Marvel's Midnight Suns and other notes

Tonight we got a lot done in Midnight Suns, completing the DLC achievements for Deadpool and Storm while also setting up grinding for the ones related to Morbius and Venom. We also advanced the plot to where Hulk becomes Demon Hulk and also dropping a mountain on him. Also realized that with the exception of going completely dark side I will be able to earn every other achievement in the game.

Midnight Suns will return on Monday with the goal of pushing for Morbius's Challenge

Tomorrow's stream will feature Overwatch 2 and maybe some Smite since I have a couple of the weekly challenges done

For tonight's raid we dropped in on thereal_slim_katie who was playing Elden Ring

Finished the DC Comics commission request and started work on a NHL related one

SubscribeStar seems to have some issues with people giving one time tips, which really sucks.

Going to record two episodes of the Daria reactions for the next week

Marvel's Midnight Suns Achievements

  • Big Mad: Completed the Southwest story missions.
  • Big Guns: Used 3 different Legendary hero abilities in a single mission.
  • That Special Feeling: Complete Deadpool's Midnight Sun Challenge mission.
  • Blessings of the Goddess: Complete Storm's Midnight Sun Challenge mission.

God Eater: Resurrection and other notes

So we started up God Eater Resurrection tonight and it's the 2nd consecutive Bandai Namco game we've played that was originally on the PlayStation Vita. Rather impressed that it has full English localization, and all the character models look good... however the bare bones tutorial left a lot to be desired as I'll need to look up the full details of how something work.

I do feel more capable with the blade weapoing after trying a few, and we knocked out about two dozen missions. The game play does flow pretty quick and one could go from mission to mission with out much delay which is pretty cool.

God Eater Resurrection returns next Friday night

Tomorrow night we're playing Marvel's Midnight Suns

For the raid we dropped in on samaell_alwahm  who is playing Overwatch 2

Work was solid despite a rough start

It's 71 degrees right now... and that's awesome!

Got a good chunk of the DC Comics Supergirl /  Red Hood Story done, it's probably about 50% complete

God Eater: Resurrection Trophies

  • God Arc Compatible: Pass the aptitude test.
  • Divine Fodder: Gain strength by devouring an Aragami.
  • God Arc Tuning: Upgrade equipment for the first time.
  • Broken Bond: Break your first enemy bond.
  • Shared Power: Successfully use a Link Burst.
  • Urgent Mission Accomplished: Clear an urgent mission for the first time.
  • Exploiting Weakness: Use a typed attack to devastate an enemy.

Marvel's Midnight Suns and other notes

We advanced the plot a good deal, with the parchment of power now in Robbie, seeing that it was Mephisto who took Magik and that everyone had nightmares about the Hunter. No achievements unlocked, but progress on two achievements appears to be glitched.

Marvel's Midnight Suns will return on Saturday

Tomorrow night we're starting up God Eater Resurrection

For the raid we dropped in on Calyria who was playing Dragon Age Inquisition

Work was solid except for one bitch whose ego was beyond belief

Finished the Resident Evil commission, now waiting to be paid for it. Though the client has not responded to status update emails.

Started the next commission project which involves Supergirl and Red Hood in a DC Universe story inspired by Dead in the Family

Ghost of Tsushima and other notes

Tonight's stream of Ghost of Tsushuma saw a huge focus on exploration and trying to find areas I've been, only for things to become available after I finished the first act. Still we advanced the story, rescued Jin's uncle, fell off some high spots and had a good time overall.

Ghost of Tsushima will return on next Friday's stream with the focus on liberating the final six spots in the first area of the map

Tomorrow's stream with feature Suicide Squad Kill The Justice League, with probably as huge focus on level grinding, as we do have to get every character to level 30.

For the raid we dropped in on samaell_alwahm who was playing Genshin Impact

Work was surprisingly good, even if our system was rather Jekyll and Hyde which drove me nuts

Managed to get my hands on a complete set of the 1992 Impel/Skyboy DC Cosmic Cards, I had a bunch of the cards as a kid, so managing to get the whole set was pretty cool. Also realize and learned DC couldn't include Batman in the set because of the license agreement they had with Topps for the cards based on the Batman '89 and Batman Returns

Finished the NFL related s tory commission today, though it did take longer than expected to write

Next story on my commission docket is also NFL related but with a loose wrestling connection because people want to torture me

Ghost of Tsushima (PS4) Trophies

  • Family Reunion: Free Lord Shimura from the Khan's clutches.

Resident Evil and other notes

 Hi everyone,

Work tonight was another challenging evening, granrted some folks were willing to do the study, but the stiff sample requirements are making things nearly impossible for me.

Tonight's stream saw Iceman and I finish Ada Wong's Campaign in Resident Evil 6, which was a lot of fun, as Ada's Chapters 3, 4 and 5 sync up with key moments in the Jake/Sherry, Chris/Piers and Leon/Helena campaigns. The big reveal that the fake Ada was basically the result of an unrequited love was interesting, but the real fun was seeing things from a different point of view in all three chapters.

Of course, I did get screwed out of two achievements not popping, one is a completing the game on amateur difficult and the other was for completing chapter 5... the funny thing is, the in-game badges menu indicates I did unlocked them bot, but not on the Xbox registry, which is really weird. So next week, we're going back into Resident Evil 6 to replay chapters 1 & 2 of the Jake/Sherry campaign, along with Chapter 5 of Ada's to get the obvious story ones that didn't pop.

Now Iceman and I ended up talking a lot about creating characters for video games in terms of immersion and the whole CM Punk fiascoe, plus our break down of the MLB standings, which was always a lot of fun.

My next scheduled stream is for 9:30 PM Eastern over on twitch.tv/fredcasden with the plan being to featured episode four of The Expanse: The Telltale Series, and pair it with like Ghostbusters Spirits Unleashed or maybe even Gundam Evolution

Resident Evil 6 Achievements

  • This Takes Me Back: Complete Chapter 3 in Ada's campaign.
  • Ada's Demise: Complete Chapter 4 in Ada's campaign.
  • Rising Up: Earn a level-four title.

No formal raid tonight, I simply went over to twitch.tv/bestibunni to say hi and hang out for a bit!

Did a fair bit of writing, finsihing a massive commission request featuring Harley Quinn and Lois Lane, then another one featuring Spider-Man. They client liked the Spider-Man story so much, the requested an instant follow up which I'll work on tomorrow!

Getting both stories done allowed me to order some take out from the 45th Street Pun over in Pennsauken, which has one the best damn burgers I've ever had.

And on that note, I'm heading to bed! Good night folks!

Cyberpunk 2077 and other notes

Hi everyone,

Work tonight was another rough night, as the type of respondents we are looking far needs to fit a very narrow profile, then combine that with the natural language barrier... and yeah, it was rough.

Today's stream of Cyberpunk 2077 saw a nice mix of side stories and exploring the Badlands portion of the map, which gave me some real Borderlands vibes. Does make getting around a bit different than in the city portion, because we can off road. There were a few interesting moments, finding a dude in a 'cooler' who was a Netrunner, along with a complete noir style monologue from Johnny Silverhand that got pretty silly.

Our next stream  over on twitch.tv/fredcasden is slated for 9:30 PM Eastern on Wednesday with the plan to resume Resident Evil 6 with Iceman, picking up on Chapter 3 of Ada's campaign which. With luck we can knock out both Chapter 3 and Chapter 4, which would make for up nearly the whole stream.

For the raid we went over to  twitch.tv/sweetlindir who was playing Baulder's Gate 3

Did a lot of writing today, finishing the 7th story in a series of Resident Evil commissions that really cements my inability to try and make a coherent plot in this alternate universe, but at the very least I made sure to established that all the 'heroes' are basically villains...

Started work on a massive commission request based on Justice League Dark Apokolips War  to feature Harley Quinn and Lois Lane, with the goal to try and get it between 5000 and 6000 words. So far I have it at about 2800 words, So it should be possible, even if I have to put a lot padding to hit the target range.

Also did a bit of writing on the fourth chapter of my Persona AU series, mostly to transition to the action set piece.

Saw that the Phillies got blown out by the Padres, and so far they have lost 3 games here in September when they need to keep up their momentum that they had in August to make sure they make the playoffs.

And on that note, I hope you all have a good night!

Cyberpunk 2077 and other notes

Hi everyone,

With Labor Day being a thing, we were able to start tonight's stream earlier, which we did at 6 PM, as we continued Cyberpunk 2077, focusing on finishing all the side quests in the Santo Domingo part of Night City, before turning out attention to some of the bigger things, like character focused stories with Claire and finding all the Tarot cards. Near as I can tell there are four major areas level when it comes to NCPD police scans and gigs.

So our next stream will see us continuing Cyberpunk 2077, and we'll probably work on the side jobs before picking up the next area to focus on different to focus on clearing out more of the side things to do.It is scheduled for Tuesday night at 9:30 PM Eastern over on twitch.tv/fredcasden, of course we're counting on having work

Cyberpunk 2077 Achievements

  • The Jungle: Complete all gigs and NCPD Scanner Hustles in Santo Domingo.
  • The Wandering Fool: Find all the tarot graffiti for the job Fool on the Hill.

For the raid we dropped in on twitch.tv/tokushoutsu during the marathon of Gridman: The Hyper Agent

I got two commission requests done during the day, the first being a second story based on the DC Animated movie Justice League Dark Apokolips War with a focus on Lois Lane. The second story was to try and do something with someone's original character.

So with two stories done, that leads to a third one commission request which I started based on the series of Resident Evil stories, and trying to make the plot of this Alternate Universe take work, But considering how campy the actual franchise I think I can get away with almost anything.

Recorded the third video for my What if Vegeta Were Female, covering the Ginya Saga and started writing notes to cover the Frieza battles.

So on that note, have a good night!

Overwatch 2 and other notes

Hi everyone,

Tonight's stream of Overwatch 2 started a bit late thanks to me not deciding what I wanted to have for dinner, but we endedu p having mostly a good time, big thanks to PandaSweet and RedIce for being apart of the fun.

I picked up three plays of the game to get September off to a good start as Moira, Junker Queen and D.va, with several other characters being used like Ashe, Bastion and Echo. Of course I did do a bunch of Mystery Heroes matches and I can't quite remember everyone I used tonight

Our next stream over on twitch.tv/fredcasden may be scheduled for 9:30 PM Eastern on Monday, but because of the Labor Day holiday, we'll start earlier than that as we'll continue Cyberpunk 2077. Probably around 5 PM or 6 PM.

For the raid we went over to twitch.tv/misscammi316 who was playing Phasmophobia

Finished the sixth story in a series of short story commissions based on Resident Evil and picked up two more commission requests, one based on the DC Comics animated movie Justice League Dark:Apokolips War which is a follow up to an earlier commission based. Another is the seventh story in the Resident Evil series, and a third that would involve someone's original character.

Also starting work on the 4th chapter of my Persona series which will feature Chie as the driving force.

One thing I have on the agenda for tomorrow is laundry, and I can't help but think one of the worst things about (hopefully) finding a full time or even a part time job out of the house is that the amount of times I have to do laundry is going to triple, which will drive up my monthly water bill.

The amount of people trying to defend CM Punk amuses....

And on that note, good night everyone

Borderlands, Failed Job Interview And Other Notes

 Hi everyone,

Yesterday I had a job interview that was a hybrid position and everything was going perfect until I learned the job was not in Philadelphia on a major NJ Transit route, but down at the south end of Cherry Hill which is nearly impossible to get to and actually impossible to come home from based on the hours. I'm very disappointed because all the duties I would've done would've have ultiized my experience working for the Courier Post, Cheatp Trips and Maximum Research!

Now the interview ran long and I ended up being late for work, so I stayed on the 'phone' longer than scheduled, and I did not get a complete interview... hell didn't even one started!

On the plus side I may have another strong aspect to interview for an even better job, have to remember to return a call first thing in the morning!

Tonight's stream of Borderlands started off with me focused on various side quests related to New Haven and the Scrapyard, but we were joined by random players, one of whom took me to what was essentially and end game area where I was heavily under powered, but the goal was to level me up quickly and to work towards the final boss of the DLC content to be able to get the best loot in the game. Basically I ended up just following around and trying not to get downed or killed... so it ended up being a very unsual night.

Did end up getting achievements sooner than I would have thought all the same, so it worked out in that regard.

Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition Achievements

  • Discovered The Scrapyard: Discovered The Scrapyard
  • Weapon Aficionado: Reached proficiency level 10 with any weapon type
  • Making a Monster: Built the New Car: Monster
  • Pandora-dog Millionaire: Earned $1,000,000
  • Ding! Hardcore: Earned level 30
  • Athena, Out: Rescued Athena

For the raid we dropped in on SweetLinder who was playing Sea of Thieves and Hint: Showdown over at twitch.tv/sweetlindir

Finished a commission requested based on Justice League Dark: Apokolips War, and now my attention turns to a Mass Effect commission request... and top it off I have another request on file for a WWE short story.

Iceman won't be able to join us for Wednesday night's streams, so we're taking a break from Resident Evil 6 this week, and so I'll feature Borderlands instead. I got several side quests to turn in, and if we're joined by the player who was with us tonight, we may go back to that DLC content. We'll see.

The scheduled start time for the next stream is 9:30 PM Eastern over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

Have a good night everyone!

Borderlands, Work and other notes

Hi everyone,

We had work on Monday, and got off to a good start with a solid interview and then it mundane, which wasn't helped by the fact I over ate when I ordered some Chinese Food, but re-heated General Tso's chicken never tastes good!

Tonight's stream of Borderlands saw us taking our time and knocking out various side quests and objectives while making our way to New Haven, which is where Marcos and Scooter hangs out, which also puts to where we can meet Tannis. We had more random help, but my lack of speed when playing a FPS that isn't Overwatch is very apparent. as I struggled to keep up with someone who clearly put in a ton of time into the Borderlands franchise on the console side.

We're continuing Borderlands on Tuesday's stream with the goal of knocking side quests first before meeting with Tannis, depending on where they take me and how easy it is to get around. It will be open to all random players, so it could end up kind of nutty

Borderlands: Game of the Year Edition Achievements

  • Rootinest, Tootinest, Shootinest: Killed 5 Rakk in under 10 seconds
  • There's No "I" In "Team": Completed 15 missions in co-op
  • You call this archaeology?: Applied an elemental artifact
  • .21 Gigawatts: Killed 25 enemies with shock weapons
  • Master Exploder: Killed 25 enemies with explosive weapons
  • Ding! Expert: Earned level 20
  • Made in Fyrestone: Completed all missions in the Arid Badlands
  • Paid in New Haven: Completed 5 missions in the Rust Commons
  • 12 Days of Pandora: Mastered the technology of Pandora

For the raid we dropped in on TokuSHOUTsu during the marathon of Ultraman Ginga S over at twitch.tv/TokuSHOUTsu

Did a lot of writing as well, writing a Persona story based around a corrupted Velvet Room attendant and started work on a new commission request based around Justice League Dark: Apokolips War, while also getting another commission request for a Mass Effect story based around the mission that takes places on Sanctuary in Mass Effect 3

I have a virtual job interview on Tuesday afternoon, hopefully is goes well.

Our next stream is scheduled for 9:30 PM Eastern, assuming there is work in the evening. I might start early if there isn't, but since  I have two stories to write, I may work on those.

So on that note, have a good night and we'll see you next time over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

Progress in Agents of Mayhem

Good morning everyone,

Song of the Day: Can I Change My Time by Tyrone Davis

Yesterday got off to a good start as a new boom arm / mic stand arrive which is a lot more managable than the one I got a few years ago. The key thing is now I can have the mic even further away from the speakers, but it does end up placing it closer to me.

Also had two comic books books, one being the RWBY / Justice League crossover, and the other being the Power Rangers / Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover. Really looking forward to reading both.

Last night's stream of Agents of Mayhem saw a big focus on story related content and leveling up some characters. With the exception of Scheherazade, every other agents side stories are completed. We'll be getting to Scheherazade tonight as her unlock missions become available only after the Gaunt story is completed. At this point I can mostly focus on main story stuff, because I am debating putting in the grind to get every Agents up to level 20.

That said, I did notice that as far as the Xbox version of the game goes, not many people actually finished it. I think it was something like 7% of Xbox players finished the main campaign, which is kind of stunning to me. But I kind of figure if I stick with the main missions the rest of the way, I'll finish Agents of Mayhem within three streams.

So the goal on tonight's stream is obvious, unlocked Scheherazade, do her story missions and then tackle the big story arcs!

Agents of Mayhem Achievements

  • Super Agent: Reach level 40 on any agent.
  • Bombshells: Fully deck out the Bombshells in their signature outfit.
  • Three's Company: Fully deck out Carnage a Trois in their signature outfits.
  • You Got Gaunt!: Complete "Operation: Star Power".
  •  All the Bells and Whistles: Fully upgrade all areas of the ARK

For the raid we dropped in on Kalenal while they were playing Pokemon Scarlet over at twitch.tv/kalenal

My brother hooked me up with some food from Checkers yesterday, it made for a nice change of pace of eating healthy.

You know, there are times I truly believe Naoki Yoshida aka Yoshi-P is a complete idiot... and it's mostly due to him trying to justify something stupid like only a PlayStation console can handle anything Final Fantasy related.

Got some writing done on the Dragon Ball short story commission, using flash backs have allowed for it to flow a lot better.

So on that note we'll see you later over on http://twitch.tv/fredcasden

We wrapped up the Classic version of Mass Effect 2

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream saw us finish the classic version of Mass Effect 2, and I was right to start a bit early, since Lair of the Shadowbroker took about an hour and forty-five minutes to complete, which was a fun mission. I totally forgot to apply Liara's ability points, so I thought all she had was Singularity as an ability, which probably made some parts harder than it needed to be.

From there it was getting the Reaper IFF and recruit Legion... which later revealed the issue I had with Samara's Loyalty mission last night, because once we did Legion's Loyalty mission, the argument between him and Tali forces me to choose a side. Too many Paragon choices made along the way threw things out of whack, so when I get around to playing the classic version of Mass Effect 3... the Geth are basically screwed. It's not the first time that's happened, and it's certainly not ideal.

I also made three mistakes during the final mission, choosing Legion and Samara for the vents and long walk portion, and not taking Miranda for the final boss. Why does this mater? Because if you pick Tali for the vents, Jack for the long walk and take Miranda for the final boss, the first two gets referenced in Mass Effect 3, and Miranda basically quits Cerberus at the end of Mass Effect 2. Little details like that mater folks.

Still, it's always great to play a Mass Effect game, not sure when we'll do Mass Effect 3, because of all the charts I need to reference to find all the items to get nearly everything done in that game. Also, we finished Mass Effect 2 with 59 of 60 achievements unlocked. The final three achievements are well.. things I rather not do.

Mass Effect 2 Achievements

  • Most Dangerous Game: Defeat the Shadow Broker’s Assassin
  • Heart of Darkness: Confront the Shadow Broker
  • Detail Orientated: Use all information terminals in the Shadow Broker’s stronghold
  • Catching Up: Reminisce with Liara on the Normandy
  • Power Gamer: Reach Level 30 with one character
  • Friend or Foe: Obtain geth technology
  • A House Divided: Hack a geth collective
  • Paramour: Successfully pursue a relationship with a teammate
  • Suicide Mission: Use the Omega 4 Relay
  • Against All Odds: Survive suicide mission
  • Long Service Medal: Complete Mass Effect 2 twice, or complete it once with a character imported from Mass Effect 1
  • Mission Accomplished: Save humanity throughout the galaxy from certain annihilation
  • No One Left Behind: Keep your team alive through the suicide mission

Twitch Clip Links

For the raid we dropped in on Birthday_Shark who was playing the Legendary Edition of Mass Effect 2 over at twitch.tv/Birthday_Shark!

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout featured Difficulty Challenge Combo #2, Difficulty Challenge Combo #3 and Difficulty Challenge Combo #1

Going to have to make a couple of roster moves for my Fantasy Baseball team, always  got to check it, because one never knows with those day to day injuries.

Did an Alliance raid run of The Copied Factory last night, there are some parts of that I really like and some parts I really hate... good news is I now have all the orchestral rolls for it unlocked.

You know when I was told I would be the only one on an assignment for work yesterday, they weren't kidding. Which raises the question why some things aren't set up like that to make sure folks have work consistently

Ric Flair is apparently training to have another match... and all I can think of is the original Nature Boy, Buddy Rogers, who was doing the same thing back in 1991-1992. It did not end well for him.

The CW is up for sale, and a lot of shows that air on it, such as DC's Legends of Tomorrow, have not been renewed. There is speculation that nearly everything on the CW is going to get cancelled out right and that Warner Brothers-Discovery is going to create a new version of the Arrowverse on HBO Max, I'm not at all surprised to be honest.

Again, I'm not at all surprised by the Phillies troubles, the bullpen and rotation wasn't really addressed at all, and if the offense isn't putting up a ton of runs, then they will continue to lose ball games.

If you're a streamer or looking to get into streaming, check out what Xsplit has to offer over HERE and use the promo code CASDEN to save 10% on your order.

For tonight's stream, it's back to Fallout 76 for more silliness in trying to get quests done!

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!

A Chang'e Of Scenery

Good morning everybody,

From this point forward, I'm dropping the Today's Notes & Date from the posts, just a minor change because In part some of these entries are written the previous day.

Last night's stream lead off with Smite, playing only Arena matches because they eat up a fair amount of time and were going to switch over to play The Division in the second half of the stream. We played six matches total, winning three of the, so a nice 50/50 split much like with Overwatch. Big thanks to LvStrkR for joining in on a few matches as well! Here are the specific match results and which god I used. Stats are Kills / Deaths / Assists with the KDA being how many Kills & Assists I had per each of my deaths in that match

Smite Arena Match Results

  1. Chang'e - Win - 9 / 6 / 13 / 2.58 KDA
  2. Chang'e - Win - 6 / 2 / 12 / 6 KDA
  3. Chang'e - Loss - 1 / 6 / 7 / 0.75 KDA
  4. Chang'e - Loss - 3 / 9 / 13 / 1.06 KDA
  5. Chang'e - Win - 4 / 6 / 13 / 1.75 KDA
  6. Athena - Loss - 4 / 11 / 18 / 1.18 KDA

Now you made notices the obvious that I was using Chang'e. and that's because Smite has long term achievements, and one is to use each character enough times to having reach Rank 10, and with Chang'e I'm at rank 7 following last night's matches. With over a 100 characters based on deities in the game, it's something that will take awhile to do, and often I run hot and cold with my willingness to play Smite. Also playing as Chang'e allowed me to use their name as a pun for this entry's title.

With the Division this week, Iceman and I focused on the Underground, going into each to random generated mission with the goal of finding collectables as well as leveling up. There are specific achievements tied to the Underground DLC for The Division, and it's a good way to keep going back to that game. As always big thanks to Iceman for being apart of the fun! Did earn one achievement last night

Tom Clancy's The Division Achievements

  1. Those Signature Moves: Activate any of the Signature Skills 100 times.

Twitch Clips From Last Night

Following the stream we raided LifeWithStan (twitch.tv/LifeWithStan) who was playing Subnautica, they are very upbeat and engaging, be sure to check them out!

Off stream, played some Street Fighter V and I realized I can easily do another Street Fighter V stream focused on chasing one achievement based around doing the story mode with the original characters the game launched with. Also picked up an achievement as well!

Street Fighter V Trophies

  1. Win Or Die Tryin': It's about time you cleared Survival Mode on normal difficulty. You know what happens if you refuse, don't you? Let's just say the only way you live is if you keep on winning!

We added four Funko Pops to the collection yesterday. Moira (Overwatch / Pop! Games #490), Killer Frost (The Flash / Pop! Television #1098), Alfred E. Newman (Mad Magazine / Pop! #29) and Ripley Holding Jonesy (Alien / Pop! Movies # 733). The Ripley is marked as being a limite Edition  to celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Alien movie franchise which is pretty cool. Currently looking for two more Funko's to complete a display that is on my desk's shelving. Once it's complete I'll share a picture.

Found my PlayOverwatch page featuring all of my PC stats: https://playoverwatch.com/en-us/career/pc/FredCasden-1202/. Real nice to have all my stats out there for the world to see... unlike most players who hide their stats.

Added a modified PlayStation Slim to the collection as well, as a way to both preserve the PlayStation 2 and 3, as well as possibly being able to play games that were exclusives to the PAL or NTSC-J regions. I have one in particular in mind that folks may be interested in seeing if I can track it down reasonably enough. Though the more I think about it, searching for a modified PS2 would have been more logical.

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 Daily Workout lasted 31 minutes with an estimated calorie burn of 544 kcal. The exercises for today were Left Right Step Combo, Advanced Combo #2 and Double Combo #2. For the Lin's Champion achievement were are up to 47 out of 50.

I see that Spider-Man: No Way Home is basically taking elements from the god-awful One More Day story-arc... which just serves as a reminder to me that Joe Quesada can go fuck himself.

For tonight's stream we will lead off with Star Trek Online, and once we've completed the Endeavor Quests and do some quick Task Force stuff, we'll be playing episode 2 of Life Is Strange.

So on that note, we'll se you later tonight over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!

Drace's Impossible Question: What franchise has produced the biggest roster of intensely f*ckable characters?

Over on twitter, one of my favorite fan fic writers Drace Domino asked the question, "In your opinion, what franchise has produced the biggest roster of intensely fuckable characters? Not your favorite one, not where your personal waifu lives, but the property that’s been the biggest hottie factory over the years". For me this is an impossible question to answer when I really sit down to think about it, but I'll through what I came up over the past hour.

Being straight up, as some know I spent a large part of my free time from 2004-2020 writing fan fics based around the world of pro wrestling with Kristi, and so I can easily say that the Professional Wrestling as a whole probably would be at the top of the list, since promotions typically will hire performers who have certain looks and appeal to bring in an audience. Hell a lot of people are upset at the WWE because they are turning NXT back into its intended purpose as a developmental show to help bring along the next wave of men and women that people will find appealing to watch and grow attachment too instead of being a 'super indy', but that's beside the point. The fact is sex appeal is a huge part of pro wrestling.

But going beyond that, let's talk about Star Trek where you will find a wide variety of characters that can easily fit the build of Drace's Question. Hell the original series alone basically had a 'babe / hunk' of the episode to various degrees, but then you factor in the Animated Series, the Next Generation, Deep Space Nine, Voyager, Enterprise...and then look at things beyond the shows. The Starfleet Academy PC game in the mid 90s certainly delivers with the characters of Faith Gage, Maggie Horn, Vanda M'Giia & Jana Akton. Now go look into the comics particularly when DC and Marvel there is a treasure trove of characters to pull from, but let's stick with the Starfleet Academy vibe where you got T'Priell, Kyethn Zund, Pava Ek'Noor Aqabaa & Kamilah Goldstein,

But since we're moved in the realm of comic books with this, Marvel and DC Comics basically built up their their respective empires on the look and appeal of the men and women in the illustrated publications for close to 100 years now. From Superman to Wonder Woman to Harley Quinn to Nightwing to Spider-Man to Rogue to She-Hulk to Luke Cage, you really have no shortage of characters that one would consider doing the deed with, or imagining getting it on with others within their respective universe. Hell just look at the rosters of the Justice League and X-Men in any given year since the 1980s and you know there's a whole lot of fans figure out who's banging who.

But consider that Marvel has had a history of cross overs with Capcom, and this topic easily considers everything from the Street Fighter franchise, the Darkstalters franchise and so on. Hell fighting games in general have always been built around how characters look in addition to the game play. Consider how over the top the designs for many of the characters are in Street Fighter, and the backlash that came when Mortal Kombat 11's characters were 'tone down' in comparison to MKX and you realized just how much things like that matter to the core audience. Then you look at franchises like Dead or Alive whose entire premise is based around how fuckable the entire cast looks to be.

Then you got things like RPGs, JRPGs in particular... and big topic of interest whenever a new Final Fantasy game is announced is what will the characters look like, and hell folks had a fucking field day with the boy band looks of the Noctis and his buds in Final Fantasy XV, but then you go back and realize there were a lot of fuckable characters in every FF game, Tifa, Yuffie, Rikku, Lighting, Squall, Cloud, Tidus all instantly come to mind.  Hell just look at Chrono Cross, a game I'm currently featuring on my Twitch channel and realize that a good chunk of it's cast, male and female, folks would find fuckable. And let's not forget about Kingdom Hearts which combines the Final Fantasy aspect of things with Disney's beauties.

Disney has done more than it's fair share over the years, and everyone can easily find just about every character, male or female getting the Rule 34 treatment. Hell Frozen basically became a huge money maker for Disney based solely on Elsa's looks alone, but just go back to the 90s with the Disney renaissance of that period, from Aladdin & Jasmin to Eric & Ariel to Belle & The Beast, Disney knew what they were doing, and they weren't the only ones. Example: Everyone mocks the yellow jumpsuit attire of April O'Neil in the 1987 TMNT series now a days, but when you realize that outfit design showed off her figure combine with the fact in the first story arc you have Michelangelo basically copping a feel on her and that just speaks for itself.. Then you got My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic and the very existence of its spin off Equestria Girls which is mostly based on the fact Hasbro realized what their audience included

I would be remiss if I didn't mention Overwatch, and that's a tough one where it certainly has a wild variety of characters but it's a real small sample size based on the game and it's expanded content in terms of books and comics. Hopefully that will be expanded upon in Overwatch 2.

Seriously, I could go down this rabbit hole all day trying to answer the question, because I didn't even go deep into Mass Effect, RWBY, Doctor Who, the Arrowverse... or just your typical anime with the likes the of Dragon Ball!

Anyway, this was a fun little thing to write as it certainly got me thinking!

Today's Notes 8/19/21: Ehrgeiz Is Awesome!

Good morning everybody,

We had a lot of fun last night with a triple header of PlayStation games, Ehrgeiz, Rampage World Tour and Rival Schools: United By Fate.

First, the big game of the night was Ehrgeiz, which was published by SquareSoft before they became SquareEnix, it is a fighting game that has a full 360 arena combat, this is not like Tekken or Virtual Fighter where you side step to one side or another, in Ehrgeiz you can move in any direction. The controls while basic are very friendly for new comers, as I was able to figure out some basic combos with the characters I used. The controls are very responsive, better than most fighting games from that late 90s period.

Graphically, Ehrgeiz is a gorgeous game, the character 3D models look great, and thus the Fight Fantasy VII characters that I saw (Cloud, Yuffie, Tifa and Sephiroth) look really damn good, and it's probably this game that made people want to see a remake of Final Fantasy VII with how the characters looked in a proper 3D environment with character models to match.

When it comes to how the game sounds the music is incredible, regardless if you use the original or the arranged sets. All the sound effects, plus the grunts and groans expressed by the characters sound pretty solid.

There are character endings for getting through the arcade mode, but I'm not sure if it's just for clearing the initial battles, because after facing Django, there is a fight against some monster during the credits and I'm not sure if you have to beat it to get the endings. I cleared arcade mode as Yoko, defeated the creature and saw her ending, then did it as Sephiroth, got killed by the creature and saw a Final Fantasy VII music video. Needless to say there's a debate about this.

Will I stream this again... probably, because there are characters to unlock and there is an RPG build into the game that might be interesting to check out..

We then checked out Rampage: World Tour, and clearly this was just button mashing fun, and it is something that should get a modern day port with online play because tearing up the world as 1 of 3 monsters would be incredible. We cleared about 20 stages before moving on... but only then did I realize, this game has an auto save feature, which means it might actually be possible to beat! Would probably make for a hell of a marathon stream.

We closed out the night with Rival Schools: United By Fate, using the arcade disc and doing a classic using Akira to celebrate her being added to Street Fighter V this week. It's too bad I'm so use to burning meter that getting to fight Hyo is damn near impossible for it since to reach the true boss in this game you have to win certain fights under certain conditions which I believe is to beat Raizo or his partner with a burning vigor attack to win a round.

Anyway here's a list of clips from last night's stream!

Following last night's stream we raided Kalenal over on twitch.tv/kalenal, they were playing Final Fantasy XIV Online. If you're into Stream Raiders, Kalenal is a great channel to watch while waiting for the next battle!

Arriving in the mail today were 8 additions to the gaming collection: Gears of War, Gears of War 2, Gears of War 3, Gears of War: Judgement and Gears of War 4. All 5 games I have digitally (big thanks to Iceman for hooking me up with the X-Box 360 games last year. With the exception of Gears of War 4 which is factory sealed, the other four games are all used, but not like the discs are going to see much action. And Yes I did say there were 8 additions, the other three were Life is Strange Before The Storm Limited Edition & Life Is Strange 2 for the Xbox One, and Fate/Extella The Umbral Star Noble Pahntasm Edition for the PlayStation 4. I'm currently looking for the original Life is Strange for the Xbox One to complete the set

Added 2 items to my comic book collection> The Adventures of Superman #602 and Legion of Heroes #31.

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 Daily Workout lasted 31 minutes with an estimate calorie burn of 487 kcal. The exercises for today were Hook Combo #1, Block Combo and Waist Shape Focus Combo.... and all of these were just focus on my midsection. We're up to 98 out of 100 for the Karen's Best Friend achievement, which means will hit that tomorrow... a day later than I predicted earlier in the week.

For tonight's stream we will lead off with Star Trek Online with the usual endeavor quests and such, and we'll pair it up with maybe some fun on the Xbox One.

And on that note we'll see you later tonight over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!

Today's Notes 3/18/21

Good morning everybody,

So Comcast Update, I again tried calling the Corporate Rep that tried to reach me on Tuesday afternoon (outside of time times I told them that I could easily be reached) and again got their voice mail. thankfully yesterday's work day and last night's stream didn't have any issues of note.

Last night's stream of ESPN Major League Baseball saw six games being played, two wins over the Detroit Tigers, two wins and a loss against the Kansas City Royals and a win over the Montreal Expos. I joke that my Philadelphia Phillies are so far ahead of the Atlanta Braves in the National League East (and 18 game lead) that I could probably simulate the next month of the season and still have a decent lead. I think though that I would continue to play every game up till we clinch the Division, then simulate the remaining games in order to get to the playoffs. We'll see, because even at doing six games a week it'll take a while to even get to that point.

Also Last night I finally tested the disk drive of the PS3 off-stream we recently acquired, and it reads discs find, however it is a little snug in terms of inserting the disk and ejecting them. This was noted to me before I received it, but other than that it does work fine. I was reminded at how long it takes for things to be installed on it when trying out Gran Turismo 5 last night (and how unnatural the controls feel after years of playing kart racers). Also we did give Mortal Kombat vs DC Universe last night, doing an arcade ladder run with Scorpion. There might be some trophies that I could possibly get with some of the older games to boost my PSN score which is nice to know.

Over on the Ghostbusters Youtube channel, two episodes were added yesterday, The Scaring of the Green from the Real Ghostbusters series, and The Luck of the Irish from Extreme Ghostbusters. Both episodes revolve around Saint Patrick's Day, and kind of revolve around the same plot as the decedents of those who stole a pot of gold are pursued by a ghostly force (a Bog Hound in the RGB episode, a leprechaun in the XGB one). The funny thing is, by putting both episodes up yesterday, that means the episodes for both series are now out of order so we'll see if that gets fixed retroactively or not down the line. Also kind of a cool note, The Scaring of the Green first aired November 16, 1987.... and The Luck of the Irish first aired on November 3, 1997... real cool that these episodes aired nearly 10 years a part!

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 session was solid, kept focused on the task at hand, only had one miss. Because by the time I started my workout, there was no an opportunity to start working on doing Free Exercise's with Hiro as the trainer, but we'll get to that probably over the weekend.

Tonight we have Star Trek Online planned
as per usual for a Thursday night stream, and so we'll see how things go, as last night's stream of STO was plagued with issues that all traced back to Comcast.

And on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!
