The Delivery Moogle Quests

Good morning everyone,

So last week I discovered the Delivery Moogle Quests, in which the player gets roped into being a postman in Final Fantasy XIV, and all the quests certainly do a nice bit of world building when it comes to the Realm Reborn era of the game. However, the plot twist that the reason we were duped is because the Deputy PostMoogle crashed into a Windmill and can't do their deliveries. That was a clever way of giving a reason for it. Plus their was a nice touch of being 'promoted' to a full carrier made it kind of neat. But I still have seven more quests to do to complete it, which will results in my character having a PostMoogle hat... which is like the first decent piece of a head-wear I've seen in the game

We also did a couple of Random Roulette, and it's been quite a while since I've done a few so it was a slight struggle remembering the mechanics of the ones that did pop up. Did manage to get a perfect level 3 Limit Break off to cap the stream.

With Clippy being weird, I switch the BRB screen during streams to show the artwork I commissioned from DaemonsW0lf, and using the music from Duke Nukem II as a place filler. 

Work was rather... bleh yesterday, sure I set up possible interviews for next week, but compared to the prior couple of days, yesterday just blew.

I'll say it now, Aaron Judge isn't worth $300 Million over eight years, because a) he's already 30, and b) despite last season and his rookie season, he's a .280, 25 Hoomer, 80 RBI guy. Solid but not worth $300 Million

Started work on the first of two back to back commission requests based on the WWE, both of which have the same damn premise. Oh well. With luck I can knock out the first one in a couple of short sessions

Played some more Persona 4: Dancing All Night last night, grinding things out to unlock another trophy. Near as I can tell, some of the fever time duets have to be seen in the story mode first then performed in Free Dancing mode. Still at this point we got half the costumes for Free Dancing as well.

Since I know on Tuesday the plan is to play Episode 3 & 4 of Game of Thrones, A TellTale Series, I figure instead of revisiting Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium, why not revisit a game from the early 90s that was on PC with Commander Keen in Keen Dreams. The Definitive Edition is pretty damn cheap, and it will make for nice little laugh. Played a little last night to test it out, since it is a platform that has some wonky physics to get a feel for it... and yeah it's one of those games I'd consider to be filler to pad out a stream.

Fall Guys and Fallout 76...at least the first four letters are the same

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream opened with Fall Guys, and in the 'Krakken' event show, I came painfully close several times to winning, but had some last minute bad luck. Still it was a total blast every single time. Big thank you to PandaSweet for being apart of lot of the fun, as we also took part in Duo and Squad shows as well.

We also played Fallout 76, and as I focus on basically trying to gain one level a week, I found an area that I didn't visit before, Camden Park, which was kind of cool. We were also joined by Iceman, as we helped them advanced their progress in the Steel Dawn story arc. Will be really cool to help them in many of the heavy combat areas I had to deal with.

Work was real good yesterday, things really went my way in terms of getting things done, which felt good,

Finished writing the short story Batman commission, had to add a bit of padding to it to get it to where I like these little projects to be in terms of length. Really should get back to adding more dialog during the action portions. Next commission request I have is yet another WWE short story. Actually I have back to back WWE commissions coming up

Put in more off-stream grinding in Persona 4: Dancing All-Night... and I can say without question trying to see every fever time combination is going to be rather rough because the pacing on Hard is damn near All-Night levels off difficulty when compared to Person 3: Dancing in Moonlight and Person 5: Dancing in Starlight. Did manage to knock out another achievement in it

Forgot How Long The TellTale's Game Of Thrones was

Good morning everyone

Last night's stream featured episodes one and two of Game of Thrones: A Telltale Series, and yes the plan was to play episode three as well... but I forgot how long TellTale the episodes could be, not to mention, with how I was taking my time with it, still this means we'll get three weeks out of it instead of the expected two, with episode three and four next Tuesday, with episodes five and six the following week.

In terms of how I'm playing, I'm trying to thing a little different with Mira Forrester since she's basically all on her own, but that kind of is what it is. Otherwise, I'm going for the Forresters in general to just basically wanting the Whitehills' heads on pikes. One does have to appreciate the cameos from the show... even though I never watched a single episode of Game of Thrones.

To pad things out a bit, we did load up Cacpom Arcade 2nd Stadium because... well there getting to 100 hours of game to knock out, not to mention the long grind towards

On a side note, note sure why the Sidekick 'BRB' reel was not working the way it should have. In fact it wasn't working particularly well on Monday either. Hopefully it'll sort itself out, otherwise I'll have to come up with some audio for the BRB screen.

Work yesterday was surprisingly decent, as I came across some very cooperative people in interview which was really nice.

Got a bit of writers block on finishing the short story commission request based on Batman: The Killing Joke, mostly divided on how I want to end it.

I stupidly (or wisely) loaded up Person 4: Dancing All Night and basically did all the tracks on Easy difficulty to see how many I could unlock, which was quite a few. It does seem that a couple are truly tied to the story mode or require some other method to unlock them.  Still with the songs unlocked and done, we'll have more a variety in between the chapters when we resume the story mode on Friday night's stream. Also picked up one Trophy as a result.

First Impression of Pokemon Violet

Good morning everyone,

Last night we finally started up Pokemon Violet... and I have to say, the open world aspect of it certainly meant that the tutorial part of the game took me way longer to complete than most people, because I often like to over power my Pokemon as much as possible early on. Still it did mean we put a nice dent into capturing quite a few critters early on. Did clear the first gym to get off the right foot, and it's made very clear to me level grinding is going to very important to be able to tank some serious hits.

On aspect I don't particularly care for though is the camera angles in open world battles against wild Pokemon, because it means from a streamer point of view, the Pokemon in question could end up being behind where my camera box is positioned. Other than that I find that it is pretty much the continuation of numerous mechanics seen in Pokemon Shield, with the Giga-sizing gimmick being replace with the Tera-Styling one.

So for now Pokemon Violet will be locked in on Monday evenings going forward, so we'll have my very slow gradual process with it to experience, considering there are three story arcs to complete in order to finish the game.

The first season of Overwatch 2 ends on Monday I think, and I have an excellent shot of getting the level 200 battle associated with the Battle Pass. 

Got a follow up call from Xfinity regarding the issues I was having this past Saturday, after I escalated things to the FCC (again), instead of moving forward based on the tech visit from the 19th, they are basically starting over from scratch. In short, a tech is coming out on Saturday to do the same checks that were done two weeks ago.

No problems tonight with a flawless stream of Overwatch 2

Good afternoon everyone,

Well last night's stream went about as perfectly as possible, with not a single frame drop, not sudden resets, hell there weren't any of the latency issues that I've seen cropping up in Overwatch 2 either, so it was as good as possible. Big thanks to BangBangBang and PandaSweet for being apart of the many matches, as we won, lost and kicked butt all night.

Picked up two Plays of the Game, one as Mei and one as D.va, which is always cool. Much like how I did for October I will put all of November's Plays of the Game together in its own video. Other characters used were Wrecking Ball, Junker Queen, Lucio, Torbjourn, Junkrat, Soldier 76 and Orissa.

Folks also saw that I moved the camera to be off center, so it's on me from the side. Part of the reason was because of my often dead-pan expression. Plus I look better from the side than I do head on I think

Finished The 3rd Dragon Ball short story commission I've received this past week, and folks seem to enjoy it. Picked up another commission request based around Batman: The Killing Joke, or rather the film version with the focus being on a scene that in the movie but not the comic. Anyway, I did find the scene on YouTube and found a transcript of the dialog and already converted it for the commission request.

A Frustrating Night Thanks To Xfinity

Good morning everyone,

Since the Xfinity tech came out last Sunday, I only had one day with issues while streaming and that was last Saturday night... tonight saw a return to the issues I was having with constant stream resets and clear network path issues that I thought were resolved. First attempt at streaming was at about 6:30 and it was resetting every 5 to 15 minutes. I downed the stream at 7:30, did a full restart of the PC and the modem, while also calling Xfiniy with the ticket number from the last set of issues. After being blatantly lied to I was given a new ticket number and was told things would be escalated because of the prior issues. Out of about 4 and half hours of stream time, only two and a half hours were archived

I might just star recording Streams to my hard-drive while streaming and uploading them directly to YouTube at the very least that would mean footage wouldn't lost. But just for the record, as I was uploading the highlight reel for the week on YouTube.. it took 40 minutes.And considering the highlight reels are often less than 6 minutes long, that is a problem.

Now we did play MultiVersus, Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed and Capcom Arcade 2nd Stardium. And I should probably talk about Marvin the Martian who was just added to MultiVersus. He's labeled as an Assassin class, but he doesn't seem to have as much of the versatility that Harley Quinn does. We had several good runs in Ghostbusters, and even picked up an achievement. When we got to Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium, we played Last Duel and Pnickies. Last Duel has some really wonky enemy placement, while I also ranked 56th in the world for Pnickies on a score challenge.

Starting writing the third short story based on Dragon Ball yesterday afternoon and found a way to tie it in with the first two stories written. Why do I always try to build some type of canon with what are obviously one shot tales?

Another Friday and Another Persona Dancing Game

Good afternoon everyone,

Last night's stream of Persona 4: Dancing All Night got off to an awkward start because a) I didn't realize there were DLC tracks for the game b) I didn't change the title or game category. Whoops on my part! Still once we got rolling, I was able to find my comfort zone with P4D rather quickly, with my biggest concern being the weird charting this game has in comparison to its Persona 3 and Persona 5 younger siblings. More so than those two games, P4D was clearly meant to be played on the Vita, as even on Easy I have trouble picking up on how some notes appear. 

Now the story for Persona 4: Dancing All Night is rather intriguing, as the Investigation Team is practicing to be apart of Rise's comeback but then group of Idols goes missing as they were pulled into the world of the Midnight Stage... where the only way to save them is to dance. Sure the premises is silly, but the question of who is behind the mystery has my attention. It does make me think that the Persona 3: Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight could have been just one single game with a looming threat that had to be dealt with through dance but oh well.

Now because of the story mode, we'll tackle it in segments, with doing 1 full chapter then doing some free dances, then another chapter. I figure we'll get at least three weeks out of the game since there are eight chapters. Of course I'll probably put in a lot of off-stream grinding because of how unlocks are handled.
