Good morning everyone,
Last night's stream saw us start up Season Two of The Walking Dead, which features Clementine in the starring role.
Episode 1 sees Clementine paired with Omid and Christa to start things off, but Omid is killed and Clem gets separated from Christa in the middle of the woods 16 months later. So time line wise, the events take place when Clem is 11 years old. She gets bit by a dog, and comes across a new group of people who are hiding from a dude name Carver, who is running an encampment with a survival of the fittest mentality. Throughout Episode 1 Clem has to stitch up her own arm, fight a few zombies and make a split decision choice of who to save at the end, Pete, who was kind of cool to her, or Nick, who nearly shot her.. I went with saving Pete because it means knowing his fate in episode 2 since Nick obviously was going to live.
Episode 2 sees Carver show up, and Clementine gets an opportunity to show just how much of a bad ass she is by not backing down when he is checking out the cabin the group is staying in. Everyone leaves and the big point of Episode 2 is that Clementine is reunited with Kenny who was assumed to have died in episode 5 of Season 1. Since we did everything as Lee to have Kenny be less of a jerk, the reunion between Kenny and Clem means a hell of a lot more. A bunch of characters get killed in this episode, and the tie in to 400 Days kicks in when Bonnie shows up... with Carver who captures everyone.
Episode 3 sees Clementine, Kenny and the group as prisoners in Carver's converted Hardware Superstore Fortress. Depending on choices made in 400 days, Vince, Russel, Wyatt, Shel and Becca will appear during this episode... but based on decisions I made, only Russel, Wyatt and Shel pop up. The whole point of episode 3 is escape, which leads to a few things happening, the introduction of Jane and Kenny being beaten to a pulp by Carver. Perhaps the most memorable moment of this episode is the choice of Clem watching Kenny get revenge on Carver... and considering the shit Clementine has gone through it makes sense for her to watch. The episode ends with a choice of cutting the arm off Kenny's girlfriend or stopping the zombie biting her to set up Episode 4... for the purpose of this play through, we went with Clem killing the zombie.
The funny thing about Season 2 of the Walking Dead is the gag that you get to turn Clementine into a little sociopath, but she doesn't directly kill any one living, just a bunch of zombies. Sure the death glare she gives some folks and her expression when Kenny is bashing Carver's skull in speaks volumes, but it really isn't until New Frontier (AKA Season 3) and the Final Season (aka Season 4) when she is m

Made a few tweaks to how the stream looks, brought back the Latest Follower / Host / Raid / Donation / Bits / Sub gimmick which will appear at the top of the stream.
More Off-Stream Final Fantasy XIV stuff, figured out how to summon my Chocobo and how to get his help in combat, which will probably help when leveling up secondary skills by roaming around getting into battles and stuff. Also Started the level 21-30 Main Story Quests, with Never Forget being the next one on the list of things to do.
People are all hyped or pissed the 'Superman' is bisexual... but the here's the thing... it's Not Clark Kent, it's a secondary character called Joe Kent that debuted in 2015 as the sun of Clark and Lois Lane. So everyone can relax. Since the character hasn't been around for six-years, writers actually have a lot of fluidity in determining traits that would be associated with him with the hopefully lead to the character gaining enough of a following. So again: It's Not Clark Kent... It's His KID!
Personally, I believe this is being handled a hell of a lot better than the Tim Drake fiasco from earlier in the year since Drake has been firmly established for 30 years. It's always better to make changes with characters who has only been around a short time, other wise you risk pissing people off. Sure the more 'extreme' minded people say make these changes with the established characters, but you have to remember how far back these characters go.... people have an association with Clark Kent's Superman.... but those same people don't give a shit about what creative direction his son Joe goes in. So it's a win win
