Final Fantasy XIII and other notes

We had a solid stream tonight as we knocked out all of Chapter 3 of Final Fantasy XIII, and I quickly realized that farming enemies and gaining CP is going to determine a lot when it comes to leveling up our cast of characters, because I remember what Chapter 4 involves, with Lighting and Hope having a major boss fight... which was one of the last things I did when I played the PS3 version of the game over a decade ago. I forgot that Snow stays behind, but we gained Shiva (even if that resulted in our first game over of the play through). 

Final Fantasy XIII will return on Saturday's stream, which of course is our longest nigh of the week to focus on our major game.

Tomorrow night we are playing Ghost of Tushima, as we shall roam the country side, looking for enemies and side things to do while avoiding the main story as much as possible

For the raid we dropped in on pradoxgamerau who was playing Enshrouded 

We did have work tonight, but it was full of technical problems that had us logging in and out constantly. Still things got off to a hot start before momentum was derailed.

Filed my taxes, and considering the major chunk H&R Block takes, I think I'll be getting enough back to cover the 2nd quarter taxes on my house. So nope, not getting a PS5 as some would assume.

Currently working on a commission request based on Resident Evil 4, and it's coming together quite nicely all things considered.

I did notice that six out of the next ten commission requests are WWE related... you can guess how many times I slammed my head into my desk when I also realized that four of them are back-to-back-to-back-to-back!

Sea of Thieves and other notes

Tonight's stream of Sea of Thieves went well as we tried to do knock out the second quest in the Piratesof the Caribbean ark, but we had a few hangs ups. We defeated the Siren Queen but the quest didn't complete, so we may have to do that again next time we play. Big thanks to Iceman and Striker for being apart of the crew!

Tomorrow night I'm back to Final Fantasy XIII, I also managed to get my hands on a the physical strategy guide. Which should make things easier to some degree.

For the raid we dropped in on lilmoolah_ who was playing Cyberpunk 2077

We had a solid night of work as we closed out this New York focused assignment, and now we hope for another one to come.

Now I do have a bunch of commission stories to tackle, and the NCAA related one is about 75% finished, if I knock that out good and early tomorrow I can jump right into a Resident Evil commission request that should could come very handy for groceries this week.

Currently in the middle of season eleven of Red Dwarf, and I love that Rimmer character arc regarding who is father is was not discarded. 

Final Fantasy XIII and other notes

Tonight's stream saw us play Final Fantasy XIII, and clearing the first two chapters of the game, and getting use to the ATB system certainly is a challenge because of how fast paced it makes the combat. That said, I was reminded about the most annoying character in the game, which is of course Hope, who is such a fucking whiner earlier. On the flip side, I totally forgot about how Snow and  Lighting were basically 'in-laws' (again I did play the game back in 2011 before my original PS3 crapped out).

Anyway, we'll return to Final Fantasy XIII on Thursdays stream

Tomorrow night the plan is to play Sea of Thieves with Iceman and Striker, but we'll see how things roll out.

For the raid we dropped in on misscammi316 who was playing Dead by Daylight and Smite

We did have work today, and while not as great a shift as last night, it was good to have work. The final question on the study is questionable in what are they looking to be asked as it doesn't make any sense.

Finished the Fairy Tail story to complete that commission, getting it over 4000 words was pretty cool. Already started the next story in the commission queue which a NCAA related one, and I get to make some references to things in the recent sport news.

Finished series ten of Red Dwarf, and once again Rimmer gets to save the day, which has to be a tradition at some point. Looking forward to seeing if his character progression carries over to series eleven.

Skullgirls 2nd Encore and other notes

Tonight's stream was dedicated to Skullgirls as we worked our way through seven story campaigns (Robo-Fortune, Beowulf, Peacock, Painwheel, Ms. Fortune, Valentine and Double) and one thing I can say for certain is that considering who linked Valentine and Painwheel are, that the later is clearly the game's true protagonist over Filia, since there is a connection between her and Painwheel as well. Now I've made the decision to keep Skullgirls in the line up for next Monday to go through the remaining six story mode characters.

Tomorrow night we're starting up Final Fantasy XIII, now the last time I played the PS3 version was back in December of 2011, so basically I am going itno it blind. But I do got a lead on an old school strategy guide which could come in handy.

For tonight's raid we dropped in on 13babybear13 who was playing Lego Star Wars; The Skywalker Saga

We did have work today, and the assignment was focused on the Special Election up in New York to replace George Santos, kind of interesting to hear what folks read, saw and heard about the two candidates.

Did a fair amount of writing today, but could not finish the commission story based on Fairy Tail. It is about 50% finish give or take.

Part of why was because I was waiting for the delivery of two backup keyboards considering the one I use was acting wonky recently. Better to be prepared.

So while I was waiting I watched most of Series 10 of Red Dwarf, and I rather like how Lister has evolved a bit as a character. Also the episode titled Lemons was fucking awesome!

Skullgirls 2nd Encore Achievements

Overwatch 2 and other notes

Tonight's stream of Overwatch was a solid five hours of action, big thanks to  Odeu and PandaSweet for joining in on chaos. Much to my surprise, I picked up one of Kiriko's achievements which shocked the check out of me. Also had a huge moment as Mauga getting three enemies trapped in his cage fight ultimate, which itself should have been an achievement. Oh well. Other characters I used tonight was Ashe, Reaper, Orisa, Brigitte and a few others

Tomorrow night we're dedicating to doing story mode runs in Skullgirls 2nd Encore.

Obviously I could have started Final Fantasy XIII tomorrow, but I did say I want to work in Skullgirls between major games on weeknights depending on when they are finished. 

For the raid we dropped in on intergalacticpants who was playing Mass Effect Andromeda 

I did sleep in ab it today, waking up around 12:30 PM, but I got various things done, most importantly Laundrey.

Watched parts 1 and 2 of Red Dwarf: Back to Earth, and it is kind of weird watch the show when episodes have cuts for commerical breaks.

Finished the WWE related story to complete a subscribestar subscription request, next is a normal commission request based on the anime / manga Fairy Tail, which might take me two days to write.

Next time I do groceries I need to make sure I pick up several boxes of shrimp, as they turn out great in the air fryer!

Overwatch 2 Achievements

• Yokai: Restore 1500 health and land 5 critical hits without dying as Kiriko in Quick or Competitive Play.

South Park The Fractured But Whole and other notes

Tonight we put the finishing touches on South Park The Fractured But Wole wrapping up the final Mintberry Crunch DLC story and going after Morgan Freeman to get one more achievement. The squad I  took into that fight was Mintberry Crunch, Call Girl and Henrietta, all three of which was able to apply buffs and debuffs which made the fight doable with only two of them being knocked out at any point in time. There are three achievements left in the game, but we can save those for a future play through.

Now that wasn't the whole stream, we did play some Smite, and big thanks to Striker for being apart of a few matches. We won three and lost three I think, so it evened out, as I played as Nike and Athena. Did accidentally turn off auto-purchasing of items, which certainly put me in a bind in a couple of bouts.

Tomorrow night we're playing Overwatch as is the Sunday night tradition. Did work more ranked matches this weeks, but not too many bouts on role queue to avoid playing damage in ranked bouts.

Since we're done with South Park: The Fractured But Whole, Monday night we will be playing Skullgirls 2nd Encore and going through a few story modes for various characters in a bit of achievement hunting. 

Tuesday night however, we will be starting up Final Fantasy XIII. Now I have played this game a bit many years ago prior to my original PlayStation 3 dying on me, so basically we will be going into it blind! I remember the combat system being quite difficulty to understand.

Got some writing done on a SubscribeStar commission tier story today, which is WWE related, I hope to have it finished before tomorrow's stream.

Nearly finished season eight of Red Dwarf, just have one more episode to watch, and then it's the jump to the more modern seasons.

South Park: The Fractured but Whole Achievements

Ghost of Tsushima and other notes

Tonight we started up Ghost of Tsushima and I have to say, I can safely say it's going to be a long journey as it seems the open world aspect of this game seems very similar to Horizon Zero Dawn, which means I'm going to be as thorough as possible exploring every thing on the map. I also set the audio settings for the dialog to be in Japanese with English subtitles, as it seems like the most immersive way to play it, and so far based on how the dialog sounds, I feel I'm right.

Tomorrow night we're wrapping up South Park The Fractured But Whole, focusing on the Mintberry Crunch DLC story, along with possibly taking another shot at the Morgan Freeman boss fight. 

For tonight's raid we dropped in on baenalux who was playing Mass Effect: Legendary Edition, doing their first run of Mass Effect 3

Work is still on hold at the moment, but I am looking for something more stable.

Did knock out an Arrow related commission in fairly short order, with the next story on the docket being a SubscribeStar subscription story based on 2010s WWE. It may take two days to write it
