We're Past The Third Gym!

Good afternoon everyone,

Well I've never seen the a huge queue in an online multiplayer game until I saw a 3,000+ one to get into Final Fantasy XIV! But more on that later!

Last night's stream of Pokemon Shining Pearl saw a weird crash where I had to play a portion of it over again, but it was alright, as we did clear the third gym... and thankfully my routine of over leveling my Pokemon worked out for the best... even through one member of the squad is lagging behind because I finally found a fire type, Ponyta! So my team also features an Electric, Water, Grass, Psychi and Flying type, with them some behind able to use moves from other types to really balance things out. With the exception of Ponyta, my entire team is at level 30 or above, so I should be able to outpace the gym leaders.

Now I did discover I will have to play a bit during the day in order to evolve one Pokemon, namely Budew... apparently it will only evolve during the day, which is a concept I'm glad did not exist in Pokemon Shield or Let's Go Eevee. I do think the different evolution were over thought by the developers... they really assume folks would be playing at various times of days to get things done.

We'll continue Pokemon Shining Pearl next Friday, which seems like the best night of the week for it!

After the stream we sent the fun over to GlorifiedThief who was playing Zero Escape: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors over at twitch.tv/Glorifiedthief!

Twitch Clip Links

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout featured Uppercut Combo #1, Body Straight Combo and Triple Combo #1 for a duration of 31 minutes with an estimated calorie burn of 442 kcal

Now back to Final Fantasy XIV, the removal of the Aether Compass certainly had me confused, as there was a 'collection tab' under the duty section, where I then had to rebind it to my command bar. That said, I love the fact that one of the changes for Bards is that they could get buffs from their own music, which according to Kalenal was something that has been requested for years! Also did the 'boost' to get to level 80 and to get the maxed gear to make anything and everything I have to deal with in Shadow Bringers easier.

Now as far as the queues go, during last night's stream I logged into Final Fantasy XIV to see what it was at, and it was over 3,000  around 11:30 PM Eastern, so I figure I would start the log in process for tonight's stream early a,d then start the stream accordingly to avoid waiting to get into the game!.I finally reached the start of ShadowBringers, so we we may bounce between it's early MSQ stuff and doing dungeons, raids and other nonsense.

So yes we are playing Final Fantasy XIV tonight, but I think I'll be balancing MSQ stuff with Dungeons, raids and things.

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!

Just Another Fun Night of Overwatch And A Bonus Stream Of Fitness Boxing 2

Good morning everyone,

A new week starts as we have all sorts of things to consider over the coming days of what to feature and when!

Last night we of course played Overwatch, and big thanks as always to PandaSweet for joining in on several matches. We got into a hot stretch where we went 8 and 2 in our final 10 matches of the night. The night did include a couple of Mayhem matches as well, and I picked up 5 Plays of the Game, 4 as D.va and 1 as Junkrat. So a real successful night on Overwatch! Woo-Hoo!

Of course the big Overwatch news is that the Halloween Terror event starts on Tuesday October 12 and will run until November 2, and so far we know that Reinhardt and Roadhog will have new skins. The question now becomes, who else will have new attire? And what new 'achievements' will be tied to Junkenstein's Revenge this year.

Following the stream we sent the fun over to glorifiedthief who was playing Zero Escape: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors over at twitch.tv/glorifiedthief!

Twitch Clip Links

Off-stream Final Fantasy XIV stuff is that I'm gradually making progress through the main story, but the placement of NPCs can be really odd. I get and appreciate Square Enix wanting to make it feel like a living world so that you don't find certain characters in the same spot when on a quest... but a way point finder would be useful when NPCs are in a building that is underneath where the map is indicating where they should be standing! That said the off-stream adventures  saw a familiar sight, at least when compared to Final Fantasy XV: Fighting Ifrit and getting a Chocobo, also joined the Twin Adder because well... I started in Gridania.

The guy who commissioned the two fics I've done last week basked around RWBY and Harry Potter is wanting more, hell he sent a list of stuff for me to consider taking on, but if there is one thing people know about me when it comes to fan fic writing its that I'm not really keen on repeated use of the same themes and characters unless it's something I'm really invested in.

There's been a lot pointed out at how the WWE's Women Division has seen a down turn as of late, and it all goes back to the a lot of the decisions of who was let go back in the spring of this year. The WWE would rather turn the Women's Division back into the bathroom break filler matches it was of the LayCool/Divas Title era than for the women to get equal time for their stories and characters to developer.

Star Trek Online is kicking off it's Halloween event on Wednesday so for sure we're going to feature that to start of that night's stream, and The Simpsons game will resume on Friday night to finish it's second half.

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 Daily Workout lasted 31 minutes with the following exercise Intermediate Combo #2, Advanced Combo #1 and Weaving Combo #1 with the estimated calorie burn of 503.kcal. We also did an extra set featuring Difficult Challenge Combo #1 which added 103 kcal. Total session was 37 minutes with the estimated calorie burn being 606 kcal. This session was also streamed as a surprise as I tried use the Xsplit Cam set up.

Since this session was streamed the fun was set over to Sw33ts_gaming who was playing Smite this morning over at twitch.tv/sw33ts_gaming!

Bonus Twitch Clip Links

Tonight's stream will see focus return to The Walking Dead with Season Two, which takes place a couple of years after the events of Season One, so Clementine is a bit older and is the star of the show. This will be a lot of fun!

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!

Today's Notes 8/22/21: We Have All Eight Badges

Good afternoon everyone,

I did not get up till 1 PM Eastern... just wanted to point that out first

Yesterday was weird as I called into work to see if they needed help, and imagine my surprise when I'm told 'yes' because 'everyone was falling behind' and I was too 'kick butt'. So what do I do is get back to back completes and suddenly everyone else got on a hot streak. Guess if I suddenly show up and get things done it means everyone else needed to get their butts in gear. So that was a good feeling.

Anyway, on to last night's stream of Pokemon Let's Go Eevee, which saw us heading for the Seafoam Islands first... and I happened to stumble across Articuno, I wasn't actually looking for it, I just happened to find it while working my way through the cavern of Seafoam Island. Imagine my surprise at how easily Eevee was able to take it on using the Buzzy Buzz, and then capturing it was no where near as big a pain in the ass as Zapados was last week!

From there we went over to Cinnabar Island to tackle the Pokemon Mansion to get the key needed to face Blane to get the Fire-badge. Oddly enough, there is a way to avoid battling his gym's trainers just by answering five trivia questions correctly, which is what we did by looking up the answers for the two questions I did not know! Between Eevee and Blastoise we were able to wipe out his entire squad of Fire Pokemon.

With now seven badges in hand, it was back to Viridian City to face Giovanni one last time to take the gym badge. We didn't have too much trouble, tackling Giovanni's trainers, but when facing him, he did managed to have one of my Pokemon, Victreebel, knocked out, but we just went to Eevee to seal the win and to get the Earth badge, making for a total of 8

So with this all done, next Saturday's stream will be focused on the journey to get to the Indigo Plateau to face the Elite Four... and that journey means we'll probably come across Moltres, the last of the three legendary bird Pokemon. If all goes right we should be able to finish Pokemon Let's Go Eevee next week!

Now here's the list of clips from last night' stream

After the stream we raided Kalenal (twitch.tv/kalenal) who was playing Final Fantasy XIV!, Kal does stream regularly on Mondays, Wednesdays and Saturdays!

It's Sunday which means we have a new highlight reel, and I've changed the format to use 30 second clips. Anyway this past week we played Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm & Exercise, Overwatch, Chrono Cross, Ehrgeiz, Rampage: World Tour, Rival Schools: United By Fate, Star Trek Online, Life is Strange, South Park, South Park Chef's Luv Shack, South Park Rally, Vs & Pokemon Let's Go Eevee!

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout lasted 31 minutes with an estimated calorie burn of 519 kcal. The exercises for today were Triple Combo #2, Intermediate Combo #1 and the Biceps Shape Focus Combo. We're going to be sticking with Lin as the trainer as we now focused on earning the Lin's Champion achievement which is to train with Lin for over 50 hours. Currently we're at 44 out of 50 for that.

With all the organizing I've been doing of stuff lately, I thought I lost the journal I was using for when I was playing the Zero Escape trilogy... turns out it was sitting on a digital clock...

For tonight's stream we're playing Overwatch as we do every Sunday! There will be Mayhem matches in the first hour and then the focus will be on Quick Play matches. Also the Pirate Bastion skin is rather neat. We'll get started around 7 PM Eastern!

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!

Today's Notes 8/18/21: The Part Where Chrono Cross Address Everything Wrong With Chrono Trigger

Good morning everyone,

We begin with last night's stream of Chrono Cross where we continued on to the Dead Sea, and while the battle against the Highwayman was almost a cakewalk, the battle against Miguel was everything I was dreading because unlike nearly every other boss fight to that point, Miguel actually combos some abilities, such as using a Turn Black element followed by a powerful White Innate element to devastate my team. Now I did try to plan for the fight, building around Blue Innate Elements because he wouldn't be able to seal those and thus I could chip away at him with what ever elements I had on hand with the hope of maybe triggering Frog Prince (note: was not successful at that)

From there it was off to the 'Other World' to rescue Riddle at Viper Manor while recruiting Zoah, Karsh, Marcy, Viper, Fargo and of course Riddle herself. Since we went back to the 'Other World' I was able to have characters met their duplicates, Norris, FunGuy Van & Zappa in particular. The rescue of Riddle was pretty straight forward with various puzzles, good thing I had the strategy guide on hand otherwise I might have missed something.

Now since we dealt with the Dead Sea and Miguel, this means we should address the issue with Chrono Cross as a sequel to Chrono Trigger.  Let's keep in mind that I did not care for Chrono Trigger as a I feel it's an over bloated mess with all the time travel that feels off in terms of how it deals with the consequences of time travel, it's treated  as big happy go lucky adventure to save the world. Yeah but first rule of time travel is that when you change something in the past it does effect the future and that's barely addressed in Chrono Trigger. The entire concept of Chrono Cross is based around fighting fate and the consequences of doing one thing or another.

We see that through out Chrono Cross with every character that has a duplicate where there are huge differences. Serge is a alive in one timeline, dead in the other, Van and his father are rich in one timeline and poor in the other, Fargo is a pirate ship captain in one timeline and a captain of a cruise ship in the other... and what lead to each of those fates (and those of others through out Chrono Cross) is the choice that were made. In Chrono Trigger, we never saw the results of all the tampering that was done, how lives were possibly ruined by Chrono, Lucca, Marle and the rest of the gang, it's more of just chasing down Lavos and stopping it no matter the cost, while in Chrono Cross we do see how certain choices and lead to a difference in how things play.

Hell a lot of this is really cover in Harle's dialog with Serge once he and Lynx exchange bodies, regarding who is to say one reality is better than another.

I'm sure that probably pissed a lot of folks off.... and here's one more... Chrono Cross has better game play that Chrono Trigger... BITE ME!

Anyway, here's the list of clips from last night for you to enjoy!

Following the stream we raided SmoresDaFloof who was playing Final Fantasy XIV Online, they were one of the first people I came across when I started streaming (at the time they were using a different name) and they use to play a lot of Overwatch (they are why I got interested in that game). It is funny that when Smores saw what i was playing their reaction was of shock of wondering how I was playing Chrono Cross since it is a game of great significance to them Anyway you can check out SmoresDaFloof over on twitch.tv/smoresdafloof

Speaking of Overwatch, I had three consecutive games of Mayhem last night playing as D.va where I didn't die once... also managed to earn Play of the Game in all three matches.

We added a trio of games to the collection, Raging Loop and Root Letter, both for the PlayStation 4... these are both visual novels and I figure they were serve as great 'Saturday Night' games the way the Zero Escape trilogy did. Also tracked down the PlayStation 2 Metal Slug Anthology which collects the all 7 of the Metal Slug games... I believe there is a PS4 digital version, if there is, we might just stream that and leave the PS2 version permanently sealed.

And as I was writing this, today's mail arrived and we added Disney Pixar's Brave for the PlayStation 3,  Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse (also the for the PlayStation 3) and Family Guy: The Video Game for the PlayStation 2. Brave and Family Guy: Back to the Multiverse I have streamed before using the Steam versions, so the PS3 versions will allow us to go after the PlayStation achievements.

As I was organizing my shelves yesterday (finally), I found a copy of WWF Betrayal for the Gameboy Color. Released in August of 2001, it is a beat 'em up, where you are to rescue Stephanie McMahon at the request of Vince McMahon and in return he'll give you a WWF Championship opportunity... so you could say the Billion Dollar Princess is in another castle. The funny thing is that there was a story line in 1999 where Stephanie was kidnapped by the Ministry of Darkness and Vince begged Steve Austin to rescue her. in WWF Betrayal you play as either Austin, The Rock, The Undertaker (in the American Bad Ass gimmick) or Triple H, and depending on who you choose, the other three will serve as bosses for you to deal with. Anyway, I remember it being an okay little game that had limited replay value, but I do remember there being some actual story variance particularly if you play as Triple H since he's the only heel as an option to play as.

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout lasted 31 minutes with an estimated calorie burn of 455 kcal. The exercises for today were Weaving Combo #2, Straight Combo #1 and Beginner Combo #2. We're up to 96 out of 100 for the Karen's Best Friend achievement , proving my guess that we would knock it out by Thursday wrong, because of how Fitness Boxing 2 will alternate giving 2 and 3 points for a daily work out. So we'll knock it out on Friday.

For tonight's stream, Iceman said he won't be available, so we'll do some random gaming and just have a good time!

And on that note we'll see you later  around 6:30 PM Eastern over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!

Today's Notes 5/24/21: Overwatch, Mortal Kombat & More!

Good morning everybody,

Woke up a bit before 7 AM today, maybe because I slept in yesterday leading to me waking up super early today, but who knows how that works out. Still we're up and doing things.

Last night's stream of Overwatch saw the first hour being dedicated to archive missions before settling into playing Quick Play matches the rest of the night. I picked up two plays of the game, both as D.va which is always nice, and had some real good moments playing as Tracer in Quick Play matches that surprised me. Big thanks to PandaSweet for being apart of a lot of the fun last night! And of course have some clips from last night while I'll list here.

Twitch Clips: That was slick

Twitch Clips: Chasing Dva With Torb's Hammer

Following the stream, I turned my attention back to Mortal Kombat 11, chasing two more achievements last night, meaning at this moment I have 54 out of the games 58 achievements. The two final four are tied to completing 250 towers (I'm at 60% for it), play 50 Casual online matches (I'm at 12%) so those I will get with time. Then there are the other final two achievements which are both tied to the tutorial which I'm just going to dread trying to complete. But since we're so close, I might as well try, even if it's going to frustrate the hell out of me. Anyway here are the two achievements we unlocked last night.

  1. Victorious: Equip 5 different character victories
  2. Total Disrespect: Defeat an opponent as Bug-Vorah

Wet to Daemonswolf over at https://www.darkwolfcreative.com for a new start screen image, with the basic instructions of basing it on the famous Breakfast Club poster, beyond that DaemonsWolf had free reign to select the characters, and they did a great job, featuring Johnny Gat from Saints Row, Max from Sam & Max, Zagreus from Hades and Luna from Zero Escape: Virtue's Last Reward. This will be serving as the new start screen until I come up with a idea for the next one.

Just saw that Capcom is releasing a new collection of Arcade games, listed as "Capcom Arcade Stadium" and considering how back and forth Capcom has been about taking advantage of their own history in releasing old games in a budget bundle, it's nice to see. Looks like it would be a pretty easy achievement hunt to go through them. So maybe we'll add that as a digital title on the Xbox side, while keeping an eye out for a physical Nintendo Switch release down the road.

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 session was streamed on Twitch, as it has been on Monday's for the past several months, but I had to cut today's session short after finishing the daily because something got my attention. Still the work out was pretty solid. Also clipped a couple of moments from this morning session, showing that while I do my best, it looks awkward as hell!

Twitch Clips: Sway Combo!

Twitch Clips: Block Combo... Is My Life

Tonight we'll be starting up Mass Effect 2, and it will be listed as Mass Effect Legendary Edition, since there is a strong difference between the original version of ME2 and it's LE counter part in that the later will probably result in more viewers. We'll probably start early, based on when I have dinner.

And on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

Today's Notes 4/11/21

Good evening everybody,

Last night's stream of Zero Escape Zero Time Dilemma saw us finish the game, and the series which we started as the Saturday Night Exclusives back at the end of 2020 to replace Twitch Sings. And while we didn't have any puzzle rooms to get through there were a few instances where I had to make a couple of notes in order to wrap up various story lines. The ending certainly wrapped up all things pertaining to the events seen in Virtue's Last Reward and opens the door for another game to take place since it's revealed that reason why Radical-6 was unleashed was to stop an even greater tragedy from happening, though I think because the reception of Zero Time Dilemma was rather weak, we may not see a future game in the franchise.

Anyway, with that game being finished, we're gonna shuffle some thing around for the weekly line up, ESPN Major League Baseball will move from Wednesday Nights to Saturday Nights starting this week, and this Wednesday I'm starting up either Gears of War 3 or Tom Clancy's The Division.

Woke up very late today (about 2 PM EST), so by the time I started my Fitness Boxing 2 session it was about 245 PM). The daily was about 35 minutes with an estimated calorie burn of 550, but I felt pretty pumped afterward, so I did another 25 minutes of Free Exercises. so my my overall totals were 1 hour with 927 calories burned. Because of the extra exercise sets performed, I unlocked Sophie's Buddy, which was to perform 10 free exercises using her as the trainer.  This also means I can see progress regarding Sophie's Best Friend achievement, and I see that's at 53/100.

Tonight's stream will be focused on Overwatch, and we'll mostly being doing different variations of the Archives Events, easy way to grind up levels get loot boxes and so forth. So it's gonna be a pretty chill stream on all fronts.

And on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!

Today's Notes 4/10/21

 Good afternoon everybody,

I've been up since 7 AM this morning because my local utility (PSE&G) was taking care of the next step of upgrading gas lines in the the area. Thankfully I live on a corner, and a good chunk of it was done yesterday morning, so all they had to do was replace the interior gas meter with an exterior version and other related matters pertaining to the gas lines (check the water heater, stove, etc.)

Last night's stream was all over the place as it was a PlayStation 3 stream, which began with The Simpsons Arcade game, which got interrupted because of the PlayStation Network servers for the PS3 is not exactly maintained as well as it use to, and it was a bugger experience 5+ years ago. Still did the entire game as Homer which was a lot of fun.

We then went to WWE SmackDown vs RAW 2009, which had some limited Downloadable Content, but also used passwords to unlock many characters and alternate attires. It took a while to remember how to play it as the controls have changed a lot over the years. Matches played were Hardcore Holly vs The Boogeyman, Tommy Dreamer vs Tazz, Cryme Tyme vs The Brothers of Destruction, Victoria vs Beth Phoenix and a Royal Rumble match. This part of the stream did lead to people asking me if I was going to watch WrestleMania, which I found funny

Next we played Soulcalibur IV, doing an arcade run as Siegfried first to try and remember how to play it, leaving everything on default settings. Surprisingly we managed to get through the arcade mode with a fair amount of difficulty. Also went through the story mode for Hildegard von Krone, and because of the practice using Siefgried we had no problems clearing that. Now if only I could figure out how to do the super moves and so forth.

Finally we ended last night's stream with Star Trek D.A.C. (which stands for Deathmatch, Assault, Conquest), which was a pointless little tie in with the 2009 Star Trek film, but outside of the Constitution Class ship, there is very little involving Star Trek with this game. We did try a few different mods, but the game much like the movie it was inspired by, is a soulless and is good only as filler.

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 session was a solid long effort, and not even counting bonus sets I did. This wasn't done till after I had lunch. Something I did discover in the Free Training section, the thorough stretching selection has a ton of stretches normally not done as apart of a daily workout (if you have that daily routine. Also stepped on a scale and we dropped the little bit of weight we gained recently so that a positive.

This week's Real Ghostbuster episode was Take-Two, perhaps best known for indicating that the Ghostbusters films are based on events that took place off screen in regards to the adventures taking place in the animated series. In fact, there's another episode that I think is called Citizen Ghost which further expands on that. Also Take Two is the one episode where I really dislike Ray as a character to the point I would want to smack him upside his head.

Tonight's stream will focus on finishing up Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma, there are 12 achievements left in the game so we should be able to knock out everything since there are no puzzle rooms left (near as I can tell)

And on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!

Today's Notes 4/4/21

Good afternoon everybody,

Last night's stream of Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma saw a lot being done, with the last of the apparent puzzle rooms being finished, so the rest of the way should be just remembering various facts and things for a couple of decision puzzles. There are 35 in game achievements, and we got 21 of them, and as far as I can tell the rest all involve just going through the story. That said, last night was a lot of fun because of things that happened such as Akane clocking Carlos with a fire extinguisher and beating him to death. Eric's creep factor when it comes to Miro, the revelation that Diane and Sigma are Phi's parents, that everyone is in the same area but are only awake at different times... and that Diane and Sigma's other child Delta is also there, but no one notices him. Hell I took a guess upon learning his name to enter it into a the decision box during the triangle stand off for Team Q to learn that Delta is there. I'ms ure all that will get explain when we wrap this game up next Saturday night.

Best Clip Of The Night: You See That Big Nuclear Reactor....

Following last night's stream I did load up Dragon Age Inquisition to work on one of the side quests that involved getting certain materials for a banner, and fuck me does the game penalize folks for advancing too far too quick because I had to look up on how to get Decorative Gems in the game, and it involved going to a certain spot, saving the game and reloading repeatedly to get a particular set of enemies to appear. Like what the fuck! Good thing I did not do this on stream! But of course Dragon Age Inquisition is on the line up for tomorrow night!

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 session was real solid, but the actual workout length was an 1 hour 5 minutes , because I was hoping to wrap up the last of the achievements associated with Hiro, as we're at 99/100 for what's needed for his Best Friend achievement, so we'll get it tomorrow as part of the weekly Monday bonus stream. I ended up setting new records for myself with an Estimate Calorie Burn of 1033.64, but we did gain a little weight as well over this two weeks.

Tonight we'll be playing Overwatch, and it'll mostly be quick play with maybe some arcade matches as well. There's not an event going on, so it should be a chill yet intense stream because ya'll know how I suspicious I become when I see 'new accounts' playing as if they have put in 1000 hours of practice time into using various characters.

So on that note, we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!

Highlights For The Week of March 28, 2021

Here are the best moments from my twitch channel (http://twitch.tv/fredcasden) for the week of March 28, 2021 which featured Overwatch, Dragon Age Inquisition, Fitness Boxing 2 Rhythm & Music, ESPN Major League Baseball, Star Trek Online, Forza Horizon 4 and Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma!

Today's Notes 4/3/21

 Good afternoon everybody,

Last night's stream featured Forza Horizon 4 which means last night marked the first time we used the Xbox Series S on stream, and outside of when I was going into photo mode to take pictures of cars, there was barely any loading times. We spent a good chunk of the stream on Lego Island because the Lego Mini Cooper is clearly the best car in the game for just about everything. We certainly had a lot of fun to the point we'll have to keep Forza Horizon 4 in mind for nights where I have no real plans.

Clip Of The Night: That Photo Finish!

My copy of My Little Pony / Transformers: Friendship in Disguise arrived yesterday afternoon, and it's a nice brisk read, with short comics pairing up various cast members of both shows, such as Rarity and Arcee, Discord, Fluttershy & Soundwave, etc, and it does come across as we're seeing more side-stories that would take place along side a bigger plot. That's not a bad thing, because it fits the tone of My Little Pony perfectly, however considering some of that shows more epic tales (the Canterlot Wedding episode for example), I would imagine an animated featured would be epic. And I found out there is a sequel mini-series in production with the trade collection coming out in November with it seeming like it's gonna take place in the Transformer's universe. So I wonder if the style of the story for that will be reflective of that franchise.

Republicans and Conservatives should be ashamed of themselves for being happy about Georgia's blatant voter suppression actions, and you know companies like Coca-Cola and Delta are going to feel it. But the funny thing is Republicans and Conservatives are really pissed that Major League Baseball has moved the All-Star game that was scheduled to be in Atlanta this year, and are using the hash tag of Cancel MLB for making that decision. Think about it what the All-Star game involves, it's three-days of Baseball games coming to one major city for at least three days, which means a shit ton of revenue for local businesses, hotels, restaurants and such. All of that will go to another city, and the people of Atlanta have their own governor to blame for it because he's a Trump supporter.

Today's Ftiness Boxing 2 session was a long one with two bonus exercises being done and a realization that the 'Best Friend' achievement for each trainer is very weird in how it is scored. That said, the daily set was mostly on point, with a few misses here and there, but nothing to bad. It is funny on how I feel I'm not getting a good rotation for when doing Right handed movements from the Southpaw stance as of late. It's probably due to my stance and trying to keep a good view of the monitor, because I had the same issue before with regard to Left handed movements from the Orthodox stance when I was in a different corner of the room.

Tonight's stream will be focused on Zero Escape Zero Time Dilemma as we resume the story with Team D (Diana, Sigma and Phi) as we work our way through the different timelines and such. Once we covered all we can with them we'll turn our focus back to Team C (Carlos, Junpei and Akane) because we did unlock some new plot points for them last week.

Anyway, we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!

Today's Notes 3/28/21

Good afternoon everybody,

Bit of a late post, because while I woke up at about 1 PM EST I didn't roll out of bed till like 1:30 PM EST... because well, it's Sunday.

Last night's stream of Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma had quite a few hilariously gory moments, as no punches were being pulled when it came to how characters died on particular paths. Mira certainly became a stand out character with how she literally went beyond all logic to touch Eric's heart but well... digging into his chest for his heart because she doesn't understand emotes. Then there is the Incinerator where depending on the outcome which happens, some very direct things happen. I will say this, I certainly don't care for Eric as he comes across as having far too many issues to tolerate. That said, I'm starting to see how this game ties into 999 and VLR with a number of references and foreshadowing.

Played some more Forza Horizon 4 last night, and it's amazing how easily it is to gain influence and stuff as I'm trying to do things in the order they appear but it seems like the game is designed to rush people along!

I do find it odd that the Navy is taking so long to finish routine maintenance of Vice President's residence located on the ground of the Naval Observatory. Yes I know that from time to time the Navy will ask for the Vice President to delay moving into the residence to conduct repairs and such, but it's going on three months at this point, and the US Navy is not completely incompetent (mostly, but not completely)

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 Session was another long set plus a couple of bonus exercises. Amazingly, not much in the way of ducking, weaving, blocking... it was straight up punches only workout. Which means tomorrow's workout is probably going to be a killer. Still I felt I was in a good groove today, and since I've been adding some bonus exercises to when I do longer sessions it all works out right?

Tonight we will be playing Overwatch, with the usual nonsense of things, with the odds being fairly good that I'll mostly play either Tank or Support, depending on what game-modes are available.

And on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!

Today's Notes 3/27/21

 Good afternoon everybody,

Yesterday afternoon we had wins so strong it caused three power flickers as a result of branches touching power lines in my neighborhood... I know this because I could literally hear it happen. This is the result of some of my neighbors neglecting to maintain the trees on their property and the lower power utility, PSE&G not enforcing penalties on those customers who refuse to comply with regulations. It's as simple as that.

Anyway, last night stream was kind of random in that I selected Super Mario 3D World + Bowser's Fury to start things off with, just to try and... it's fun little game. Those who remember my play through of Super Mario Odyssey know when it comes to 3D plat-former games, they are not something I'm good at, so combine that with the mechanics of the point of view switching back and forth from a 2D-view to an isometric view, and it's a whole new world of trouble for me. That said I stumbled and bumbled by way to the end of the third world before a new viewer named Benny asked if they could play as well, which gave me the opportunity to try and the online co-op (which can be for up to four players, local and online) and man did that get nuts as here I ended up trying to keep up with someone who knows the game inside and out. I spent more time falling behind, falling into pits and just not being useful at all. Still with their help made it to the end of the 5th world. So maybe on a random night we'll go back to Super Mario 3D world to see to if can be added to the finished games list.

Off stream last night, we set up the Xbox Series S console, replacing a busted tape deck that has been sitting on a shelf for ten years. Now with it's smaller storage space of 512 GB, it can't fully replace my Xbox One S, but the way I figure I''l use the One S for older games and things that aren't cross-generation, and the Series S for newer games and things optimized for it. The first game we put on it was Forza Horizon 4, which is a gorgeous racing game... and the load times are pretty fucking quick.

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 session was pretty solid, with a few odd misses, but nothing notable. In addition to the daily workout, we did a couple of bonus exercises (Front-Back Step and Double Combos) just to put in a little extra, since we did two real short daily sessions this week.

The Offical Ghostbusters YouTube channel added the Real Ghostbusters episode When Halloween Was Forever, and here's an episode that has some real notorious production errors involving Peter and Egon. That said, Samhain's debut was really awesome and it's the only episode of the series that actually had a follow up years later. Also, a gag in this episode of telling Slimer a cupcake / candy is in someone's socks to get them to do something I believe starts with this episode and it is something that i know is used again in the 1989 Halloween Special.

For tonight's stream we'll be back to Zero Escape Zero Time Dilemma, with our focus being on either Team D or Team Q. Wonder what SAW like death penalties we'll see this time.

And on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!

Today's Notes 3/21/21

Good evening everyone,

No I did not over sleep today, actually I got distracted with a few things and nearly forgot to do my daily notes.

Last night we started up Zero Escape: Zero Time Dilemma, and I can safely say this game certainly takes the elements know from the SAW franchise that were implied in various ways in the first two games and just goes over the top with them, with deadly traps and scenarios. ZTD does see the return of Junpei, Akanae, Sigma and Phi, but they are all secondary characters, and the flow chart and progression of the story certainly is more random because it's split between three groups of people. So we focused on one group last night and I think we'll keep that pattern for the next few Saturdays/

Now since we now have PlayStation 3, finding content to feature using it becomes a challenge, because my existing PS3 library either has stuff I've featured on other platforms or are games that I know I can't get much out of for a stream. So looking into the library of PS3, seeing what I can get cheap because retailers still have their inventory that they are looking to move we started adding things... probably the luckiest find so far is Lego Dimensons, finding the 'starter set', which is not just the game but the basic Lego set that came with it... and I have this dumb idea that maybe if I can find the add on sets, we can do streams where I'm putting the gimmicks together then play out the actual levels. Part of why I think this will work is that I have two web cams and I could set one to angle down at the top of my desk as I assemble stuff.... which would expose the fact that I'm not really good using my hands with stuff,  which is something I always tell people when they say to me, 'you can upgrade your computer yourself'.

I do love the fact that now in terms of what I stream has become more varied in terms of the platforms I can use, there is something really awesome about having the options to say lets do something super new, or lets go back to a prior gaming generation. Now if I could only remember to run my mouth and don't get super focused on what's in front of me, I could build some momentum.

Today marked 100 days of doing Fitness Boxing 2 (258 days since we started using the first Fitness Boxing) and thus with today's session we reached the Supreme Stamper Lv. 3 milestone, which was to perform the daily routine 100 times.  Today's session lasted 47 minutes (55 with stretching) and things were going well, didn't have any misses until late in the session, and even then at least a couple were questionable.

Tonight's stream will be focused on Overwatch as we do every Sunday, we'll do some Quick Play matches, and if Mayhem is in the Arcade mode today, we'll do that too!

And on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden
