This week we wrapped up two video games, one Grandia II as part of the Grandia HD Collection was wrapped up on Tuesday's stream in very straight forward fashion... with the exception of the rematch with the Eye of Valmar which is a battle that can end real quickly depending on what the enemy AI wants to do. Still we ended up 66 of the 71 achievements between the first game and its sequel.

Second game we knocked out was Brave The Video Game, making it the 3rd time and 3rd different version we've finished. (Other two times were on Steam and PlayStation 3). Did try to play it on its hardest difficulty setting, but my reflexes are too slow .

Picked up a bunch of achievements in Sea of Thieves, some off which were done off stream. Sea of Thieves will not be on the agenda this week with Iceman being away.

So on Wednesday we'll play Smite, and I'm working on getting Neith to rank 10.

Monday I'm going to start Little Kitty Big City, which will also be featured on Tuesday and possibly Thursday. We'll see how the achievement hunting goes 

Closing in on the next major story related trophy in God Eater Resurrection, but it maybe like a week or two before we reach that point.

I got to work in more Overwatch off-stream to knock out the battle pass.

Grandia HD Collection and others

Thanks to taking full advantage of the in game AI settings I was able to level grind heavily in Grandia II, getting to level 50 off-stream, which meant we were so over powered and prepared for the Melfice fight, since we had mana eggs and skills maxed out to where I could have Ryudo wail on him while Mareg, Tio and Elena applied buffs and de-buffs. I wonder just how trivial many of the remaining boss fights are going to be? Also managed to get the Nut Grabber achievement which is perhaps the greatest named achievement ever.

Also this week, picked up an achievement in Overwatch to complete Echo's set, after like a month of trying. 

Iceman and I nabbed three achievements in Sea of Thieves, I'm going to need to see what ones can be easily done from the ones who don't have that don't involve playing the main game.

Finally nabbed an achievement in Bejeweled 2, granted it was not the one I was trying to get, but hey, at least it's on the record of things I've done.

We're closing in on the end of the end of the original story arc in God Eater Resurrection, and Shio is clearly an adorable character., but it was another week with no trophies earned.

Got some weed killer and it's made a difference on some parts of my property. I really need to get a proper weed whacker / mower to deal with some of the overgrowth which does not involve lawn trimming string.

On the story writing front, two places where I would post stuff publicly have been shut down, and the time of it in relation to what has been going on in Venezuela can't be a coincidence. That said I am working on a Spider-Man related commission, and over the next week my agenda includes WWE, Legend of Korra and possibly Star Wars.

Grandia HD Collection and other notes

This week we finished Grandia on Thursday night (well early Friday Morning) with only three missed achievements in that half of the Grandia HD Collection. We started up Grandia II tonight, banging out 8 in nearly five hours. Grandia II will be featured on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays. I did forget that Grandia II's camera is not as helpful as the original games because of the more 3D environment

Installed some older WWE 2K games cause I have an idea for some streams late in the year to feature some older games, and I knocked out several achievements. Rather surprised how many were diamond achievements in 2K17 and 2K18. Hell same applies to Bejeweled 3

Messed around some with Guilty Gear Strive and it's not as fun as the XRD games in the franchise, but I do intent to try and feature it this year, give maybe several streams dedicate to it.

Iceman and I lucked out in getting three achievements in Sea of Thieves, so our Wednesday night adventures have lead to some gamer score boosts form time to time.

No trophies earned in God Eater Resurrection, but we did reach Level 5 difficulty in terms of the hunts, so the game is starting to become very difficulty. Also some the clipping  and bullshit involving hit detection was very apparent this past Friday.

Outside of Monday work was solid all week, I did get in a little trouble with my tendency to free style a little 

On the story writing front I got several commissioned requests done and have three more to do to wrap up Augusts work load. With luck I can get them done in short order in order to get a jump on Septembers content.

Tonight, Iceman and I were back at it in Sea of Thieves, and discovered a quest that involved transporting good from a port to a seapost with the need to deliver them all in time. Story wise, we knocked out the Tower of Doom and it's aftermath in a pretty straight forward manner, granted I am looking to level up Feena's Wind and Water magic as much as possible while having to focus on Justin using his weapons, and to a lesser extend letting Rapp use a lot of magic as well. We got Milda in the party as well obvious, and I forgot that she is 'supposed to be' 19 years old, but just does come across as being older.

We also extended the stream for an hour to find the Kung Fu Master fight in the Soldiers Graveyard, and we were successsful, granted I completely forgot how much of a pain in the ass that fight is because of all of the boss having passive healing. Next thing on the agenda is finding the Castle of Dreams.

Tonight's stream of Grandia saw me trying to remember exactly how to get through Typhoon Tower as there was things that needed to be done in order access the tallest portion of the tower. On the plus side we did dealt with the Klepp King in pretty short order. The fact that I miss a mana egg is rearing its ugly head giving that Sue just has Water and Earth magic to use. On the plus side, Justin and Feena have all magic sets unlocked, so leveling them up will simply mean more battle hunting..

We did set things up so that the next time we feature Grandia, we're already halfway to Gumbo so we should be able to knock that out straight away.

Tonight we covered two major story arcs in Grandia, one getting the steamer pass and second dealing with the Ghost Ship, which means we had the big moment were Justin tried to ditch Sue and meeting Feena. Next time we play Grandia it will be to get to Feena's house and basically rescue her from her forced wedding, which should be a lot of fun.

Also made sure to get the best possible gear because I remember the road to Feena's home being a pain to get through!

Sea of Thieves and other notes

Iceman and I had our fair share of misadventures, with our ship getting sunk twice, having to use a row boat to get loot back to an outpost,  finding the Dutchess bountyand battling other vessels. It was rather hilarious to a large degree at times, as is expected with Sea of Thieves.

Tonight we banged out four achievements in Marvel's Midnight Suns and we rescued The Hulk as well as saw a huge a lot of character development.We are actually in the home stretch, we have one more major story mission, but we got to delay doing it to get a couple of achievements before the credits roll

About 75% finished the Persona 3 related story commission, probably will get $30 to $40 for it 

Comet seems to air Buffy the Vampire Slayer in episode order... but today for whatever reason there was a mix-match of episodes focused on Cordellia

 Iceman and I had a real wild night of Sea of Thieves with a lot of loot found, combat and general hilarity. We came close to sinking an enemy vessel but we both boarded it but it's all good.

Also had a new dedicated headset for when doing voice chat on the XBox Consoles, and the real issue I have is balancing the audio mix on the console.

Work was super solid this evening, as I was over production.

The Resident Evil commission is still in progress, it probably will be finished by Friday as I was given a cap of 10,000 words.

We advance the plot quite a bit, seeing that Johnny Blaze has the missing page, we got the Darkchyld armor and rescued Wanda. Plus picked up the last of Storm's not Challenge Missions achievements. Rest of the way I'm probably going to be making sure to include Storm, Venom, Deadpool and Morbius to get their friendship levels up so their challenge missions can be knocked, since there are achievements associated with them.

Also need to make sure when Spider-Man, Magik or Captain Marvel are leading side missions to try spread things out to ensure another achievement is done.

Tonight's stream of Sea Of Thieves saw Iceman and I finding a ton of Bounty Skulls thanks to the various circumstances, including our first run in with Gold, Shadow and Leaf Skeletons, all of which have weaknesses that have to be accounted for..

I must have taken a bad step, as my left foot feels hot and sore similar to when I sprained my ankle last year 

Work was solid tonight, but it was the third different assignment I've been on in three days

Started work on the Star Wars commission, and got the intro and set up written.... so I can work on the first action scene tomorrow

Tonight we extended the stream of Marvel Midnight Suns because I was trying to find the last one of the plants I needed to that collection related achievement... sadly RNG is a factor even with a guide knowing where stuff will spawn. Need to make sure to go hunting on the Waxing Moon next time in game.

Otherwise we advanced the plot the Sanctum Santorum has been destroyed, but we were able to finally start the Venom DLC, which means the sub-story involving the DLC characters can progress forward. Mephisto being a factor is kind of cute.

Work was solid, the assignment was not as good as last night however

Finished the Persona 3 story, next up is a large Star Wars one, hopefully I can pad it out to make up for lost work from last week

Iceman, Striker and I knocked out the last chunk of the Monkey Island Tall Tales, and it was a satsifying conclusion, even if roaming the catacombs was a bit annoying. Next time out, we'll be able to focus on just roaming around and finding treasures and stuff.

I've been unable to get the Low-V version of MeTV, which meant I've been unable to watch any of its subchannels... but the trade off has been getting every other UHF channel in the area.

We got a fair bit done in Marvel's Midnight Suns, unlocking various achievements and actually forced to advance the plot a bit because of how the DLC is locked behind certain things being done and areas being available. But we did do the introduction mission for Morbius, so we got the Living Vampire on the crew now.

Work got cancelled today, and I believe its tied to the July 4th Holiday... its one of those weeks of the year that always screws me over 

Wrote  large chunk of a Dragon Ball commission, I really should put a cap on how many characters can be included for the SubscribeStar Commission tier.

Got a good night's sleep last last night after being up for 36 hours. Will be going to be bed in about 1/2 an hour once all the usual post stream stuff is done!

Tonight's stream saw a lot of roaming around the abbey in Midnight Suns as we opened up new ares to explore and saw that there are things that re-spawn periodically. S between every mission there is bound to be a Mass Effect like roaming around session.

I do need to get the Hunter to level 8 or higher to unlock the second hidden power, and possibly try to get abilities that can strike multiple enemies at once.

We didn't really advance the plot, but discovered there are missions that can be done before major story ones to earn additional rewards and such. I'm really liking this game overall!
