Moved Furniture, Proved The Breakers A.I. Is Cheap

Good morning everyone,

With no work yesterday, I finally dedicated time to moving stuff to where the couch and deep freezer were taking up space in the basement. Also realized I had extra storage space under the basement stairs, which is where I'll be putting several cases of items.

Last night's stream featured the Breakers Collection, and anyone who didn't believe me about how fucking cheap Bai-Hu is a cheap boss for a fighting game that gets priority on everything will have proof of it. Granted I wanted to beat him using Rila, which made things harder for myself because of how her plays style is similar to Blanka's in Street Fighter. Eventually I was successful on that, adjusting the settings to make it possible for me, but even then it was a nightmare.

Also tried to play some matches online, but according to the in game lobbies, only two other people were playing. Breakers Collection is a dead game for online play.

Breakers Collection Achievements

  • Just a Normal Day: Finished Arcade Mode on NORMAL (Difficulty Level 4-6)
  • Path of Pielle: Finished Arcade Mode with Pielle (Any Difficulty Setting)
  • Path of Rila: Finished Arcade Mode with Rila (Any Difficulty Setting)

For the raid we dropped in on Kalenal during their stream of Final Fantasy XIV over at twitch.tv/kalenal

The plan for tonight's stream is to continue Marvel's Spider-Man, with the initial focus being on doing all the Silver & Prisoner Camps and Crimes before dealing with the rest of the main story

The Oakland A's are no more, or will be no more, as it's confirmed the team will be moving to Las Vegas in a few years. Blame the team's owners all you want, but they tried for over 20 years to get a new stadium. So fuck Oakland, Viva Las Vegas!

Got a copy of Kena Bridge of Spirits for the PS4, looking forward to playing it down the line as it came highly recommended.

Spoke with the FnDanteSavage yesterday, had a nice chat getting updates on his son, talking games and other stuff.

Disney Speedstorm launched, and I gave it a show last night... and while it is a gorgeous racer, the controls and tracks are a little... odd, still I did throw down to get the founder's pack, so I do have a variety of characters to choose from. The Achievement list is incredibly grindy as well.

Next week's line up is looking like this:

Tonight: Marvel's Spider-Man (PS4)
Saturday: Elder Scrolls Online (Xbox Series)
Sunday: Overwatch 2 (Xbox One)
Monday: American McGee's Alice
Tuesday: American McGee's Alice
Wednesday: Fall Guys & Resident Evil 5
Thursday: Disney Speedstorm

Among the records I sorted through recently that were found, I located one album my dad was hoping would be among them. So that was kind of cool.

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

Chaos In Resident Evil 5's fifth chapter

 Good morning everyone,

Well there was no-work because the assignment got down because they want to understand why it's not doing well... but as I said, a major problem is that the sample we have to work with includes businesses that have nothing to do with the topic on hand!

Heard my Cousin Frances was under the weather, and here's hoping she gets well soon!

Anyway last night's stream opened with Fall Guys, and we were joined by FelKimchi, and while we didn't win any shows, we did make it to the final round several times, coming very close to winning on two occasions.

After the break it was back to Resident Evil 5 with Iceman, as we cleared Chapters 5-1 and 5-2. I was warned about the boss fights in it, and we were able to through the Ouroboros one with the flamethrower on a first attempt. We're not at the part of the game where more monsters are scene like the Lickers and Reapers, the later of which is what killed me when we considered trying to do Chapter 5-3.

The way I figure we could be finished with the base game of RE5 in two weeks time, then of course we'll try and do its expanded content

Resident Evil 5 Achievements

  • Completed Chapter 5 - 1: Complete Chapter 5 - 1 on any difficulty setting.
  • Baptism by Fire: Defeat 3 Majini at once with a drum or gas tank explosion.
  • Completed Chapter 5 - 2: Complete Chapter 5 - 2 on any difficulty setting.

For the raid we sent the fun over to x9abenonymous9x who was playing the 1998 version of Resident Evil 2 over at twitch.tv/x9abenonymous9x!

For tonight's stream we're going to play the Breakers Collection, and we'll see just how frustrating that game is when I have the pressure of an audience watching!

Got some writing done, so the latest commission short story request is about 20% completed.

Recorded part 3 of my series of finding vinyl albums on Spotify and building a playlist on the albums top songs. Changed my rules a bit as it relates to compilation records. Also got every vinyl record storied in a container of some sort, so the trunk that we discovered can be used for other things.

Also recorded an video going through a bag of actions figures that my mom had put aside. The bag's contents were mostly my brothers, based on when I was able to place the release of some figures.

Both videos will be up on my YouTube channel in a couple of weeks, not due to editing, but when I have scheduled them to go live.

Moved a bookcase and a dresser in my basement, and I totally forgot that I have extra storage space underneath the stairs that lead up into the kitchen!.

And on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!

A new week begins

 Good afternoon everyone,

Yesterday was mostly a chill day, as I spent a lot of time thinking about how overwhelmed I feel.

Last night's stream of Overwatch 2 saw us having a lot of fun with BangBangBang and PandaSweet being apart of the action. There was a number of times I questioned the mental capacity of a lot of the random teammates we got saddle with, like who would play Widowmaker on attack after they realize the opposing team also as a Windowmaker and an Ana that can focus their fire on you. There is also an unusual tendency for players to over extend, which ends up making defense harder than it needs to be.

Picked up one play of the game last night as Moira, other characters used were Reinhardt, Ana, Brigitte, Tracers, Bastion and several others.

For the raid we dropped in on Kalenal during their birthday stream of Final Fantasy XIV over at twitch.tv/kalenal

The plan for tonight's stream is resume Alice: Madness Returns, picking up in the middle of Chapter 3. If things go right we could try and knock out

Finished the Star Trek story as an exclusive for my subscribestar followers, now I ponder what will be the next story I write on the side. Did pick up another commission request, based on the 2023 Crunchyroll Anime Awards, I think I'll keep it mostly generic.

Threw together an odd combination of items for dinner last night involving beats, corn and tuna fish. It was serviceable.

Picked up a fresh box of contractor bags, because while a good portion of things were already dealt with there is still more stuff I need to make decisions on either keeping or throwing out.

I am curious over how many play through of Hades I'm going to need to do to get the final two achievements since they are tied to character relationship progression.

Recorded another video going through DVDs, the eighth in that series of videos for my YouTube channel, it features a lot of wrestling DVDs as well as a quite a few movies

I have been contemplating figuring out some sort of Karaoke gimmick to do on stream, and I've seen some limited options. Question is if there are USB microphones that work with consoles.

Watched Highlander following last night's stream, because I wanted to watch something, and it was the best option available without me thinking too hard! .Plus some of the Amazon Prime suggestions I was getting were very suspect.

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

Pizza, Elder Scrolls and Breakers

Good morning everyone,

Yesterday.... because I didn't want to dirty any dishes after washing them, I ordered from Papa Johns for what was basically lunch and dinner... needless to say I felt very stuffed by the time the stream started. I've gotten so use to eating small meals that when I have something heavy it really wears me down.

Last night's stream of Elder Scrolls Online was a lot of fun as Striker joined in and we continued our focus on the main story of High Isle involving the conspiracy to disrupt a peace conference. We each picked up the same companion character which helps makes the combat a lot easier, since it's a mage... which means two of it are unleashing some major magic on enemies.

Now I do wish the wikis for ESO were a bit more coherent in terms of listing main story quests and side quests to give me a better idea of the story pacing to make things flow a lot better.

For the raid we dropped in on tokushoutsu during the marathon of GoGoFive which was adapted to Power Rangers: Light SPeed Rescue. You can check out their channel at twitch.tv/tokushoutsu

It's Sunday, which means Overwatch 2 is on the agenda for tonight! As always voice chat will be handled through discord!

Now in an attempt to blatantly extend my Xbox Achievement streak another day, I started messing around with the Breakers Collection, which contains two fighting games, Breakers (released in 1996) and Breakers Revenge (released in 1998), a pair of games released on Neo Geo hardware. Now Obviously I was expecting them to be difficult, so to get use to the in-game controls, I started on the easy setting just to see how responsive the controls are and to see if it's something I want to stream.

Needless to say my experience was fairly positive for the most part, and I was thinking I could end up knocking out a fair amount of arcade runs. Then I ran into the final boss Bai-Hu who I feel is personally one of the cheapest, input reading A.I. controlled opponents I have ever faced in any fighting game, and I'm saying this as someone who has been the arcade version Street Fighter Alpha 3 on the hardest difficulty as Sakura! It took me over two hours to beat Bai-Hu.

If I'm going to stream this game, it would certainly under some unique settings to try and go for multiple achievements at once.

Breakers Collection Achievements

  • Basic Moves: Won a Round without using a Super Special Move (Either Arcade or Versus) (Either Online or Offline)
  • The Pledge: Won a Round with a Special Move Finisher (Either Arcade or Versus) (Either Online or Offline)

  • Don't Remember...: Won 10 consecutive Versus Matches (Either Online or Offline)

Oh and my achievement streak is up to 21 days.

Finished the 26th entry in the series of Mass Effect commissioned stories yesterday, and got some work done on a Star Trek story I'm working on as an exclusive for my SubscribeStar followers.

I've had no issues with my main shower drain since I cleared out the clog earlier in the week, just thought I'd share an update on that!.

The City of Camden Water Bill has been paid, I don't have to worry about that again until July!

Recorded part 2 of my building a playlist based on vinyl records I own, and it features a lot of Commander Cody and Carpenters. That video will go live on my YouTube channel first on the first Monday in May.

My YouTube channel is gradually getting more attention ever since I started doing the shorts. Helps that I finally know how to make those in the right aspect ratio!

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!
