So We Just Went Ahead To LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures

Good morning everyone

Last night's stream got off to a rough start because the newest version of OBS is not working with my Stream Deck, so I did stream restart to try and fix the problem... but nothing worked. So until Elgato releases a new patch update I've lost some of the functions I've used via Stream Deck to switch scenes in OBS.

That said, we did wrap up  LEGO Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures with the goal of just doing Temple of Doom and then going back to find all the artifacts... however, I feel like there was something screwy with some of the placement of the artifacts were not registering even with the 'Artifact Finder' on. I might focus on one stage a night off-stream to find all the artifacts, but nothing guaranteed on that front.

Of course there is the rough part of playing the early LEGO video games because of all the music issues, which meant all I had going were the sound effects and character sounds, so some of the involvement of the game was kind of nullified. But on the positive side, the very ear-wormy music from Temple of Doom will not be running through my brain because of how quickly the melody cycle.

For tonight's stream, We're going to start up Murdered: Soul Suspect, it was released back in 2014 on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC... we'll be playing the Xbox One Version. From what I see it has gotten average to mediocre reviews. Besides this gets us out of the trend of only playing 360 era games.

Another big night of Overwatch

Good afternoon everyone,

Last night's stream of Overwatch a lot of fun, granted because most of the time we won... in fact we ended on a stretch of winning 8 out of the last 10 matches played. Big thank you to PandaSweet for being apart of the fun for nearly the entire night! Picked up three Plays of the Game, two as D.va and one as Torbjourn. Other characters used were Reinhardt, Mei & Junkrat.

There was one really weird match where some how none of my attacks hit anyone on the opposing team even with me being right up on them. 

Of course we're less than a month away from the start of Overwatch 2 for everyone, but I kind of wonder what achievements are being carried over from the first game to the other. And when will cross progression kick in to see how that fully tracks.

Look I enjoy... some... of what Justin Wong does over on his YouTube channel, but as much as the guy is a legend in the Fighting Game Community, the fact every single thumbnail for each of his videos is just pure click bait that never delivers on the expectations.

I would like to point out that whoever writes the wiki profiles for the Attack on Titan fandom really did a bad job of giving an idea of what the personalities of those characters are like. Combine that with having two ideas on how to write the story and I ended up with one of the weakest efforts I've done since getting back into writing on a semi-regular basis.

Also picked up another commission request, this time based around the Spider-Man PS4 game and featuring Yuriko Watanabe... problem is, I have not yet played that game, It's on the list however... but for the short story, I'll have to piece things together based on what I can learn. 

To grind out the 100 hours play time achievement in Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium, I'm going to basically use the fact that Savage Bees is 'endless', enable invincibility, and use the broken controller method I did with Vulgus in the original Capcom Arcade Stadium. Is it a cheap exploit... oh you bet it is. Speaking of Exploits, the save state feature might be used heavily with Son Son to grind out the 100,000,000 CAPSO.

Albert Pujols hit his 695th home run yesterday... just how much pressure will there be on the Cardnials to give him every possible at-bat for him to get to 700?

Arcade Games and Being Undefeated

Good afternoon everyone

Last night's stream was supposed to lead off with MVP Baseball on the PlayStation 2... but the one I tested last night refused to read the disc... even though it worked with Marvel vs Capcom 2 like 15 hours earlier. Oh well.

So we called the audible, and loaded up Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium and knocked out a couple of achievements. For the 'Clear a Game on the highest difficulty, I played Knights of the Round, which is a game I'm very familiar with because it was apart of the Capcom Beat 'Em Up Collection. To get the remaining achievements means putting in 97 hours of game time, plus earning enough CAPSO to reach rank 20, and it's going to be a similar approach that I used with the first version of the game at the start of the year.

• Technician: Clear a game on the highest difficulty setting.
• Remedial Student: Reach Class 5: Experimenter.

Now we didn't stay with Capcom Arcade Stadium the entire stream, after a break, we switched over to Smite and I won five straight matches in arena, three as Terra, one as Cupid and one as Nike. Also cleared the board for the Nickelodeon event which was rather nice. Other than that, nothing much to talk about there.

One last night of Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r]

Good afternoon everyone,

Last night's stream of Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r] was totally focused on arcade runs, as we went through the nine remaining characters, and yes it took fours to do, because I still had it set at best 2 out of 4 rounds and on normal difficulty. The biggest issue that ends up happening is how block heavy the A.I. gets as you go through the arcade ladder... then there is the fact if one lets the story segments play out at the spoken word pace, it would take even longer. Still, we saw a few things that stood out, got a few supers to pop, but I'm confident in saying Wagner has the best looking super in the game. 

In terms of what's left to do in Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r] based on achievements, well there are stuff that is possible to do... but it requires basically endless running through like Score Attack and Time Trials to earn the in-game currency to unlock all the Icons, Titles and Main images... and I'm not going to put the time into that, Now I did try to see if we could do any online matches... and well, I doubt anyone is playing it in 2022, because I don't think it had much of an online following to begin with.

So what will replace Under Night In-Birth Exe:Late[cl-r] on Friday nights as a PS4 title, well I think we'll be taking a look at The Quarry starting next Friday, and I figure we'll get two streams out of it.

So I was expecting a delivery via UPS yesterday, and it never arrived, turned out the driver lied about attempting the delivery and I called them out on it straight away. I ended up getting a call from a Supervisor at UPS saying the driver said 'they couldn't find my house'... and I pointed out 'they have GPS', and my home is right on the corner. So now I'm expecting it today.  

Internet did go down a bit before 5 PM EST, and we had some slight issues during the stream at 654 PM EST and 658 PM

Played some Fallout 76 and wrapped up the Recruitment Blues quest... and if I was doing that on stream I probably would have lost my mind with how well it replicates the DMV experience.

Tested the back up PlayStation 2, and other than having to stand it up for it to read a disc, it works great. Also the different HDMI converted with component cables certainly made Marvel vs Capcom 2 look a lot better than I've seen it previously.

Started messing around with Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium to begin the long road of getting all the same achievement with did with the original Capcom Arcade Stadium. It's going to be a long road, but I did knock out all the easy achievements within an hour.

So We Did The New Pandemonium Raids

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream of Final Fantasy XIV was 99% problem free with one weird bit causing a full break of the stream at 11:27 PM. There wasn't even an attempt by Twitch to hold the stream in place to avoid being split, which was just weird. Of course following the stream I did experience a hot minute of 25% to 75% packet loss at about 12:30 AM. Which is funny since I got yesterday afternoon from Xfinity saying the tech teams found a few issues leading to signal drops that the believe was resolved. We'll see how that lay out.

Anyway, lets talk about the new Pandaemonium raid... I found the 5th Circle and 8th Circle ones to be quite enjoyable, and straight forward. I didn't die much, and when I did, I felt it was a fair death because of how slow my reactions can be to AOEs and my struggles with noticing tells by the boss. Honestly, I do love it when things make sense without having to look up a damn guide to prepare for what I'm having to deal with.

However, I don't have many nice things to say about 6th Circle and 7th circle, as i found them to be extremely gimmicky. 7th Circle with the disappearing floor is just complete bullshit with knock off mechanics, big AOEs and not much room to maneuver.

I did try my first Savage Raid last night... and while I enjoy seeing Kalenal (twitch.tv/kalenal) play them, I found having the big indicators on the screen to indicate where to stand where to go really add to my problems of being able to notice AOEs, Buffs / Debuffs and attack tells. Still had fun with it.

Had a power outage hit at around 2 AM... notably because I was trying to make a little progress in Fallout 76 off-stream, and I got a few things done in the Recruitment Blues story arc... which seems to involve a lot of hoops to jump through, since the world of Fallout often involves trying to fulfill requirements of a dead society.

Completed Coming to Fruition in Fallout 76

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream of Fallout 76 was productive in a few different ways as I completed the Coming to Fruition story arc which was apart of the original story content of the game, which means my next focus should be on the Fort Defiance arc which I believe would wrap everything up with the original story. Now the biggest problem I'm running into is making sure I have ammo for rifle weapons which makes getting through waves of enemies tougher than it needs to be in my opinion.

Of course I did realize a way to cheese out another achievement, the New Fort Knox, turns out when you turn in the Treasury notes you can buy them back and re-sell them at the same value. I think holding on to those will be rather key to knock out its related challenges on the in-game scoreboard whenever they pop up daily or weekly.

Might effect work this afternoon, but since I was told in advance I let my job know.

Seems like there will be another installment in the Marvel vs SNK series which has been dormant for nearly 20 years 

Cleared out a bunch of side quests in Final Fantasy XIV... but now I realize my Dragoon is too low to really continue this little nightly quest with because at the moment the role is a level 48... and the level cap to turn in quests is set to level 50. Grrr

Work was a bit frustrating... when I was the only one still on one assignment in the final hour... combine with seeing folks on another assignment that makes for an easy way to hit a bonus mark. I'm told that folks will be rotated... but I was told that a few weeks ago and mostly been stuck on the same drab mind bending assignment.

Back to the Land of Lego With Indiana Jones

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream of Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures certainly had a number of issues thanks to Xfinity, with anyway from a 25% to 75% packet loss from 6:46 PM to 7:36 PM. I continue to get no feedback from Xfinity during this. I also had the internet go down a bit before 4 PM as well.

Anyway, the game play of Lego Indiana Jones saw the entire "Raiders of The Lost Ark" portion taken cared of, and picking up all the Story related achievements, and I totally forgot the solution to several pizzle so some things were taking me longer than others to accomplish. In fact I actually had to look up how to deal with the 'Boxer' boss because I didn't realize the plan could demolish trucks addition enemies come in with. 

On the opposite side, I did enter every available unlock code into the game, which took quite a bit of time, but hell it ate up stream time. But it did mean I had more options available when going back to do a bit of Free Play stuff.

Next time we'll play Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures will be on Monday and Tuesday of next week.

Knocked out just about every possible side quest in Limsa Lominsa that I skipped over during my run through Final Fantasy XIV's Main Story, and managed to get a couple of minions.
