Good morning everyone,
Last night we started up The Walking Dead: The Telltale Definitive Series with season one of The Walking Dead, playing through episodes 1 and 2.
For those who don't know, The Walking Dead games published and developed by Telltale Games were based on a hybrid version of the comic book series and the television show. You play as Lee, a man on his way to prison when the police car he's in gets into a wreck, and he has is first encounter with a zombie, or as the game refers to them 'Walkers'. It isn't long until you find Clementine, a sweet first grader who has been on her own for a couple of days already, and together you meet and encounter various people who are trying to survive in a world gone mad.
Episode 1 does a really good job of setting the tone foe the game in terms of decisions that can be made, so you can have Lee be a 'do whatever it takes to survive' kind of guy, or more of a 'we'll do the best we can."There are choices on what to say, who to save, if you kill someone or not... and lot of it has a direct influence on Clementine who becomes is a huge focus for the majority of the series since she becomes the lead character in Season Two and in the Final Season.
For this play through I'm trying to have Lee bee the good role model, or a man who isn't going to let the world dragon him down, so things like walking away from a fight, trying to be diplomatic and staying calm are all key. Not to mention I'd want the ending of episode 5 to mean a lot more as well.
Big Thanks to PandaSweet I got a good idea of what was advertised during the various ad breaks that took place during the stream... which includes NFL On FOX, Halloween Kills, Taco Bell, Starkist Tuna. World War Z, EVE Online, US Department of Veterans, Dunkin Donuts and Get Vaccinated Together.
Following the stream we sent the fun over to LifeWithStan at twitch.tv/lifewithstan as he was looking to finish Cyberpunk 2077!

Off stream I finally checked out Final Fantasy XIV for myself, and thanks to Kalenal (who you can see streaming over on twitch.tv/kalenal) I was able to get off to a good start, picking to start as an archer, and managed to get my level up to 15 just by doing whatever quests I came across. Not sure when we'll debut FF14 on stream, but it will be with a character already in progress. Keybinding proved to be a bit of a pain in the butt, so that I can use the keypad instead of the number keys, and I can tell that finding main story quests may be a little problematic if I go off wandering or get distracted by side quests.
Still I am enjoying what I've done so far, and if I can stay ahead of the curve when it comes to level scaling of enemies I should be able to tackle almost any major foes I come across. Hell I've only been knocked out once so far, and that was because I took a wrong turbn.
You know what's funny, I wrote this blog twice, first time it didn't save so I had to redo it and a lot of stuff got cunt because I couldn't remember... let me tell ya it was tough trying to remember the phrasing I used for talking about last night's broadcast.
Here's a list of 10 jokes I found in m Facebook archive...

“Irrelevant.” - What does a subatomic duck say? Quark!
- A neutron walks into a bar and asks how much for a beer. Bartender replies “For you, no charge”.
- Two atoms are walking along. One of them says:
"Oh, no, I think I lost an electron.”
“Are you sure?”
“Yes, I’m positive.” - An optimist sees a glass half full. A pessimist sees it half empty. An engineer sees it twice as large as it needs to be.
Today's Fitness Boxing 2 daily workout lasted 31 minutes with the following exercises: Biceps Shape Focus Combo, Triple Combo #2 & Intermediate Combo #1. We finally got a perfect score on Triple Combo #2. The total estimated calorie burn for today was 514 kcal.
For tonight's stream we shall continue The Walking Dead Season 1 with episode 3 and 4 to keep the adventures of Lee and Clementine going.
So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden!
