Good morning everybody,
It's Thursday, we're a day closer to the weekend! Woo-hoo!
Last night Iceman and I finished Gears of War 3, and oddly enough it did not take us as long as Gears of War 2 did, granted it did take an extra night because of how were pacing out the different Acts.Act V of Gears of War 3 is really straight forward to get to Marcus's dad who is working on an way to stop the lambent, which is a parasitic life form that mutants any and everything. This does end up having some tragic results as Marcus loses his dad in the process and does set up why he's a recluse in Gears of War 4. As always big thanks to Iceman for all his help.
Also in addition to finishing the game, I did more Horde mode stuff, again making it to level 40 before having to get ready for the campaign. I totally see that getting to level 50 is doable, but it will involve hoping superior players can carry me... HA! Good news is that Iceman and I will be doing one more night of Gears of War 3 next week to mess around with both Horde and Beast mode, which should be a lot of fun.
You know what's funny? In regard to Gears of War 3's default achievements, I have 62% unlocked. Pretty cool.
Also I noticed that my mic was muted on stream... Iceman could hear me in voice chat, but no one could hear me who was watching! It's weird, I'm normally really good about unmuting my mic on stream... wonder what happened... which means one of the great moments of the stream regarding things that make Marcus Phoenix go 'Hmmm..." is lost to history....
Following the stream we sent the fun over to Kalenal who was playing Final Fantasy XIV over at twitch.tv/Kalenal! Kal also plans to stream FF14 on Saturday night as well!

Also big thanks to Kalenal who was very kind me up with a few newbie items to help me not get bogged down with relying on walking to get around early in the game which was cool, since I started messing around with FF14 on Monday! I have reached the point where the Side Quests I find are a bit too much for me to handle (Level 23) as I explored several areas and I'm starting to see stuff at Level 25 and above... so yeah I better start work on the Main Story Quests!
So yesterday something odd happened as Twitch was apparently hacked by some goofball who claims they wanted to 'foster more disruption and competition in the online video streaming space' which they described as being a 'disgusting toxic cesspool' by stealing the source code and leaking information that really no one should be seeing. I will never understand the mindset of those who would do nonsense like this, because all they end up doing is hurting the ones they claim to be 'helping'.
Now I did take the initiative to change my password, even though I had 2FA turned on, better safe than sorry... though this did mean I had to make some adjustments to things like OBS, my StreamDeck and StreamElements as well. It also meant that Twitch got disconnected from my YouTube page which means archiving streams is on hold unless I do the download/upload method... ugh that's gonna suck
You know every time I talk to a Trump supporter, I feel as if my brain cells stop working because of the amount of stupidity those fools spout... and I realized that because of medical science, these idiots are going to be around till their 90s at the very least! FUCK!
Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout lasted 28 minutes with the following exercises: Hook Combo #2, Front-Back Step Combo and Beginner Combo #1.Total estimated calorie burn was 446 kcal. Had one missed Left Hook during a combo sequence... ugh!
Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm & Exercise EX Achievements
- Ten Month's Hard Work: Perform Daily Workouts for 300 Consecutive Days
- Transcendent Stamper: Acquire 300 Stamps
With those two achievements unlocked, we now have an idea of what's next in each sequence. The first is called One Year's Hard Work which is to perform daily workouts for 365 consecutive days (which I believe would end up on December 11) and the second is Unparalleled Stamper which is to Acquire 350 stamps (Which I believe would by November 26 by getting one stamp daily)
For tonight's stream we'll be looking to wrap up The Walking Dead Season 1 with Episode 5 & 400 Days, which means we'll be adding yet another game to the list of things finished this year. No way we'll be able to top the list of games finished in 2022 considering we have an shot at reaching 60 games!
