Casually Doing Brotherhood of Steel Quests

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream of Fallout 76 did have two partial interruptions, but the stream was not split into multiple parts. 

Anyway, a big focus was gradually doing the Brotherhood of Steel quests, which should be done well after anything involving Foundation and the Crater, but hell, the game as no real continuity as far as I can tell when it comes to getting things done. There were a few intense battle situations as it seems like enemies were hitting a lot harder this week, and I have made up my mind that I don't like Knight Shin.

Beyond that, a lot of challenges were done as I got banged out quite a few to gain several levels on the scoreboard. Sure I used what Atoms I did managed to acquire to boost a few levels, but hey things were done.

Big shoutout to Iceman for being apart of the weekly fun, as we started back on getting some of his main quests done, which does mean revisiting things I've done. Considering all his help with The Division and The Division 2, it's about time I get to act as the back up support!

Finished writing the Bella Twins commission request yesterday, and promptly got another one based around Star Wars Force Unleashed which I have not played. Good thing there is a partial transcript online I can use to piece something together. 

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout featured Difficult Challenge Combo #2, Block Combo and Difficult Challenge Combo #3 for 34 minutes. My timing felt a bit off today, as I had more misses than normal when it came to Left and Right Uppercuts from both the Orthodox and Southpaw stances

The 76ers announced they plan to have a privately owned arena in the Fashion District of Philadelphia... but I can almost guarantee that's not going to happen, because 20+ years ago the Phillies tried to get a stadium built in the same area and it was shot down hard by the city.

Xfinity was really under performing this morning as I had a number of issues and connection hangs.

A Night of Cultist Simulator

Good morning everyone,  

For last night's stream we checked out Cultist Simulator, which is available on Steam... and it is basically what it's advertising, it's a simulator of forming and maintaining a cult. Set in the early 1900s, there are several branching paths, and a lot of luck, resource management. 

While the game may look simple, it's very complex as there are timers on everything, and there is a slight sense of anxiety when there are over a half dozen things to manage. There are a number of random effects that can occur, and the way to fend off things like dread, restlessness and other factors can cause a ton of headaches. It is very easy to lose track of things, as I proved several times when things look like progress was was being made/

This is also a game where reading everything out loud (or summarizing) is kind of important for streaming, which should play to my strengths considering my day gig, but the font is rather small and blends too much with the background with it being a light blue on dark blue. May not seem like a factor, but I position my monitors to a fair distance away to avoid eye strain.

Now will we play Cultist Simulator again, more than likely yes, as it falls into the category of 'Throw To', as it's perfect for filling in a night between major games, splitting part of a stream with. .And if the rate of unlocking achievements for it are correct, it is clearly a game that would have me trying to figure out how to accomplish everything it has.

We went ahead and added the digital version of Stray for the PS4 to the collection, so that is something we'll certainly check out as soon as possible.

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily work out featured Intermediate Combo #2, Hip Shape Focus Combo and Straight Combo #2 for 28 minutes.

Trimmed up my hair last night, mostly sides and rear of the crown (top of the head), where my hair always grows in kind of a dual layer. If I can slide my fingers through the back of my hair and basically lift a good portion of it almost like the trunk of a car, then it's time to give it a trim. Also the decrease in hair volume in the back means I can comfortably rock a ponytail

I rather like the new Overwatch League exclusive skin for Mercy, as the medieval knight armor certainly fits with her often having dialog with Reinhardt and Brigitte, who also wear medieval style armor.

We wrapped up Persona 4 Arena

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream was pretty damn solid as we wrapped Persona 4: Arena in order to list as a game finished on this year's tour. This involved quickly re-going through Yu's story making only 'Choice A' for all dialog portions in order to get the secrete ending, now I did play out the content that was after the cliffhanger. Like with every other story chapter, the ending just sets up what takes place in Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, which we'll eventually play to see how everything ends officially.

We also went through the arcade mode with every single remaining character that I didn't do runs with previously (Akihiko, CHie, Kanji, Shadow Labrys, Teddi, Yosuke and Yukiko) and doing their Instant Kill moves. However, I needed to do one more instant kill move in arcade mod for Yu, to get the overall achievement called BAM!. Also picked off the 'Denied Pets' achievement which basically involved me getting my ass handed to me by the A.I. on 'Hell Difficulty'... funny thing is I did hung in there, but Kanji on that difficulty setting just whooped my ass.

There was something that stood out about me when doing those arcade runs, and that's Teddie has a version of events that involves him meeting Labrys sooner while facing the fake shadow up himself before facing Shadow Labrys. I the change up in variety was a nice change of pace, particularly when some lines of dialog are clearly recycled  

Of course we do want to say thank you to the viewers in the chat for kicking in 300 bits, as well as to DaemonsW0lf for renewing their subscription to the channel for their 11th month! The support, as always, is truly appreciated!. 

But with Persona 4 Arena now wrapped, will I jump straight to Persona 4 Arena Ultimax... and the answer to that is no, for the simple reason that is a PS4 title, and we're currently dedicating PS4 streams to Persona 5 Strikers. Now I was using the Xbox Series S to playing Persona 4 Arena, so for certain, we'll be using the Xbox One S with whatever title I choose to feature next.

On a side note:the stream did have one hiccup but nothing major as everything was kept as one broadcast and not split in too!.

A New Week Starts

Good afternoon everyone,

Last night's stream of Overwatch saw the usual Sunday night shenanigans and thankfully without any issues from Xfinity. Big shout out and thanks to Tokidoki and PandaSweet for being apart of the fun, we ended up going 5-5 in out final ten matches, but two of those wins were rather epic in how hard fought they were. In fact one match saw all three of us get post-match cards based on our individual performances.

In terms of how I did solo, I picked up two plays of the game as Moira this week which is always nice. Other characters used were D.va, Orissa, Reinhardt, Brigitte and Anna. I didn't really get an opportunity to do any DPS roles on this week's stream. Ah well.

Did mess around some with Overwatch 2 last night, mostly to try and figure out some timing with Moira's new kit, and I think I figured out some things... but it does appear her new 'damage orb' can be blocked by enemy shields. Also in a 1v1 against Brigitte, Moira no longer has an advantage as far as I can tell.

Finished writing the latest commission request featuring WWE's Xia Li yesterday afternoon, and it turned out fairly alright I think. Though some complained I did not include Gifs or Pictures to add flavor to it, to which I say there are far too many writers who basically use Gifs and Pictures as ways not to write out various details.

So I'm thinking a head ot Saturday's stream, and I do have NFL Game Day '98 in my collection... maybe we'll check that out?

Had issues with Amazon yesterday in that the delivery person lied on exactly where the placed my package. And trying to lodge a complaint certainly was not possible. Still, we now have The Quarry and Life Is Strange Volume #6 which collects the final issues of the series published by Titan Comics. The plan for the Quarry is for it to be apart of the Spooky Stuff in October

Staying on Life is Strange though, the final issues kind of save the series which certainly went out of its way to try and make the trio of Max-Rachel-Chloe work, but it was quite clear early on that it was not going to be something that really worked, so the final issues being about getting back to normal really ends the series on a high note, in my opinion.

A Weird End To A Wild Night

Good afternoon everyone,

Well last night's stream had a lot of variety, but let's talk about how it ended. For the first four hours, there were no issues at all, then there was a slight drop off for a few moments, nothing major... but then at 11:14 PM we had issue to the point that it forced the stream to split into 2 parts. Thankfully I was going to be wrapping up anyway, but that's the first instance of that in a quite a few weeks.  

Anyway, last night we lead off with NFL Game Day, and despite the disc having more scratches than a curtain in a room full of cats, it was a fun experience. Granted the first game I played as the Eagles vs the Cowboys ended in a loss, but by the end of it I had enough of any idea of how to play. The second game, where I played as the Bears vs the Jaguars ended in a dominate win... granted the Jaguars were one of the worst teams in the game, but hey a win is a win.

I broke out the Dance Pad and loaded up Dance Dance Revolution Konamix for the 2nd game of the evening... and needless to say, you probably will never see that game streamed by me ever again for two reason. One being, the added sound of me 'dancing' on the dance pad sounds terrible, and Two being I mostly did this to see if the Dance pad itself still worked... and good news is it does.

I also took a look at The Incredible Hulk: The Pantheon Saga... and for 20+ years I always thought it was a side scrolling beat-em up. I had no idea it was a 3D game with puzzle elements. I can say that the music sounded good, but I couldn't make heads or tails out of the controls.

We switched over to the PlayStation 2 to mess around with Capcom vs. SNK 2, during a couple of arcade mode runs, and even taking a crack at survivor mode (getting 9 wins as Sakura). Unlike an earlier attempt at playing it while back, we didn't have the game freezing when fighting Rugal (Since I mostly used the Capcom characters).

Lastly we spent some time playing Overwatch 2, as I continue to practice using D.va to see what can and cannot be done against live opponents. Only won one match, but had a great moment of getting a double kill by dropping my mech on a Widowmaker and Soldier 76!

Two More Jails Conquered In Persona 5 Strikers!

 Good afternoon everyone,

Last night's stream of Persona 5 Strikers ended up being longer than I intended only because I went after some side quests I could have saved for Next Friday, plus I got lost in the Kyoto Jail, which required that I looked up how to navigate it because of warping portals. It reminded me of some of my least favorite aspects of Persona 5 Royal in some Palaces with a lot of misdirection in getting around. Also that one on one battle with duplicate Joker was rather tough, in fact it's a good think I'm constantly stock pile healing items because I was nearly defeated, even on 'Easy' difficulty.

In terms of the plot, Zenkinchi now has his Persona and looks bad ass, Akane was used as a pawn to trap the Phantom Thieves, and the parallels of two of the main villains being tie ins to Mark Zuckerberg and Donald Trump isn't lost on me. We covered a huge chunk of Zolf's Master Arts so we can easily tackle that at the start of next Friday's stream.

From what I can tell, we're the path to finishing Persona 5 Strikers within two more streams. Granted the longer streams dedicated to knocking out as much of the side quests and main game has helped. There are number of grind heavy achievement left as well, like getting everyone to level 70... however, at this point I've only gotten Joker to level 51, so knocking out 19 levels seems like a tall ask.

JT Reamluto is trying to walk back the stupid comments he made about not getting vaccinated, thus refusing to play in Canada. He tried to say that 'he's from Oklahoma' as an excuse, but all that proves is that he's an elitist on top of being a fool. 

Unlike the last few weeks, we didn't do a Fitness Boxing workout right after the stream, instead I went to bed almost straight away after getting the Facebook highlight reel put together. A Fun Night Of Final Fantasy XIV

Good morning everyone, 

Last night's stream of Final Fantasy XIV featured a lot of silly things happening, first being the second of the new Hildibrand quests sees his soul basically restored without much hassle, and now I'm really curious as to what his time in the world of the First would have been like. Also the set up of a plot involving aliens was really cool, since there are near endless possibilities for various antics with the Manderville stuff. 

Got my Dragoon Lancer to level 40, so next week we'll open with the next job quest. We also did nearly all the big daily roulette with PandaSweet joining for a lot of the fun, as we covered some ones that I don't think I've done on stream, including the standard Omega boss fight

Of some some of the more interesting stuff happened early in the stream with some chatting in regard to  an old 'visor' I got from a Star Trek exhibit back in the 90s, that prompted me to go find a photo from that period to get an idea of what year that was (1994 at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia, PA for those curious)  

There was also proof of the running gag of my 'gaming to do list' at least as far as the Nintendo Switch was concerned, and getting an idea how old a figure of the Tasmanian Devil I have is (32 years old). and yeah, I have some things that date back a long ways in my collection folks.

Work really dragged yesterday, as it the assignment we are on just has too many variables that makes things impossible to accomplish. At the very least the production rate has changed

Messed around with Smite last night, mostly to grind out matches to unlock some of the Nickelodeon event awards. Even picked up an achievement with Lancelot, which gives me a total of 146 out of 306 current achievements that Smite has.
