So How Does One Finish The Mayor For A Day Quest In Fallout 76?

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream of Fallout 76 was an adventure... as the entire first 30 minutes was spent just chatting because we had to wait for the a 63 GB update because of the new 'The Pit' Expansion, which meant I ended up talking about a lot of things at random..Once the game was ready, we set about knocking out many of the daily quests, plus made serious progress in the Sofia's story arc, plus other random main story quests.

Big shout out to Iceman for being apart of the fun, as we set to work on trying to complete the Mayor for a Day quest which we started last week, and we made it to the last thing that which was to upload the Robo Virus... and the problem is way too many enemies spawned and overwhelmed us. I wonder if because we were grouped it lead to more enemies appearing. I did look into this, and found there is apparently a spot where someone can hide to avoid the enemies and just have to wait for five minutes. I'll test that theory first chance I get.

Did faced down a Scorch Beast as part of the Heart of the Enemy side quest, and that got a little tense to say the least. Was glad to nab the achievement for that!

Thank you to the chat for kicking in 100 bits last night! The support is always appreciated!

For the raid we dropped in on x9abenonymous9x who was playing The Evil Within over at twitch.tv/x9abenonymous9x

Oh should note that yesterday was completely incident free, if there

I was right yesterday's assignment for work fucking sucked, and best (or worst) part is because a bunch of newbies started interviews but left them in state

Hear about the poor Easter egg who fell off a counter? He dyed!

Did you know the first French fries weren't cooked in France? They were cooked in Greece!

What do carb-loving zombies eat? Graaaaaaaains.

The Grind to 100 Million CASPO in Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium continued off-stream last night, as I'm up to 22,814,697, knocking out about 10 Million over the course of 2 and a half hours using my save on a perfect run of Super Gem Fighters Mini Mix and taking advantage of the fact that fighting games in this collection get bonus CASPO this week.

Now while I was doing that grind... I watch the Nintendo Direct and Sony State Of Play from earlier this week. The only thing that caught my attention was the Fist of the North Star Fitness Boxing game for the Switch, that looks like it could be awesome. Now it's getting a Japan only release in December... but the World Wide release will be in the spring.

Oh and Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout featured Difficult Challenge Combo #1, Intermediate Combo #1 and Biceps Shape Focus Combo for 34 minutes.

With the announcement of Tekken 8, it probably would behoove men to finally play Tekken 7 and mess around with that.  Probably at some point should grab the Xbox 360 versions of Tekken 6 and Tekken Tag Tournament 2.

Added the new Saints Row and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles Cowabunga Collection to the digital libray on the Xbox side of things. We'll feature the TMNT collection on Saturday's stream.

For tonight's stream, we're back to looking for more side quests and things in FInal Fantasy XIV!

Mass Effect 3 For the 360 Is Done... We Did The Destroy Ending

Good morning everyone,

Well last night's stream was epic, as we started at 5 PM Eastern in order to make sure we finished Mass Effect 3 which we did at about 10:30 PM Eastern... but we ended up extending the stream to mess around with the MultiPlayer and actually got an extra achievement, Unwavering. Now I have done 5 of the 6 multiplayer maps on Gold difficulty... problem was I didn't know which 5... but with lucky I got the last one needed for it! So woo-hoo!

In terms of the main campaign of Mass Effect 3, we opened with roaming around the Citadel doing all the character interactions related to the Shore Leave as well as throwing the epic party. Still love all little details like Wrex needing an ice-pack, Miranda and Jack's tension, the allegations that Shepard can't dance and so forth.

I was 'lucky' to get the 'Hijacker' achievement, because there were two mechs on the Cerberus base... first attempt resulted in me getting killed, 2nd attempt I thought it glitched when I tried to enter it... 3rd attempt saw Garrus blow up the mech... then I said to hell with... and saw there was a second mech a little further into the mission. Thankfully I was able to get the achievement on that one.

With that achievement out of the way, it was pretty much business as usual, finish off Kai Leng and Ceberus, then the liberation of Earth from the reapers. I took Javik on those final two ground mission on Earth because it just seemed fitting, plus I did get a little kick about seeing him protest about leaving.

Now why did I do the Destroy ending when I normally do the Synthesis ending. Well since I've been dedicating time to the Multiplayer... and really put in the effort on the Galaxy at War to have galatic readiness at 100%, basically it's just to show 'Shepard Lives'. Since this run of Mass Effect 3 was the 360 version, the requirements for Shepard living are much more difficult than the Legendary Edition

So what's left for me in Mass Effect 3 are two achievements... one is for getting 5,000 kills and we ended the night having a count of over 3700. I know if I start multiplayer maps on bronze, I can get 50 to 75 before someone joins or I get over whelmed. The other one involves finishing Mass Effect 3 on Insanity Difficulty... which I'm not too keen on attempting. Still don't be surprised if I do more Mass Effect 3 streams based around the multiplayer to get the kill count achievement.

Mass Effect 3 Achievements

  • Perfect Host: Throw a party for your friends.
  • Hijacker: Hijack an Atlas mech.
  • Executioner: Defeat an old adversary.
  • Patriot: Make the final assault.
  • Legend: Mission accomplished.
  • Long Service Medal: Complete Mass Effect 3 twice, or once with a Mass Effect 2 import.
  • Unwavering: Finish all multiplayer maps on Gold or all single-player missions on Insanity.

FnDanteSavage was streaming this morning playing Tormented Souls over on twitch.tv/fndantesavage!

Since I'm keeping track of everything Xfinity related, last night's stream did have one interruption at 822 PM, but it rebounded a lot faster than it was in recent months, but we did see some frame drops as well.

Realm Royale finally got achievements implemented to it, which means a number of things I managed to accomplish became instantly unlocked which I loaded it onto one of my Xbox consoles. Woo-Hoo! Realm Royale: Reforged Achievements

  • Knife Edge Death Match: Eliminate an enemy player with your dagger.

More Mass Effect 3 Fun

Good morning everyone,

Well last night's stream was the first stream in a while where there were no issues, no frame drops and no partial disconnects! I didn't get an update from Xfinity yet to see what they discovered, but the next concern will be this afternoon with work! Of course I would get a call this morning from Xfinity asking about the service, but since I was not given any updated information regarding what I was told yesterday, I made sure to tell them I'm waiting for information from their Senior Tech.

Anyway, during the stream of Mass Effect 3 last night we covered everything related to the Quarians and the Geth... and thankfully I did not screw up during my play through of Mass Effect 2 to make neither side was sacrificed. We also knocked out the final two N7 missions to get its related achievement, and also tackled the Thessia mission, making sure to bring Javik along in order to have him take the piss out of everything Liara says by pointing out the Protheans involvement in the ascension of the Asari.  Not to mention, completed the checklist for all the searchable items around the galaxy.

With all that done, it sets up tonight's stream quite perfectly, with the mission to Horizon and Sanctuary to save Miranda and her sister, not to mention deal with what Cerberus is up too... plus also start the Clone Saga portion of the Citadel DLC, which will be a lot of fun.

On a side note, I swapped out slam for flare, which is an option after doing Omega... and I thought it was bad ass with Aria used it, but leveling it up for it to do extreme damage is such a sight to see! Wonder if it's available in the multiplayer side of the game? Speaking of which, the road to 5000 kills currently stands at 2147.

Mass Effect 3 Achievements

  • Party Crasher: Sabotage a dreadnought.
  • Saboteur: Disable a group of fighter squadrons.
  • Hard Target: Call down an orbital strike.
  • Last Witness: Extract ancient technology.
  • Tour of Duty: Finish all multiplayer maps or all N7 missions in single-player.

A Square-Enix Kind of Saturday

Good morning everyone,

Well one could say that last night was a Square-Enix kind of Saturday, as we split the stream between Life is Strange Remasterd and Final Fantasy XIV. Why did we do that? Well because I wanted to make sure FFXIV was included in this week's featured content, plus the pacing of Life is Strange would have meant an awkward split-stream on Monday.

Anyway, Episode 3 of Life is Strange, Chaos Theory, is of course the one episode everyone knows since it features when you gave have Max kiss Chloe, plus the entire pool scene and where Max goes back in time to change history so that Chloe's dad lives... but Chloe ends up being paralyzed. One minor change may result in some positives, but other wise things could get really... really screwy. Since we're going in hard with the Max supporting Chloe route, that did mean basically tearing David down during the breakfast scene.

Of course, there was one thing you would have noticed in that I constantly say most of the stuff that happens to Chloe is her own fault, and that is basically true, because she could have accepted that things happen and to try and cope, but she never does. This fact really gets driven home in Before the Storm, particularly if you try and have Chloe make an effort instead of being the whiny woe-is-me drama queen she actually is. Don't get me wrong, I like the pairing of Max and Chloe... BUT... let's be honest, there's a reason why quite a few people choose Arcadia Bay over her and it is justified.

As far as the Final Fantasy XIV half of the stream goes, we mostly did things related to Wondrous Tails, doing a couple of big raids, trials and other stuff. I briefly thought about doing MSQ related stuff but decided against it mostly because of how much dead air there would have been because of cut scenes (voiced and non-voiced). Did discover I did not have the Extreme versions of Trials unlocked related to Stormblood, the Resistance Weapons Quests that apparently adds another area to explore, which would make for some interesting content once I'm done with Endwalker.

For last night's raid we sent the fun over to GGVexy who was doing a Community Appreciation Stream with giveaways while playing Stardew Valley!  They stream over on twitch.tv/ggvexy

Life is Strange Remastered Achievements

  • Parallax View: Take optional photo #1 in Episode 3: Chaos Theory

The estimated calorie burn for this set was 450 kcal. I did an addition 20 minutes to finish off the requirements for Janice's Champion, which mean's progress towards King EX Fighter is at 88%. My attention will now shift to the Hiro's Champion achievement, we already have at least 30 hours with Hiro as the trainer.

Fitness Boxing 2 Rhythm & Exercise EX Achievements

  • Janice's Champion: Train With Janice for Over 50 Hours

Now way I figure this week will certainly see the wrap up of a few things, with Life is Strange Remastered finished on Monday's stream with Episode 4 & 5, Gears 5: Hivebusters finished on Wednesday, and then Life is Strange: Before the Storm being featured on Thursday and Saturday with it's 3 episodes plus the bonus Farewell Episode. This will more than likely open the doors for the weekly line up to get back to what it was last year with a more stable lineup of a major feature. We shall see how true that becomes.

Jumped into Battletoads earlier this morning to knock out some achievements, which was nearly every one I could do single player that did not involve finding collectables.

Battletoads Achievements

  • The Dlala Code: Entered the Dlala Code during the credits.
  • Blink and You'll Miss It: Defeated 25 pink eyeballs during 'Time For Plan B'.
  • Mementoads: Took a picture with Axeley's standee.
  • Take This, Axeman!: Used spit to keep Axeley's weapon stuck in the ground.
  • Hey, This is a Rental!: Scored 75 near-misses while riding a rented Turbo bike.
  • Warped Sense of Humor: Hit the fake 'Warp Wall' during Nightmare Rider.
  • Not Just for the Holidays: Landed a streak of 15 hits destroying a totem.

A new week begins, but let's check out my favorite clips from this past week which featured: Overwatch, Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe, Paladins, Capcom Arcade Stadium, Forza Horizon 4, Gears 5, Life is Strange Remastered, Kingdom Hearts III and Final Fantasy XIV!

For tonight's stream, well you know what day it is... it's Sunday which means Overwatch! We'll be going after the Auspicious Soldier skin for Soldier 76!

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

Lara Rises Again... Only To Fall In The Snow!

Good morning everybody,

Well a new day dawns on us, following a night where Lara Croft was stumbling around in the snow.

Yes, indeed we started up Rise of the Tomb Raider last night, a boy was it a bit confusing in regards to how some abilities were being unlocked and when, as the prologue certainly lasted longer than I thought and the big reveal a good portion of what I playing may be told from a flash back perspective. It seems that way at the very least. It seems Lara has kind of gone loony as she goes all-in following her father's foot steps which puts her in conflict with a fanatical religious group is look for the Divine Source, an relic that seems as if can grant immortality.

Gameplay wise, Rise of the Tomb Raider plays a lot like the first game, but we have the hindrance of snow and the added elements of swimming sections, which gives me flash backs to how swimming was a big deal in Tomb Raider II way back in the 90s. Collectables seems to be a lot easier to find, and there are some in-game perks to finding ancient coins to purchase various items.

I should talk about the micro-transactions Rise of the Tomb Raider has, because it's clear there were some pay to win mechanics going on, which I believe is part of the PVP mode... that sadly was a trend for a long time folks.

Anyway, in terms of where I am in the story, I figure I'm maybe one-third of the way through, if a list of chapters was any indications. With luck, this could be a three-nighter like the first game in the Survivor Trilogy... but I'm not counting on that!

Big thanks to Kalenal for the big raid after her stream of Stardew Valley! Kalenal streams over at twitch.tv/kalenal and plays a lot of Final Fantasy XIV!

Following the stream we sent the fun over to LifeWithStan who was playing Dark Souls III over at twitch.tv/lifewithstan!

Rise of the Tomb Raider Achievements

  1. Quite the Collector: Collect 150 cards
  2. Reading the Past: Translate one Monolith
  3. Following in Father's Footsteps: Enter the Syrian tomb of the Lost Prophet
  4. Quite A Tumble: Survive the avalanche
  5. Tougher Than She Looks: Survive a night in the Siberian wilderness

  7. Challenging: Complete any Challenge Tomb

My off-stream adventures of Final Fantasy XIV continued, first yesterday afternoon with the liberation of Doma and then seeing that Krile was captured by Zenos' goons... needless to say that jerk has a butt kicking coming his way! Also seeing Gosetsu go down was a big reminder of how Square Enix loves to create really likeable characters only to kill them off... I swear it's their revenge for those of us who found Aerith not worth a hill of beans in Final Fantasy VII.

Of course the Final Fantasy XIV adventures continued after the stream, as I continued the Main Story Quest up through The Silence of the Gods which mean another Primal fight, in perhaps one the most confusing ones I've seen that used a new element where a shield of sorts needed to be trigger to avoid mega AOEs. I will have to ask Kalenal about that in the future before facing the 'Extreme' version of it.

Finally was able to get a lead on Volumes 4-7 of Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex 2nd Gig, so hopefully I'll be able to add them to the collection to complete that series.

Really excited to do another run of Gears of War 4 starting on Wednesday, as it was the first Xbox One game I finished last year when I got the console. To go through it with Iceman is gonna be a lot of fun I bet!

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 Daily Workout featured Sway Back Combo, Straight Combo #2 and Hip Shape Focus Combo as the exercises for a duration of 31 minutes and an estimated calorie burn of 456 kcal.

I can confirm that I am off work next Thursday for Thanksgiving. Maybe we'll do a long stream that day.

Saw the trailer for Dragon Ball: The Breakers, and thank goodness it's not another re-telling of the Dragon Ball Z and Super series. Sure it looks like Dragon Ball's version of Dead By Daylight, but at least it's something different!

If Kyle Rittenhouse is found Not Guilty I will not blame anyone for being pissed, because that piece of shit went to Kenosha looking for trouble. In addition the judge is clearly racist and a Trump support whose bias was on full display.

For tonight's stream we will be continuing Rise of the Tomb Raider, and the only thing I can say for sure is that Lara Croft will again be face down in the snow!

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!

A New Week Begins

 Good morning everybody,

Last night's stream of Overwatch pretty fun in many ways while also proving my point about how you can't really trust other players on your team.

Case and point, there was a match where if I had any type of healing I feel as if I could've held the payload at bay because the opposing team really didn't have an answer for how I was using D.va's ultimate. So as I'm backing up to get healed, neither healer was proving the support needed to keep me in the fight. Now granted I had moments where I just pulled back because of questionable things I saw with initial approach to the objectives and what their intentions are.

That said I did have three Plays of the Game last night, two as D.va and one as Tracer. Also had a few good games as Mei and Moira throughout the night as well. I am not sure where people have issues with Mei, because Mei can be very effective at range like a McCree and can help control the objective. Granted wall placement is important as well.

Following the stream we did a random raid, sending folks over to PixiRini who was also playing Overwatch over at twitch.tv/pixirini, they were mostly playing ranked matches which is something I will not do on stream.

During the stream we got a raid from kenzalishus who was playing Stardew Valley. You can check out their content over at twitch.tv/kenzalishus!

Big thanks to LvStrkr for resubbing to the channel and for keeping their streak going of 30 months in a row! They now have the Squall Sub-Badge which subscribers can unlock for being subbed for 2.5 years.

Twitch Clip Links

Had a couple of fan fic ideas based around the MTV animated series Daria which aired in the late 1990s. Probably will keep them as short blurbs if I want to do anything in particularly with them. Already knocked out one based on the first official episode. Speaking of fics, was asked to do commission fic based on Harry Potter... and since i had trouble getting to sleep I knocked that out as well. Can't remember the last time I did two fics in a day. Anyway, both are up over on HF.

So the Phillies season has officially ended as they finished one game above five hundred, and the question becomes what do they need to make the playoffs next season. Well let's see they need a left fielder, a third baseman, a first baseman, an entire bullpen, and three quality starters... so with all that being needed, safe to say they won't make the playoffs in 2022, and I bet Joe Giradi will be fired by June.

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout lasted 34 minutes and featured Difficulty Challenge Combo #1, Difficult Challenge Combo #2 and Difficult Challenge Combo #3. Since unlocking those three exercise routines, I have not seen them paired up with other exercises, so I wonder if the Fitness Boxing 2 is programmed to keep certain sets together. Anyway the estimated calorie burn was 651 kcal... but I feel that could be higher as I had 14 OK actions and 1 missed.

For tonight's stream, our attention will turn to The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series,, which will continue our trend of playing games where choices matter towards the end results. Should be a lot of fun as we have played The Walking Dead games since the final episode of The Final Season game out.

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!
