From the End Of Persona 5 into the Royal Content

Good afternoon everyone,

Last night's stream of Persona 5 Royal did have two stream resets due to an apparent issues with the upstream, so now I'm narrowing things down as to the problems I'm having with Xfinity. Looking forward to the technician coming out to check the tap, wires and possible the modem... but at least now I can give more of a detail of what I'm seeing.

The stream itself picked up with everything heading up into the God of Control and the aftermath that leads into the Royal content, including the 'revelation' that Akechi is alive which is the first sign indicator things are wrong. The second indicator was the Christmas Day party which basically recycled the previous major party in the game following Shido's Palace. We managed to get up to January 20th and we still have plenty of time, so next Friday's stream will cover a trip into Mementos and the Maruki's Palace, and probably boss battle. Not to mention getting the third-tier Personas for a couple of members of the team we didn't cover tonight because getting "Kasumi" maxed out was a real pressure point.

Persona 5 Royal Trophies

  • The Thorough Trickster: Completed Mementos.
  • Awakening the Phantom Thieves: Evolved a party member's Persona.

Twitch Clips

Got a lead on a Becky Lynch Funko POP, the 'Becky 2 Belts' variant which I didn't know was a thing until yesterday. Will be nice to have the complete set... and this probably means I'll gradually add 10 more to make the collection I have even at some point.

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout featured Body Hook Combo, Beginner Combo #1 and Advanced Combo #2 for 28 minutes. This workout was down prior to 5 AM right after last night's stream.

Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm & Exercise State For Week Of June 5 to 11, 2022

  • Punches Thrown: 8,966
  • Estimated Calories Burned: 3553.36 kcal
  • Sophie's Contender Progress: 80% (24/30 Hours Trained)
  • King EX Fighter Progress: 93% of all EX Achievements Acquired

Nintendo Switch Online has been renewed for the next year, that just leaves waiting for my PlayStation Plus to expire to re-set it under its new format because Sony had the collective brains of a dead fish when trying to come up with a half-assed counter to what Nintendo and Microsoft offer.

Saw a really cool moment that took place at the AFI Lifetime Achievement awards when five of the actors who played the Von Trapp children surprised 2022 recipient Julie Andrews during a sing-a-long of Do-Re-Mi. I'm really hoping there will be better footage of that popping up because the 'cell phone' footage may have captured the audio perfect, the footage feels like a tease.

While I am no fan of Justin Beiber, it is a shame he's being plagued by a neurological disorder called Ramsay Hunt Syndrome. From what I've read it's similiar to Bell's Palsy, but a bit more severe. It is pretty rare, happening in only 5 in every 100,000 people.Apparently it is caused by the reactivation of a shingles virus in the face, so those who had a variant of chicken pox can be vulnerable to it. 75% of those who have it recover completely, but 25% end up with some type of long term nerve damage. Hopefully Beiber will be in the 76% category.

For tonight's stream I'm not sure what we're going to do because as I'll be waiting for Xfinity between the hours of 4 and 6 PM Eastern, so by the time they leave we'll be seeing what trouble I get up to.

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!

Xfinity Crippled Last Night's Stream

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream certainly had a lot of problems thanks to Xfinity. We started at a bit after 6:30 PM Eastern because I went out of my way to reset my modem to try and prevent any issues, and there was a patch update for Final Fantasy XIV. At 7:17 PM Eastern we had a break in the stream due to the network service provided by Xfinity becoming unstable. This happened again at 7:23 PM, then at 7:38 PM, at which point I started trying to get a live person on the phone. It took having to schedule a call back to reach someone, at which point when I'm talking to them live the network becomes unstable at 7:57 PM and again at 8:04 PM. This basically resulted in the first hour and half of the stream being basically worthless in terms of the archives. And they have the balls to say I would be charged for any changes of equipment that may end up having to take place. Needless I fucking went ballistic, because I have NEVER been charged when anything needed replacing in the past.

Now after that call and making it real clear what I'm expecting with Saturday's Technician visit, we managed to have a stable stream the rest of the way to about 11:30 PM. We did the usual stuff Botanty level grinding, Fishing, some Alliance Raids, Trials and Dungeons plus some PVP. I really hate having incomplete streams in the archives. Thing is one could really tell by my body language that I was completely taken out of the mood for last night's stream with all the issues that plagued a large chunk of it.

Twitch Clips

For last night's raid, we dropped in on Oldish22 who was also playing Final Fantasy XIV over at twitch.tv/oldish22

I did take a glance at the that January 6th hearings after last night's stream, and if anything the Republican party is being exposed for just wanting to stay in power by any and all means. That said, I wonder how badly Donald Trump is going to bitch out Ivanka for her saying under oath she believed the election wasn't stolen.

I did add a few additions to my Camp Site in Fallout 76, the water slide and collection to make things a little more odd. I'm considering possibly relocating my camp to another location, but not 100% sure what would be a good spot.

The Phillies swept the Brewers and I'm surprised they are keeping this momentum, but it's clearly not to sustainable with the current roster and obvious limitations of the  pitching staff.

Got into some Smite matches after the stream and thankfully there were no issues and we picked up an achievement as well, getting the 50th kill streak with Esst.

SMITE Achievements

  • Can't Stop This: Get 50 killing sprees in qualifying matches.

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout featured Hook Combo #2, Body Straight Combo and Body Uppercut Combo. Duration was 31 minutes.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge comes out on June 16, and is developed / published by the same folks who made Streets of Rage 4, so I'm expecting the same level of quality there. Looks like for those getting the game on the Nintendo Switch there will be a 10% discount through June 22.

The Capcom Fighting Collection has a release date of June 24, and there will be a bundle option that includes exclusive illustrations and remixed music, plus Three Wonders for Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium.

Speaking of Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium that has a release date of July 22

For tonight's stream Persona 5 Royal is on deck, and here's hoping we won't have any issues. The plan will be to tackle the final leg of the December 24th gauntlet and then head into the story that carries things into January. I know we have one more palace to tackle

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!

We Built A House In Fallout 76

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream suffered two major interruptions, and it's real funny when Xfinity called me yesterday to say the issue was fixed only for things to go wonky yet again. Good thing I did not cancel the technician visit on Saturday.

Anyway we were of course playing Fallout 76 last night, and the first two hours was mostly spent on me building a house in game, and it turned out rather nice I think in terms of having two floors and plenty of tools for visitors to use. Iceman joined in and we finally wrapped up the Mistress of Mysteries story arc, getting a very rare achievement in the process. We also did some random exploring to open up some other areas of the Wasteland to make traveling a little easier depending on what quests pop up. All in all, it was very productive.

Fallout 76 Achievements

  • Mistress of Mystery: Complete "Mistress of Mystery"

Twitch Clips

For last night's raid we dropped in on Redneck_23 who was playing Wolfenstein over on twitch.tv/redneck_23!

Finished the commissioned Halo fan fic based around the end of Halo 4 (which I have never played), and all things considered, I'm not completely sure what more I could have done with it giving the circumstances of when Cortana becomes 'physical'.

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout featured Uppercut Combo #2 and Double Combo #1. I woke up incredibly early by my standards and just wasn't feeling it today.

Capcom has announced the full list of games for Capcom Arcade Stadium 2, and it includes a number of titles that will be appearing in the Capcom Fighting Collection Games listed in bold will be in both collection of games. Also, titles that are underline are the games that appeared in the Street Fighter 30th Anniversary Collection. Now my big question regarding the 2nd Capcom Arcade Stadium is what will the achievements look light, because I'm not really seeing anything that could be put on an endless loop to grind out hours.

  • 1943 Kai
  • Black Tiger
  • Block Block
  • Capcom Sports Club
  • Darkstalkers: The Night Warriors
  • Eco Fighters
  • Gan Sumoku (GunSmoke)
  • Hissatsu Buraiken (Avengers)
  • Hyper Dyne Side Arms
  • Hyper Street Fighter II: The Anniversary Edition
  • Knights of the Round
  • Last Duel
  • Magic Sword
  • Mega Man: The Power Battle
  • Mega Man 2: The Power Fighters
  • Night Warriors: Darkstalkers' Revenge
  • Pnickies
  • Rally 2011 LED Storm
  • Saturday Night Slam Masters
  • Savage Bees (Exed Exes)
  • SonSon
  • Street Fighter
  • Street Fighter Alpha: Warriors' Dreams
  • Street Fighter Alpha 2
  • Street Fighter Alpha 3
  • Super Gem Fighter Mini Mix
  • Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo
  • The King of Dragons
  • The Speed Rumbler (Rush & Crash)
  • Three Wonders
  • Tiger Road
  • Vampire Savior: The Lord of Vampire

The Phillies have gotten themselves on a hot streak, but I doubt it's going to last long, as injuries have certainly taken a toll on the starting line up as of late.

The plan for tonight's stream is Final Fantasy XIV, as you know raids, trials, fishing botany and other stuff is on my agenda for it. Hopefully tonight will be a night where there are no issues.

But we'll see what ends up happening when we see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!

The Visual Novel Of Persona 4: Arena

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream of Persona 4: Arena saw the big focus on the story mode, which like the various BlazBlue games I've played over the years, meant it was a visual novel approach to presenting the story with a couple of decision points with a few one round fights thrown in. I did enjoy the story and getting to know the cast of Persona 4... and as well as some characters from Persona 3 that I've seen in the story paths for Yu and Yukiko up through their respective cliffhangers. Now I did considered doing a full on read out loud of all the narrative text... which lasted until we reached the cliff hanger for Yu, and yeah, that is just way too much to cover while trying to keep up with the chat. Still we'll set aside a night of the week to gradually go through the story mode.

Of course I did also learn this important tip for when I get around to playing Persona 4 (or Persona 4: Golden): Do not eat anything prepared by Yukiko.

Twitch Clips

For last night's raid, YrGamerBunni redeemed the Guide The Raid, and thus the fun was sent over to Aiwindels who was playing World of Warcraft over at twitch.tv/aiwindels!

While yesterday's day work day was shorten because we hit out goal rather quickly, it was not without incident with regard to Xfinity and a couple of dips of service. So pissed off as I was, first chance I got I called Xfinity to get a few an appointment set for this weekend to have a technician come out to check the lines, the tap and other things Xfinity needs to check to ensure nothing needs replacing or repaired. Now what is funny is that I cot a call from Xfinity's 'Advance Technical Team' who wanted to do same procedures remotely that were done the previous night in a blatant attempt to get me to cancel the technician visit this Saturday. That is some major league chutzpah.

Of course I would get a call this morning saying they fixed the issue and if I want to cancel the appointment for Saturday... and since I have not fully tested my connection this morning, I still confirmed the technician visit for Saturday.

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout featured Defensive Combo #1, Defensive Combo #2 and Front-Back Step Combo.

Moving on to the amazing stupidity that is Fox News refusing to air the January 6 hearings because of how they were involved in the build up and encouragement for the insurrection attempt back in 2021 just shows how gutless they are.

The Price Gouging done by places like Wegman's is getting idiotic in particular with how prices are being changed on the fly to penny pinch the consumer.

Played some Smite off stream last night, mostly just to grind out a few things, nothing too complicated.

For tonight's stream, we're going to get back to Fallout 76, and Iceman will be joining us at some point so we'll continue some of the various quests we both have.

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!

More Issues With Xfinity, Finally Played The Kenly College

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream was another stream that saw a few interruptions, resulting in two major stream restarts and the loss of 20 minutes of footage. I've documented it my journal so when I call Xfinity to report the problems, which I did after the stream I had all my ducks in a row, pulled up the admin data for my modem so I could see exactly what they were seeing. Also made full use of Twitch Inspector to further prove when issues were happening on stream (not so easy to do when I'm working.

Anyway the stream itself of Tom Clancy's The Division 2 saw Iceman and I tackle the Kenly College event, and I'm really wondering why the hell is it an every three week event because it seems like something folks would want to run repeatedly, but at the same time, some of its gimmicks and finding everything took time. I did like some of the Puzzle elements, and of course since we were playing the Division, that meant Iceman was apart of the fun, so there was some hilarity, including when one enemy ran around me to get to him. Now would I personally want to replay the Kenly College stuff... not really, but it was worth experiencing

Twitch Clips

For the raid, we dropped in on YrGamerBunni who was playing Mass Effect 2 and Fortnite over at twitch.tv/yrgamerbunni!

Finished the commission request for a WWE story based around Liv Morgan, Finn Balor and AJ Styles yesterday morning, and it's a good thing too, considering Finn turned heel on RAW. This has lead to a new commission request for a story based around the end of Halo 4 with Cortana and Master Chief... which will be hard because I've never played any of the Halo games.

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout involved  Intermediate Combo #1, Triple Combo #2 and Difficult Challenge Combo #1 for a 3o+ minute workout.

I've already seen what the assignment my day job has me on, and it is not what I was anticipating based on what I've seen others working on yesterday. Safe to say I'm not too thrilled with who'll I'll be dealing with this afternoon.

The 'suggestions for starters' regarding my Fantasy Baseball team is rather amusing, as it's suggesting I started Alejandro Kirk over JT Realmuto. Kirk may be having the better season, but it always seems as if it's not starting most of the time, even though he and Realmuto have played in the same amount of games.

For tonight's stream we're going mess around with Persona 4 Arena's story mode... and if it's anything like the story modes in the various BlazBlue games I've played, it should be pretty cool.

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!

Just Another Blogger Post Where The Original Draft Was Not Saved!

Good morning everyone,

Here is another blog post where things totally were not saved in their original format by Blogger for whatever reason, and thus I’m having to recall everything that I wrote originally.

Last night's stream of Overwatch was a lot of fun as usual, we were joined by PandaSweet for the entire stream, and we had a lot of more wins than losses that’s for sure. We actually had a couple of wins that took place on the Volskaya Industries map that lasted less than three minutes and thirty seconds with us on attack. I had a couple of Plays of the Game in Junkenstein’s Revenge as Cassidy and Torbjourn, plus one in a Quick Play match as Moira. Other characters used were D.va, Ashe, Soldiers 76, Mei and Junkrat.

OF course, there were some issues with my Internet Service Provider, Comcast/Xfinity, which resulted in the first 10 minutes of the stream being counted as lost footage. I've documented and I'll collect various notes so the next time I contact them I'll have a case to force a technician to come out and check everything.

Twitch Clips

We had two raids during the stream, first was from Pau6always who was playing Rocket League over at twitch.tv/pau6always! We also had a raid from CallMeMsGalaxy who was also playing Overwatch over at twitch.tv/callmemsgalaxy

For last night's raid we dropped in on Joliet4 who was doing a short music stream over on twitch.tv/joliet4!

Power Rangers: Battle for the Grid appears to be in an unplayable state, as I tried to do few matches to get back into the flow of playing it... but the game itself kept crashing. I was playing it on my Xbox One S , I tried uninstalling it, reinstalling it and power cycling my console. Now to see if it was a hardware issue, I did play some Smite, and knocked out this week's challenges with three games as a Mayan god and 2 as a Guardian by using Cabrakan. I had no issues at all with that. I did see on a few forums that Power Rangers has had an increasing series of crashes posted on various versions of the game depending on various factors. The good news is that I did get both of Cabrakan's achievements in a single match so it was worth it.

SMITE Achievements

  • TREMORS!: "Unlock the Smite Award "TREMORS!"

  • Shield Smash: "Unlock the Smite Award "Shield Smash"!

So the question becomes, will I ever stream Power Rangers; Battle for the Grid again... we'll see, I'll try installing it on the Xbox Series S console and see if I have the same issues.

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout featured Difficult Challenge Combo #2, Difficulty Challenge Combo #3 and Biceps Shape Focus Combo. This was also day number 700 in a row of working out,

Another Night of Persona 5 Royal

Good afternoon,

For last night's stream, well we did a back to back night of Persona 5 Royal, as we covered several weeks of in-game content, getting the last couple of Confidants maxed out, plus several trips into Mementos and getting different things done, plus other things while reaching December 24th... which meant we started what was the end game stuff of the original Persona 5. We tacked the first half of it, which mean seeing that who we thought was Igor was not Igor... and seeing the big commentary on the game is how easily society can just settle into just wanting things to be the same no matter how beneficial changing things for the better can improve things for all.

So this means, the next time we play Persona 5 Royal, we'll be heading into the final dungeon and boss battles of the original game plus everything that covers the end of the year and start of the Royal story content. Should be pretty interesting,

Persona 5 Royal Trophies

  • Unsurpassed Rebel: Conquered the Reaper.
  • Cruiser of Pride: Capsized: Completed the cruise ship Palace.

Twitch Clips

For the raid, we dropped in on Chem_Ron who was also playing Persona 5 Royal over at twitch.tv/chem_ron!

Now some may ask why wasn't last night a random night... we, we did a random night of gaming earlier in the week, plus I didn't have any of my three wireless controllers for the PS3, Xbox One or Xbox Series console charged. Of course that raises the question of why didn't I do something on the Nintendo Switch and well, I didn't want to start something up on a Saturday.

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout featured Straight Combo #2, Block Combo and Hip Shape Focus Combo for a solid 30 minutes.

My fantasy baseball team had a solid week, as of 12:45 PM Eastern today, they batted .276 (56/203) with 35 runs scored, 11 home  runs and 38 RBI, but no stolen bases. In 38 innings pitched, there were 2 wins, 1 save, 39 strikeouts with an ERA of 4.03 and a WHIP of 1.08.

It's the start of a new week, which means a recap of everything we featured last week which included: Overwatch, Lego Batman: The Video Game, Golden Axe: Beast Rider, Legends of Wrestlings, Marvel vs Capcom: Clash of Super Heroes, Rocky Legends, Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix, Ghostbusters: The Video Game, Final Fantasy XIV and Persona 5 Royal!

Sega announced the 'Mega Drive / Genesis Mini 2' and you can call me impressed, as finally Sega is starting to do more with it's library as this version will actually included games from the Sega CD era of gaming, which includes Shining Force CD, Mansion of Hidden Souls and more. It is speculated that Sega's next Mini console will feature a proper mix of games from not only the Sega CD era side, but also the Genesis itself and also the 32X. As I've stated every so often, Sega has a really rich history of gaming and its a shame they rarely do anything with their history.

Had to get on Comcast Xfinity case again yesterday afternoon regarding some instability in my Internet Service, which not only effects my streaming on Twitch but also working during the day.

For tonight's stream, it's Sunday which means Overwatch is on deck! So on that note we'll see you in later
