Sea of Thieves and other notes

Tonight, Striker and Iceman were apart of the fun in Sea of Thieves as we knocked out part two of the Monkey Island cross-over adventure, and the 2nd chapter was certainly a lot more puzzle heavy and cryptic much like the original Monkey Island game. 

I did like the inclusion of the Insult Sword fighting, the appearance of Stan and many of the call backs to the original game Monkey Island game. I am convinced that a full 3D remake of the Secret of Monkey Island game will actually be really cool in regards to how well Melee Island looks.

Sea of Thieves will return next Wednesday, depending on the availability of Iceman and Striker

Tomorrow's stream will feature Borderlands 2 as we continue the Captain Scarlet content

For the raid we dropped in on ZoneSama for their Zone-Out stream featuring Bravestar and COPS

Work was solid if a little less productive than yesterday

Finished the second of two Fairy Tale commission requests, next up is a WWE related one, which is already about 20% complete.

Borderlands 2 and other notes

Tonight's stream of Borderlands 2 saw us go into one of the DLC  content of Captain Scarlet and her Pirate's Booty, which has everything scaled to be at the the mid to up 20s in terms of levels, which means I'm getting to grind out levels to put myself in a good position to make the main game's final few mission areas trivial.

Was joined by a couple of people at random, so I got to see how much more damage is needed to be done to enemies with as many as two other people playing at the same time. Only problem is since I don't use a headset voice chat was not possible.

For the raid we dropped in on gatling_hawk who was also playing Borderlands 2

Work was solid this evening despite a weird moment where I got disconnected even through there was no issues with my internet connection.

60% finished the current commission request based on Fairy Tail, will easily finish it tomorrow, trying to get it as close to 5000 works as possible

Picked up the Grandia Collection for Xbox... one of these days Grandia III will see a port

Borderlands 2 and other notes

We got a fair amount done in Borderlands 2 this evening, with several side quests and two big story mission that reunites the Vault Hunters from the original game, which basically puts us on the homestretch of finishing the game.

I need to figure out the level start points for Borderlands 2 DLC as I would like to do them before starting on the final leg of the game which is focused on taking down Handsome Jack. I know at least two require to be at level 30, but there should be others

For the raid we dropped in on sweetlindir who was playing Fortnite

Work was super productive this evening, we closed out an assignment, but then switched to one that broke my brain because of who we were looking to speak to went from listed only to anyone.

Finished one Fairy Tail story for a SubscribeStar request and now working on another story based on the anime / mangafor a Commission. It's about 15%  done

Overwatch 2 and other notss

Tonight's stream of Overwatch 2 featured several matches in the Mirrorwatch event to progress in that before settling into standard Quick Play matches. Shoutout to PandaSweet for being apart of the fun from start to finish.

Also yes, I do have a pretty damn good success rate when it comes to calling out people for cheating in Overwatch 2, there are somethings that just don't look natural.

Overwatch 2 will of course be back next Sunday.

Tomorrow night we return to Borderlands 2 and progressing through side quests.

Got some writing done on the first of two Fairy Tail commissions, had a hard time figuring out the intro, but when it doubt make a Cheers reference and basically including Norm for a heap gag.

Going to record this week's episode of the Daria reactions before doing some writing and heading to bed.

Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes and other notes

Tonight we wrapped up the achievement hunting in Lego Batman 2: DC Super Heroes, going through and getting the minikits and citizens in peril via Free Play mode. I still find it funny that Supergirl only becomes available after basically 100% completing everything else in the game. Total time spent completing Lego Batman 2 was about 30 hours.

Now we did do some bonus gaming with WWE 2K16, getting a few achievements in that this evening. Took a while to get comfortable with the controls but once we did we put it on Legend Difficulty.

Next Saturday we will be starting Persona 4 Golden... just over a year after we started Persona 3 Portable. P4G will stay on Saturdays only until we finish Borderlands 2.

Tomorrow night we're playing Overwatch 2

For the raid we visited IntergalaticPants who was playing Baldur's Gate 3

Loaded up the fridge with groceries today... and picked up something from Checkers... but they got my order wrong, ended up with a large coke instead of a small sprite and a milkshake instead of a cheesecake sundae

Watched parts 1 and 2 of Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths, and being very familiar with the original story and how it was told in comic book form, I can safely both films are a disjointed mess. Not to say there aren't great moments and I enjoyed both film to the point I'm looking forward to seeing the conclusion when part 3 comes out.

Finished the Star Wars commission request and next up is the first of two back to back Fairy Tail stories. Will get started on that before I go to bed

LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes and other notes

Tonight's stream was pretty casual as we focused on achievement hunting in Lego Batman 2, having completely 60% of the game in terms of various objectives. Going to have to go through every level in free play mode to try and find all the mini-kits and citizens in peril. The Golden Bricks are mostly doable its just a matter of getting to each one and dealing with them as Batman and or Robin because of a couple of their unique suits

Lego Batman 2 will return next Saturday night for more achievement hunting. So this weeks line up will be

There is an XBox Live connection for Xbox 360 era games was not working, and I had to spend 30 minutes trying to report it since this is the second time in four months this happened (the last time was back in January)

Pretty much had a lazy Saturday, just chilled and relaxed

Nearly finished the Fairy Tail commission story, just needs about another page to wrap up its loosends

Ghost of Tsushima and other notes

Tonight's stream of Ghost of Tsushima saw a major focus on exploration, knocking out Yuna's story arc, finding the remaining duels and basically just roaming around in general. Basically opened up a major area in the middle of the map to explore next Friday.

Also at this point I have about 44% of the trophies in the base game, so doing a fine job getting the most out of it. 

Tomorrow we're doing some achievement hunting in Lego Batman 2 DC Super Heroes, big focus will be on stud collecting

For tonight's raid we dropped in on annietalksshow who was playing Valorant

Had to work mid-day today because I committed to it... and still lost an hour of work. Of course rebounding from last night to work during the day was not easy.

Then next week I have to work mid-day Monday and Tuesday which is going to suck royallyin terms of getting any writing done.

Got a good start on the Fairy Tail commission request and I should be able to knock it out tomorrow

I'm over half way through  Becky Lynch's book, up to where she getting her first big push in NXT (teaming with Sasha Banks in Team BAE)

Borderlands 2 and other notes

Tonight we started playing Borderlands 2, and we're playing it on the Xbox Series console to take advantage of the texture pack. For this play through, we're playing as Gaige, and I quickly discovered her Deathtrap Robot is going to be used a lot. 

We covered every side quest we came across so far and finished the night where we reach the front door of Sanctuary,  but it was getting late, so next time we play we're going after Reese.

Borderlands 2 will return on Monday's stream.

Tomorrow we're playing Ghost of Tsushima as we explore the western half of the ACT 2 portion of the map.

I was expecting not to have work today, but turned out we did, so we didn't lose hours, and tonight was a bit better than the last two nights. Of course this means I now have to try and rebound for tomorrow to work mid-day... ugh.

Finished the Mass Effect commission which involved a fuck ton of rewrites... but at least we got it done. Next up on my list is a Fairy Tail commission.

Several chapters into Becky Lynch's book, and yeah, one can see why she is The Man!

Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and other notes

Tonight in Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League, we got every up to level 21, we took down Batman (who went out like the punk ass bitch he is!) and then we took down Superman in what had to be the toughest fight of the game, as tracking him was extremely tough. I actually was down to my last revive on that fight which was nerve racking!

Still with the Justice League eliminated, the 'endgame' portion of the game begins with the grind to eliminating Brainiac is next. It's going to be pretty interesting to see how things play out as I have already put in 38 hours into this game in my quest to do everything I think is possible solo.

Suicide Squad will return on Thrusday as we have a good shot to get several achievements that night.

Tomorrow night's stream is slated for Sea of Thieves, depending on if Iceman is able to join in.

Work was on fire as I knocked out eight interviews, my throat was ruined by the end of my shift!

Finished the Fairy Tail story request to fulfill a SubscribesStar Commission Tier request and it turned out pretty I think. Next is the first of four (sigh) several WWE related stories in a row... ugh.

Paid the next quarter property taxes on my house today... ugh that was $560 but hey, I didn't have to pay it until May, and the next isn't until August, so I'm ahead of the curve baby!

Dead or Alive and other notes

We got a lot done in Dead or Alive 4, finishing the story mode with all characters, which lead to unlocking Spartan-458, and then I started doing time trials. Oddly enough, getting the Bronze and Gold achievements for singles were 'easy' in comparison  to the Silver one, which needs to be done in less than 5 minutes but more than 4 minutes 30.

I'm still keeping DOA 4 on the line up for next week as I'm looking to unlock Tengu. There is a question about going after all the costumes, which would require going through time trials on normal settings (2 rounds, 99 seconds), which could take  a long time to do. 

Either way, the game is finished as the credits rolled, so I'll be doing a Casual Review and will have a few things to say about it.

Tomorrow stream will feature Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, we're going to focus on leveling first then do a couple of things to progress the story. I'm really wanting to stretch things out.

Work was a big of a slog tonight, didn't get an interview done until after we switched assignments 

Started work on the next commission story, which is based on Fairy Tail and is a continuation of sorts to two prior stories based on that anime / manga. I figure this story is about 30% complete.

Would have had more of that done but I dozed off on my recliner shortly after having breakfast.

Skullgirls 2nd Encore and other notes

Tonight we wrapped up a few things in Skullgirls 2nd Encore, namely completely Black Dahlia's story mode (and that was surprisingly difficulty), did a few arcade runs (one of which took half a hour), and picked up a few achievements for certain characters. Now earlier in the day I worked on a couple of other achievements associated, namely ones realized to getting a 829-Hit combo and having sixty different types of combos performed.

So with Skullgirls 2nd Encore finished, we can slot Final Fantasy XIII into Mondays, meaning we can dedicated Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays to it as we work on finishing the game. Of course, obviously we're playing Final Fantasy XIII for tomorrow's stream.

For tonight's raid we dropped in on pradoxgamerau who was playing World of Warcraft

We didn't have work tonight which bugs the hell out of me, but hopefully we'll have something lined up sooner rather than later.

Had a hard time working on the WWE commission story today, in fact it took me most of the day to figure out how to even start it since I don't follow the current product and have no clue on what a number of character quirks are (and unlike with some other things, I don't intend to look into it).

The public reaction to the Fairy Tail commission from early January was about what I figured, and you know what, I don't mind because if someone is going to get mad enough to comment about a 5000 word story, then they should write their own.

Final Fantasy XIII and other notes

Tonight's stream saw us play Final Fantasy XIII, and clearing the first two chapters of the game, and getting use to the ATB system certainly is a challenge because of how fast paced it makes the combat. That said, I was reminded about the most annoying character in the game, which is of course Hope, who is such a fucking whiner earlier. On the flip side, I totally forgot about how Snow and  Lighting were basically 'in-laws' (again I did play the game back in 2011 before my original PS3 crapped out).

Anyway, we'll return to Final Fantasy XIII on Thursdays stream

Tomorrow night the plan is to play Sea of Thieves with Iceman and Striker, but we'll see how things roll out.

We did have work today, and while not as great a shift as last night, it was good to have work. The final question on the study is questionable in what are they looking to be asked as it doesn't make any sense.

Finished the Fairy Tail story to complete that commission, getting it over 4000 words was pretty cool. Already started the next story in the commission queue which a NCAA related one, and I get to make some references to things in the recent sport news.

Finished series ten of Red Dwarf, and once again Rimmer gets to save the day, which has to be a tradition at some point. Looking forward to seeing if his character progression carries over to series eleven.

Skullgirls 2nd Encore and other notes

Tonight's stream was dedicated to Skullgirls as we worked our way through seven story campaigns (Robo-Fortune, Beowulf, Peacock, Painwheel, Ms. Fortune, Valentine and Double) and one thing I can say for certain is that considering who linked Valentine and Painwheel are, that the later is clearly the game's true protagonist over Filia, since there is a connection between her and Painwheel as well. Now I've made the decision to keep Skullgirls in the line up for next Monday to go through the remaining six story mode characters.

Tomorrow night we're starting up Final Fantasy XIII, now the last time I played the PS3 version was back in December of 2011, so basically I am going itno it blind. But I do got a lead on an old school strategy guide which could come in handy.

For tonight's raid we dropped in on 13babybear13 who was playing Lego Star Wars; The Skywalker Saga

We did have work today, and the assignment was focused on the Special Election up in New York to replace George Santos, kind of interesting to hear what folks read, saw and heard about the two candidates.

Did a fair amount of writing today, but could not finish the commission story based on Fairy Tail. It is about 50% finish give or take.

Part of why was because I was waiting for the delivery of two backup keyboards considering the one I use was acting wonky recently. Better to be prepared.

So while I was waiting I watched most of Series 10 of Red Dwarf, and I rather like how Lister has evolved a bit as a character. Also the episode titled Lemons was fucking awesome!

Overwatch 2 and other notes

Tonight's stream of Overwatch was a solid five hours of action, big thanks to  Odeu and PandaSweet for joining in on chaos. Much to my surprise, I picked up one of Kiriko's achievements which shocked the check out of me. Also had a huge moment as Mauga getting three enemies trapped in his cage fight ultimate, which itself should have been an achievement. Oh well. Other characters I used tonight was Ashe, Reaper, Orisa, Brigitte and a few others

Tomorrow night we're dedicating to doing story mode runs in Skullgirls 2nd Encore.

Obviously I could have started Final Fantasy XIII tomorrow, but I did say I want to work in Skullgirls between major games on weeknights depending on when they are finished. 

For the raid we dropped in on intergalacticpants who was playing Mass Effect Andromeda 

I did sleep in ab it today, waking up around 12:30 PM, but I got various things done, most importantly Laundrey.

Watched parts 1 and 2 of Red Dwarf: Back to Earth, and it is kind of weird watch the show when episodes have cuts for commerical breaks.

Finished the WWE related story to complete a subscribestar subscription request, next is a normal commission request based on the anime / manga Fairy Tail, which might take me two days to write.

Next time I do groceries I need to make sure I pick up several boxes of shrimp, as they turn out great in the air fryer!

Overwatch 2 Achievements

Catherine: Full Body and other notes

Tonight's stream of Catherine Full Body ran five hours because I got hung up on a couple of puzzles and thought thought I was on the path for one of Rin's endings, but turns out I did something wrong along the way. Still we cleared the seventh night so next time we play the game we should be able to finish it with possibly getting a good or bad ending for Catherine.

Tomorrow night we're back to South Park The Stick Of Truth, with one thing on the agenda being going back to the sewers to find the last homeless battle

Next commission story on the agenda is Dragon Ball related, that I'll use some creative back and forth to get it done considering I'm not to keen on the requested amount of characters to involve.

Need to remember to get milk... though I can probably just go ahead and have bagels and eggs this week.

Tonight's stream of Sea of Thieves was a blast as Iceman and Striker were apart of the chaos as we engaged in sea battles with A.I. controlled ships, in addition to starting the Pirates of the Caribbean story content which featured a twenty minute long fight against the Flying Dutchman. All together it was a blast to play!

Sea of Thieves will return next Wednesday. 

Tomorrow night I'm back to South Park The Stick of Truth as we begin the second day of the game.

Now the next commission request is based on the anime / manga Fairy Tail, which I know nothing about, but was requested to be written as an alternate universe story, so I pretty much can establish the personalities.

I have gotten into the routine of going up to the living room to watch Red Dwarf as I make lunch / dinner. Something minor, but it means I'm making use of the Amazon Fire Stick that I moved upstairs.
