Today's Notes 1/2/21

Good afternoon everybody,

First up, we have some brand new artwork from DaemonsW0lf (twitch.tv/daemonsw0lf and darkwolfcreative.com) where we see the return of The Bunny... or rather an alternate version of him one that has a fondness for jelly babies and travels in a Tardis....which lands in the lounge where Samus Aran, Commander Jane Sheppard and Lena 'Tracer' Oxton are having a night out. Now most of that was my original idea, but I deferred to DaemonsW0lf when it came picking what characters this long scarf wearing rabbit encounters, and I can't think of a better trio, since Mass Effect and Overwatch are major franchises I frequently feature, and the Samus-Shepard connection is pretty firmly established at this point, with two prior art pieces featuring the two (also helps that Jennifer Hale voiced both characters). Still as you see DaemonsW0lf knocked it out of the park with this piece!

Last night's stream saw the start up of Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2, and while the chore of course through the lore of Dragon Ball Z again isn't appealing, I love the fact that my character from the first game is acknowledged and appears in the sequel, right down to my new character, called "Isey" basically being able to use the moves I finished the first game with. Now I did a six hour stream last night, and already hit level 30, because it seems there are lot of ways to level up including purchasing levels out right, daily grinding and so forth. Hell with where I was at, I was able to hang in with the first of the DLC parallel quests (the one on recruiting people for the Tournament of Power) up until the Trunks/Goten round. Still the real goal is to get through the main story and we'll put more of an effort into that on Monday.

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 session was pretty solid, without the No Mercy mode being apart of it. Everything was pretty spot on with the exception of a couple of  jabs and left hooks from the Orthodox stance. Did hit 150 starts, and I love the fact the game said 'try to get three starts on every exercise',  when thus far I haven't had one instance of not getting three stars, hell even when I'm wearing down I haven't experienced that.

Tonight we'll be back to Zero Escape: The Nonary Games with our qoal being to get a second ending. Last week we got the Ax ending with Clover being the pyschopath I knew she had to be when I first saw DaemonsW0lf play it a while back. With luck it'll be another 'bad' ending, so this way we can work towards getting the true ending.

It does seem like Twitch is having tones of issues loading things and keeping things loaded on their site as of late, which is very weird. Refreshing doesn't help, so it has to be something on their end that is just going bonkers. One could say it was karma for closing Twitch Sings. I won't... but one could say it... oh wait I did say it..... oops.
