Forgot How Long The TellTale's Game Of Thrones was

Good morning everyone

Last night's stream featured episodes one and two of Game of Thrones: A Telltale Series, and yes the plan was to play episode three as well... but I forgot how long TellTale the episodes could be, not to mention, with how I was taking my time with it, still this means we'll get three weeks out of it instead of the expected two, with episode three and four next Tuesday, with episodes five and six the following week.

In terms of how I'm playing, I'm trying to thing a little different with Mira Forrester since she's basically all on her own, but that kind of is what it is. Otherwise, I'm going for the Forresters in general to just basically wanting the Whitehills' heads on pikes. One does have to appreciate the cameos from the show... even though I never watched a single episode of Game of Thrones.

To pad things out a bit, we did load up Cacpom Arcade 2nd Stadium because... well there getting to 100 hours of game to knock out, not to mention the long grind towards

On a side note, note sure why the Sidekick 'BRB' reel was not working the way it should have. In fact it wasn't working particularly well on Monday either. Hopefully it'll sort itself out, otherwise I'll have to come up with some audio for the BRB screen.

Work yesterday was surprisingly decent, as I came across some very cooperative people in interview which was really nice.

Got a bit of writers block on finishing the short story commission request based on Batman: The Killing Joke, mostly divided on how I want to end it.

I stupidly (or wisely) loaded up Person 4: Dancing All Night and basically did all the tracks on Easy difficulty to see how many I could unlock, which was quite a few. It does seem that a couple are truly tied to the story mode or require some other method to unlock them.  Still with the songs unlocked and done, we'll have more a variety in between the chapters when we resume the story mode on Friday night's stream. Also picked up one Trophy as a result.

A Frustrating Night Thanks To Xfinity

Good morning everyone,

Since the Xfinity tech came out last Sunday, I only had one day with issues while streaming and that was last Saturday night... tonight saw a return to the issues I was having with constant stream resets and clear network path issues that I thought were resolved. First attempt at streaming was at about 6:30 and it was resetting every 5 to 15 minutes. I downed the stream at 7:30, did a full restart of the PC and the modem, while also calling Xfiniy with the ticket number from the last set of issues. After being blatantly lied to I was given a new ticket number and was told things would be escalated because of the prior issues. Out of about 4 and half hours of stream time, only two and a half hours were archived

I might just star recording Streams to my hard-drive while streaming and uploading them directly to YouTube at the very least that would mean footage wouldn't lost. But just for the record, as I was uploading the highlight reel for the week on YouTube.. it took 40 minutes.And considering the highlight reels are often less than 6 minutes long, that is a problem.

Now we did play MultiVersus, Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed and Capcom Arcade 2nd Stardium. And I should probably talk about Marvin the Martian who was just added to MultiVersus. He's labeled as an Assassin class, but he doesn't seem to have as much of the versatility that Harley Quinn does. We had several good runs in Ghostbusters, and even picked up an achievement. When we got to Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium, we played Last Duel and Pnickies. Last Duel has some really wonky enemy placement, while I also ranked 56th in the world for Pnickies on a score challenge.

Starting writing the third short story based on Dragon Ball yesterday afternoon and found a way to tie it in with the first two stories written. Why do I always try to build some type of canon with what are obviously one shot tales?

Not surprised the Phillies Lost

Good afternoon everyone,

Well let's talk about the Phillies, one could say they simply ran out of steam, but I'll just say it out right, the offense became homer happy after game four with so many guys swinging for the fences (Hoskins most notably) after Game 3. The Bullpen did all they could and then some to keep things tight to give them a chance to win, but offense failed in big situation. I said Game 5 was must win for the Phillies, and that is the game in which the series was truly lost. 

That said, last night's stream featured a wide variety of things, starting with MultiVersus, as we played as Black Adam in 2 v 2 matches to get a feel for the character. He's certainly a bruiser, but he also acts as a light-tank, as he has a shield bubble of sorts and has a side-special that is kind of similar to what some of the Assassin class characters have. The new arcade mode is pretty basic, there are three variants (East, Medium, Hard) with the big difference between the three being how many chances you get if you fail and how many fights you have to do. We did two arcade runs, all fights are 1 v 1 player versus A.I., you get one 'nemesis' fight (for Harley it's against Batman, for Wonder Woman it's Superman) and then fight a giant version of Reindog. All wins and actions perform in arcade mode does count towards achievements and battle pass progress.

Messed around with Fall Guys, and they had a Doctor Who tie in, so I nabbed a couple of its related goodies which lead to an achievement unlocking, and played a few shows. Came real close to being on winning in squad shows, just had some bad luck.

Got in some Smite, and we played 5 matches, winning a couple and losing in grand fashion. Managed to get the second achievement for Ares done, so that was a positive. Also had an epic match as Terra, just a reminder of how I can use her in Arena mode just to provide healing on the front line once she gets powered up.

Closed out the stream with with some Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium, mostly Score Challenge stuff on a few games. As a reminder to anyone who was watching, yes I do indeed main Sakura in Street Fighter Alpha 3. Still it's gonna be a long road to grind out the last four achievements in this collection of arcade games.

Logitech Firmware Update Breaks Audio And Dragon Ball The Breaks Has No One Playing It

Good afternoon everyone,

Let's start with one of the annual pains in the ass that always rolls around whenever Logitech releases a firmware update for its G-Hub... it always... ALWAYS breaks how audio is captured in OBS and it's always a pain to fix, but this time I couldn't fix it with all my usual methods of unplugging and plugging the Elgato HD 60 S back in, it completely screwed with it. Not to mention, this latest Logitech firmware update also broke audio connection in Discord, Overwatch and the Xbox Desktop App on PC. As of this time, I still haven't gotten it fixed. In fact I spent a half hour on stream trying to fix it

Then there is Dragon Ball: The Breakers...which was something we've been playing over the past few weeks, but the long queue times was just getting ridiculous, most I ever saw was 6 at anyone time and I just said to hell with it an uninstalled it, live on stream. Turns out that the lack of cross-play is really hurting Dragon Ball: The Breakers because just a few weeks since launch there are barely 4000 players on the Steam version at any given time. That may seem like a lot, but it's not when you factor in that Dead by Daylight has 10 to 20 times that amount at any given time. Maybe we'll bring it back down the line if there is a major update, but I doubt it.

So we ended up bouncing around from game to game starting with Nickelodeon All-Stars Brawl doing two arcade mode runs, and one of which as the newest character in the game, Rocco from 'Rocco's Modern Life'. He's very floating, in fact much like Stripe over in MultiVersus, Rocco has an attack that can result in him plummeting to his death. The other arcade run was as Oblina from 'Ahhh! Real Monsters', and I actually increased the difficult for that, and if it wasn't for Powder Toast Man, I probably would've had a perfect run through it. Also picked up one achievement in this game

Nickelodeon All-Star Brawl Achievements

Next, we jumped over to Gears 5, and I totally forgot how to play it. We did a horde mode run and a quick Co-Op versus AI, noting major involved, just mindless fun.

Because I do have to put in serious time and grinding effort into Capcom Arcade 2nd Stardium, we spent some time playing that and getting myself on the scoreboard for a few different games. Was rather cool to see my scores for some stuff.

Lastly, we played some Smite, just doing a couple of challenges, lost both matches, but hey, people saw me play as Thor and as Ares, the later of which resulted in me getting an achievements.

Zach Wheeler got lit up for 5 runs in the Phillies 5-2 loss to the Astros, and like Aaron Nola I think Wheeler is basically cooked. Remember, both pitched in one more series than the Astros starters have and it is starting to show. But, the series is tied 1-1, and the Phillies have home field advantage... so maybe things will work out in their favor for the next three games at Citizens Bank Park.

Started work on the Until Dawn commissioned short story, getting the intro done, and I have a good idea for the ending, just the meat of the story will take a bit of figuring out.

Tekken 7 Has an Impossible Achievement

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream of Tekken 7 was certainly objective focused as we went after nearly every single achievement, starting with having to face and defeat Devil Kazumi. Oddly enough the requirements to face her involved not getting a perfect round in any match.  My attention then turned to the Treasure Battles where I accomplished several achievements including getting promoted to Warrior as Kazuya. Exploiting some of the A.I.'s tendencies helped here

Now getting to fight in Special Matches in Treasure Battle involved a lot of 'luck', as every after 3-4 win either gimmick match (Turbo Speed or Double Damage) or a special boss fight appears, so it was literally just win and hope a match happens... plus hope it was someone I could beat. Thankfully the 'Special Matches' ended up being against Jin, which isn't as tough as the other possible opponents (Akuma, Devil Kazuya, Heihachi  and Devil Kazumi)

After intentionally going into Practice Mode to farm out the damage needed for one last achievement, I realized the only one left involved winning a battle in an online tournament. Problem is, good like finding 7 people to take part in a tournament, plus hoping you can beat one of them in the front round. So as it stands, I'm declaring the 'Okay! I'm Ready!' achievement as not being possible for me to obtain.  

That said, we did reach get the most out of Tekken 7. so we'll be moving on from it to focus on other things. We'll probably put another fighting game in it's place.

In the world of Fantasy Baseball, one of my teams won the 5th Place Playoff series, and the other didn't. So I have a 5th and 6th Place finish for two different teams. However in the world of Fantasy Football both of my teams lost this week.  

Got in some grinding on Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium last night using Savage Bees and the face you get 500,000 points when clearing stage 16. Managed to knock out 1,000,000 CAPSO, so only 69 Million to go.

Also played a bit of MultiVersus, mostly focused on doing daily quests to work on the battle pass grind. Thank goodness these things can be done via bot matches. 

Already know work is going to suck because of the assignment I'm going to be on. Can only hope I'll be able to switch to something else in order to get a chance to be productive.

I'm moving some items around for my streaming line up this week, The Last of Us Remastered will be featured tonight, because hey if I start at 6:30 PM Eastern and go to 10:30 / 11 PM Eastern, we'll have a tolerable time spent trying to move forward in that game. I think I'll treat it as a 'floating game', moving it around the week based on my mood.

So if I'm playing The Last of Us Remastered tonight, will that mean I'll play it also on Friday? Nope, I plan to start up Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight on Friday because at the very least trying to beat a rhythm game will be a lot more fun than dealing with the awful controls of The Last of Us.

MultiVersus and Arcade Games

Good afternoon everyone

Last night's stream marked the 7th consecutive stream without any internet issues, let that streak continue. And speaking of streak, we got off to a hot one in MultiVersus last night winning five matches in a row right off the bat. Of course I was lucky to get randomly teamed with some folks who clearly know how to play so as I was doing my thing of switching from character to character, I was basically being carried at times. I freely admit that. Also reached the point in the Battle Pass where I unlocked Harley Quinn's Task Force X attire, which is pretty cool looking.

Did get one achievement in MultiVersus last night, leaving only eight left to get, but they are mostly 'grind' related in terms of performing certain actions, winning and being in a 'party' a certain amount of times.

• Catch This: Get 50 Ringouts with a Projectile

Now we didn't spend the entire night on MultiVersus, we switched over to Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium to mess around with a few different games... and to get my name on the ranked leader boards. Rather funning that my 1 hour plus time on Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo is 23rd overall... the time in 22nd place was 36 minutes. Talk about a huge gap in skill.

There was a weird game that we did play in CA2S called Pnickies which never saw a release outside of Japan back in 1994. It is a puzzle game where you have to link blobs together and they are only cleared when they have two 'star' shaped things in them. Took me a minute to realize exactly how the game worked, but I can see myself looking into trying to 'get good' at it.

Actually come to think of it... Pnickies plays a lot like Dr. Robotonik's Mean Bean Machine and Poyo Poyo.

A New Week With New Things

Good afternoon everyone,

Last night's stream of Overwatch featured a fair amount of wins and losses, with some being a little more dubious than others. Did nab three Plays of the Game all as D.va, and we were joined by PandaSweet for several matches, which is always awesome. Characters I used last night included obviously D.va and Moira, put also Orissa, Torbjourn, Ashe and Soldier 76.

Of course we are three weeks away from the launch of Overwatch 2, and there is a question over when the servers for Overwatch will shut down on October 2nd. If they are being shut down late in the night, that would be great which means we'll get one last stream of old school Overwatch before the change over.

Finished the Commission request for a Resident Evil 5 story, and now I have one fir another story based on Spider-Man for the PS4 one to feature the Black Cat... which is going to be tough because a) I revealed what I was planning.... and b) Black Cat does not appear in the original game of Spider-Man for the PS4, and no one has done transcripts of its DLC.

I am considering starting up the Remastered version of The Last of US for the PS4 on Friday... of course another contender is Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight. We'll see what I am end up deciding.

So How Does One Finish The Mayor For A Day Quest In Fallout 76?

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream of Fallout 76 was an adventure... as the entire first 30 minutes was spent just chatting because we had to wait for the a 63 GB update because of the new 'The Pit' Expansion, which meant I ended up talking about a lot of things at random..Once the game was ready, we set about knocking out many of the daily quests, plus made serious progress in the Sofia's story arc, plus other random main story quests. 

Big shout out to Iceman for being apart of the fun, as we set to work on trying to complete the Mayor for a Day quest which we started last week, and we made it to the last thing that which was to upload the Robo Virus... and the problem is way too many enemies spawned and overwhelmed us. I wonder if because we were grouped it lead to more enemies appearing. I did look into this, and found there is apparently a spot where someone can hide to avoid the enemies and just have to wait for five minutes. I'll test that theory first chance I get.

Did faced down a Scorch Beast as part of the Heart of the Enemy side quest, and that got a little tense to say the least. Was glad to nab the achievement for that!

The Grind to 100 Million CASPO in Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium continued off-stream last night, as I'm up to 22,814,697, knocking out about 10 Million over the course of 2 and a half hours using my save on a perfect run of Super Gem Fighters Mini Mix and taking advantage of the fact that fighting games in this collection get bonus CASPO this week.

Now while I was doing that grind... I watch the Nintendo Direct and Sony State Of Play from earlier this week. The only thing that caught my attention was the Fist of the North Star Fitness Boxing game for the Switch, that looks like it could be awesome. Now it's getting a Japan only release in December... but the World Wide release will be in the spring. 

Oh and Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout featured Difficult Challenge Combo #1, Intermediate Combo #1 and Biceps Shape Focus Combo for 34 minutes.

With the announcement of Tekken 8, it probably would behoove men to finally play Tekken 7 and mess around with that.  Probably at some point should grab the Xbox 360 versions of Tekken 6 and Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

Added the new Saints Row and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cowabunga Collection to the digital libray on the Xbox side of things. We'll feature the TMNT collection on Saturday's stream.

What a weird night....

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream of had a weird start as all of the sudden I started having frame drops and a connection issue, and I think it was caused by Steam near as I can tell. This did meant the plan the of starting off with Star Trek Online didn't exactly happen the way I wanted. But we did check out the one new mission... which is basically a glorified tutorial for the new Task Force Operation which takes place inside of the mirror version of V'Ger. The new 'episode' was solid as it advanced the plot, but Wil Weaton's performance as 'Emperor Wesley Crusher' left a lot to be desired. Did like how Admiral Leeta tried to save the day herself, and how the mirror counterpart of my character realized what 'Emperor Crusher' is doing is fucking nuts.

Of course now we're going to wait like probably 4 months for the next episodes, because historically, Star Trek Online has not had any new missions debut in October, November or December going back several years. Which forever compounds STO's problem of not having enough content to justify being heavily invested in it.

Anyway, we did play Capcom Arcade 2nd Stardium, and saw that the fighting games are getting the CAPSO bonus this week. After the stream, I did do what I aid I was going to do and grind out a bunch of CAPSO, currently sitting at 12,200,000... only need 98,000,000 more to get the Class 20 achievement, but I did knock out the Class 10 one. Also during the stream placed a couple of time trials for Street Fighter Alpha 2 and Vampire Savior, being in the top 20 and top 10 respectively

Also played Fall Guys, and managed to actually win an episode via being in a random squad. Did have a rough go of it on a number of things, in particular the Roll On race I had a lot of problems with. We were joined by PandaSweet for some fun as well, which is always a treat!

Work was absolute torture yesterday... because it started off incredibly well... but the last couple of hours just dragged. At least I hit my personal target goals for the day. But then I saw I'm basically being screwed today.

So Much Progress In Fallout 76

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream of Fallout 76 was kind of all over the place in terms of what I was doing, but there was progress made in the Steel Dawn story arc (Where you pick a side after a long quest of dealing with an A.I. that unleashes all sorts of scorched creatures... including a Mothman), as well as making some headway as it relates to exploring the South East part of the map and  progress on the Astronaut Companion story. The only thing I didn't do was really push forward on the main story quest. 

Ammo continues to be a concerned, but I did look up the ideal of having the ammo-smith perk and it's corresponding Level 50 Super Perk to craft more when I have the resources. So hopefully I'll be able to keep myself fully stocked.

Big thanks to Iceman for being apart of the fun, it's been a while since he was in the main world, so we're going to have to work on getting his quests done.

Last night's stream saw no issues, not even frame drops, so that's good... maybe everything truly has been fixed by Xfinity. Speaking of which I got Xfinity's second rebuttal to the FCC regarding the issues I had, and once again the person handling the case included wrong information as it wasn't they who reached out to me last Thursday, it was another one of their colleagues.

From what I'm seeing, Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix is the best game in Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium to grind for CAPSO,... I pretty much went through that game and perfected every round of all eight matches to get the maximum score. From what I can tell but using the re-load rewinding 45 times will get the maximum CAPSO score. Which means

Really need to just sit down a write out the back-half of the commissioned fic based on the Spider-Man PS4 game... I have the intro and set up done.  

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout a 28 minuet workout with Left-Right Step Combo, Hook Combo #2 and Beginner Combo #1. Today we fulfilled the requirements for the Laura's Champion EX Achievement, so now our focus will be on Evan.

Thoughts on the first half(ish) of Murdered: Soul Suspect

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream featured the 2014 game Murdered: Soul Suspect... and I'll be upfront, yes I was using a guide because it was made real clear early on that some of the puzzles and collectables were going to be real pain to deal with. That said, I did enjoy the visual look, sound design and over overall presentation of the game. It's kind of like a low-key Resident Evil, sure there some 'enemies' you have to deal with, but for the most part it's all about just finding clues to piece the overall story together. 

I found Ronin to be a decent protagonist as a cop who was killed by a serial killer and now has to solve his own murder while being from beyond the grave. A lot of the NPCs are interesting, some having side stories to be resolved, or just commenting on the situation when possessed. In fact there is a nice little line about "What is that game about the girl who raids tombs', which of course refers to Tomb Raider... which is no longer owned by Square Enix.

If there is one big draw back is that I've never been a fan of stealth mechanics, and dealing with the 'Demons' to get them into position to take them out from behind seems clunky at best. Granted I've only seen like 6 or 7 so far, but it's the one part of the game I don't care for.

Near as I can tell I covered about half the game last night. Currently, it's slated to be featured on Monday stream, where we may have an outside shot of finishing it... depending on how long it takes me to find the remaining collectables along the way. We might play it safe and start early that day. We'll see.

Another big night of Overwatch

Good afternoon everyone,

Last night's stream of Overwatch a lot of fun, granted because most of the time we won... in fact we ended on a stretch of winning 8 out of the last 10 matches played. Big thank you to PandaSweet for being apart of the fun for nearly the entire night! Picked up three Plays of the Game, two as D.va and one as Torbjourn. Other characters used were Reinhardt, Mei & Junkrat.

There was one really weird match where some how none of my attacks hit anyone on the opposing team even with me being right up on them. 

Of course we're less than a month away from the start of Overwatch 2 for everyone, but I kind of wonder what achievements are being carried over from the first game to the other. And when will cross progression kick in to see how that fully tracks.

Look I enjoy... some... of what Justin Wong does over on his YouTube channel, but as much as the guy is a legend in the Fighting Game Community, the fact every single thumbnail for each of his videos is just pure click bait that never delivers on the expectations.

I would like to point out that whoever writes the wiki profiles for the Attack on Titan fandom really did a bad job of giving an idea of what the personalities of those characters are like. Combine that with having two ideas on how to write the story and I ended up with one of the weakest efforts I've done since getting back into writing on a semi-regular basis.

Also picked up another commission request, this time based around the Spider-Man PS4 game and featuring Yuriko Watanabe... problem is, I have not yet played that game, It's on the list however... but for the short story, I'll have to piece things together based on what I can learn. 

To grind out the 100 hours play time achievement in Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium, I'm going to basically use the fact that Savage Bees is 'endless', enable invincibility, and use the broken controller method I did with Vulgus in the original Capcom Arcade Stadium. Is it a cheap exploit... oh you bet it is. Speaking of Exploits, the save state feature might be used heavily with Son Son to grind out the 100,000,000 CAPSO.

Albert Pujols hit his 695th home run yesterday... just how much pressure will there be on the Cardnials to give him every possible at-bat for him to get to 700?
