcome here however, I do have my rules, they are simple and basic

- English only
- 18+ ONLY STREAM
- Respect the moderators, the other viewers and the streamer
- No links in chat unless approved by myself
- No harassing the mods, the other viewers or the streamer
- No trolling the mods, the other viewers or the streamer
- Be aware there is a time and place for discussion of social and political issues, my channel / chat is does not fit either of those criteria.
- No Follow For Follow Requests

If you prove yourself to be a problem, you will be banned.

It's straight to the point on the conduct that is not allowed on my channel. Most people get the message straight away.

Followers-Only Mode, if  enabled, viewers must follow you for a specific amount of time from  10 minutes to 3 months before they can say anything. You can only set it to allow any follower to chant instantly. Also there is the even more strict Subscriber-only Chat only allows those who are subscribers and moderators to chat

So hopefully this break down makes it easier for folks to get use to what tools they have to make use of to secure their chats.

And Now The Usual Stuff

Found a copy of Chaos Legion for the PlayStation 2 hidden with some DVDs, which does make me wonder whatever happened to my copy of Legends of Wrestling... I may have traded it in, but I'm almost positive I didn't. Maybe it accidentally got junked!

Sat down and watched the 2-Part Top Gear Africa Special, where Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May took three estate cars on a journey to find the source of the Nile. This is why I don't mind The Grand Tour shifting towards doing big specials instead of doing a weekly car show. It's on the adventures when the trio really shine in my opinion.

Now just because there was no stream on Twitch, there was one in my Discord, first did six Overwatch Mayhem Matches... winning five and getting three plays of the game, all as D.va. Now Since I set OBS to have replay buffer that means I have one clip from the stream to be on the Highlight Reel for the week.

Overwatch Discord Mayhem Matches

  1. D.va - Win - Play of The Game
  2. D.va - Win - Play of The Game
  3. D.va - Win
  4. D.va - Win - Play of The Game
  5. D.va - Loss
  6. D.va - Win

Unfortunately the same could not be said about some ranked matches I did last night, and both losses came at a result of no help from those who queue up to play Damage. If I'm playing D.va and I am consistently the last one standing while having gold on Eliminations Objective Kills and Objective Time while being often in Silver or Bronze for damage dealing, then something is wrong with how other people play ranked

Overwatch Ranked Matches (Tank)

  1. D.va - 07:28 - Win - 2-0
  2. D.va - 26:38 - Loss - 5-6
  3. D.va - 16:33 - Loss - 2-3

But that's not all, I then switched things over for their to be a watch along in my Discord of the movie Willow starring Val Kilmer. I can't remember the last time I watched it, but it's been a long while. Was fun to sit down and watch it. Maybe I should consider doing some 'Reaction' videos over on YouTube again. It's a thought to be considered. Amyway, big thanks to Iceman and PandaSweet for being apart of the Watch-Along.

A topic that came up during it was the strong possibility that Val Kilmer probably can't reprise his role as Madmartigan on the Disney+ series. Now that I have a thought considering the ages of three of the known cast members, probably one is the daughter of Madmartigan and Sorscha... so maybe a guest appearance by Kilmer would be do-able if that is the case.

So how did I spend my day off of streaming, well for one I put a lot spare cables and parts into a trunk to stick in the bottom of a closet, so that took a good hour to do. I went back and forth on taking down the green screen, but since it blocks those from seeing what's behind me, I figured I'd leave it up.

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout lasted 31 minutes with an estimated calorie burn of 513 kcal. The exercises for today were Intermediate Combo #1, Triple Combo #2 and the Biceps Shape Focus Combo. As you can see with the wrap up of Lin's Champion achievement yesterday, we have switched back to Hiro.

For tonight's stream, we'll play Life is Strange Episode 3 and maybe, Episode 4, or we'll pair up Episode 3 with some other thing. But we will be streaming tonight!

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!
