Chapter 14 of FF7-Remake took the entire stream?!

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream of Final Fantasy VII Remake was interesting, as Chapter 14 took the entire stream. Now if I was just tearing through and doing only the main story, we could've done a few chapters probably, but I put in the time to do all the side quests in the area, which took a lot of time, including having too look up where to go in some instances.

That said, it really did reek of padding in some instances because only in Chapter 14 do you unlock a fast travel option, but by the time you do there is no point, or at least in my case, because I would try and do multiple side quests at the same time to get done. Still, at the very least, I have done every side quest, so I should be getting the trophy for doing them in the coming weeks assuming there is one more town to explore and to get a feel for.

Didn't have work yesterday, so I took advantage to get a rough idea of how many LP vinyl records I have (roughly 200) while also searching for proper storage containers for them. The YouTube videos going through them to inventory what I have is going to be interesting because I have some stuff that goes back to the 1960s.

Finished the Daria short story commission last night, and that was a lot of fun to work on. Now I have a WWE (groan) short story commission to work on next

I have a sneaking feeling someone stole something from my front porch today, as I saw a notification for something being delivered, but by the time I woke up and checked, I saw the front gate wide open and nothing at my front door. 

Today's Fitness Boxing: Fist of the North Star workout featured Uppercut Combo #2, Straight Combo 32 and Straight Combo #1. It is possible to actually get 100 hits during a Boss Battle if you do well enough during your Special Technique portion. Also you don't have to do the daily workout to get the stamp, simply doing the daily missions contribute to building a streak as well.

From The Fist of the North Star to Hades

Good morning everyone,

Due to circumstances allowing it, we did two streams yesterday, the first was in the afternoon to feature Fitness Boxing: Fist of the North Star. This stream was about two hours, and featured a full 40+ minute workout plus all the Shin related battles in the Battle mode. We did unlock 10% of the achievements as well, and it does appear FB:FotNS will have a lot of the same achievements that Fitness Boxing 2 did in regards to reaching various goals.

Will I occasionally due bonus streams featuring Fitness Boxing: Fist of the North Star? Maybe, really depends on what I have going on any particular day and what I need to accomplish.

Last night's stream of Hades got off to a very good start, as we finally cleared an escape attempt on the first run of the night. We actually made it to Hades a couple of times but ended up coming short due to my lack of ability and just some bad luck in some of the boons found. Still, I also made some things harder for myself in terms of my button mash approach along with having the parch of punishment bounties enabled.

Now would I want to attempt to do 9 full escape attempts on Hades to see if I could get to the hidden ending, and probably the make efforts towards the epilogue? Maybe. At the very least, trying to unlock various things seems like a good goal  as an excuse of keeping Hades in the weekly line up for the time being.

The folks at TellTale Games have pulled a 3D Realms by changing game engines and starting over on developing The Wolf Among Us 2... this has of course brought back memories of endless development hell Duke Nukem Forever was stuck in.

With the Vinyl 45s now stored properly, my next concern in regards to archived stuff is the Vinyl LPs I have, which are a mixture of things my mom and dad got back in the 60s, 70s & 80s. I know my dad wants to know if I have a particular album that featured local radio personality Jerry Blavat

Finding Vinyl and Hess Trucks, Plus Final Fitness Boxing 2 Totals

Good morning everyone,

Work yesterday ended up being a bit short because the client wanted to review something order, or make changes to the study to try and make it more applicable to respondents. At least that was the impression I got.

So with the extra time I managed to liberate the crates that have vinyl records, both 45s and LPs from the storage closet, which means I got some unwanted deck furniture upstairs in the living room. But hopefully I'll be able to dispose of those items as well.

Also found a couple of Hess Trucks, and for those wondering, for a long time, the gasoline company Hess had these big holiday promotions regarding toy trucks. I remember having one back in the 80s, and the two I found, one from 1997 and one from 2000. Considering the novelty of them, these were a cool find.

For the first time I was asked by someone in the neighborhood about mom, because they were use to seeing her around. So that was a bit tough to convey.

Last night's stream opened with Fall Guys, and we certainly had some rough moments, as my timing in some rounds were way off. Did have a few close calls that nearly resulted in wins, but we didn't get any crowns. I did get the season pass because I was incredibly close to completing it anyway, so we have all the awards.

After the break, we switched to Gears of War 2, and too my surprise I was able to play with others in the Horde mode, which was a lot of fun. Playing on a fairly hard difficulty, I managed to hold my own with out getting downed once. We were then joined by Iceman, and following some issues with him being unable to hear me because Windows 11 is awful, we were able to get quite a bit done. We did have a comedy of errors with having to retry a few parts. But we had fun.

Venting a little

Good morning everyone,

Well, first off, while work was good yesterday afternoon, I was told  my application for PECO was declined. Apparently I did not fit their criteria... whatever the hell that means. So that was a blow to my day. It does actually raise a question as to why places say they are hiring but at the same time they are not hiring.

And on top of that, apparently my father is having some health issues, so I guess he assumes that my brother wouldn't have filled me in. But needless to say when my dad did call me at 10:40 PM, I was not able to take his call right away, and when I called him back it was clear he wanted to get preachy while saying he can't be on the phone long. So let me get this right, he wants to drop a bombshell on me, and declare how I should do things to his expectations.

Did piss me right the hell off because it wasn't that long afterward I returned his call, and he basically acts like it was inconvenient for him to actually talk. I ended up staying up a lot later than I intended because of how fucking irate I was. Did end up going through several boxes finding miscellaneous stuff to throw out, so there was that positive.

Anyway, last night's stream was mostly focused on Agents of Mayhem as we focused on unlocking different characters and getting these side stories done. Completing the Franchise Force team mission did lead to a few laugh out loud moments regarding the character of Hollywood and his 'early career'. Way I figure, we'll have all of the personal quests for the unlocked characters done on the next stream dedicated to this game which will be on Monday.

I did find it funny that the Next Up: Action Figures achievement is diamond, which just tells me a lot of gamers really gave up on Agents of Mayhem. Which is a shame, because it does have a lot of variety.  

StreamElements was bugging out for the second time in the same number of weeks, which is really weird to see.

The Return of Agents of Mayhem

Good morning everyone,

Day started a little rough as I got some mail related to mom, I'll have to remember to call my brother after work today to let him know what arrived.

Last night's stream of Agents of Mayhem got off to a slightly rocky start, because I forgot that this game doesn't not play exactly like the other games in the Saints Row franchise, with the ability to switch characters on the fly depending on the situation. We mainly did the earl story quests and focused on roaming around, finding collectables and getting the three DLC characters unlocked.

I did go out of my way to knock out a bunch of easy achievements as well by doing all the obvious stuff one would do just by roaming around, such as doing a race, getting into a massive brawl with Legion, finding a hate machine and finding the hidden room withing the hidden room in one of the lairs. 

The big question is going to be will I go out of my way to try and 100% the in game world, because I do remember not liking the race to check points side quests when I played the Steam version a few years ago.

Made a new Tier List video recently which actually ended up being making a Play List because of how the creator of a tier maker subject including a very small sampling of Blues & Soul artists from the 60s & 70s. Like how does one leave the likes of Wilson Pickett, Eddie Floyd and Arteha Franklin off of a tier making subject like that? Anyway that video will be on the YouTube channel in a couple of weeks.

Did have a job interview of sorts for PECO over in Philadelphia for a remote customer service role. We'll see if that leads to anything.

Got quite a bit of writing done in the Daria commission request, and as I said last night, when I get a commission request for a story where it's something not WWE related, it becomes a lot of fun to write. Also worked the Star Trek: The Next Generation short story which I'm intending to be March's exclusive for my Subscribestar followers.

Well I solved the audio problems

Good morning everyone,

So as I was going insane with the increasing audio lag, I decided to switch from monitoring the console audio through OBS to just having its audio go through to my gaming monitor's speakers, which means hearing stuff in games is going to be a lot different for me and I lose the ability the hear things from a 360 degree perspective since there is no need for the headphones. On the plus side, this does mean I get to bother neighbors with Alerts and redeems that my viewers use during my broadcasts... and if I ever rope my Cousin or Brother into being apart of a stream, the set up is now perfect for them to hear game audio as well.

As for last night's stream, we played Overwatch 2 was a lot of fun, as we were joined by both BangBangBang and PandaSweet for a lot of matches, which lead to many wins and a few losses along the way. Picked up 4 plays of the game as Orisa, Reinhardt, D.va and Moira. Other characters used were Ana, Cassidy, Junkrat, Ana, Zenyatta among others. This was also a great test regarding Discord to Xbox Live Chat, as now I can use both depending on what I'm playing and with whom. 

And let me tell ya, there is a real difference in playing Overwatch with and without headphones in that trying to track certain characters is not as easy because the sound mixture is to have the sounds coming from all sides.

Despite the computer troubles that popped up, I was able to save the Plays of the Game I had prior to 2/16, so when I put together the collection of Overwatch POTGs for February, I'll have them all. Granted they won't be shown it order.

Finished the WWE short story commission yesterday afternoon, and that client wants an instant follow up... I really need to stop having open endings on things WWE related. But before I do that, I had another commission request come in for a Daria short story based on the episode The Invitation, I already have about 1400 words written on that, because I needed the dialog from two scenes to make it work.

Elder Scrolls Online A Learning Experience

Good afternoon everyone,

Last night's stream of Elder Scrolls Online was an experience, the first being that my old Bethesda Account apparently would not link with my Xbox account, so I had to create a new one. Once we got into the game it was amazing how kind of pick up and play is with the tutorial... as one of my biggest concerns was trying to grasp how a PC MMO would work on console with a whole lot fewer buttons to work with... and it works fine.

Now I do feel it is a lot like Fallout 76 in many ways, with the limits on how much you can carry, but is par for the course I believe. As a replacement for Final Fantasy XIV, it works fine, and as long as I have someone to team up with, it'll be pretty entertaining as I'm kind of going for an ambush style of game play because that seemed the most simple. Oh... and I went with an Wood Elf that uses daggers as weapons... because, why the hell not? 

On a side note, I did feel navigating to be less intuitive than Fallout 76, as the compass shows so many icons on it that it was easy for me to get lost!

As for the audio lag I keep noticing, well... I keep searching for new fixes, and I thought I resolved it before the stream, but nope! Well, here's hoping the fix I found for tonight will work

Nearly finished the WWE short story commission, I was hoping to finished it yesterday afternoon, but I ended up getting distracted with a few things around the house.

Did watch Episode 1 of Star Trek Picard's third season and I'm almost tempted to subscribe to see the rest of the season as it did catch my interest.... but... nah!
