Fun with Friends in Fallout 76!

Good morning everyone

Last night's stream of Fallout 76 was a lot of fun as we were joined by PowerThumbz and Iceman for some hilarity as they gave me a big assist in getting some quests done. We managed to get all the dailies done in and made use of Iceman's Custom World for silliness in terms of using the Fat Man mini-Nuke launchers.

In terms of the story progress I was focusing on the Brotherhood of Steel story arc, and safe to say I'm firmly locked into siding with Paladin Ramani in terms of how I want the story to be from my point of view. Part of what makes that easy is that Knight Shin is just unlikeable.

No achievements were unlocked, but we made progress on the scoreboard, I also need to remember next to week to head down to the southern portion of the map to find a lake so that I'll have every major location located to make fast travel easier.

For the raid we dropped in on BestiBunni who was playing Overwatch 2 over at twitch.tv/bestibunni

Speaking of Overwatch it was virtually impossible to get into the game yesterday and I'm not buying that its a DDoS problem because if it was, wouldn't all of Blizzard's games be having issues?

Still did get into Overwatch 2 at around 1 AM and got in a few matches before bed. I did end up having curiosity of the character unlocks for Overwatch 2 for new players and found the list.

  • Available of the at the Start: Orissa, Reinhardt, Winston, Zarya, Pharah, Reaper, Soldier 76, Torbjorn, Tracer, Widowmaker, Lucio, Mercy & Moria
  • Login Deason Season 1 (Season 2 for owner of OW1): Sojourn, Junker Queen
  • Play 1 Match: Genji
  • Play 2 Matches: D.va
  • Play 3 Matches: Cassidy
  • Play 4 Matches: Ana
  • Play 9 Matches; Hanzo
  • Play 12 Matches: Junkrat
  • Play 16 Matches: Roadhog
  • Play 20 Matches: Symmetra
  • Play 25 Matches: Zenyatta
  • Play 30 Matches: Bastion
  • Play 40 Matches: Sigma
  • Play 50 Matches: Ashe
  • Play 60 Matches: Brigitte
  • Play 70 Matches: Mei
  • Play 85 Matches: Doomfist
  • Play 100 Matches: Baptiste
  • Play 116 Matches: Sombra
  • Play 130 Matches: Wrecking Ball
  • Play 150 Matches: Echo
  • Reach Tier 55 In Battle Pass (Or purchase Premium Battle Past: Kriko

The order seem very weird when one factors in that Genji is one of the hardest characters to use for new comers.

Work was decent yesterday, got on an assignment that allowed me to productive and not stress over dealing with rude people. Granted I was talking with people who lean so far to the right they are falling over. But hey it was decent

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout featured Difficult Challenge Combo #2, Block Combo and Difficult Challenge Combo #3 for 34 minutes.

Who ever came up with the schedule for the first round of this year's MLB playoffs needs to be smacked. The fans in some markets are screwed because some games will be starting in the early afternoon. I get they don't want these games to overlap, but the schedule is just idiotic.

Overwatch 2's Troubled Launch

Good morning everyone

Well Overwatch 2 got off to a rough start with massive queues, disconnects and general problems but once we were able to get in we did have a lot of fun. I racked up six plays of the game as Moira, D.va (2), Torbjorn, Brigitte and Symmetra. Big thanks to LvStrkr for being apart of matches, and we queued up as role queue, so we got to be Tanks, Damage and Support fairly evenly over the course of the matches.

I did want to see if I could get the achievements on the Xbox side of things that I already unlocked on the PC side but had no luck logging in last night, but was able to do so this morning. Oddly enough only one achievement unlocked... proving that not everything was syncing up.

In regards to all the problems Overwatch 2 had, I do believe they all could have been prevented had the developers at Blizzard paid attention to the launch of Final Fantasy XIV: Endwalker last year and actually try to make sure server capacity was up to the task, instead of waiting to the last minute and launching the 'registered phone number' fiasco that was announced at basically the last minute last week.

Oddly enough Blizzard's officials said they were experiencing a massive DDoS attack... but it was not stated on official notification feeds, but on the personal accounts of those officials. This further compounds an issue of transparency, because if they announced that was the issue then a lot of us (myself included) would have been a lot more understanding

Overwatch 2 Achievements

  • Decked Out: Collect 50 unlocks for a single hero.
Now because of the issues with Overwatch 2, the stream actually opened with Smite, and we got in a few matches as Nike and Aphrodite. I do love 'The Sparrow' skin on Nike and how it's basically a glorified Green Arrow reference in terms of how it looks. Never really understood how Aphrodite skill set, but i needed to play a game as a mage.

Also worked in some Paladins as well, big thanks to PandaSweet for some matches in it. Had a really good Team Death Match as Ying racking up 16 Kills pretty easily. Of course the usual issues with Paladins rear their ugly head with bad team composition.

Work positivity sucked yesterday, I don't know why the hell I keep getting saddled with this one assignment, it's not like I'm getting much progress beyond just getting possible leads other people can follow up on. I'm dreading looking at today's assignment chart.

Many people are saying Aaron Judge is the 'true home run kind', but last I checked the single season record is 73. Aaron Judge only hit 62 home runs, and there is no way he's hitting 12 more today which is the last way of the season.

The Last of Us actually became half-way decent

Good morning everyone,

I will admit, despite how shitty the game looks whenever it's dark or entering an area with spores, The Last of Us actually became 'kind of' fun to play once I got past the Pittsburgh part, and with the next few areas being shorted and more condensed while moving the story forward.

That said, the relationship between Ellie and Joel does come across as more forced than anything else when she 'runs away'. Ammo continues to be a hindrance at time but I'm glad I'm playing this on the 'Easy Setting' just to one or two shot most enemies.

Now the way I figure there are three chapters left with two major sections each, so there is a possibility I could finish The Last of Us Remastered during a stream next week. We'll pick up at the start of the Winter Section, after Joel was injured when ambushed in the University.

One last night of old Overwatch

Good afternoon everyone,

Now color me embarrassed because I thought to Overwatch servers were going down at midnight last night, but nope, turns out they were going down at noon today, but we got in a full on 8 hour stream, with plenty of breaks and water had. Ended up getting five plays of the game, one as Bation, three as D.va and one as Reinhardt. Hell even got the Triple Threat achievement for Bastion as well which shocked the hell out of me.

Big thanks to BangBangBang and PandaSweet for being apart of a lot of matches in what turned out to be a marathon stream of kicking ass and taking names. I got in matches as quick a few characters including ones I don't normally play... and the list of those I used were Doomfist, Echo, Sigma, Bastion, Roadhog, Wrecking Ball, Zarya, Lucio, Cassidy, Ashe, Mei, Brigitte, Mercy, Reinhardt, Moira, & D.va. Hell I even had a pretty good moment as Doomfist of all people. like in theory I know how to use him, it's just that in execution it's not easy.

Still I made sure to close out Overwatch with a win and we look forward to Tuesday night and Overwatch 2!

Overwatch Achievements

  • Triple Threat: Kill 2 enemies in each of Bastion's configurations without dying in Quick or Competitive play.

Thoughts on Rick in MultiVersus

Good afternoon everyone,

Rick from "Rick & Morty' was added to MultiVersus this week and I spent quite a lot of time playing as him. He is listed as a mage, and he is very much over powered from my experience. Best to use him at a a fair distance, but he does have a couple of abilities that are good at close range which makes him more useful than Gizmo. I could see myself choosing to use him every so often. Funny enough I did get into one match where I was teamed with someone playing as Morty, which was pretty cool... even though I may have seen maybe just one or two episodes of 'Rick & Morty'.

I should point out that there might be issues with PC players cheating in MutliVersus because I saw a Batman player doing some thing so fast that I couldn't react or get a read on what was coming in order to dodge or try to block. I suspect they were using pre-programmed inputs, which is easily programmable into the PC versions of any fighting game.

Anyway, we did switch over to Fall Guys at about 9:30 PM and I love the fact there was an Ellen Ripley from Aliens skin. The new Season Pass was out and it looks like a lot if its skins are Sci-Fi related as well, as there is one for Spock from Star Trek in it. I did make it the final round in solo a few times so there was that. But I do hate some of the gimmicks, and the jumping at times felt way off from what I'm use too. Still had a lot of fun.

Start of a new week so lets recap what we played last week which included: Overwatch, Tekken 7, The Last of Us: Remastered, Fallout 76, Final Fantasy XIV, Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight, MultiVersus & Fall Guys!

Finished the recent commission request for a WWE short story, which turned out rather well I think... and then got another request for a story based around the TV series Arrow. I actually use to watch a lot of the Arrowverse related shows on the CW until they basically scarified Supergirl to prop up the Batwoman Season 2

Persona 5 Dancing In Starlight Is Incredible!

Good afternoon everyone,

Last night's stream featured the return of Persona 5... in the form of Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight. It is a rhythm game where you press buttons on the controller to match where the notes are going on screen... and it is addicting. We went well past midnight, and we haven't done that since we were playing Persona 5 Strikers!

One of the big pluses about P5:DIS is that it fits in nearly perfectly within the events of Persona 5 Royal and Persona 5 Strikers, actually fitting in between the events of both game. Sure it's based more on the vanilla version of Persona 5... and there is the issue of Caroline and Justine being the hosts in the Velvet Room but for me the game has its place in the timeline. There is a lot of the same charm and banter of other games in regards to how the characters talk to one another which basically encourages going for the Social Links to see how over the top some things can get.

The dancing portion is really enjoyable, and there are enough difficulty settings and modifiers to keep things fresh (or make things easier), Plus the Persona 5 sound track is awesome enough to want to keep playing the game and lose track of time... which was certainly the case when I was playing Royal and Strikers through out the year!

Now I did go back into the game to bang out some achievements that I know would be tough to get based on trying to figure out certain dance partners. Thankfully there was a guide for that.  Now I did get access to knew Social Link scenes but I didn't view them yet because we're certainly featuring Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight next Friday for damn sure!.

On a side note: Virtually impossible to get quality screenshots because as a rhythm game, taking a hand off the game pad would mean a lot of misses.

We Spent The Night In Gyr Abanian

Good morning everyone

Last night's stream of Final Fantasy XIV was another nice chill stream, as we focused on side quests through out Gyr Abanian and Rhalgr's Reach, getting about 95% of them done, with like a half dozen left to complete before I move on to the next area. There were a few things I enjoyed in terms of how some stories connected with each other, but the destination points of some objectives were rather silly in terms of placement, not to mention these quests were not really designed to be binged played.

I did run into a Level 70 A Rank boss that kicked my ass... now I was told that its solo-able at level 90, but i believe that's only possible for like a Red Mage or Paladin or something that has some heavy duty self-healing.

Still we had fun, and just enjoyed taking it easy.

Work was actually good yesterday, as I was productive because I was actually given assignments that played to my strengths and vocal pacing. Unfortunately, the same won't apply to today because I was placed back on the crappy assignment, which is unfair and complete bullshit.

Oh and for the record, I'm been keeping my weight around 250 lbs, so not gaining, but not losing, just maintaining my pear shape figure

I've gotten a chuckle seeing former WWE Superstar Paige has certainly been taken some people to task for things they've said regarding her promo on AEW's programming this week. Not her fault for them not knowing her promo was a fucking work.

Elgato finally released a Stream Deck patch update and I'm hoping it resolves a lot of the issues of the Stream Deck and OBS de-syncing so I don't have to keep reinstalling the plug in!
