Persona 4 Golden and other notes

Tonight was one of those nights where I felt very tired... and with good reason, I've been up since 3 AM.

Anyway, we completed the Void dungeon to capture Mitsuo and saw how Rise is just as bad  of a cook as Chie and Yukiko ... and poor little Nanako saying what their made was edible. It's no one everyone gets real protective regarding her.

On the plus side I realized the only Social Link I really screwed up was Hermit, which is tied to specific side quests for the Fox.  There will be an opportunity to take full advantage of it 

Next time we play we'll be checking out the Midnight channel and building towards the next story arc which should focus on Naoto.

Overwatch 2 and other notes

Tonight's stream of Overwatch was one to forget as I was flying solo the entire time and my tendency to check out of matches ended up being a highlight. I did focus on using characters I've rarely used. 

I did distract myself by having Spotify on to singing along to the music which certainly made the night move faster.

For the raid we dropped in on Kalenal who was playing Final Fantasy XIV

Also dived into Persona 4 Golden to figure out how the Reaper gimmick works and safe to say, doing it off stream was for the best because keep tracks of how many chests were open was a pain.

Did a little yard work early this morning, mostly on the sidewalk

Got started on the WWE commission request, took a while to figure out how I wanted the set up to go. Should be able to knock it out during the day tomorrow.

We got a a lot done in Persona 4 Golden tonight, acing the Finals, getting some personality categories maxed out, and took advantage of my Social Link screw ups to access the Chagall Cafe and do a little fishing. 

But the big thing we did was grind out levels while looking for items related to side quests in order complete Margaret's Social Link. I did not like doing the Fusion Requests in Persona 3 Portable or Persona 5 Royal, but knowing they were coming meant that I was going to grind as much as possible to ensure we got them done.This has resulted in the Compendium being 72% complete, so that can take a backseat going forward. 

Next time we play we're going to deal with the Copy Cat Killer, going right into the dungeon which should... FINALLY... open the door to Naoto's story arc!

I did go back and forth on including MultiVersus, but Persona 4 is the major priority game.

Need to do some laundry, granted it's mostly shirts and shorts since I don't go anywhere

Finished the Spider-Man commission, next one on my list is a WWE related one. Will start on that before I go to bed and with luck we could bang it out during the day tomorrow

J-STARS Victory VS and other notes

So first impression of J-Stars Victory Vs is that it has a great intro with a full theme that shows off all the characters, but there isn't a tutorial mode. On the other hand it is possible still to get all the online achievements done as I proved, even as I was figuring out the standard controls. There is an arcade mode, but clearly its meant for expert players based on apparent difficulty ratings.All the character models look great in fact I say they look better than Jump Force.

Game-play wise, it's a two on two arena fighter with no tagging in and out but there are assists characters. Every character needs to be unlocked, but to do that you need both in-game currency as well as to level up to have 'room' to recruit people.

Roster is pretty solid with a wide variety of Shonen Jump franchises such as One Piece, Luckyman, Dragon Ball, Naurto and Fist of the North Star. There is no English audio track, so everyone speaks in Japanese.which is fine considering that's how U had the audio set up for Ghost of Tsushima

Tonight's stream of Persona 4 Golden saw me make a huge mistake and we're now behind on two Social Links, Yosuke and Fox, this was due to me not realizing I could have turned in a side quest, and a snowball effect has developed.

Still Rise is now formally apart of the team, Naoto is starting to get involved in the story, and there are plenty of ideas in my head regarding different character combinations.

Saturday's stream is really looking like it will be dedicated to slice of life stuff, so there is a slim-chance we'll start work on the next Dungeon, but if we do, we'll do what we did before, fulfill the side-quests we picked up and knock out the added boss that is now in Rise's Palace.

 Persona 4 Golden will return on Saturday as we have Finals to take part in!

Tomorrow night we're starting J-Stars Victory VS+ on the PS4

Sea of Thieves and other notes

Tonight's Sea of Thieves Stream was very silly, as Iceman and I discovered how nuts things can get when it comes to chugging crog.

We also sunk a enemy vessel and found a butt ton of loot on Crescent Isle, though I did get stuck in a watery spot and had to be exploded to escape. We also did some fishing as well, managing to snag  two fishes

Plus made a move for the Fantasy baseball team we're currently in first place overall, and I'm hoping things shake out to where we can build on that lead.

Sea of Thieves returns next Wednesday

Tomorrow night we return to Persona 4 Golden... and we're not seeing Naoto's arc yet, turns out the character is being introduced

For the raid we dropped in on ZoneSama for their weekly Zone-Out stream.

Work was solid, hate that jobs were switched in the middle but oh well.

Got a good portion of the Spider-Man commission done, going to go back and forth on the action bits between two pairs of characters. 

Messed around with MultiVersus, some of the PVE things are cute, but the game does have issues with online, mainly with PC Players who lock in for a match and troll by not playing! That was a major reason why I stopped playing in the first place.

We got a lot done in Persona 4 Golden this evening, even with the late start because... things went very wrong for me during afternoon and early evening (not the last time I'll say that in today's notes).

So let's see, we rescued Rise, saw Teddy unlocking his Persona, got Yu up to level 60, started the Hanged Man and Devil Social links, caught a bug perfectly, shopped with Tanaka 5 times and oh yeah... continue to basically out pace the game's enemies by a factor of two to one.

At this point we are waiting for Rise to recover from her ordeal, but I already know the next arc will feature Naoto because of how drunk Dojima got. So finally, the best girl will be apart of the team.

Our next stream will either feature Sea of Thieves or MultiVersus, depends on Iceman's availability.

I was late to work today... I know how can I be late to work when I work from home. Answer, simple... things we horrible wrong for me in the late afternoon and early evening.

Finished writing the Teen Titans story, and started work on a Spider-Man related one. Hopefully I can have that done by Thursday
