Finished Duke Nukem Forever

Hi everyone,

Xfinity came by and discovered there was a neighborhood issue effected two different taps on the block, which just proves that I knew something was seriously wrong with my internet service.

Tonight's stream saw us finish Duke Nukem Forever, and it took about two hours to clear the final few chapters, and I had the most trouble with the Blowing the Dam chapter since it was underwater and having to realize where the air bubbles were. Overall it was a very straight forward, with some puzzles and realizing where the hell I needed to go. The ending is a bit odd as apparently Duke is killed, but I made sure to grab the General's arm as quick as possible... oh well.

Now I know there is DLC for Duke Nukem Forever, but I really have no interest in it at this time (doesn't help that I paid both August and November's property taxes for my house today, so the wallet is really thin at the moment). I did go back in after the stream to pick up a few achievements, which actually helps continue a current streak I'm on

With Duke Nukem finished, we went on to play Smite, winning one out of three arena matches and losing both assault matches, one of which was completely winnable. Oh well, at least I have another survey from Hi-Rez to look forward too.

Duke Nukem Forever Achievements

  • I Need a Towel: Get hit by 10 Pregnator bombs
  • Beating the One-Eyed Worm: Defeat the Energy Leech
  • Piece of Cake: Complete the SP campaign on Easy Difficulty
  • Special Thanks: Watch the credits all the way through
  • Party Animal: Drink all of the beers in the strip club
  • Lots of Whacking: Win a game of Alien Abortion in the strip club
  • Noms: Eat 10 pieces of food during the SP campaign

For the raid we visited misscammi316 who was also playing Smite over at twitch.tv/misscammi316

So the question becomes, do I put something new on Thursdays, or do I just continue with Gotham Knights and try to finish that as quickly as possible giving it three nights in a week as opposed to two? I mean I did consider BlazBlue Chrono Phantasma Extend going into the Thursday slot, as well as the next game in the Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Trilogy. We'll see what I end up decreeing.

Did get some writing done, and I'm pleased with the opening in using the Quarians hatred towards the Geth as justification for them pursuing Shepard.

Our next stream on SUnday night will feature Overwatch 2, just the usual grind for weekly challenges. I did play some Overwatch on PC this week, so I'm in a good spot to knock out quite a few.

So on that note we'll see you next time over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

No Objections In Finishing Phoenx Wright: Ace Attorney

Hi everyone,

Tonight's stream wrapped up around 10:50 PM Eastern, as we had another early start on a weeknight thanks to the July 4th Holiday, and we finished up Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney, making it the 28th came we've finished. Now ready all the dialog meant that my voice was really fading, granted I blame a lot of my vocal issues on dealing with Xfinity and my increasingly wonky internet at various times of the day, they are sending someone out on Sunday to cap the unused lines on the splitter.

Anyway, finishing Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney was a very straight forward, thanks to my notes from 2019, but I do remember a lot of the gripes I had with the 'Rise from the Ashes' case, in that unlike the four original cases, the court recorded ends up being bloated and remembering how much a pain it comes to remember what is relevant and what isn't..

Also everything be overly drawn out in final day of the trail really makes it tedious, plus it doesn't help one has to replay that particular case to get an achievement tied to lunch boxes given by Angel Starr. I'll worry about that down the road.

Not sure when we'll start the next game in the Trilogy, I'm tentatively considering it for July 15th. I also have the big conondrum for what to put on Mondays & Tuesdays.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy Achievements

  • Rise from the Ashes: Clear Ep. 5 of PW: AA.

For the raid we dropped in on misscammi316 during their stream of Smite over on twitch.tv/misscammi316

Our next stream is scheduled for 9:30 PM Eastern on Wednesday night with more Resident Evil 6 fun with Iceman as we continued Chris's Campaign. With luck we can knock out chapters 3 and 4! As a back up alternate, I'll have Forza Horizon 5 on standby.

Had to get some additional groceries, ran out of milk, so I took it as an opportunity to make sure I'm covered in other areas in terms of good.

With Friday the 13th The Game shutting down in 2024, the developers are doing a major patch to unlock and max out everything for players. I think we'll do a stream focused on Friday the 13th The Game to give it a casual review.

Finished up the first of July's commission requests for a WWE story... and the next one is... also a WWE story...  grrr...

Anyway on that note we'll see you next time over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

Completed Terminator Resistance

Hi everyone,

Tonight's stream ended at about 10:30 PM Eastern after we finished Terminator: Resistance, which took a little less than four hours to do, getting all of the achievements, making it a game not only finished but completed. I have to say once Terminator Resistance gets to where it's basically prologue / prequel to the first two Terminator movies (Aka the only good Terminator movies), it really finds its pacing with the story and the action set pieces, while also making good use of the iconic music from Terminator 2: Judgement Day.

Since we earned all the achievements, I do have to say, Terminator: Resistance is actually a good game worth completing since everything is doable in a single play through, as nearly every achievement is story related with some things clearly things you have to go out of your way for (like unlocking a door that you can walk around). I do stand by part of what I said last week about this game being mediocre and how it gets good in its second half.

Now thing is, I really have no reason to revisit Terminator: Resistance in the future, because it's expanded content is exclusive to the PlayStation 4 & PlayStation 5 versions of the game for some strange reasons. Still glad I played it... now what will replace it in the line up... that's a good question, but our next stream on Tuesday night will feature Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney as we aim to wrap that up! That stream will begin at about 6:30 PM Eastern

Terminator Resistance Achievements

  • Second Generation: Obtain Skynet security codes from a fallen HK Tank.
  • I'll be Back: Complete the game on any difficulty level.

For the raid we dropped in on Kalenal who was playing Legend of the Zelda: Breath of the Wild over on at twitch.tv/kalenal

Ran into a bit of writers block in regards to one of the commission story requests I have in progress. But I think I have an idea of how to knock that out quickly to move onto the next one.

With Star Trek: Resurrgences two broken achievements being fixed, I went back and completed and off-line play-through getting all the alternate achievements. We'll eventually replay it on stream because there is some gnarly stuff that happens with different choices being made.

Didn't really eat much at all today, had some left overs from Sunday and a can of pasta.

So on that note we'll see you next time over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

I forgot how long episode 5 of Ace Attorney really is...

Hi everyone,

Tonight's stream ended a bit after 12:15 AM, with it being a  weekend stream we can start at a reasonable time, we certainly got a lot done as it relates to the fifth case in Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney, 'Rise from the Ashes', as we only got up to the the end of the Trial on Day 3. Now one would assume that would put us in the home stretch to finish it during the stream... however the final push on the trail gets very long and wordy with a lot of presenting of evidence... which makes me glad I still have all my notes from 2019.

This actually works out in terms of me planning out streams for this upcoming week, as we can resume and finish Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney on Tuesday's stream since we can start early that day because of the July 4th holiday. Which means we'll be finishing two games this week, with Terminator Resistance being wrapped up on Monday stream (if all goes as planned) . This really helps out as it relates to next Saturday with my cousin coming over for some fun and games!

For the raid we dropped in on jaxdungeon who was also playing the Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Trilogy over at twitch.tv/jaxdungeon

Got some writing done during the afternoon for one story commission while having another one come through via Subscribestar... which is another WWE related one... (sigh), hey at least it contributes to extra funds being earned.

Picked up some minor groceries, mostly for lunch and breakfast related things, plus trying to get things from Acme as oppose to Shop Rite for a cost difference.

Also order some take out, a cheese steak and mozzarella sticks for dinner... it was quite good and nice treat after making most of my own meals all week

Out next stream will over on twitch.tv/fredcasden will feature Overwatch 2, grinding out at daily and weekly challenges to gain levels in the battle pass. Voice chat will be via Discord for all team-ups. Planned start time is 7 PM

Hope you all have a great night!

Beyond Two Souls Certainly Has It's Choices

Hi everyone,

Tonight's stream ended at 12:50 AM, and if you're wondering why so early, it's because we had a normal start time thanks to the July 4th holiday on Tuesday giving me a 5 day weekend. Now we finished Beyond: Two Souls and I have some mixed feelings on it, as the story certainly takes some leaps in logic to make it a standard hypocritical United States military plot which kind of takes away from the overall game.

See way I figure, Beyond: Two Souls peaks with the Navajo chapter which is the last chapter that has Jodie actually helping people with her abilities, and it, along with the Homeless chapters are where Beyond: Two Souls shines... and anything involving the CIA is where this game becomes dull and stereotypical. In fact the second Jodie finds a kid in 'The Mission', you can basically see the tragedy that's going to happen and it really takes the wind out of the sails of the game. Then there is the whole invading a Chinese base, the Condenser problems and Dawkins going insane to be with his deceased family again... in my opinion Beyond Two Souls's story falls apart in its third act.

Gameplay wise I do feel it's better than Heavy Rain in someways, but doesn't have as good camera angles. Will I play it again? Yes, because a) I need to do a co-op play through at some point and b)  there are more trophies to unlocked. I finished with 40% of the trophies unlocked, so at least two more play throughs are needed.

On a side note it was nice having a stream start and end at a reasonable time!

Beyond: Two Souls Trophies

  • Sorry: Forgave Jodie's father.
  • Not Just Sand: Ran from the sandstorm and took less than 3 hits.
  • Medicine Girl: Successfully performed the entire ritual.
  • Never Alone: Started at least one romance.
  • In Love with Ryan: Slept with Ryan.
  • Stealth Master: Made it to the cathedral without being spotted.
  • Eye for an Eye: Didn't speak during the interrogation.
  • Almost Too Easy: Went to the containment shield with the General.
  • The End: One possible reality has been uncovered...
  • Black Sun Down: Deactivated the Black Sun.
  • Chose Life: Stayed in reality.

For the raid we dropped in on ZoneSama who was playing Sonic Origins over on twitch.tv/zonesama

Got in touch with Kristi who helped my buddy Dax write a massive story which was really good.

As far as my writing goes, since I don't follow modern-day WWE I have to go with a very generic route and tie it in with some tropes that I've used. It's a commission request from a consistent client so i have to push it through

Our next stream on Saturday, will star around 6 PM or 7 PM Eastern as we'll focus on Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy to finish the first game in the saga. I forget how long the fifth episode of the first game, because I know the cases that weren't in the original versions of the games end up being real long.

So on that note, we'll see you over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!

Back in Court With Phoenix Wright

Hi everyone,

We finished tonight's stream a little after midnight, finishing episode 3 and 4 of Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney (which is game one in the trilogy), and by the standards of the original release of the game we finished it... but considering Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney has been re-released numerous times over the years, a fifth episode was added, so we're not listing it as a finish game on this year's tour just yet.

Now the fourth case, which is focused on the backstory of Phoenix, Larry and Edgeworth certainly explains a lot of why Edgeworth and Phoenix are the way they are, while also giving an over the top final 'boss' to defeat in Von Karma, which I know leads to the debut of another character (I forget her name, but I remember they have green hair and a whip).

Now with all the dialog, we're certainly keeping the Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Trilogy on Saturday nights, because each episodes get more elaborate and detailed. In fact if memory serves me right the fifth episode that was added to PW:AA might take two full streams itself to complete!

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy Achievements

  • Turnabout Samurai: Clear Ep. 3 of PW: AA.
  • Secret Weapons Three: Borrow all of Gumshoe's secret weapons. (PW: AA, Ep. 4)
  • Turnabout Goodbyes: Clear Ep. 4 of PW: AA.

For the raid we dropped in on Kalenal during their stream of Final Fantasy XIV over at twitch.tv/kalenal, it's always good to drop in on folks I know!

Spent a lot of time yesterday thinking about mom... really really missed her. Had this sinking feeling in my gut all day.

Got some writing done on the Mass Effect short story commission, I hope to have it finish before work on Monday, unfortunately, someone wants a WWE based on current stuff, which I'm clearly not paying attention too.

Our next stream will begin around 7 PM on Sunday night, with Overwatch 2 being our focuse. I already completed the Season 5 battle pass, so now we're looking to grind towards the various titles.

So on that note we'll see you next time over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!

Beyond Two Souls is Really Good

Hi everyone,

We wrapped up the stream about 1:30 AM, and I'm really enjoying Beyond Two Souls. Way I figure we reached the half way point of the game, and despite the wonky controls as it relates to having the use the motion axis of the PS4 controller, I'm glad there is a setting for things to be forgiving regarding the quick time events.

I have to say, Elliot Page does a fantastic job portraying the character of Jodie, really making me feel invested in the seemingly random order of the game's chapters. While there is an option to play the game in chronological order, the original intent was to have things jump around, to really show just how wild Jodie's life is, which actually work for this game's benefit.

Now, Beyond Two Souls was released in 2013... and I wonder how much of an influence it was on Stranger Things, because there are some major parallels and tone that makes me think the creators of Stranger Things was adapted from the game, particular in regards Jodie and Eleven's powers.

I'm really looking forward to finishing our first play through next Friday (June 30th)!

 Beyond: Two Souls Trophies

  • Somebody Else?: Played as Aiden for the first time.
  • Obedience: Stopped the experiment voluntarily.
  • Clean Job: Shut down the monitor and finished the mission using only Aiden.
  • Perfect Soldier: Completed most of the physical training successfully.
  • Fight Apprentice: Won every fight whilst taking less than 5 hits.
  • Stealth Apprentice: Completed all stealth training without being spotted
  • Catch Me if You Can: Escaped the train without being arrested.
  • Portal Shutdown: Successfully shut down the condenser portal.
  • Money to Eat: Earned enough money to have some chocolate during dinner.
  • Miracles: Looked after Tuesday's baby, healed Jimmy and channeled Stan.
  • Smart Thief: Deactivated the supermarket's camera.
  • Entities Master: Was victorious in every battle with the evil entities.
  • Entities Apprentice: Vanquished the entities with Aiden.

For the raid we dropped in randomly on xlunagoddess who was also playing Beyond Two Souls over on twitch.tv/xlunagoddess

Work yesterday was really good, and hopefully the assignment was closed out. Speaking of work, Monday to Friday's streams will all start at 9:30 PM Eastern because I'm picking up extra hours on Monday.

Our next stream later today is scheduled to begin at 7 PM and we got Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy on the docket. We might start early depending on when I have dinner and how much writing I get done.

So on that note we'll see you next time over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

Just Being An Ace Attorney

Hi everyone,

Just finished tonight's stream at about 12:30 AM, featuring Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy, and yes I again made the mistake of choosing to read all the dialog out loud, and with a stream that went over six hours. It still strikes me as odd that Capcom didn't do voice work for visual novel at least for major scenes, but oh well. I did try to give distinct voices for certain characters... but that didn't last too long.

Still it was great in seeing how much was established in the tutorial case as well as the second case to build up the world of Phoenix Wright, such as Mia being killed off and the introduction of her sister Maya and her spirit medium powers, along with various reoccurring characters like Edgeworth and Larry

Now we got through two cases during the stream and the majority of the 3rd case (with the Steel Samuari) but with the stream going on so long, I decided to hold off on finishing it for next Saturday, to play it along with the forth case. I also forgot how long the cases get, and if I remember right, the 5th case in the first game can be incredibly long.

Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy Achievements

  • First Steps: Start playing PW: AA Trilogy.
  • The First Turnabout: Clear Ep. 1 of PW: AA.
  • Turnabout Sisters: Clear Ep. 2 of PW: AA.

For the raid we dropped in on sakuramurayama who was also playing Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy over at twitch.tv/sakuramurayama

Did try to reach out to my cousin Frances to see how she was doing and to arrange when she'd be able to come over to join in on some fun and games, unfortunately, I called at bad time. I will make that happen sooner or later!

Picked up all three massive deluxe volumes for Hellsing, finally having the manga in its complete form. However some of the translation is different from the paperback manga I've acquired years ago. Does make for presenting artwork easy on stream when holding a volume up to the camera!

Had a Hawaiian pizza for dinner because I wasn't in the mood to 'cook'. Limiting takeout does serve as a nice alternate to the stuff I'm making to eat throughout the week.

The plan for Sunday's stream is Overwatch 2, as we'll do Quick Play matches and work on the season 5 battle pass!

So on that note we'll see you about 7 PM Eastern over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!

Finished Heavy Rain

Hi everyone,

We just finished our second night of Heavy Rain, finishing the story at around 1 AM, and needless to say, I enjoyed the second half of the game a lot more than the first half, since there was seemingly less need for the motion controls, since Heavy Rain was designed with the PlayStation Move controller in mind. Now we ended up saving Shaun and keeping three of the characters alive when we finished the story at 1 AM and the initial credits rolled (Jayden, Ethan and Scott), with Madison biting it when I made a wrong choice in the burning apartment. At that point we had 24 trophies unlocked.

Then I discovered we could replay chapters specifically, and since Madison in the apartment is the next to last chapter of the game, we re did it and went for the creative Indiana Jones solution (as in get in the fridge), which led to her telling Ethan were Shaun was leading to getting all four main characters to the ending in one piece, which also made the final chapter and sequence of events a lot more wild with all the cuts back and forth between Ethan, Jayden and Madison. Also meant we got the super happy ending.

Now going into it, I was aware of that Scott was the true villain, but there was certainly a lot of reasons to believe he wasn't it... unless one forgets that the box Ethan gets has the same items that Scott is picking up at various locations.

Will I want to play this again? Yes, but probably to go for the Perfect Crime ending, which would mean letting various things happen that I avoided in this play through. We'll save that for next year (assuming I can keep my head above water, find a consistent part time job and don't end up destitute which would please my father immensely)

I'll have a video commentary review on my YouTube channel in a few weeks, since I want to get into the habit of talking about games I finish as part of a casual review series.

Heavy Rain Trophies

  • Fugitive: Fugitive - Manage to escape Blake in the subway station
  • Detox: Jayden Blues - Resist Triptocaine
  • I'm not a Killer!: The Shark - Do not kill the Drug Dealer
  • Smart Girl: The Doc - Do not drink the Doc's beverage
  • Queen of Ropes: The Doc - Escape before the Doc returns
  • The Chef: Eureka - Prepare a good omelette on time
  • Pride Saved: Sexy Girl - Take off no more than one item of clothing during the strip-tease
  • Lover Boy: On the Loose - Forgive Madison
  • Escape Master: On the Loose - Escape the police at the motel
  • Kind Hearted: Face to Face - Give Kramer his medicine
  • Invincible Scott: Face to Face - Do not get shot in Kramer's villa
  • Nerd: Find all clues using ARI (Crime scene + Mad Jack + Fish tank) and find the Origami Killer
  • Saved the Kid: Save Shaun
  • HEAVY RAIN™ Hero: Finish HEAVY RAIN™
  • Simple Mind: The Old Warehouse - Save the Origami Killer before he falls, with Jayden or Madison
  • Cold as Ice: Killer's Place - Survive the explosion by hiding in the fridge
  • Four Heroes: Complete the story with four characters alive

For the raid we dropped in on zonesama who was playing We Love Katamari Reroll + Royal Reverie over at twitch.tv/zonesama, for those who don't know zonesama is best known for making certain Flash animations that fall under Rule 34, they are incredibly talented, and their community is rather welcoming

Work was alright, got one completed interview in a casual paced night.

Also picked up another Mass Effect short story commission request based on the Omega DLC mission for Mass Effect 3.

So what's the next game we're going to play on PlayStation Fridays? I'm leaning towards Beyond Two Souls which features Elliot Page, which could be another interesting two-stream style game. Either that or Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales. We'll see.

On the agenda for Saturday night's stream is the beginning of the Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Trilogy. Since I have played the Steam version before, I'm going to use my notes from 2019 for this play through on the Xbox One.

So on that note we'll see you about 7 PM Eastern over on twitch.tv/fredcasden, I might start earlier, depends on how I'm feeling.

The Offical Push To Finishing Persona 3 Portable Begins

Hi everyone,

Well let's talk about Stream Elements and the fact I created new merchandise, and my order for my own shirts was not delivered to my home, but instead UPS & USPS somehow delivered it to somewhere in Barrington, NJ which is no where near my mailing address! So to say I'm livid is an understatement!

Work was alright, we didn't have the good assignment that I was on the last few shifts, but what I was on only required that we try to get interviews done... and I got one done, so that was good.

We passed December 31 in Persona 3 Portable, which opened up the last block of Tartarus and the final push towards finishing the game. Now the guide I'm using says to wait until January 15th to grind out all the new floors and bosses, but I learned my lesson from last week, instead alternating what nights we go into Tartarus. This helps in regards to level grinding, but it's becoming really clear that I'm going to end up using Aigis and Yukari to finish, with the last spot on the team probably being Akihiko.

We also tackled several of the optional boss fights related to Margaret wanting to challenge the P3-Protagonist, and while the ones I've done so far are just harder versions of the full moon shadow fights involving the use of specific party members, which in some ways puts me at a disadvantage. These are the first fights that saw me the use of the 'retry' mechanic. Most certainly these are going to get tougher and more tedious, but we're making a go for it.

No achievements were earned, as the last story related ones are tied to defeating Nyx, and the others are related to doing specific things that we're doing to accomplish during this playthrough that we're not ready for yet.

That said, by my match we should finish Persona 3 Portable on Tuesday's stream since there's not many side things out side of Tartaturs to do beyond the Empress, Aeon and hopefully Strength social links.

For the raid we dropped in on maximilian_dood who was playing the demo for Final Fantasy XIV over on twitch.tv/maximilian_dood

As announced in my Discord, we're bringing back the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy starting on Saturday. Last time we played the games in that collection was back in December of 2019. We will be using a guide for it, because... why not?

Plan for Wednesday's stream is that it'll start at 9:30 PM Eastern with Iceman and I continuing our adventures in Resident Evil 6, then in the second half, it'll be Fall Guys as I work towards that final achievements.

So on that note we'll see you over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

Today's Notes 8/24/21: Three Dragons Down and Three To Go

Good morning everybody,

Last night's stream of Chrono Cross saw a lot getting done in terms of side quests before getting back onto the main story to start hunting down the Six Elemental Dragons.

First destination however was the Isle of the Damned in another world, taking Karsh to have a show down against Solt and Peppor regarding their belief that he killed Dario. Apparently like Radius, Karsh was possessed by the Masamune... but is that really what happened? Because I do know we have a boss battle against Dario coming up later in the game. From there it was off to the Hydra Marshes, where we saved a Beeba and got an ancient fruit before going on to face the De-Hyrate. Now that is a boss fight I have an issue with because of its name. Considering it's the ghost of a Hyrda that in 'Another World', were killed off long ago... shouldn't it be called a De-Hyrda? The joke still work!

Then it was off to Guldove where there is a fight against future recruit Orlha because she thinks Lynx and company are the bad guys. Really a battle because of a misunderstanding, but seeing how you fight folks who will be in your party at some point in this game, it's a nice way to see what Orlha can do. Heading to Guldove is also important as one most go to the Dragon Shrine to get the Dragon Emblem which you must take to the Home World's Dragon Shrine at Guldove. Also at this point, the Lv 7 abilities for characters start being unlocked which means probably a lot of going around and side quests to make sure everyone has their abilities!

Anyway once back in the Home World, I made sure Fargo and Irenes were my party as we head to SS Zelbess. Fargo is important because he basically steals the Zelbess from his counterpart and that goes into the long performance of Nikki and the Magical Dreamers as they play the song to awaken the ghosts on Marbule so they could be dealt with. The performance is really cool, but does make me wonder how it would look in a remastered format. Anyway, Fargo unlocks his Invincible ability, and once everything is done, if you talk to Nikki with Fargo and Irenes in the party, they have unique dialog. As a perk, Miki was also recruited. At that point, it was off to Water Dragon Isle to face the Water Dragon in a straight up fight, peppering him with red elements to wear him down fast before landing the finishing blow. Getting to the Earth Dragon on Earth Dragon Isle involved some light puzzle work in getting Rockroach's knocked into hole, the battle itself also straight forward by hammering it with green elements.

Now getting to the 'Green Dragon' was a pain in the ass, as you must go to the Hyrda Marshes of the home world, fight an angry Beeba, then learn how to summon the Winagpede. This is why getting the fruit earlier helps out. Once you summon the Wingapede, you're taken to Gae's Navel where you meet Leah and you basically have no choice but to face every creature around the island to lure out Tyrano. Now that doesn't seem to bad, that is until you have to deal with the Prehysterics who cane cast confusion on your team and the animation for that gets real old real quick. Anyone, on top of that, once you lure out Tyrano adnd defeat it, you're pushed right into fight against the Green Dragon. The battle against the Green Dragon can be a nightmare in any of itself because of all the Status Effects it can cause... which was a great concern if a party isn't balanced enough to cover having some elements locked out for a bit. Anyway, once The Green Dragon is defeated, Leah joins the party.

So with all that done it sets up the next part of the game nicely for tonight! Now here are the clips from last night

Following the stream, we raided MommyBee (twitch.tv/MommyBee) who was also playing Chrono Cross!

We added two games to the collection yesterday. First The Great Ace Attorney Chronicles for the Nintendo Switch... and having played the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy back at the end of 2019, I'm looking forward to seeing what this game is like. The other game added is Dragon Quest XI S: Echoes of AN Elusive Age - Definitive Edition... which is one hell of a long title. I have never played a Dragon Quest game but my understanding is that they are like Final Fantasy and each game can stand on it's own unless other wise indicated.

Also picked up RWBY: The official Manga Anthology volume 5 which focuses on Team Juniper (Jaune, Pyrrah, Ren and Nora) with some side stories for them. With this being the fifth volume, I wonder when team CFVY will get their own manga... or are their adventures going to be novel exclusives.

Added another Funko Pop to the collection, Becky Lynch (Pop WWE #65) and on top of that a Becky Lynch 'Elite Collection' figure that was released last year shortly after she vacated the RAW Women's Title. I do find it odd that the hands are apparently interchangeable. Now that I'm going to open it find out why that's the case.

DaemonsWolf (twitch.tv/daemonsw0lf) is working on the next art piece, and it will see the return of the Bunny decked out in Division gear! Looking forward to seeing the finished item and to make it the next start screen image!

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 Daily Workout lasted 28 minutes with an estimated calorie burn of 430 kcal. The exercises for today Beginner Combo #1, Hook Combo #2 and Front Back Step Combo. We did a little extra with an additional Difficult Challenge Combo #3, so the  total session was 34 minutes with an estimated calorie burn of 531 kcal.

For tonight's stream, we're continuing Chrono Cross and our quest of hunting down the remaining Dragons. We're heading after the Fire Dragon next and I'm gonna have all day to figure out the best course of action because I know I want Fargo in the party, but he's going to be an easy target because he's a blue innate while the Fire Dragon is a red innate which just spells trouble.

Anyway, we'll se you later tonight over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

Today's Notes 12/26/20

Good afternoon everybody,

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas, as now we prepare to end 2020, a year most of us will want to forget!

Last night's stream was a little different, as we played The 39 Steps. Yes there is a sort of a video game adaptation of the classic book, which is basically a visual novel with some light game play stuff here and there, in terms of finding objects and interacting with a few sequences, but it really is just the story. It made for a nice Christmas night stream, as it prepared me for tonight's stream.

You see tonight we are starting up a huge visual novel series, Zero Escape: The Nonary Games, which as DaemonsW0lf puts is just anime saw, as it sees a bunch of people put together in a deadly game. While a lot of it is voice acted, a lot of it is not. And it does have puzzles and different sequences that provide a variety of game play elements, so it will as if we are returning to the Phoenix Wright games from a year ago. Except this time I'm not going to try and blitz my way through them, because unlike the Phoenix Wright games, the Zero Escape games have multiple endings that needs to reached before the true ending is revealed.

Which of course means, no Twitch Sings tonight as out final Twitch Sings stream ever will be on Thursday Night, December 31st... we'll be singing out the new year, which means Star Trek Online is either moving up to Wednesday or back to Friday for this week. Not completely sure which as of yet.

I have decided to stop loading up the original Fitness Boxing, and to focus mainly on Fitness Boxing 2, mostly the workouts in Fitness Boxing 2 are actually exceeding what I was doing in the first game on a daily basis. Today's session did feature the No Mercy set, which never stops being amusing with how mean Lin can get. Anyway, from the Orthodox stance I had some mistimed Jabs, Left Uppercuts and Right hooks, while from the Southpaw stance only right ducks were a little off. I do wish the developers used a different shade of yellow for uppercuts because on combo sequences it's hard to see the indicator because the rhythm bar is also yellow... or maybe they should've used a different color for the rhythm bar, like purple or something.

Did do some Overwatch things as well, and man it was amusing to see how people don't know how to counter Moira on Nintendo Switch side of the coin. The fact that I can I hide behind the payload and just move from left to right, peaking out to attack with no one from the other team coming to counter me just blew my mind. I wasn't using her fade ability, I was literally moving from side to side. I do wish the Switch version of Overwatch had some replay recording dynamics for plays of the game like the PC and Xbox One versions do. Oh well.

And on that bombshell we'll wrap things up here, see ya later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!

Today's Notes 11/13/20

Good Afternoon Everyone...

Last night's Star Trek Online stream actually went only three hours, mainly because the two missions 'Doomed to Repeat' and 'Quark's Lucky Seven' are very.... very dialog heavy. If you let everything play out, they each take an hour to do. Add onto this the fact I had to retrain my Cardassian Captain again because of yet more changes made by the developers as indicated in the patch notes I included in yesterdays post, and we did two task force operations as well... it made for a full stream.

The positive side of this is that we passed the fun along to DaemonsW0lf (twitch.tv/daemonsw0lf) who you know has done about 99% of the artwork seen on my channel and merchandise. She was playing a fascinating visual novel puzzle game called "Zero Escape: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors" which seems like it falls right in my wheelhouse because remember last December I went through all three games of the Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trilogy.

Today's Fitness Boxing session was pretty solid, as I stuck with Strength & Cardio at 35 minuets once again. I continue to hate left-right step movements but hey kept all score above 90 which is good!

I'm not totally sure what will be on tonight's stream agenda over on twitch.tv/fredcasden  it could be a night of variety just bouncing from game to game. Could try a bunch of NES / SNES games through my Switch just to see how well I do with them. Who knows!

Anyway, we'll see ya later regardless, hope you have a great day!

My Thoughts on the Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Trilogy

The Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Trilogy certainly left a lasting impression on me, and so that's why it's the topic of this weeks video!

Phoenx Wright: Ace Attorney Trilog: Complete Playthrough

The Phoenix Wright Ace Attorney Trilogy was the first game... or rather GAMES I finished in 2020 (having started in December 2019) and it took me some long nights to get through various episodes, but playing them was a lot of fun. I do not recommend binge playing them like I did, but I do recommend playing it at a reasonable pace.
