Ghost of Tsushima and other notes

Tonight's stream saw us finding the last 'quick shot' skill which allows for Jim to have a flaming sword, plus closed in on completing Bamboo Strikes and finding various shrines and collectables. 

Now at this point there are two trophies I'm probably not going to get, finding hidden shrines that apparently are not part of the standard set as well as defeating an enemy with fall damage

Ghost of Tsushima will return next Friday as we continue  to explore as much of the third area as possible without advancing the plot.

Tomorrow's stream will see us resuming Persona 4 Golden

For the raid tonight we dropped in on ZoneSama who was playing Splatoon 3

Work was a slog, but it was a recruit assignment as we were looking for people who fit the parameters of a study.

About 60% complete of the commission story based on Arrow, could easily finish it early tomorrow before starting on the next one

Tonight we knocked out the four areas to find the Khan armor in Ghost of Tsushima, and mostly just roamed around finding a couple of side quests (doing one which had a disturbing twist) and found a few things in the extreme northern part of the map. 

I do have an idea of where two light houses are and we're steps closer to completing several the the collectable lists. Way I figure we should finish the Ghost of Tsushima with at least 80% of the Trophies unlocked.

Also completed the Sly Cooper outfit... for the lone trophy earned this evening.

Ghost of Tsushuma returns next Friday for more wandering around action!

Work was solid if unremarkable... will have to reply on my SubscribeStar earnings to make sure I break even after bills get paid next Friday

Speaking of which got a good start on the My Hero Academia story which I should be able to knock out in short order during the day tomorrow 

I did behave myself and not order takeout today... but I did misbehave by having about 5 small meals... and by small I mean at least two of those meals were enough for probably two people.

For tonight's stream of Ghost of Tsushima, we continued to explore the lower half of the map, finding fox shrines and various little fast travel points while also being misdirected by birds. Found the Heavenly Strike side quest which was pretty good, but all in all we avoided two things that would advance the plot.

Tomorrow night we're playing Final Fantasy XIII opening up Chapter 11 and having to save Hope.

Still no word on work resuming... 

Loaded up on Groceries, all the usual pasta related things, but added in some shrimp as well, since iLove how they turn out in the air fryer.

Got to remember to have a salad tomorrow.

Started work on the Spider-Man commission story, finding the right vibe for the intro is forcing me to do something generic, but hell I do need the cash.

 

Ghost of Tushima and other notes

Tonight's stream of Ghost of Tsushima saw me mostly roaming around, finding a few collectable locations along with doing a few side quests, such as wrecking a Shipyard, assisting a character who was looking for the bodies of their sons at the site of the game's opening battle and other a bit of progression into a couple of story arcs that are optional.We did not get any trophies this week.

Tomorrow night we're back to Final Fantasy XIII with Chapter 8, and I do intend to find a spot where apparently we can grind for a lot of CP

We had no work tonight, but I was told we could expect something for Monday

Finished a WWE related commission request, and the next one on my docket is Spider-Man related which I'll be working on over the weekend.

Still have had no luck in finding something to watch when I'm making / having lunch.

Also stepped on a scale.. and yikes... back up to the upper 270s

Persona 5 Tactica and other notes

We started Persona 5 Tactica today, and while it certainly takes a while to get going because of the long opening, this game continues all of the usual charm that I've come to expect from the Persona franchise, The fundamentals are clearly easy to learn but really tough to master, as I'm a complete novice when it comes to tactical based RPGs. The music and voice acting is top quality I fell.

Unlike everyone else, I elected not to the do the DLC story first because I wanted to understand how to play the game, because even on Safe Difficulty, I feel like I have to be very mindful of what moves I make.

We'll continue Persona 5 Tatcia on Monday's stream!

Our next stream will featured Horizon Zero Dawn as I decided not to continue playing Starfield, because at least with HZD I feel like I'm engaged with the content!

Persona 5 Tactica Achievements

• Lavenza's Aid: Gained the ability to fuse Personas.

Word was solid today, a few friendly folks to interview is always nice.

I'm currently working on a Resident Evil commission request, and that should be finish tomorrow... kind of over though out to use some elements of Resident Evil 3 and the chapter is turning out a bit lackluster.

Following it on a back to Back WWE related commissions requests, followed by Batman, Jimmy Neutron, Rooster Teeth, a 3rd WWE story and Star Wars tale. In a way I'm glad I'm off for Thanksgiving, and that some of these are concept that should only get around 2500 words, but of course I'll shoot for 3000 as always.

Horizon Zero Dawn and other notes

Hi everyone,

Tonight's stream went way longer than I intended because I was hoping to knock out all the quest related achievements for Horizon Zero Dawn's Frozen Wilds content, and while we finished the main story, some things certainly tool longer than expected. Still outside of the Hunting lodge in the area we pretty much accomplished everything worth doing so next time we play HZD, which will be next Friday, we'll be back to the base games content in roaming around and finding stuff.

The plan for Saturday's stream is to feature Starfield, but at the moment I'm not to sure if that will be the game we'll play. The stream is scheduled to start around 5 PM Eastern.

Horizon Zero Dawn Trophies

• Reached level 50: Reached player level 50.
• All Combat machines killed: Killed at least one of every type of Combat machine.
• Won the Werak Challenge: Challenged Aratak at the Frostfigures and won.
• Fully Improved Weapons: Acquired the improved versions of three weapons from Varga.
• Completed the Second Expedition: Successfully assaulted Thunder's Drum.
• Conquered the Mountain: Drove out the threat within the mountain.
• Killed 15 Scorchers: Killed 15 Scorcher machines.
• Killed 6 Fireclaws: Killed 6 Fireclaw machines.

Had another good night of work, even if a part of it dragged a little, but got plenty of completes to make some of it fly by.

Did have a job interview, but they couldn't tell me where the office location was for their branch in Philadelphia, so I don't think I'll pursue it, even if the rate of pay would almost make it possible to get there fairly consistently. 

Worked on The Flash story commission but did not finished, it's about 60% complete so I'll work on it first thing in the morning, and probably work on the Persona story, while saving the WWE and Spider-Man commissions I have on deck for Sunday and Monday.

Horizon Zero Dawn and other notes

Hi everyone,

Work got cancelled today, which was frustrating, but it was the least of my problems today as I fell asleep while waiting for something to be boiled, and woke up to my kitchen filled with smoke. Yeah I can doze off just sitting on a chair if I'm not focused on something. Pot was kind of ruined... but otherwise nothing bad happened... as that kind of happened to my mom a few times over the years before she passed away.

Now tonight's stream started around 8:15 PM, I could have started earlier, but we had to installed Horizon Zero Dawn and make sure all of its updates were done on the PlayStation 4. My first impressions of the game is that it's clear a combination of  the modern era Tomb Raider and God of War games, quasi-open world enviroements with things to explore, crafting systems, etc. Visually it's a good looking game, but it's plot is a bit thing so far, despite getting all thew ay to the Point Aloy is named Seeker.

I did make a few jokes about Skynet, as it's real clear that something happened involving machines and humanity being kicked to the stone age. And of course we're playing it on the lowest possible difficulty because I'll be exploring everything I can, and I'm kind of expecting it to take about 40 hours to complete, so possibly 10 to 12 streams, depending on how easy it gets to get around in the game, as I saw there are mounts

Horizon Zero Dawn Trophies

• Followed Rost's teachings: Learned to hunt and fight alongside Rost.
• First Modification: Used a Weapon Coil or Outfit Weave on a modifiable weapon or outfit.
• Defeated the Sawtooth: Defeated the Sawtooth that threatened the Nora.
• Tore off 10 components: Detached 10 components from machines during combat.
• Triumphed in the Proving: Overcame adversity and placed first in the Proving. 

Our next twitch.tv/fredcasden stream  Saturday night is scheduled for 5 PM Eastern, but I may be running late, really depends on when my brother swings by in the afternoon. When it does get started, we're back to Cyberpunk 2077

Finished up the 8th installment of a commissioned series Resident Evil stories and got the go head to work on the 9th. Made the client happy in not just skipping over the Outbreak era of the franchise to include lesser known characters.

Nearly finished the fourth chapter of my Persona series, just need to write the ending and get it formatted for PDF uploads.

Had to take a test involving Excel for a possible job opportunity, but that was a slight problem since I don't have Microsoft Office, instead I used Libre Office and was able to get it done.

So on that note, I'm going to bed! Good night!
