The weekend is here!

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream of Final Fantasy XIV was a lot of fun, as we did a couple of big Alliance Raids, did some leveling on Lancer, Fishing, Botany and Blue Mage, and I figure I want to try and gain one level with each one of these per week for long term streaming content. After all, there are stories all over the place in Final Fantasy XIV, and doing them all takes time. Also played a lot of PVP, winning some matches and losing quite a few, but we had fun.

There maybe a possibility of joining x9abenonymous9x and FNDnateSavage for their run of Gears of War 3, depending on Iceman's schedule. So there might be some shuffling around of things.

Speaking of shuffling around of some things, next week we will include Star Trek Online because I believe the new content drops on May 10th. So that would interesting. We'll probably pair it up with Overwatch 2, since STO doesn't exactly has much interesting non-main story content to carry a full stream..

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout featured Uppercut Combo #1, Intermediate Combo #2, Body Straight Combo and Weaving Combo #2. Uppercut Combo #1 was set to No Mercy difficulty, and we set a new personal best for it.

My Fantasy Baseball team is batting a combined .190 this week... talk about a crappy week for me as far as baseball goes. 

Speaking of baseball, it was great during last night's stream when LvStkr was giving me live updates on how the Phillies blew a 7-1 lead, The Mets were 0 for 330 when it came to being down by 6 runs heading into the 9th inning... the Phillies had like a 99.999995% chance of winning.. and blew it! I blame the front office for not upgrading the pitching staff, thinking the same crap from the fast few seasons will get it done in 2022.

We got one step closer to 100% completion of all achievements for Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle, as I put in a hellish grind on Murder Marathon to reach rank 100 blood lust. The leaves killing a body count of 400 in the regular levels (already at 372), plus finishing every puzzle in the final two levels (Knigthmare and Jurassic Jason), then doing the Daily Death every day for the next seven days.

Finding Enemies Everywhere In Fallout 76!

Good morning everyone,

Last night's stream of Fallout 76 saw me roaming around in the first half doing a few quests before Iceman joined in as we worked on the Sheepsquatch quest line that we started a few weeks ago. One thing that happened during my roaming is that I was running into some big time, tough to take down enemies, including aliens... so I got downed quite a bit, and certainly end up running into issues when it came to ammo at various points, Also it appears that Fallout 76 has a hell of a difficulty spike to where one has to really focus on one type of weapon to even have a chance of taking down enemies, at least if the reddit thread I saw trying to figure out why I was being shredded last night was any indication.

Now we did come across a mine that rather twisty and turny in its layout that lead resulting in us going around in a circle, but it was worth it as we found the item we needed to reach an area that had a great view (as seen in the screenshot above). Fallout 76 can be a really gorgeous game at times.  I do kind of have a good idea of what I want to accomplished the next time I play this on next Wednesday' stream when it comes to various quests.

Have I mentioned I am not at all keen on the assignment my day-gig has me on? It really is just 'we need to stick anyone one it' type of work, which is just bleh... I know I should not complain because it's work, but c'mon, if an assignment sucks one has to point it out right?

Found some VHS tapes yesterday, You Only Live Twice, For Your Eyes Only and Robocop, and of those three movies, the only one I don't have on DVD is Robocop... go figure!  

Did more Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle off-stream last night, and the grind for the Mass Murdered achievement was a lot easier than one would consider, we're only up to rank 67 on the blood lust. From what I can tell, getting a streak of 15 in the Murder Marathon gains a level on the blood lust side. At this point there are 5 achievements left, two involve completing all the puzzles in two specific themed groupings.

All that talk about AEW's video game, and it turns out that it's over budget, it's having features being cut out and that Kenny Omega is being a total cuck about not being taken seriously by the developers (Yuke's) because he has ZERO EXPERIENCE MAKING Video Games. Folks, I'm calling it now, AEW's video game is going to be a dumpster fire.

Oh so that's the new Battle Boost gimmick In Chrono Cross

Good morning everyone,

Well last night's stream certainly saw me start off pissed off with everything involving the Supreme Court of the United States and the stupidity of overturning Roe V. Wade. As I said before, conservatives want to 'save lives' only to use those lives for their own benefits eighteen years later. The entire rant will be included in the archive VOD on my YouTube channel when it appears on Monday.

Anyway, as far the game play of Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers edition, I realized that pressing R3 enables a battle boost to give full use of the elemental grid at the start and apparently provides enemies with a high chance of missing not just physical attacks, but elemental attacks as well. This became really useful in terms of dealing some bad match ups (the Giant Starky fight, where I took Harle and Zappa) as well as dealing with the Grand Slam portion aboard the S.S. Zelbess. Funny enough we ignored checking out the Grand Slam in last year's play through of the original version of Chrono Cross, so it was nice to recruit Janice. We also ended the stream at the perfect spot, where we reached the entrance to the Dead Sea, but realize we need to go to the Isle of the Damned first, which means Monday's stream will have a lot of action in it.  

On a side note it does appear some of the major slow down in frames during battle occurs on if the enemy is huge or overly complex.This is really down to bad Quality Assurance testing done by the development team of this version of the game.

For the raid we dropped in on Redneck_23 while they were playing American Truck Simulator! 

Work yesterday ended on a positive note continue the struggles to get anything done with the current assignment. On a side note, people who answer phones for businesses need to stop assuming someone is not going to do something on their behalf.

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout featured Body Uppercut Combo, Body Hook Combo and Triple Combo #1. Never seen that combination of exercises put together before, as they were all 8 minute routines, making this one of the shortest daily sessions ever that wasn't set for 20 minutes.

More progress towards 100% completion of Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle was done following last night's stream. Got to appreciate those YouTube channels that are still posting solutions for the Daily Death for this game.

My fantasy baseball team was let down by the Yankees not having LeMahieu in the starting line up against the Blue Jays yesterday. That was just rude! Also the rain out of the Guardians-Padres and the Tigers-Pirates games took Straw and Hosmer out of faction for me as well And of course the Phillies lost to the Rangers last night as well...  ugh.

Twitch added more options for the Predictions feature... I really do have have to come up with some content to take advantage of it.

Where we are in Chrono Cross; the stupidity of Conservatives who are Pro-Life

Good morning everyone,

We had a great night of Chrono Cross: The Radical Dreamers edition, as we covered everything from Water Dragon Isle up through recruiting Radius. I did try to strategize a lot to preplanning for all the boss encounters by stocking up on various elements since we had to go through a dozen boss battles, not to mention various puzzles at some points. The real disappointment of not having more achievements based on dealing with bosses is real downer, as it puts a stronger emphasis on doing multiple New Game Plus runs. We also experienced major instances of frame rate dropping within the game during some sequences and battles. I do want to put some serious work in using Sprigg in battles to try and build up enough of a roster to try and recruit Janice, but this does put me at a heavy disadvantage. Of course what would make that easier is finding the Forget-Me-Not-Pot in Chronopolis, but that is much later in the game.

Also discovered another glitched achievement in this game upon reaching the labyrinth in Fort Dragonia... so this will certainly warrant another play-through to deal with the glitches and bugs on the achievement front... to go along with getting 99 stars and going for all the alternate endings.. Also I see a lot of notes about the Battle Boost system... which is a bit odd to me, but I will probably make use of it when facing the end boss of the game. On a side note, I looked up in my journal that it took 10 streams to finish Chrono Cross last year, tonight will be night four for the Radical Dreamers edition so we're about on the same pace.

Over 20 years ago, George Carlin did a stand up special that basically formed my view on abortion, you know the one, the one that points out the obvious that most of the people who are against abortion are people one would not want to fuck in the first place, that these people are anti-woman, wanting live babies to raise them to be dead soldiers, that these people do not want to help in anyway with the raising of these kids, and I can give a big example of that, because my younger brother went to the Head Start program, which was constantly under threat by conservatives in the early 90s to have its funding cut.

The argument of life beginning at fertilization, and that the unborn is more valuable than the woman whose body is at risk has always bothered me. If a woman wants to have a baby, that their choice. If they want to have an abortion, that is their choice. It is that simple, And for those who want to bring up the 10th Amendment, let's remember that most of the states below Maryland were fighting in favor of slavery, which is their attitude towards women. Oh they can't have slaves, so instead they want broodmares... in short, forcing women into slavery to birth children that the conservatives refuse to assist with!

And let's not forget how so many 'Anti-Vaccine' morons, mostly men, are saying that 'My Body My Choice' only apply to them, and how hard they fight for the 2nd Amendment, even though guns have resulted in an every increasing year after year death toll, particularly in and around schools.

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily work out featured Beginner Combo #1, Front-Back Step Combo and Uppercut Combo #2. This was also the 666th consecutive day of working out I've done since starting with the original Fitness Boxing in 2020. Granted its day 508 of just Fitness Boxing 2, but we'll get to do the 666 joke again in 158 days, which is like October 8 of this year. With Bernardo's Contender unlocked, we'll now switch to Laura as the trainer for the next several weeks.

Knocked out a commissioned fan fic based around the WWE's Mixed Match challenge yesterday, and it's always nice to get paid promptly for things like that. I really should set rates for things like that though.

Managed to knock out a bunch more achievements in Friday the 13th Killer Puzzle following last night's stream. The game does have 55 achievements and I already banged out 45 of them, so I guess we'll go for the full completion at this point. Granted one of the remaining ones requires a lot of luck in getting (a golden toilet seat), and another requires playing the 'Daily Death' 13th times. Getting those consecutive kills in Murder Marathon was rather mind numbing, but hey as of right now I just have to grind out the rest to get to 1000 kills.

The 76ers loss the Heat last night really shows the huge difference Joel Embiid makes when he's not available. Their failure to beat the Raptors in Game 4 and again in Game 5 is certainly going to be the defying games of post-season, no question about it.

A Wild Night Of Overwatch, Square-Enix's major shake up.

Good afternoon everyone,

Last night's stream of Overwatch was pretty damn epic, as I picked up four plays of the game as D.va. We had a lot of fun as we had what is turning into our usual crew with PandaSweet, BangBangBang and BloodyClown. Characters that I used were the usual suspects of D.va, Reinhardt, Moira along with some use of Lucio, Mei, Bastion and Ashe. There was a bit of weirdness as I got knocked out of voice chat in game forcing a restart to get it working, then Panda had trouble with none of the alerts for enemy ultimate attacks were going off. That particular bug goes back to at least 2017 as I did do a Google search on stream, and saw so many complaints about it.

For the raid we dropped in on Joliet4 who was doing a music stream featuring some of their original songs like Heartbreaker! You can find Joliet4 over at twitch.tv/joliet4 and listen to some of their songs over on Spoitfy by clicking HERE. 

Square-Enix sold three of its major studios and several of its properties to a company in Sweeden called Embracer Group. Perhaps the biggest shocker was the selling of Crystral Dynamics which basically brought new life into Tomb Raider franchise with the Survivor trilogy! Also on the sale block were Eidos-Montreal and Square Montreal, along with the rights to Deus Ex, Just Cause and several more games, It appears that Square-Enix wants to focus on things they can control in Japan. Now Embracer Group is also the company that acquired Gearbox as well as Cryptic Studios last December, so it really appears they want to make themselves the big publisher and developer of major titles and franchises. Really hope they know what they are doing. 

But the real question is why did Square-Enix do this? It's not shock to me that their attitude to the sales figures for things like the Shadow of the Tomb Raider and Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy was disappointed... not to mention the fiasco of Marvel's Avengers. From what I read, it appears Square-Enix looking to focus more on what they can control and oversee more directly in Japan... which makes me think that Deck Nine along with the Life is Strange franchise is probably going to be on the sales block sooner rather than later.

There is also the question on if Square-Enix is going to allow itself to be bought by Sony, and if so, making themselves 'cheaper' to purchase at a high price. That's been heavily rumored for a while now, but it makes the sale of three major studios look even odder... unless Sony gave a clear indication those three studios were going to be shut down and the games associated with them would be left to rot.

I'm going to make a prediction, Shotzi Blackheart will be released by the WWE within the next 12 months.

Knocked off a few more achievements in Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle following the stream, figuring some of these out really are a bit tough, and the urge not to just look at the solution is just hard to resist. Also trying to go for the Marathon streaks are tougher than I remember, my current best is 19.

A Random Saturday Night And The Real Reason Batwoman Has Been Cancelled

Good afternoon everyone,

Last night's stream sure had a rough start as we did have some sort of connection issue from Xfinity that resulted in the stream restarting. So we lost about maybe 20-30 minutes of footage. Still we did lead off with Overwatch 2 as I was going through every character in the training mode first to show off a few things. We did play a few matches, but the long queue times for Tank and Damage roles were rather silly. But something that I was repeatedly saying, when it comes to people not working on the objectives and damage role player not doing their job of taking out things like turrents will easily cost a team a victory. Characters Iused were Moira, D.va, Symmetra and Reinhardt.

Now yesterday I said I was considering maybe featuring Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle on stream, and we did, covering the 26 puzzles, with only the use of looking at the solution being needed once. The death animations are so over the top that one has to laugh at how some of the make Jason's weapons look like they are being used the wrong way. Picked up four achievements, which was nice. Also went back in off-stream to get the Daily Death puzzle done to start progress to achievements associated with that and picked up three more achievements.

We closed out the stream with SMITE playing three arena matches and picking up one win, and I actually played two matches as Yu Huang, who is the newest god added to the game. Funny enough I only played him because one of the rewards involved playing as a Chinese god, and I found his skills fairly easy to learn. Won't say I would main him, but I certainly would consider using him whenever I play and I want to play as a mage. Since I got one of his achievements on stream, but went back to get the other off-stream.

We didn't do a raid last night, instead we hosted PrincessPashley as they were out doing some live karaoke for their stream over at twitch.tv/princesspashley!

It was announced that Batwoman series will be cancelled. Now as someone who was one heavily invested in watching the various super hero shows on the CW, I have to say that the decision does not shock me at all for a few reason. One, Batwoma has a history of problems starting with it first being on Sunday nights, the second being Ruby Rose's injury and departure, and the third being unable to grow its audience. Unlike DC's Legends of Tomorrow, which never had a large audience, Batwoman lost viewers consistently, a problem that existed in its first season, The decision to move Supergirl to Sunday nights to prop up Batwoman ended up hurting the Girl of Steel who lost HALF of its audience in the move to boost a show that was struggling from jump street. Granted no one at the CW was going to let Batwoman fail for many reasons even thought there was just cause for it to be cancelled two years ago.

So what is the real reason you ask? Simple its is because of the recent merger between Warner Media and Discovery, who no longer wants to be apart of the ownership of The CW, and with them wanting out, Paramount (the reemerged Viacom and CBS) don't want it either, so to sell the network easier, that means a lot of show are going to be ending because whatever media conglomerate purchases the remains of the CW are going to want to put their own shows on it that fit their idea of what the network should be. The purge is already happening, as DC's Legends of Tomorrow as cancelled yesterday, don't be surprised to see shows like Riverdale, The Flash, and Superman & Lois being cancelled within the next 12 months.

I am no fan of Stephen A. Smith, because he's the worst sports journalist to ever work in the Philadelphia area, but I do have to applaud him for how he buried Kyrie Irving of the Brooklyn Nets for his career of selfish acts. 

The New York Times reported that Tucker Carlson is the most racist prime time host in history and that he along with his producers at Fox News go out of their way to make his show appeal to the immoral white nationalists that should be rounded up and put in prison... or shipped off to Russia.  

The career of Trevor Bauer is basically over as he's been suspended for two years by Major League baseball as more of his past actions have come to light.

Covering Most Of September In Persona 5 Royal

Good afternoon everyone,

Well last night's stream of Persona 5 Royal did not last 10 hours, as we covered most of September (well from September 2 through the 17), which meant we saw the Hawaii trip and Morgana's crises of confidence as well as seeing how Akechi 'sees' how the Phantom Thieves enter the cognitive world. We also were introduced to Haru, who already had her Persona unlocked, and also the issues with her father and fiance. I suspect next week's stream will feature the next Palace, since its already easily accessible, so hopefully it'll be as straight forward as Futaba's was.

We did take two trips into Mementos, because I really screwed things up in terms of seeing what should be done where, but we did make progress on several fronts with a few of the confidants, dealing with Tae and Mifune's battle quests. I have to remember to spend an in-game afternoon at the flower shop the clue for a Mementos quest, plus hang out with progress several other confidants. Oh and for those wondering, the date scene in Hawaii was with Makoto, because it made the most sense, So I believe we might go that route for the romance option, Haru is just introduced to late in the game for me to consider her at this point based on what I know about the game's timeline and how I've screwed up pacing out a lot of the other confidants.

I saw the opening title preview for Star Trek: Strange New Worlds, and it looks good, at least the Enterprise looks like the Enterprise from the original series and not that bastardized piece of CGI trash from the JJ-Trek films.

Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout featured.Hip Shape Focus Combo, Difficulty Challenge Combo #3 and Difficulty Challenge Combo #2.Kind of a different line up, but issues I had to deal with earlier in the week forced me to do a two-exercises daily routine which probably threw everything off.

While we continued the daily streak, one could see that as work picked back up for me, that cut into the amount of time I was putting into exercising each morning.

The WWE fired another batch of wrestlers yesterday, the biggest surprise being Dakota Kai... how do they not have anything for someone who proved themselves to be extremely versatile is beyond stupid. 

Joel Embiid was injured during the 76ers game six win over the Raptors and its out indefinitely. That basically makes it impossible for the 76ers to contend with the Heat in the next round of the playoffs which starts on Monday.

Messed around with the Xbox One version of Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle following the stream last night. I have played the Steam version previously, in fact I dedicated some major stream time to that version. We might feature it on stream just for the hell of it at some point.
