Just Exploring In Fallout 76

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream of Fallout 76 was rather chill as I spent a good portion of the night roaming around and finding areas I've never been to. Some areas were rather relaxing to get to, however there were some areas that had Scorch-Beasts flying around, and the Legendary one that seemed very determined to nuke my butt. Did get one achievement by luckily joining a Daily Operation and was carried through it.

Big thanks to Iceman for being apart of the fun as well, we jumped into his Custom World and went ahead to do the Union side of the The Pitt content. Since in the custom world we're basically immortal, it was easy since we could take out time, look around and not feel completely overwhelmed by. Also learned that if two people use a foosball table, it spawns two balls.

Internet went down last night at about 1:30 AM... but it turned out Xfinity was actually being pro-active and doing maintenance.

I did start work on the commission story request, and the client wanting it to be a crossover between WWE and someone who had less than faltering things about pro wrestling and MMA did allow me to find some columns regarding that issue. Actually have the intro & set-up written.

Work did indeed completely sucked yesterday, and I had a chance of getting a complete interview done... however the dude didn't understand we were focused on things he mentioned earlier in the conversation.

More Mixed Views On The Last Of Us

Good morning everyone,

Well we continued The Last of Us last night, picking up in Bill's Town, getting into and out of the school... which meant dealing with the Bloater for the first time, that took a few attempts to deal with because the actual GAME PLAY IN THIS GAME SUCKS! We made it into Pittsburgh... and thankfully not too many Runners or Clickers to deal with, and because I got myself lost when Joel and Ellie were separated, I looked at a guide and saw that I should have had to deal with a bloater but I booked it out of that area as quickly as possible. 

Now this area, which is in the flooded section of the Hotel is accessed when the elevator Joel is standing on collapses, it's poorly lit and flashlight bugs out even when not using it regularly. And just like Friday in another water area, the lighting becomes green tinted so for me I can't see a fucking thing in situations like that. I was about to say to hell with this game right then and there.

I also didn't care for the Humvee with a turret that apparently could track my positioning. If there was away to sneak around it I didn't realize it, but I do now I called it right before the final section of the Pittsburgh arc.

Now at the start of the stream, I did compare The Last of Us to The Walking Dead Season 1 from TellTale games, and I stand by the face when I say The Walking Dead was a lot more fun than anything I'm experiencing in The Last of Us . I also said depending on how I was feeling about the game would determine if I would continue it... and we'll continue it next week on either Monday or Tuesday because I'll be damned if I'm playing this game more than once a week.

Tekken 7 Has an Impossible Achievement

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream of Tekken 7 was certainly objective focused as we went after nearly every single achievement, starting with having to face and defeat Devil Kazumi. Oddly enough the requirements to face her involved not getting a perfect round in any match.  My attention then turned to the Treasure Battles where I accomplished several achievements including getting promoted to Warrior as Kazuya. Exploiting some of the A.I.'s tendencies helped here

Now getting to fight in Special Matches in Treasure Battle involved a lot of 'luck', as every after 3-4 win either gimmick match (Turbo Speed or Double Damage) or a special boss fight appears, so it was literally just win and hope a match happens... plus hope it was someone I could beat. Thankfully the 'Special Matches' ended up being against Jin, which isn't as tough as the other possible opponents (Akuma, Devil Kazuya, Heihachi  and Devil Kazumi)

After intentionally going into Practice Mode to farm out the damage needed for one last achievement, I realized the only one left involved winning a battle in an online tournament. Problem is, good like finding 7 people to take part in a tournament, plus hoping you can beat one of them in the front round. So as it stands, I'm declaring the 'Okay! I'm Ready!' achievement as not being possible for me to obtain.  

That said, we did reach get the most out of Tekken 7. so we'll be moving on from it to focus on other things. We'll probably put another fighting game in it's place.

In the world of Fantasy Baseball, one of my teams won the 5th Place Playoff series, and the other didn't. So I have a 5th and 6th Place finish for two different teams. However in the world of Fantasy Football both of my teams lost this week.  

Got in some grinding on Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium last night using Savage Bees and the face you get 500,000 points when clearing stage 16. Managed to knock out 1,000,000 CAPSO, so only 69 Million to go.

Also played a bit of MultiVersus, mostly focused on doing daily quests to work on the battle pass grind. Thank goodness these things can be done via bot matches. 

Already know work is going to suck because of the assignment I'm going to be on. Can only hope I'll be able to switch to something else in order to get a chance to be productive.

I'm moving some items around for my streaming line up this week, The Last of Us Remastered will be featured tonight, because hey if I start at 6:30 PM Eastern and go to 10:30 / 11 PM Eastern, we'll have a tolerable time spent trying to move forward in that game. I think I'll treat it as a 'floating game', moving it around the week based on my mood.

So if I'm playing The Last of Us Remastered tonight, will that mean I'll play it also on Friday? Nope, I plan to start up Persona 5: Dancing in Starlight on Friday because at the very least trying to beat a rhythm game will be a lot more fun than dealing with the awful controls of The Last of Us.

Was that the last Sunday Overwatch stream before Overwatch 2?

Good afternoon everyone,

Last night was possible the last stream of Overwatch because the servers for it go off line this upcoming Sunday at an unspecified time in preparation for the launch of Overwatch 2 next Tuesday. I was thinking about when was the first time I saw someone playing Overwatch and I know for a fact it was sometime in 2017 when I randomly raided a stream named LordFluffyButt who used to do a lot of Overwatch streams. Of course at that time I was playing a lot of Paladins and I wouldn't start playing Overwatch until the end of that year, but starting in 2018, Overwatch has been a regular fixture on my channel.

Big thanks to PandaSweet for being apart of the fun last night. I picked up two Plays of the Game, both as D.va... who I realized was not apart of the original roster announced for Overwatch. Other characters I used were Reinhardt, Moira, Junkrat and Mei.

There was also a bit of a hilarious moment that is included in the clips, while waiting in a skirmish for a match, Panda and I ended up dancing on top of another player's head. It's the little things like that which makes video games awesome.

James Earl Jones has announced his retirement from the role of Darth Vader... and quite frankly I didn't think he was still doing voice work for the character. But the odd thing is, he signed the rights to voice away to Disney... which bothers me a bit, because it just means that instead of trying to evolves the Star Wars brand, it'll just lock things in even more for a more stagnated version of things possible by not letting certain characters change.  

Phillies blew a great opportunity to secure their play off spot by dropping their last two games against the Braves... and have all 9 of their remaining games on the road. I will not be surprised if they end up not making the Playoffs since the lats 3 games of the season will be against the Trash Can beating Astros.

MultiVersus and Arcade Games

Good afternoon everyone

Last night's stream marked the 7th consecutive stream without any internet issues, let that streak continue. And speaking of streak, we got off to a hot one in MultiVersus last night winning five matches in a row right off the bat. Of course I was lucky to get randomly teamed with some folks who clearly know how to play so as I was doing my thing of switching from character to character, I was basically being carried at times. I freely admit that. Also reached the point in the Battle Pass where I unlocked Harley Quinn's Task Force X attire, which is pretty cool looking.

Did get one achievement in MultiVersus last night, leaving only eight left to get, but they are mostly 'grind' related in terms of performing certain actions, winning and being in a 'party' a certain amount of times.

• Catch This: Get 50 Ringouts with a Projectile

Now we didn't spend the entire night on MultiVersus, we switched over to Capcom Arcade 2nd Stadium to mess around with a few different games... and to get my name on the ranked leader boards. Rather funning that my 1 hour plus time on Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo is 23rd overall... the time in 22nd place was 36 minutes. Talk about a huge gap in skill.

There was a weird game that we did play in CA2S called Pnickies which never saw a release outside of Japan back in 1994. It is a puzzle game where you have to link blobs together and they are only cleared when they have two 'star' shaped things in them. Took me a minute to realize exactly how the game worked, but I can see myself looking into trying to 'get good' at it.

Actually come to think of it... Pnickies plays a lot like Dr. Robotonik's Mean Bean Machine and Poyo Poyo.

The Last of Us Remastered... For Me It Isn't Fun

Good afternoon everyone,

So last night we played The Last of Us Remastered... and I'll be honest, I'm not too keen on the game play... in fact the game play itself just sucks, the combat is mediocre at best, the puzzles I've seen are generic... and everything just seems to be just 'breaks between cut scenes'.  In fact, the more I think about it, the the actual 'game' part of The Last of Us serves more as a 'break' between the gorgeous cut scenes and dialog. The controls are cumbersome, with even the most mundane things needing button presses which makes stuff like getting into and out of cover a chore.

I'll straight up say, if I wasn't playing this on its easiest setting I would have switched games probably in the trenches when escaping the city.

Now how far did we get, well we found Bill in Bill's town and wrapped up just before leaving 'the bar' which had a lot of supplies. So I saw basically all the set up, saw Joel and Tess's relationship, and had my first encounters with the Clickers and Runners. 

The game does sound great, but visually... depending on the lighting, things either look awesome, or they look off to where I have a hard time seeing. The swimming section I saw when going into an area that has spores really was tough to see things.

Something that really bugs me is the lack of trophies to give an idea of progress, I thought that it was something done with the Remastered version, but the PS3 version was also lacking in actual story related achievements.

So against my better judgement we will play The Last of Us Remastered again next week, maybe things will improve as we get into the meat and potatoes of the game.

Yesterday I realized I had clips from 2017, 2018 and 2019 over on my personal Facebook page, so I downloaded them with the idea of putting compilations for those three years. Problem is, Facebook compressed the hell out of those clips, and they were like at 480p and below because of the hardware I was using at the time.

Also, the first half of work sucked.. but thankfully things picked up when we had an assignment switch. So it was a 50% good shift.

So how does a Moogle slay a dragon?

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream of Final Fantasy XIV was a nice easy night as I covered all the side quests in the remaining areas that were apart of the Heavansward expansion, so we ended up spending a few hours just going all over the place fetching items, defeating enemies and so fourth.

Now a big part of the night was once we started covering the side quests in Sea of Clouds where every quest involved Moogles giving the quests. There was one major reoccuring one involving a Moogle named Mogleo who wanted to join the Pomguard... and by the end of that little story I was wondering how a Moogle could slay a dragon let alone two! 

Now of course I'll continue these side quests journeys as the next areas will be all related to the Stormblood expansion. Should have an easy time with that as all the quests should be between levels 60 and 70.

Work was solid yesterday, no complaints about the assignment that I was on... well maybe one when it comes to trying to complete interviews that were already started by other people. That is never easy to do since apparently one method of doing so is no longer being utilized.Unfortunately, I already know the assignment I'm on for today is going to cause the day to fucking drag

Before 1 AM last night i had two short story commission requests in the queue, and managed to knock out the first one, which was the WWE one I mentioned yesterday. The second one involves baseball, or at least some of the elements related to that game.

What kind of car runs on leaves? An autumn-mobile!

I tried to organize a professional Hide-and-Seek tournament, but it was a complete failure. Good players are hard to find.

There was an OBS update yesterday... I look forward to seeing what it breaks this time. 

Speaking of updates there was a System update for the PlayStation 4 which we installed last night when installing the game we're going to feature next.
