More Fallout 76 Things Plus Overwatch 2 Thoughts

 Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream of Fallout 76 was a lot of fun, as I completed the Fire Breather's training arc, plus Camp McClintock, which surprised me considering the obstacle course had a time limit of 2 minutes and I think it took me more than that amount of time. Big thanks to Iceman for being apart of the gun as we covered a lot of ground as we ended up working on various shared quests that we both have. I do have to say that the amount of stuff that one can carry has certainly lead to me discovering we can't fast travel. On the other hand, finding a fair amount of weapons and gear is going to be interesting until I find the plans needed to craft the stuff I know I'm going to need. On the plus side, I did make a barn so I have a nice little compound where my camp is located.

Oh you know, technically speaking I am on a 3-day Xbox achievement streak... I am not going to get on another long extended one however.

Now what about Overwatch 2? Where first impression from what I experiences is that the Tug of War instance with the Robot is something clearly designed around focusing on the objective. It's literally push the payload as far as possible.Doomfist is literally a dive tank, so those Doom players can still play the same style as they are use to... but unless they are pocketed by a Mercy, Doomfist players will find themselves in trouble if they are too greedy. Orissa is now a literal push tank and if she is boosted by Mercy and gets Anna's nano boost, she becomes a near instant death machine. I did like the Toronto and the Midown maps, as its quite clear a lot of thought have been given to ambush tactics as well as possible PVE scenarios.

Now what is it like playing Overwatch 5 vs 5 instead of 6 vs 6... well there is probably more emphasis on getting things done on objective capture and pushing of the payload on the older maps, since the tanks are beefier. Back captures are really going to be a thing, so being aware of the situation is going to be really important in the long term. That said it's going to be really easy to spawn camp in some situation too because of the more ground to cover. So that said, I look forward to featuring Overwatch 2 on Saturday's stream, which means we'll have back to back nights of it, with standard Overwatch on Sunday night, so we can play with our regulars.

Also on a side note, it appears the build for Overwatch 2 is pulling from what people had as their character skins from early February, when the Lunar New Year was happening.

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout featured a 30 minute workout. I forgot to write down the notes of which exercises because I had issues with AMD's software not updating when the drivers for the graphics card were.

Officially added Deadpool and Golden Axe: Beast Rider for the PlayStation 3 to the collection, of the two game, Deadpool is the one I would mostly be able to finish during a couple of streams.

Sgt. Slaughter has signed a multi-year deal with Hasbro which means his G.I. Joe counterpart will be returning to the franchise, which is awesome!.

Have I mentioned that Push Polls are a pain in the ass to work on because of how thinly disguised their questions are when it comes to interviewing people?

Taking Our Time In Chrono Cross

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream once again had an interrupt thanks to Xfinity, but on the plus side with the stream split it two, it does mean extra videos for the YouTube Channel. Got to look on the bright side right? In terms of what exactly was accomplished in Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition, since we went with the B-Set, that involves not saving Kid, we were able to recruit Macha, Glenn and Doc, plus also snapped up Grecco, Luccia, NeoFio & Pip, who are all not locked to one set of choices unlike the prior three.

We did spend a lot of time facing enemies we probably could have avoided, but since their is the achievement of winning 500 battles, I do want to try and making that possible, but there is no real counter in the game that I can see to tract that progress. As far as the story itself goes, since we were taking our time, going back and finding treasures and such, the big chapter point was dealing with the Ghost Ship invasion of the S.S. Invincible, having Kid rejoin the party and then going to the Home World.

I do know the next time I play Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers Edition (which is scheduled for next Monday), we'll be heading to Water Dragon Isle and the Dwarf Invasion, which means using a lot of Green Elements. I'll probably bench Glenn for that, because he'll be a sitting duck for and yellow element attacks. From there it'll be off to Mount Pyre and navigating the lava falls while trying to get the treasures

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout was kind of FUBAR because I got a call that completely disrupted my mojo this morning. Still managed to get a decent workout in.

Lost an important document, but thankfully I am smart enough to know how to get another official copy of it. Granted the process takes longer than it should, but it is what it is.

I did not get an invite for the Overwatch 2 PVP Beta that is happening, not sure how Blizzard is rolling that out because they really didn't make it clear how folks are being picked for it. Still did a few runs of Junkensteins' Revenge last night to wind down.

Did an Alliance Raid in FInal Fantasy XIV last night Labyrinth of the Ancients, in what would've been a smooth run, I got stuck with a group that was interested in everything but the objectives at hand. It was a real chore to get through.

We might be adding two PlayStation 3 titles to the collection later in the week, Deadpool and Golden Axe: Beast Rider. Deadpool we have played before, and though the character is fully under the Disney umbrella, I highly doubt the game will be re-released anytime soon unless it's tied in with a third Deadpool movie. Golden Axe: Beast Rider is often blamed for the 'death' of Sega's Golden Axe franchise because of how troubled its development was. I figure that would be worth checking out.

For tonight's stream, the plan is to continue roaming around and gradually doing things in Fallout 76!

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!
