Grandia HD Collection and other notes

I timed t hings out nicely this evening with Grandia in that we covered the Twin Towers, saw Leen's scenes with Justin and Feena's with Mullens,  and the big thing was Sue's departure with the trips to the Mysterious Vanishing Hill to send her back to Parm. For the first time I heard that scene voiced thanks to the fine folks at the Spirit Stone, and it hits way harder, as Sue is really a delightful character. Also we covered the duel with Gadwin and the Mermaids... but I wasn't as thorough as I thought I was, and missed out on some treasures.

But at this point I have all of Justin and Feena's level one and two magic unlocked, so we're way ahead of the game in that regard, so focusing on speicifc things will mean we'll have a great shot of getting at lot done.

Finished the Spider-Man story, though I had a bit of writers block when it came to finishing it up to keep things making sense, next up is another Spider-Man story

Need to take advantage of the good weather this week and cut some branches... and probably run the hand mower as well.  

Recorded the Daria Reaction's episode for this week, See Jane Run, which will premier on Wednesday. I'll be recording two more episodes for next week to wrap up Season Two

God Eater: Resurrection and other notes

We got a good bit done in God Eater Resurrection tonight, as someone popped into the chat and helped me figure out aiming, which really make a huge difference. Also finished off all of the Difficulty 3 missions, so we're up to the fourth story arc and we're now the Captain of the squad, which is cool.Figure next week we'll take the approach of doing all non-story missions first before advancing the plot

Tomorrow Night's Stream: Grandia

We're picking up in the Twin Towers tomorrow and we're going to see about making the big push towards Sue and Gadwin's departures. With a five hour stream we should be able to do that, depending on how much I dilly dally with farming enemies.

Work was solid, had to talk my way into several interviews but it was good

Did not get any writing done because my fence was being repaired, and I was distracted the entire time will be working on the Spider-Man commission tomorrow, basically just have to write the 'action scene'

Finished Stargate SG-1 Season 10, and while Unending clearly wasn't supposed to be the series finale it served as one quite nicely

Going to record this week's episode of the Daria Reactions before bed.

We reached the village of Gumbo and dealt with the Maddragon in order to get the village back to being a party town, The Maddragon fight ended up being more difficult than it needed to be because I was trying to farm magic and skill experience during it, which lead to Justin and Sue being KO'ed a few times. Still we reached the Twin Towers so we're in a good spot to knock out several things on Saturday's stream.

Also was invited to the Spirit Stone discord where the folks there are going to be making a Grandia Abridge project which debuts later this month!

Smite and other notes

Tonight we played and were joined by PandaSweet, winning 4 matches while losing 5. I played as Bellona, Discordia, and Sol on the evening. We had some bad luck with people going AFK and just choosing not to engage in the matches . Still we had fun

Sea of Thieves was on the agenda, but Iceman had an issue come up last minute that caused major headaches for him. I can completely relate

Tonight's stream of Grandia saw me trying to remember exactly how to get through Typhoon Tower as there was things that needed to be done in order access the tallest portion of the tower. On the plus side we did dealt with the Klepp King in pretty short order. The fact that I miss a mana egg is rearing its ugly head giving that Sue just has Water and Earth magic to use. On the plus side, Justin and Feena have all magic sets unlocked, so leveling them up will simply mean more battle hunting..

We did set things up so that the next time we feature Grandia, we're already halfway to Gumbo so we should be able to knock that out straight away.

We accomplished what we set out to do in climbing the End of the World which end up being a lot more stress free than one would assume or as I remembered, This means we are closing in on the half-way point of the game, because we met Gadwin who basically exists to add a bit of over powered muscle to the party for a short while... which also means we're closing in saying good-bye to Sue/

Now I first played Grandia way back in 2000, and it occurred to me tonight that Sue getting separated from Justin and Feena after climbing the wall is intentional to put a larger level gap between her and them. so whenever she gets hit by stronger enemies it really looks like she is struggling, a fact proven when one enemy took off 75% of her health. I get it, it's to stress that she is a little kid and make her seem like a liability, but considering she's been my heavy hitter it a bitter pill to swallow

Got a notation from the Bureau of Housing ordering me to fix the fence which has not been an issue  ever since some cunt ran into several years ago. The timing of that in relation to finally seeing what my property taxes are going to look like is rather suspicious.

Because of this stress, I didn't get all the writing I had planned done but will have the Star Wars commission finished tomorrow

Of course before I do that I need to go to the bank and do a withdraw because of the fence fiasco

Overwatch 2 and other notes

Overwatch 2 tonight was solid for the most part, as PandaSweet and I won a lot more than we lost, some matches did features some people clearly intent on losing just because it was 'Quick Play'. Playing off the TV instead of the monitor proved to be a world of different in terms of being able to aim about 13% better than I do normally with the likes of Cassidy and Widowmaker.

Overwatch 2 will return next Sunday

Tomorrow night we're back to Grandia as we look to real the major story point which is climbing the End of the World. 

For the raid we dropped in on  reese who was also playing Overwatch 2

Played some RetroMania and knocked out several achievements, mostly to keep a current streak going.

Finished the WWE commission earlier this morning which I meant to do last night. Also got started on a Star Wars related one

I got remember to get get snacks when I do groceries, it just never occurs to me until long after the fact.
