The Middle Of Game of Thrones The Telltale Series

Good morning everyone

Last night's stream featured episodes 3 and 4 of Game of Thrones: The Telltale Series, and as with prior play-throughs the question becomes what shall I do... make sure Asher lives or make sure Rodderick lives, because I do like both characters. But since the original Telltale games went out of business, we'll never know fully how things will play out. Did discover that if you 'attack' in Whitehill, it means everyone dies... and I'm surprised that was not an option for story progression. I mean it does resolve a lot of the issues after all.

Work was rather bleh yesterday... nothing fell into place like things were last week... hope today will be a better day.

Made sure to get the Battle Pass for the new season of Overwatch 2, and I love some of the skins that are featured in it, so I'll be making sure to grind that out as quickly as possible!

Phillies signed Taijuan Walker and I certainly feel like they over-paid for him. He's a glorified #4 starter but will be earning #1 starter money when compared to Zach Wheeler and Aaron Nola.  There is also speculation that the Phillies are looking at Matt Strahm for the bullpen.

More Pokemon, More Xfinity Issues.

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream of Pokemon Violet was very productive in terms of accomplishing big things, such as facing the Rock Titan... which was a lot bigger than I thought it would've been, and also clearing the second gym, which was a Grass Type focus gym, which meant my one Fire-Type Pokemon basically one-shot everything. Then I ended up getting lost trying to find my way to what the second Titan. Also figured out the picnic gimmick, sandwich making... and the fact that letting my lead Pokemon roam around could mean some fairly easily leveling up. That said some Pokemon end up being a real pain to capture, as I feel like I lost 15 Poke Balls in failed capture attempt that were complete hog wash. Did managed to catch Eevee tonight as well.

Now for the Xfinity issue, and this was very weird, the X8 gateway that was just replaced on Saturday, suddenly turned off as if it lost power. No other electrical device plugged in to the same outlet (which were my desk lamps) did. I reported it to the tech who came out on Saturday, since he said to note any weirdness that occurred and that was weird. So the stream ended up being split in two. Not thrilled about it, but no footage was lost. ALso near as I can tell, the Modem went offline at 340 AM, judging by the X8 gateway uptime.

Got a little writing done for the latest WWE short story commission, trying to go by all the notes given for it is turning out to be tougher than I thought it was going to be despite how easy the opening and set up was to write.

The Phillies signed Trea Turner to an 11-year contract worth $300 million, sure long term that may end up a bargain... assuming Turner ends up playing all 11 years at a high level. 

I am curious as to why Justin Verlander signed with the Mets... there is no logical sense to it, and considering the Mets let Jacob DeGrom leave, it makes even less sense.

Kirstie Alley passed away at the age of 71 yesterday, always did enjoy what she did as Saavik in Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, as it basically set in place the approach most female Vulcans have had on Star Trek in the follow decades

Solid Night of Overwatch

Good afternoon everyone,

Last night's stream of Overwatch 2 didn't have any noticeable issues, I did see that the downstream and upstream power levels were a lot more even than they were previously. So fingers crossed in that regard.

As far as playing Overwatch goes, we made a solid effort in trying to get PandaSweet within striking distance of Battle Pass level 200, and we certainly had a lot of fun. As always thank you to PandaSweet for being apart of the fun! 

I picked up three Plays of the Game, two as D.va and one as Junker Queen, so December is off to a decent start, considering I didn't get any POTGs prior to last night for the month.Other characters used were Reinhardt, Wrecking Ball, Soldier 76, Mei, Junkrat, Moira, Lucio and Brigitte. Also had a hell of a match as D.va racking up 39 Eliminations (which is reflected in the scoreboard screenshot).

Started work on another short story commission request based on fairly recent WWE stuff, the promo between Iyo Sky and Asuka certainly has me off to a good start just in terms of how idiotic I can write the dialog. 

Fred McGriff is going into the Baseball Hall of Fame... and this proves that Baseball Writers Association of America are a joke, because they should've voted him in instead of letting him wait until he would come up during the Winter Meetings

Managed to clear a ton of tracks on Hard Difficulty in Persona 4: Dancing All Night... granted using a few modifiers... still managed to get rated as brilliant on a few. I think I should also be able to acquire all the remaining costume gimmicks pretty easily once the rest of the story mode is finished.

Xfinity came out, swapped the modem, internet goes down in the middle of stream

 Good afternoon everyone,

So in the follow up to last Saturday's fiasco, Xfinity came out, checked everything... replaced the external splitter and some fittings on the coaxial cable and swapped the X8 modem I had with a new one... then at 1027 PM the modem did a full on reset out of the blue similar to what I saw happened back during the troublesome issues of July through September. Now I'll just hope that was just an instance of the modem getting an update.

The stream itself was a bounce around kind of night, we opened up with MultiVersus and managed to snag the achievement for playing 100 matches in a party, which was nice. I did happened to get stuck with people who clearly weren't in the mood to be playing with them doing less than 100 damage dealt. Why play a fighting game if you're not going to play?

We also checked out Divine Knockout, which is a 3 vs 3 platform brawler from the people who made Smite. I certainly got a good feel for it early, playing as Sol in a couple of matches. It's in its Alpha stage of development, but from what I saw, it seems like it'll be a fun game to play every now and then.

We also played Ghostbusters Spirits Unleashed, and the macro key using PC players certainly was on full display when it came to cool downs and just keeping four people cornered for extended periods of time. Did get a few solid captures.

Space Invaders: Infinity Gene was next on the hit parade, and it was during this portion of the stream when things went down as detailed at the beginning of today's blog. We made a couple attempts of getting 10 Million Points, getting to 8.5 Million. Would've been cool to accomplish that.

And lastly we played two matches in Smite, losing both, but it was in the second match where I had to report another player for AKFing. One they complained about the team selection and then left the match when we were winning, proving him. We only lost at the final moment because my team got greedy trying to push 4 vs 5 when all we had to do was defend.

I now understand that Dojima is awesome

Good afternoon everyone

Last night's stream of Persona 4: Dancing All Night saw us continuing the story, knocking out Chapters 3 and 4 of the story mode, and it's chapter 4 that has my attention because I finally understand why everyone says Dojima is awesome as it relates to the characters of Persona 4. Dude is a gruff cop who is always one step away from wanting to say he's too old for this shit.  The way he goes fully into the case and how all the pieces of the plot come together through his logical deductive reasons was quite interesting to watch. Also learned that the Fever Time Dances that are are revealed in the story mode will trigger the trophies if the other ones were already seen.

Now I did spent a good portion of the night trying to beat my own high scores... and short of doing everything perfectly, there really isn't going to be much of a chance of me getting some scores higher than what I've gotten already.  I do find it funny that there is the option to 'overwrite' high scores... I do have my pride so I'll never do that!

Work was surprisingly productive yesterday, even if I felt rather wonky during it... still can't complain too much when things go well right?

Played some Space Invader Infinity Gene follow the stream to try and grab another achievement out of it and was successful... once I read I could use the Bonus stage to do things a bit easier than playing through the normal levels.

The Delivery Moogle Quests

Good morning everyone,

So last week I discovered the Delivery Moogle Quests, in which the player gets roped into being a postman in Final Fantasy XIV, and all the quests certainly do a nice bit of world building when it comes to the Realm Reborn era of the game. However, the plot twist that the reason we were duped is because the Deputy PostMoogle crashed into a Windmill and can't do their deliveries. That was a clever way of giving a reason for it. Plus their was a nice touch of being 'promoted' to a full carrier made it kind of neat. But I still have seven more quests to do to complete it, which will results in my character having a PostMoogle hat... which is like the first decent piece of a head-wear I've seen in the game

We also did a couple of Random Roulette, and it's been quite a while since I've done a few so it was a slight struggle remembering the mechanics of the ones that did pop up. Did manage to get a perfect level 3 Limit Break off to cap the stream.

With Clippy being weird, I switch the BRB screen during streams to show the artwork I commissioned from DaemonsW0lf, and using the music from Duke Nukem II as a place filler. 

Work was rather... bleh yesterday, sure I set up possible interviews for next week, but compared to the prior couple of days, yesterday just blew.

I'll say it now, Aaron Judge isn't worth $300 Million over eight years, because a) he's already 30, and b) despite last season and his rookie season, he's a .280, 25 Hoomer, 80 RBI guy. Solid but not worth $300 Million

Started work on the first of two back to back commission requests based on the WWE, both of which have the same damn premise. Oh well. With luck I can knock out the first one in a couple of short sessions

Played some more Persona 4: Dancing All Night last night, grinding things out to unlock another trophy. Near as I can tell, some of the fever time duets have to be seen in the story mode first then performed in Free Dancing mode. Still at this point we got half the costumes for Free Dancing as well.

Since I know on Tuesday the plan is to play Episode 3 & 4 of Game of Thrones, A TellTale Series, I figure instead of revisiting Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium, why not revisit a game from the early 90s that was on PC with Commander Keen in Keen Dreams. The Definitive Edition is pretty damn cheap, and it will make for nice little laugh. Played a little last night to test it out, since it is a platform that has some wonky physics to get a feel for it... and yeah it's one of those games I'd consider to be filler to pad out a stream.

Fall Guys and Fallout 76...at least the first four letters are the same

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream opened with Fall Guys, and in the 'Krakken' event show, I came painfully close several times to winning, but had some last minute bad luck. Still it was a total blast every single time. Big thank you to PandaSweet for being apart of lot of the fun, as we also took part in Duo and Squad shows as well.

We also played Fallout 76, and as I focus on basically trying to gain one level a week, I found an area that I didn't visit before, Camden Park, which was kind of cool. We were also joined by Iceman, as we helped them advanced their progress in the Steel Dawn story arc. Will be really cool to help them in many of the heavy combat areas I had to deal with.

Work was real good yesterday, things really went my way in terms of getting things done, which felt good,

Finished writing the short story Batman commission, had to add a bit of padding to it to get it to where I like these little projects to be in terms of length. Really should get back to adding more dialog during the action portions. Next commission request I have is yet another WWE short story. Actually I have back to back WWE commissions coming up

Put in more off-stream grinding in Persona 4: Dancing All-Night... and I can say without question trying to see every fever time combination is going to be rather rough because the pacing on Hard is damn near All-Night levels off difficulty when compared to Person 3: Dancing in Moonlight and Person 5: Dancing in Starlight. Did manage to knock out another achievement in it
