Rock Band, Spider-Man and Pizza

Good morning everyone,

Yesterday was kind of a rough day on several fronts, feeling less than motivated to day anything at all. As I said, when I'm given extra time to think, I get so inside my own head that I just feel depressed. So instead of using what I had to make dinner, I ordered a Pizza from Francello's (a local Pizza joint located in Pennsauken). For those wondering it was a Philly Steak Pizza, and it was delicious.

Last night's stream of Spider-Man saw us started and complete The City That Never Sleeps Part 1, and by complete I mean unlock every single trophy for it. As a follow up story, it works with Miles wanting to learn, The Black Cat being a part of the adventure, the big reveal that her father was also in the city, plus setting up the loose ends that is Sable International's goons canonically still being in New York following the ending of the main game.

I do feel like I have an opportunity to get all of the Challenge Tokens I need to unlock the remaining three Spider-Suits, but now the concern is Base Tokens,which appears to be only possible in the main story portion of the game. I know I'm going to need 5 more tokens, so I need to figure out which challenges I can do of the remaining bases that I've cleared before.

Not completely sure what's on the agenda for tonight's stream as Striker said he may not be available, so we'll see

Did quite a bit of singing in Rock Band 4 Rivals, and knocked out quite a few achievements, using some very obvious exploits. Since I'm not going to bother getting any of the actual instruments, I shall treat Rock Band 4 as I did Twitch Sings, as a fun way to spend some times.

On a positive note, I earned enough points through Bing and Microsoft to earn a couple of gift cards, so that was a pleasant surprise for sure.

Was so cold yesterday between the rain and the surprisingly low temperature that I had to turn the heater back on. I was less than thrilled with having to do that.

Saw that Doctor Who: The Edge of Reality now has a non-VR version of on the Xbox side of things, so we'll be checking that out sometime soon. And with the DLC additions to Vampire Survivors we could revisit that on stream as well

Solid Night of Overwatch

Good afternoon everyone,

Last night's stream of Overwatch 2 didn't have any noticeable issues, I did see that the downstream and upstream power levels were a lot more even than they were previously. So fingers crossed in that regard.

As far as playing Overwatch goes, we made a solid effort in trying to get PandaSweet within striking distance of Battle Pass level 200, and we certainly had a lot of fun. As always thank you to PandaSweet for being apart of the fun! 

I picked up three Plays of the Game, two as D.va and one as Junker Queen, so December is off to a decent start, considering I didn't get any POTGs prior to last night for the month.Other characters used were Reinhardt, Wrecking Ball, Soldier 76, Mei, Junkrat, Moira, Lucio and Brigitte. Also had a hell of a match as D.va racking up 39 Eliminations (which is reflected in the scoreboard screenshot).

Started work on another short story commission request based on fairly recent WWE stuff, the promo between Iyo Sky and Asuka certainly has me off to a good start just in terms of how idiotic I can write the dialog. 

Fred McGriff is going into the Baseball Hall of Fame... and this proves that Baseball Writers Association of America are a joke, because they should've voted him in instead of letting him wait until he would come up during the Winter Meetings

Managed to clear a ton of tracks on Hard Difficulty in Persona 4: Dancing All Night... granted using a few modifiers... still managed to get rated as brilliant on a few. I think I should also be able to acquire all the remaining costume gimmicks pretty easily once the rest of the story mode is finished.

Forgot How Long The TellTale's Game Of Thrones was

Good morning everyone

Last night's stream featured episodes one and two of Game of Thrones: A Telltale Series, and yes the plan was to play episode three as well... but I forgot how long TellTale the episodes could be, not to mention, with how I was taking my time with it, still this means we'll get three weeks out of it instead of the expected two, with episode three and four next Tuesday, with episodes five and six the following week.

In terms of how I'm playing, I'm trying to thing a little different with Mira Forrester since she's basically all on her own, but that kind of is what it is. Otherwise, I'm going for the Forresters in general to just basically wanting the Whitehills' heads on pikes. One does have to appreciate the cameos from the show... even though I never watched a single episode of Game of Thrones.

To pad things out a bit, we did load up Cacpom Arcade 2nd Stadium because... well there getting to 100 hours of game to knock out, not to mention the long grind towards

On a side note, note sure why the Sidekick 'BRB' reel was not working the way it should have. In fact it wasn't working particularly well on Monday either. Hopefully it'll sort itself out, otherwise I'll have to come up with some audio for the BRB screen.

Work yesterday was surprisingly decent, as I came across some very cooperative people in interview which was really nice.

Got a bit of writers block on finishing the short story commission request based on Batman: The Killing Joke, mostly divided on how I want to end it.

I stupidly (or wisely) loaded up Person 4: Dancing All Night and basically did all the tracks on Easy difficulty to see how many I could unlock, which was quite a few. It does seem that a couple are truly tied to the story mode or require some other method to unlock them.  Still with the songs unlocked and done, we'll have more a variety in between the chapters when we resume the story mode on Friday night's stream. Also picked up one Trophy as a result.

Always finding something new in Final Fantasy XIV

 Good afternoon everyone,

Last night's stream started with Final Fantasy XIV as we got back to side questing, by clearing out all the side quests remaining in the areas introduced to Shadowbringers. I still have to level up Carpentry up a major way to unlock a few other little quests in one of those areas, but all the main side quests are done. I then found myself back at Revenant's Toll finding more 'A Real Reborn' side quests there, and two interesting ones. The first being a tie in to Minfilia's death to wrap that up with a pendant being buried, and the other was a quest where the player becomes a stooge... I mean carrier in training for a PostMoogle (aka a Postman). That opens up a series of side quests that actually adds lore and content to minor, yet key NPCs the player meets in their journeys. Looking forward to going through those.

We also did a bit of Overwatch 2, as we were joined by PandaSweet to take a little advantage of the Double XP Weekend. I picked up one play of the game as Brigitte which was cool.

How did I spend Thanksgiving day you may ask? Well I did put in some more play time on Vampire Survivors in the late afternoon before the stream. When you know how to wait for certain items things it makes several runs incredibly easy to do. Now I also played it after the stream... and guess what? We completed it, every achievement was unlocked. My Xbox gamer score is at 95,000.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is Finished!

Good morning everyone,

Last night we wrapped up Dragon Ball FighterZ, going through the back end of the Android 21 story arc... or shall we call it the practice learning Android 18 showcase, because I did virtually every fight with 18 in the line up... except for those that involved having to set up 3-person conversations. I really liked the conversation 21 has with Piccolo and Tien, as it serves as a call back to Piccolo's soul link with Kami and the concerns regarding they would have over defeating Evil 21 and if it would cause Good 21 to disappear. 

Now we wrapped up the Story Mode at about 940 PM, so I made an attempt at getting an S-Rank on an arcade run... getting S Ranks on the first fights, only to earn an B rank on the third, which brought the arcade run down to a A-Rank. Also figured out how to do the Dramatic finishes... and by figure out I mean look up to see that it simply involves hitting someone with a Vanish Attack or a neutral heavy attack... and that's assuming the characters have dramatic finishes for their opponents... so we ended up seeing Bardock and Yamacha's.

Work was decent yesterday, speaking with Kitchen and Bath designers right before Thanksgiving is always a treat when people are looking to get out of the office.

Rather surprised the 76ers won last night, I actually said on stream that I was expecting the Nets to win because of the injuries to 76ers Roster. 

Played some more Vampire Survivors last night and 'beat the game', as indicated with the Greatest Jubilee Achievement. At this point, it's all about fulfilling some of the games objectives to clean up all the remaining achievements.

Star Trek Prodigy Supernova Is Finished!

Good morning everyone,

Last night we finished Star Trek Prodigy: SuperNova and the final two stages took an hour each to get through, and the way I figure even with quickly advancing through the dialog it would be nearly impossible to 'speed run' those levels solo because of the types of puzzles involved in them. That said I did enough the final boss fight against the System Slayer, and how everything wraps up nicely. I'll most likely end up trying to find the remaining collectables off-stream to see what 'cheats' are unlocked.

Speaking of the System Slayer fight I did love the fact that all the mechanics that are taught during the game in how to deal with the Watchers are basically used for it, so it's not having to figure something out as was the case with the two earlier big bosses.

This does indeen mean Pokemon Violet will begin next Monday nigh, and hopefully there be a patch update before then to address some of the issues players have already experienced.

Prior to the stream I was playing Vampire Survivors just to knock out a few achievements, and because I had a few things on my mind and wanted to clear my head before stream. But since we wrapped up Star Trek Prodigy: SuperNova at an early enough time, I switched consoles to feature Vampire Survivors on stream and had a few successful runs in it.

So my internet problems have to do Xfinity's poor infrastructure

 Good afternoon everyone,

So yesterday afternoon the Xfinity tech came out and saw that everything was literally perfect with things at my house, but the real problem was with the infrastructure of their network beyond my house. He said it was with the 'Plant' which serves the area, and that yesterday things were really bad (as we experienced on last night's stream), things were better today with only two sudden stream resets.

So as for last night's stream it was a variety night starting with Fall Guys, and I actually won a show! I made damn sure to get the clip for that right away. Also played some MultiVersus and managed to get myself closer to earning the achievement for playing 100 matches in a 'party' Won one match with an epic double elimination that resulted in a come from behind victory. Next was Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed where I won my first match while being a ghost, and I managed to score some achievements in that while also getting my first win playing as a Ghost, before playing a few matches of Smite losing 2 and winning 1 to close out the night.

Xfinity Service Got So Bad Yesterday

Good morning everyone,

Yesterday afternoon at about 345 PM, I noticed a sudden drop in my internet speed while working, (and having a pretty good day too), then when I ran a speed test I saw my internet speeds were at 124 Mbps on the download and 1.1 Mbps for the upload... and considering i pay for 400 Mbps / 10 Mbps, that was a major problem. So I went ahead to rest my modem... and that did not work. I called Xfinity directly and they didn't see anything wrong, but scheduled an appointment for a tech to come out on Saturday afternoon.

So all fine a good right? Well I noticed that my speeds would improve to being back to normal, then dropping off again in the early evening, and I tried to star a stream for Final Fantasy XIV at 7 PM when a speed test results looked normal. But nope, everything went in the crapper straight away. I called Xfinity back, this time to try and get some answers... and after being hung up on twice, I finally got through to someone who was able to see the inconsistency with my service, and they told me I was having these issues going back to Friday.

Which makes sense because I had indications of YouTube telling me I was offline when I was online, I just chalked it up to an issues with YouTube, and had a real tough time uploading a few highlight reels to my Facebook page. So at the very least I got a $30 credit put on my account with Xfinity, and hopefully these issues can be resolved with the tech visit on Saturday.

I did hanged out on Kalenal's stream as they were playing Final Fantasy XIV over at twitch.tv/kalenal, and I ended up playing Vampire Survivors for a good portion of the evening, and managed to knock out several achievements. More on this in a bit.

Now about 10 PM things looked like they got to normal, so I started up a stream to get in some Final Fantasy XIV action for the week. My plan to do Side Quests was negated so I ended up doing Raids. We also worked in Vampire Survivors into the stream as well, with the focus on clearing Stage 4 with a level of 80 or higher, which I managed to do as Mortaccio. The build I ended up using practically made me immortal.

Anyway work was solid yesterday as I said earlier, just too bad I lost the final hour because of the internet issues. On the plus side, I did get an automatic call from Xfinity saying they 'fixed' the issue, but I did not cancel the appointment for Saturday afternoon, because I know how that works.

How Would I Consider Fallout 76 To Be Finished?

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream of Fallput 76 was productive in a few ways as I actually got daily quests done that I started months ago, one of which lead to an achievement. Which actually brings forward the condition of which for when would I consider Fallout 76 to be a finished game... and I have two qualifiers for it. Either I get the 'I Have Become Death' achievement worth 50 gamer score... or I earn enough of a gamer score through other in-game achievements to hit 1000... and all I need is 40. 

There are two Event related achievements associated with the Monster Mash & Breach and Clear events that I could focus on whose achievements are worth 20 each, and also doing favors at the White Spring would net an achievement to get 30.

Big thanks to Iceman who was part of the stream last night to help with challenges, and for alsoresubscribing to the channel for the 56th month in a row! I always appreciate the awesome support for the things that I do! 

On a side note, the stream re-started twice times, but there were no internet issues that I could detect on my side, so I'm assuming it was on Twitch's end somewhere. I of course will continue to track the issues as best I can. Knowing Comcast, they are going to blame it on the weather.

Work yesterday was rather forgettable with a lot of rude people with nothing getting done. 

Played some more Vampire Suvivors last night and banged out a bunch of achievements, I'm having a bit of tough luck on the 4th stage, which I came very close to clearing but it introduces some very weird elements late in the 30 minute duration. Also earned my 4,000th Xbox achievement as well.

The Android 21 Story Arc Is Basically A Spotlight For Android 18!

 Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream of Dragon Ball FighterZ was focused on the Android 21 story arc... which actually was mostly focused on Android 18 and Android 16 because they are the only playable character up until the boss fight against Cell on Map 11. So the fights end up being either 2 versus 1, 2 versus 2 or 2 versus 3.

Now I wonder why Android 18 gets the big spotlight, now it's obvious because she was the lone female character on the launch roster that was playable from the start... and also because she was created by Dr. Gero as part of his quest to avenge the Red Ribbon. Actually those are the only reasons, but the funny thing is, 18 gets perhaps the easiest path to hit Level 40, in fact we finished tonight being in the mid 30s, putting us in a good spot to hit level 40 as part of next Tuesday's stream. 

Anyway. I am kind of amazed that they went the full Majin Buu Good / Evil split with Android 21, which in a way makes sense to keep her as a protagonist in addition to capitalizing on her Buu like design, but this does raise questions.... such as how did anyone get Buu's DNA?!

At the very least we'll be finished with Dragon Ball FighterZ next Tuesday, as we have 5 or 6 more maps to cover to finish up the Android 21 Story Arc. So we're looking for two achievements, but at the very least we'll get one.

Work yesterday was... alright... nothing special, felt a bit productive to an extent.

Per the recommendation of Lunar_Princess, I picked up Akiba's Trip as a game that is a PlayStation 4 exclusive... but the version Amazon delivered wast he Region 3 version for Japan. Oh well, good thing the game discs can be used on any PS4 console. Still it is rather funny anomaly in my collection.

Also picked up Hentai vs. Evil for the PS4... and Amazon sent the Region 2 version.

Donald Trump announced he's running for President and I said it last night on stream, the sooner he is six feet under, the better. Watch the Republican Party just 'bow and kiss the ring' because of how idiotic they have become, The GOP is now where near what it was back when I first was able to vote back in the early 2000s. 

Played some more Vampire Survivors last night and figured managed to complete two stages, which means basically surviving for 30 minutes. Turns out evolving the book and the water leads to some heavy duty areas of effect!

2nd Week Of Star Trek Prodigy SuperNova is in the books

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream of Star Trek Prodigy SuperNova saw both story progression as well as replaying earlier levels in the game in the pursuit of better times and finding collectables. As the plot of this game develops, it becomes very clear that if one has watched the show then there would be a better understanding of Gwyn and her memories. That said, I love the spear weapon she gets, as it's fast, can be used to close in on enemies and does a fair amount of damage quick. For sure we'll finish this game next Monday because all that's left are two levels and a third boss fight.

That said, completing Star Trek Prodigy SuperNova is another issue all together, because one has to not only find all the collectables, and somehow I missed the final two in the third level, but also completing each level within a certain time limit, which means remember all the solutions to every puzzle... which would be fine until one realize the speed running is meant for two people, because some sections have  having cause and effect puzzles, such as Dal pushes a block in their part to help Gwyn cross a gap so that she can flip a switch to help him reach a higher platform.

On a side note, the second boss of the game looks like a Reaper from Mass Effect, just look at it in the screenshot that I've included.

Started writing the requested commission story based around Halo 4... the client wants it to involve Palmer and Master Chief... but they barely have any interactions in the game... so I get to make shit up to somehow make it work!

Played a lot of Vampire Survivors last night off-stream and knocked out quite a few achievements. Did discover that it's Xbox port can crash under various circumstances. Considering the odds of getting achievement on tonight's stream is very unlikely this ended up extending a streak that started this past Friday. This also ended up being the 150th game on Xbox consoles that has achievements that I've played.

We Got Achievements as Doomfist and Sombra?!

Good afternoon everyone,

Last night's stream of Overwatch 2 was a bit shocking because I ended up getting three achievements for characters I normally don't play as. First was as Sombra where I got both of her character achievements in one match in the span of like 30 seconds. Sure someone was not happy that I was playing Sombra in multiple rounds... but they certainly weren't complaining when I came through in a big way in my greatest performance as her ever... in fact the screenshot is of the stats. Also got one of DoomFist's achievement by pure luck, but I feel his other one using his ultimate to hit four people at once is going to be very tough.

Now I did end up using a lot of different characters last night, and I think I used every tank at least once, I know had few matches as Hanzo, Junkrat, Moira, Ana, Brigitte... and also picked up a couple of Plays of the Game as well! All in all a good match.

Hoped into Fallout 76 to cheese out the grind for Becoming Allies With The Crater, and managed to pick up two more achievements as well. Here's how to do it:

1. Get Retirement Plan Daily Mission/Quest
2. Talk to Rocksy about the Raider.
3. Confront the Raider and Attack.
4. Report back/talk to Rocksy.
5. Select "Appalachia has a new corpse"
6. Quickly back out of the conversation after saying the dialog.
7. Repeat steps 4-6.

This can be a bit grindy but it is do-able. If you side with Crater over Foundation as it relates to the Treasure Vault Raid, it will save a lot of time.

Fallout 76 Achievements

• Ground Zero: Be at Ground Zero of a Nuclear Blast
• Scorched Earth: Win the "Scorched Earth" Event
• Friends in Low Places: Become allies with Crater

Also did some some off stream achievement in Dragon Ball FighterZ to get to 20 casual matches played... I got my ass kicked doing it, but hell I did win one match.

A Full Night Of Turtle Power,

Good afternoon everyone,

Last night's stream of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge was full of Turtle Power. Granted trying to find full games to join or even start with the hope of randoms joining was an adventure in and of itself, but we did do a full arcade run as Splitter, and thus I am counting it as a game finished on stream. The story mode has more of an RPG element to it, but it is basically the same as the arcade mode.

Of course the net-code issues I mentioned the other day were on full display depending on when people are joining into games, and some weird latency issues. Of course once you get six people playing on screen at the same time it because pure chaos and nearly impossible to tell where you are at any given moment depending on how quickly people are building up their super meters. 

We did get a few achievements done last night, some of which involved just some general progression and doing repeated tasks. I did go back into it after the stream to knock out as many achievements as I could, so on the list below, the first six were done on stream, the remainder were done off-stream.

Vampire Survivors: Simple, Difficult And Awesome

Good afternoon everyone,

Last night's stream of Vampire Survivors was a lot more fun than even I was anticipating as I figured out what combination of items worked out best for me, and having some runs that lasted over 20 minutes!  One thing I did realize is that the Pentagon power up is a great screen clear, but it not only takes out enemies, but also all the XP gems and pick-ups that are on screen. In terms of levels, I did make it to the 3rd level of the game overall, and found the mandatory item... but to progress further would require a lot grinding to build up the powers up one can have heading into a level. The music in the second stage, the library is pretty kick ass. Of course there was a hilarious moment that when I took a break I forgot to un-mute my mic.

Also the stream featured the unboxing of the latest Funko POP I've added too my collection of WWE's Becky Lynch, in particular the 'Becky Two Belts' variant, so now I have all three Funko figures of the last Superstar in wrestling that really had my full attention.

Now that I think about it, yesterday was the most achievements I've earned on a game through Steam in quite a while since I've mostly focused on console gaming over the past 18 months.

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout featured Uppercut Combo #1, Hook Combo #1 and Waist Shape Focus Combo for 30 minutes.

Capcom had some interesting thing in their showcase, with Monster Hunter Rise getting a big update, Exo-Primal getting a new trailer, hype for the Capcom Fighting Collection and Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium. I know a lot of folks are excited for things being added to Resdient Evil VILLage with it getting a story expansion and a third-person mode.

Speaking of Capcom, Dragon's Dogma has celebrated its 10th anniversary and I totally forgot LvStrkr gifted me that game early last year.  Really going to have to give that a look probably once Persona 5 Royal is finished.   

Put in the pre-order for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge, so I we'll be featuring that on Stream for Saturday this week. I now have to think of when was the last time I did anything associated with the Ninja Turtles on my channel and I think it was with Out of the Shadows back during my 2nd or 3rd year of streaming. Oh wait, I know I played the Arcade ROMs of the Arcade Game and Turtles in Time.

A New Week Begins

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream of Overwatch was pretty fun, as we were joined by PandaSweet and a friend of theirs named Snow. I ended up with a pair of plays of the game, both as D.va in very key moments. Also on the surprising side, I even picked up an achievement as Junkrat. Other characters I used were Reinhard, Moira & Ashe. A general observation is that there was a strong uptick in overly aggressive game play, and the queue time to play damage roles were a lot longer than normal, but there was also an issue of getting replacement tanks and support role players in some matches.

Going to Overwatch 2 for a moment, based on her teaser trailer, I will not be surprised if Drace Domino will end up with a bunch of commission work based on the Junker Queen.  

I became aware of an issue with the Sports Score Bot after the stream, hopefully the people behind it will solve the issues, because it has been a really cool addition to my stream.

While I have played Diablo III, I'm not 100% sold on what I saw with the Trailer of Diablo 1V, but then again, I wasn't a fan of the ending of Diablo III.But if it has the implied cross-play component then we might give it a look.

When we raided Kalenal (twitch.tv/kalenal) on Saturday night, we got a very good recommendation for a game called Vampire Survivors which we'll feature on tonight's stream. It is a rouge-lite game where you see how long you can survive. There are different glasses of characters, and I have already given it a shot, even picking up a number of achievements for it. Currently Vampire Survivors is only available on Steam.

Vampire Survivors Achievements

• Wings: Reach Level 5.
• Hollow Heart: Survive 1 minute with any character.
• Fire Wand: Destroy 20 light sources.
• Lancet: Find an Orologion.
• Empty Tome: Have 6 Different Weapons.
• Candelabrador: Get Holy Water To Level 4.
• Peachone: Survive 10 minutes with any character.
• Crown: Reach Level 10.
• Runetracer: Survive 5 minutes with Pasqualina.
• Garlic: Find 5 Floor Chickens.
• Lightning Ring: Defeat a total of 5000 enemies.
• Magnet: Find a Vacuum.
• Arca: Get Fire Wand to Level 4.
• Pummarola: Survive 5 minutes with Gennaro.

Now for tonight's stream, we shall feature Vampire Survivors, even though getting OBS to capture it involves having to use Window Capture, because for whatever reason Game Capture does not work, and setting it to full screen doesn't fill up the full screen.
