Fall Guys, Fallout and Getting Follow Bot Bombed

 Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream opened with Fall Guys, and surprisingly I ended up in the Final Round 4 times, twice as a solo and twice in Squad mode, which was amazing... and I came within whiskers of actually pulling off some wins. But it was a lot of fun regardless. We were also joined by PandaSweet for a few rounds as well.

After the break, we switched over to Fallout 76, and we helped Iceman with a few of his Brotherhood of Steel quests that were combat heavy, and we were joined by PowerThumbZ as well in an attempt to get one of the nukes launched to go for it's related achievement. Unfortunately, someone else beat us to it and we got kicked when maybe 75% of the way through. We'll give it a shot in a private session down the road. 

Now unfortunately, we ended up getting Followed Botted towards the end of the stream, 2,500 new followers. It didn't take me long to realize what was happening and I have to laugh. I did clip the incident and reported it to Twitch.

We'll never know how The TellTale Games Of Thrones Series Will End

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream opened up with Game of Thrones: A Telltale series, with episode 5 and 6 being played back to back. But despite all the choices I made to give it the most dismal ending possibles as far as a cliffhanger goes... we'll never know how things play out because TellTale games, well the original version of that company, went out of business. Sure it was relaunched, but they don't have the license rights to do another Game of Thrones series (hence why you cannot buy it digitally, you have to find a physical copy).

Still, I did go with choice that lead to Mira losing her head so that Asher is the lone surviving Forrester and Tutle choosing to march back to Ironrath instead of defending the North Grove. Why did I have Mira lose her head, well I was playing up her 'pride' as a Forrester.  

On a side note, the achievement for Chapter 5 in Episode 6 is glitched, and didn't pop during my play through on stream, I replayed the chapter, that didn't pop it, and I  tried the delete the save method, and that did not work to fix the bug either. Will justify another play through down the road.

We also played some Smite, winning 2 matches and losing 1 in Arena, which was a nice surprise. Always love how folks don't know how to deal with Athena, because her basic 1-2-3 combo gets stronger as the match goes on. In fact in the match I used Athena, I had 28 assists... in a match where my team had over 30 eliminations, meaning I was involved in every elimination!

With the wrapping up of Game of Thrones, we're at 59 games finished on stream for the year... so we're going to do a short game on next Tuesday's stream called Abzu to give us an even 60. This will also give me plenty of time to put together the image to celebrate this year's gaming tour.

Not a fan with how the Winter Wonderland event is set up for Overwatch 2, basically forcing folks into playing game modes that weren't too popular in previous years 

Got some writing done last night on the WWE Short story commission, would've finished writing it too if it wasn't for realizing the glitched achievements for Game of Thrones.

Team Star Is Kind of Interesting

Good morning everyone

Last night's stream of Pokemon Violet was really productive in terms of covering various objectives, with the first being The Sky Titan... which turned out to being a giant bird pokemon, which was basically taken down by my Pikachu straight away. We then moved into dealing with the first two Team Star bases (Dark and Fire), which was a different type of battle, which took advantage of the game's let's go feature to have my top three Pokemon wreck Team's Star's Pokemon before going into a boss battle.

That said, Team Star certainly has an interesting back story, where they were people who banded together because they were bullied... they are the outsiders, who didn't quite fit in at the 'Academy'. So I kind of have some sympathy for them because it appears they are just minding their own business. Will be interesting to see how that plays out.

We left off basically on the doorstep of the third gym which is an electric-type gym. We'll see how many attempts it takes me to get past it on next Monday's stream

Picked up four King Crazy ranks across both Persona 3 and Persona 5 dancing games. Whims of Fate in Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight took several dedicated attempts. Blooming Villain has a few tricky parts that I keep only getting "Good" timing on.

Fun night of Overwatch 2

Good afternoon everyone,

Last night's stream was certainly filled with wins and losses, in fact there was a long stretch with a lot of losses in a row early on. Still we ended up getting on a stretch of wins too. We also had a variety of folks joining is, big thanks to PatD, PandaSweet and LvStrkr for being apart of the games. I personally picked up two Plays of the Game, one as Mei and one as Junker Queen. Other characters sued were Moira, D.va, Reinhardt, Lucio, Junkrat and several others. 

Also the 3rd and 4th clips listed below are both from the same match, one ended up being Play of the Game, while the other was just a perfect combination of events leading to that match being won.

So that Maximillian_DOOD and the Yo Videogames crew was playing DKO Divine Knockout last night, unfortunately they were just doing 2 v 2, becuase it would be interesting to see how they would handle a 3 v 3 situation. He also did a Boss Rage for Tekken 5: Dark Resurrection that I wish I could've stayed up to watch, but thankfully the twitch VODs pick up from where you last watched a live stream for a channel.

Random Saturday Was Random

Good afternoon everyone,

Last night's stream had a weird moment where the stream restarted, there was a very brief period of frame drops and the upstream was unstable, which was just weird. Nothing like that happened since last Saturday night.

Anyway, we featured three games last night, the first being DKO: Divine Knockout and we dedicate mostly the entire first half of the stream to it, playing as Athena, who has a pretty cool kit, and we ended up winning quite a few matches, which considering they are best three out of five, is saying a lot. Of all the game modes, I despise the 'Gather Coins To Put In The Chest' one.... but the others like Knockout, King of the Hill and Oddball are all incredibly fun. Also picked up quite a few achievements.

Lastly we played Ghostbusters: Spirits Unleashed, got in one match as a ghost... and nearly won but ended up taking a wrong turn and got trapped at the literal last second. Had several successful matches as a Ghostbuster, and managed to pick up one achievement in it.

Learned that one of my uncles was a professional boxer back in the early 1980s, which was pretty cool. He fought in 19 bouts, won 17 of them... and the other 2 matches were a draw.

Managed to score a couple of King Crazy ranked performances in Persona 5 Dancing the last couple of nights off-stream. Granted it and its Persona 3 counterpart both have the auto-scratch option.

Nearly finished the short story commission for a WWE story featuring Sarah Logan, I'll have it done before dinner for sure, and I better put the notes together for the obvious follow up based on Teagon Nox's return two weeks ago.

Happy Birthday to my father who turns 67 years old today. Talked to him earlier, and he's doing all right, he's pleased about the a college football team where he lives being in a playoff situation... means free drinks every time they score a touchdown at the local bar.

We completed Person 4 Dancing All Night

Good afternoon everyone,

Last night we wrapped up Persona 4: Dancing All Night, unlocking all remaining trophies, watching all the visual novel segments, clearing every default song of the game at least once and having a good time. I have the 'prologue' that is unlocked at the very end does a great job providing context to the actual story and the ending when Rise still saying she needed her friends. 

I made numerous attempts at getting a King Crazy with the speed up challenge modifier enabled, and came incredibly close numerous times. Also found that somehow a Fever Time between Yukiko and Chie wasn't seen before...same also applied to one of Fever Time's involving Nanako as a partner dancer. Also, Margaret's dance has some really funky note placements that will take some time to master... if I was going to continue grinding away at this game.

So what's next on Friday nights... well, it's going to be Persona 4 Arena Ultramax, the sequel / refinement of the original Persona 4 Arena. It continues the story, adds more characters from Persona 3 and Persona 4. We'll see how many achievements for it we can unlock without having to play online matches.

Learning about something devasting...

Good morning everyone,

As everyone knows, at 9 PM I typically take a break during my streams, and as of late in addition to just stretching my legs, grabbing a snack, I've been checking up on my mom seeing if she needs anything. However last night, I learned something... devastating. My mom has cancer, stage IV lung cancer. She was a smoker, but she quit years ago. I'm just torn up inside... because my mom without question is the strongest person I know in terms of her will power. Hell I'm scared out of my wits. And what I'm going to ask does not come easy.

About a week ago, because of what turned out to be related health concerns and costs, we set up a Go Fund Me for my mom over at https://gofund.me/6adf8354 if could spare a little bit to help, we would greatly appreciated. All funds would go directly to my mom to help cover medical costs and related expenses. 

Of course during the stream, we were playing Final Fantasy XIV, we finished The Carrier Quests to get the PostMoogle hat, which just looks stylish with the Squall attire from Final Fantasy VIII. Also did the variant dungeons for the first time, was lucky to find a group after a 1/2 hour wait. Also discovered that there are some loose side quests that popped up in areas that I cleared already, but I'll go back for them after I finish the side quests in the areas added in Endwalker.
