Social Links In Persona 3 Portable

Good morning everyone,

Work yesterday was alright as I finally had a complete interview for the client that is giving us work, granted I think I screwed up slightly, but getting a complete interview was a nice boost to my confidence.

Last night's stream of Persona 3 Portable saw us pick up in the aftermath of Shinjiro's death and Ken basically making his vow to not let what happen be in vain, which evolved his Persona, in addition we saw Fuuka's Persona evolve as well because someone moved away. This is kind of a weird way to show the companions evolving their powers having nothing to do with being directly linked to the main character, which gives things a rougher feel in comparison to how in Persona 5 Royal everything felt as if these payoffs were more important to the character development.

Still we covered basically all of October getting within striking distance of the next Full Moon, at the same time we made great progress on several of the Social Links, completing Yukari's while also nearly finished with Fuuka's. Some of the stories with the secondary characters have been really hit or miss, such as I wouldn't want to deal with Kenji's story every again, while Mamoru's story hits a bit close to home with details that are revealed. Then there is the weirdness of Tanaka's and Nozomi's stories which has me going what the hell!

We did pick up two achievements, Going Nova was basically the result of boosting one Persona's strength to max and getting to do an all out attack, and I'm rather pleased with getting over 50% of the Compendium done, with all the fusing I've spent time doing. At this pint I have 66% of the the game's achievements. Persona 3 Portable shall return on Monday.

Persona 3 Portable Achievements

  • Going Nova: Deal over 999 damage in 1 attack.
  • Moderate Bookkeeper: Register over 50% of the Compendium.

For the raid we dropped in on sweetlindir who was playing Paladins over at twitch.tv/sweetlindir

Also, Happy Birthday to long time friend of the channel PandaSweet!

Nearly finished the Mass Effect short story commission, I would have had it done yesterday but I took a quick trip to a store to grab a couple of things. This story will be finished for today. The WWE short story commission that I picked up a few weeks ago has been shelved because I was not thrilled with the added changes the client wanted. They know what I'm comfortable writing and they pushed for things I wasn't going to budge on.

Tonight's stream will be starting at 9:30 PM Eastern due to work, so that means no Fall Guys, so we'll be jumping into Resident Evil 6 with Iceman

So on that note we'll see you tonight over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

So Shinjiro Is Basically Apart of SEES for A Cup Of Coffee?

Good morning everyone,

Yesterday was interesting as I had an issue with Amazon, as I caught the delivery person throwing my package over the fence while claiming they put it on my porch by my front door. They said they couldn't open the gate, which was a lie, because I easily opened it. So I called up Amazon directly, used the fact that Amazon delivery personnel take photos to document where they placed packages and thus was able to prove where this package was thrown in relation to where another delivery was placed just four days prior. Got a $10 credit for my trouble, but yeah I was annoyed.

Last night's stream of Persona 3 Portable saw us reach October 4th, and in the context of the came it was the rather abrupt departure of Shinjiro after it was revealed he accidentally killed Ken's mother two years prior to the events of the game. Always thought Ken was weird based on what I saw of him in Persona 3 Dancing in Moonlight and Persona 4 Arena Ultimax, but now having the full context, it makes sense. This entire story beat does lead to Shinjiro being killed and Akihiko finding his conviction to evolve his own Persona into Caesar.

Still, since I was playing P3P, a lot of the attachment I probably should feel when it comes to Shinjiro just isn't there, not to mention I haven't seen any of the cut scenes from the original P3 or event P3:FES, so to me, Shinjiro being killed off comes across as a 'oh that happened'.

I have managed to get Makoto up to level 50 and with a number of social links done, I can fuse various combinations of Persona to where I can have a fairly over powered line up. And since this play through is blatantly a guided play through, I was able to go in the Fortune & Strength boss fight with a good plan. Granted the gimmick of the wheel of fortune gave be flashbacks to the Shadow Sae fight from Persona 5 Royal.

Also learned from a viewer that Vincent from 'Catherine' makes a bit of a cameo in Persona 3 Portable as he's hanging out in Club Escapade. Since both games are made by Atlas, it's a cool little easter egg, granted Catherine came out years after the original release of Persona 3.

The plan  for tonight's stream is to continue Persona 3 Portable and see more of the fallout regarding  Ken as well as make out way towards the next big trip into Tartarus, as well as catching up on Social Links I fell behind on. I know I have all the ones that can only be done at night done, the rest are all school related.

Of course I don't know if we're starting at 6:30 PM Eastern or 9:30 PM Eastern due to work. As soon as I know I'll let you all know!

Persona 3 Portable Achievements

  • Flawless: Max out all social qualities.
  • Special Fusion Expert: Use 4 or more Personas in a special fusion.
  • No More Bets: Defeat the Fortune and Strength.

For the raid we dropped in on PowerThumbz who was playing Outbreak over at twitch.tv/powerthumbz

I got some writing done on the Mass Effect short story commission, putting in some meta jokes regarding contents I've recently played in the original Mass Effect that is not in the Legendary Edition, as well as Ashley's drastic difference in appearance.

Oh and if you're wondering what was in package, it was several Persona 5 manga, I'm missing volume 4 in the series... hopefully I can track that down.

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

General Notes

 Good morning everyone,

Yesterday was kind of a lost day due to me waking up early to trim some branches and do some yard work of sorts. Combine that with the after effect of the unplanned marathon stream on Saturday and I was completely out of it all afternoon. I should look into finding a cheap service to get various yard stuff done in one shot, because it is a lot for me to manage.

Last night's stream of Overwatch saw wins and losses. We had a lot of fun though, big thanks to PandaSweet for being apart of the action. Picked up two plays of the game as Orissa and Reinhardt, with other characters used being Ana, D.va, Junker Queen, Bastion, Tracer, Tobjourn and others.

We also messed around with a few other modes besides Quick Play

For the raid we sent the action over to misscammi316 who was also playing Overwatch over at twitch.tv/misscammi316

The plan for today's stream is to continue Persona 3 Portable, depending on my mood and how long it takes to recharge my Xbox Series controller, we may start early to try and get a lot done.

Speaking of plans, since we knocked out Star Trek Resurgence in one night, that frees up this Saturday night to dedicate to Street Fighter 6 on the XBox side of things.

Just realize, I've not played Mortal Kombat X on the console side... I've done MK 9 and MK 11... but not X... hmm...

Since we're at the end of May, the Phillies are certainly looking like they are done for the year, despite being in striking distance of the Braves, but they have too many holes in the line up and pitching staff.

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

Star Trek Resurgence Is A Great Star Trek game with some issues

Good morning,

At the time I'm writing this I have just finished my stream at 4:30 AM in the morning Eastern time following an epic night of playing Star Trek: Resurgence. Now normally I would recap to you my day, thoughts and feelings, but I'm just warped (no pun intended) after that entire surprising, not planned marathon. I love the fact this is a direct sequel to the The Next Generation episode 'The Last Outpost', certainly diving into a lot of the lore I remembered was great, and certainly showed my Star Trek geeky nature!

Part of what makes Star Trek: Resurgence work is that everything just flows naturally from one moment to the next, as it drives you to want to see the next part. This is an extremely well-written game, since the developers were part of the original TellTale Games, so they know what players want from this type of experience, where choices matter in trying to come to various outcomes. This does have a slight negative effect in trying to determine where to stop, or what would've made for a great cliff hanger point... hence why we went for 10 and a half hours. Keep in mind my average stream runs 4 to 5 hours.

Speaking of negative, the TellTale style of controls and quick time events, plus some of the puzzles certainly left a lot to be desired, there were quite a few instances where I felt button presses weren't being recognized or the analog sticks weren't responding. More than once I had doubts about actually doing what was indicated being a success. There were also a number of audio issues, screen flickers, and probably most annoyingly the inability to view percentage of choices to compare among other players.

See the only way to view the results of your choices is to sign up for the Star Trek Resurgence website, which is a blatant ploy by the Developers / Publisher to create a mailing list. I wouldn't be so annoyed about this is signing up via the code provided in the game actually worked. Actually had to do the whole QR scan gimmick.

Still the positives out weight the negatives, and I look forward to doing another play through down the road, because a second and probably a third trip through the game is needed to see the outcome of all choices.

Star Trek: Resurgence Achievements

  • Shields Up: Chose Bedrosian’s plan
  • Defiant: Disobeyed Solano and reversed hull polarity
  • I Got This: Carter went into the hatch last and was injured
  • Lower Decks Dalliance: Chose to date Miranda
  • Hotari Pride: Sided with the Hotari at the Negotiation
  • Jailor: Sent Miranda to the Brig
  • Parting Shot: Shot at Miranda as she escaped
  • Truth Bomb: Told Riker about the shield codes
  • Effective: Let Arminta break Kapoor’s arm
  • The Many: Transported the seeds onboard
  • Man of Science: Chose Westbrook as your First Officer
  • You Killed Her: Edsilar pulled the trigger
  • Don't Forget Me: Carter was bioformed
  • ACT 4: Resolute: Completed Act 4

We didn't do a raid at the end of the stream, and the plan for tonight is to play Overwatch, that will be about at 7 PM Eastern.

So on that note have a great day and we'll see you later!

Late work, late stream...

Good morning everyone,

We had work in the evening last night, and it didn't go as well as I would hope, as two people just hung up on me in the middle of interviews in which they would've been paid! I mean seriously, who does that?

Anyway, last night's stream featured Kena: Bridge of Spirits as we finished the first major story arc of the game, and found a bunch of the little dudes (the Rot), in fact we found 51 one of them, plus hats they can wear, cowboy hats, cat hats, dinosaur hats! Probably my favorite part of the game. Now of course that comes with the fact that getting loss is practically a reoccurring thing in terms of trying to figure out how to get from point A to point B, and it doesn't help I keep getting side tracked when I see different stuff pop up.

Now, I want to know who the hell exactly finished this game in 10 hours, because I'm already eight hours in and no where near done finishing the game. In fact by my current estimation it will take about four more weeks at most to finish it.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits (PS4) Trophies

  • Between the Eyes: Destroyed a Shield Sticks without breaking his shield.
  • Taro's Regret: Found Taro's Lantern Relic.
  • Spirit Guide: Defeated Corrupted Taro.
  • Bow Master: Hit 3 enemies with a single Multi-shot.
  • Harness Your Power: Learned the Bomb Ability.
  • Weigh Them Down: Destroyed a Moth enemy with a Bomb.
  • The Open Range: Discovered the Farm.
  • Adira's Love: Found Adira's Ox Relic.

For the raid we dropped in on alexirmen who was playing Final Fantasy VII Remake over at twitch.tv/alexirmen

You know, more and more I think about grabbing a PlayStation 5, I'm certainly leaning digital for a few reasons, but the biggest is actually a problem I have when getting physical copies of PlayStation 4 games in that I am often sent the European version of the game and not the North American version. Yes the physical games are not region lock, HOWEVER,, codes for redeeming additional content that come with the physical copies are region locked. Of course this would mean, seriously rotating between using the all digital PS5 and the PS4 for games I have physical copies of, but that may be the way to go... if I can ever trust Sony not to screw people over when it comes to their digital libraries.

Didn't do any writing yesterday, mostly due to the change in my schedule for the day, as I don't like writing before work. In fact I prefer to write after I finish streaming, but when a stream starts at 9:30 PM, and by the time I write most of this blog, it's already 2 AM.

The plan for tonight's stream is to play Star Trek Resurgence, a game developed by former staff at TellTale Games, and I'm really looking for to playing it.

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

A rough day of reminders of how tough things are

Good morning everyone,

Yesterday was pretty rough for me, for one found out from my father that the paperwork was finalized that the I now officially own the house... and this was supposed to be something mom was here for. I mean a lot of the stuff on the exterior in the yard was projects she started over the last couple of years going back to 2020. Trying to figure out what she was doing is so confusing, and there is no one I can ask for their input.

Then there was the fact that evening hours I was supposed to work was cancelled due to sever issues, which derailed things even more for me.

Also, I had a job interview yesterday afternoon, and I know I blew it, because I nailed everything I could in regards of explaining my work history. putting over my current job and referencing my familiarity with things I learned at other jobs. Then the subject of how I travel came up, and I had to explain I don't drive... so that bricked my opportunity.

Did get in touch with one of the coolest people I met during my brief stint in the United States Army, so that's brought a bit of sunshine to my day.

So yeah it was just a day of feeling of awful, in fact the start of last night's stream saw me nearly in tears because of how emotional I was feeling, and I was completely  mellow during everything in Mass Effect.

Now in regards to what we did during the stream, we did all the remaining side-missions I had before finally going to Feros to advance the plot, and this resulted in several achievements being knocked out. O am confused as to while only the achievement associated with Ashley was unlocked and not the one for Alenko, since I took both on nearly every mission so far, and I suspect its kind of tied to the two loyalty missions for Garrus and Wrex, along with Pinnacle station (where I did end up using Ashley for in combination with Wrex to make it easier). Also the romance was locked in with Alenko, but I think we'll leave him on Virmire to see how different things go.

Next time I play Mass Effect, which is scheduled for next Thursday, we have three side missions to do and then we'll head to Noveria for the next major mission. Although I could delay that and go to Virmire since I hit the in-game level for that to be unlocked as a destination.

Mass Effect Achievements

  • AI Hacking Specialist: Use AI Hacking 75 times
  • Paragon: 75% of total Paragon points
  • Soldier Ally: Complete the majority of the game with the Alliance soldier squad member
  • Neural Shock Specialist: Use Neural Shock 75 times

For the raid we dropped in on maximilian_dood who was doing a Street Fighter legacy in anticipation of the launch of Street Fighter VI over on twitch.tv/maximilian_dood

Did get a lot of writing for the Mass Effect short story commission done, and I'm certainly changing the canon of a few things in regard to what I established with the Asari. It's mostly to make sure that the final chapter when we get to it will be manageable to write since it'll involve 10 characters

The plan for tonight's stream is to continue Kena: Bridge of Spirits on the PlayStation 4, we'll be looking to get as far as possible as it's clear we'll be getting lost in trying to figure out where to go. But I don't know if we'll be starting at 6:30 PM or 9:30 PM. I'll know for sure probably around 4 PM Eastern

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

Well So Much For Getting Back To Normal

Good morning everyone,

Well right before I was about to start work yesterday, I got a call saying the shift was cancelled, and now I'm back picking up spare hours on the evening shift, which means tonight's stream will start at 9:30 PM.

Anyway, last night's stream opened with Fall Guys, and shockingly, I was able to win a squad show being the last 'bean standing', I've certainly lucked out a fair amount, and we came close to winning a solo show as well.

We also checked out PowerWash Simulator, and I can see why that game is both addicting and frustrating, because when it gets down to like a few percent points left, you end up wondering where to look to find the last few things to spray. At least there is an indicator of when something is clean before moving on.

But the main event of course was Resident Evil 6, and with Iceman along for the ride, we covered the first chapter of Leon's campaign. Now it turns out Iceman's difficulty is locked in on normal, while my difficultly is at amateur. The pace of play being faster than Resident Evil 5 is a huge plus, along with being able to do melee attacks. Now I did say during the stream we're playing it for shits and giggles, and there were plenty of both, and I'm really looking forward to next Wednesday's stream for more of the same!

 PowerWash Simulator Achievements

  • Starting Out: Earn 5 Stars in Career Mode
  • Soap Connoisseur: Own all cleaning liquids at the same time
  • Fully Equipped: Own the Prime Vista 1500 and three of its attachments

Resident Evil 6 Achievements

  • The Longest Night: Complete the tutorial.
  • Gone to Hell: Complete Chapter 1 in Leon's campaign.
  • One Is Better Than None: Purchase one skill.

We had two raids during the streams, one from Taffe316 (twitch.tv/taffe316) and from Edheldisrien (twitch.tv/Edheldisrien), thank you so much for bringing your communities on over!

For our own  raid we dropped in on SweetLindir who was playing Smite over at twitch.tv/sweetlindir

The latest short story commission request on the books is for another Mass Effect tale, and I have some ideas of what to reference during it in regards to Mass Effect 3, since it's taking place after the Cerberus invasion of the Citadel and involves the Virmire Survivor.

Speaking of Mass Effect, that is the plan for tonight's stream, we'll hang out on Pinnacle Station to try and get closer to a couple of achievements before we move on to other areas in search for any side quests. We'll try to delay advancing the plot as much as possible.

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

Reached Mid-September in Persona 3 Portable

Good morning everyone,

Work yesterday was about as expected in terms of just being a bland day thanks to being limited by the script we have to stick too, but hey, it kept my mind focus. Unfortunately, I just got a call saying day shift for today was cancelled at the last minute...

Last night's stream of Persona 3 Portable saw about two hours spent in Tartarus as we made it floor 114, getting a lot of things done in regards to quests and trying to keep everyone's levels even proved to be tough considering how I try to always go for the advantage in fights, using the proper elemental attacks to go for Knock downs and All out Attacks as often as possible. That said, one thing is for certain that even with a guided playthrough I did screw up on keeping things timed correctly, so I'm behind on some social links and attributes.

In terms of the the story of Persona 3, Junpei actually getting character development due to his interactions with Chidori is actually adorable, because it's quite clear that he's the first person Chidori met that cares for her well being. The whole Strega story arc as an evil group of Persona users is interesting and I wonder if it's more fleshed out in the original version of Persona 3, or is just 'mid game' filler story that just acts as opposition because Persona 3's overall plot with the Full Moon battles not really having much justification for them other than they need to happen.

Next time we play Persona 3 Portable on Monday will see us reach the point we can fuse four and five personas at a time and basically march towards the next bit trip into Tartarus, which will probably be split over two nights, depending on the number of floors I need to reach.

Persona 3 Portable Achievements

  • Paulownia Mall Power Control: Defeat the Hermit.

For the raid we dropped in on PowerThumbz who was playing Outbreak over at twitch.tv/powerthumbz

With work back to normal, tonight's stream will open with Fall Guys for the first two hours, and we'll be starting Resident Evil 6 at 10 PM since Iceman won't be getting home until late, so we might toss in a little filler of something as well. It could be a triple header night!

Finished the Mass Effect short story commission, it's now up on the SubscribeStar page for those who know what that link is. I'll put in some work on the other queued commission requests that is WWE focused... until I get another one that's a lot more interesting.

Heard that Star Trek Resurrgence is great as a Star Trek story... but not quite a good game, guess we'll see for ourselves on Saturday.

So on that note we'll see you later tonight over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

August of Persona 3 Portable

Good morning everyone,

Work is back to normal starting today, but it's the assignment that I was doing during the early evening last week... and I'll have to do it for an extra hour... so ugh... it's going to be a long day, But the important thing is things will feel normal today.

Last night's stream of Persona 3 Portable opened up with us doing some grinding to try and get Junpei and Akihiko close to level 30, but after dealing with the August full moon, we experienced the summer break portion of the story, which saw Mitsuru signing everyone up for summer classes which basically ate up a week of in-game time, sure we got to learn about the Major Arcana, but the real highlight was completing a few social links, because it appears I've fallen way behind on the pace for maxing out the academic portion of the main character.

Now we made sure to cover everything up to two nights before the September full moon, which means tonight's stream will open with a trip into Tartarus... as well as figuring out how I'm going to balance the party because Shiiniro, Koromaru and Ken have all joined the team, so trying to figure out the best way to use them in relation to the rest of the team will be a challenge.

Also way I figure, it'll probably take about eight more streams to finish up Persona 3 Portable, this is factoring in how the gaps between major floors in Tartarus seem to be getting wider, while also trying to anticipate any requests Elizabeth might have.

Persona 3 Portable Achievements

  • Bunker Debunked: Defeat the Chariot and Justice.
  • Fusion Expert: Perform 50 Persona fusions.

Big thanks to Kalenal for the raid following their stream of Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild over on twitch.tv/kalenal

For the raid we dropped in on zdleague who was also playing Persona 3 Portable over at twitch.tv/zdleague

Got some writing done yesterday, I intended to finish the Mass Effect short story, but then I felt the need to lay down and lost a few hours due to a nap. By the time I woke back up that nap it was nearly too late to have dinner.

Been looking at a lot of Jerry Springer interviews lately... and when you really think about it, he really was the greatest day time talk show host of all time, since he applied the same reasoning the like of Oprah did about giving celebrities a place to talk about their struggles, but for the every day person instead.

I looked over the achievement list for Star Trek Resurgence and near as I can tell, it will require three play throughs to get all the achievements that are tied to various choices. We'll start our first play through on Saturday.

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

A Big Night As Wrecking Ball

Good morning everyone,

Yesterday was kind of a weird day, as I ended up laying down quite a bit, still I got some writing done, and found out that the client who is commissioning the Mass Effect series of short stories would like me to do Resident Evil stories down the line.

Last night's stream of Overwatch 2 was a lot of fun, we were joined by PandaSweet for the entire stream which was fun. Between the two of us we had 9 plays of the game, with mine being as Reinhardt (3), D.va (1), Orissa (1) and Wrecking Ball (1). Other characters I used were Junker Queen, Sombra, Tracer, Roadhog and a few others.

Now the best moments of the night involved Wrecking Ball in that we got both of his character achievements. The first involved playing on Defense on the Eichenwald map, in a match Panda and I were resigned to practice, so somehow absorbing 1250 damage without dying was shocking considering I was diving in and backing out. The other achievement involving rolling through three enemies at once... and that was done via a moment where I knocked three enemies off a ledge.

With both of these achievements, I know have 65 of Overwatch's 164 achievements, which is pretty good with all things considered/

Overwatch 2 Achievements

  • Adaptation: Absorb 1250 damage with Wrecking Ball's Adaptive Shield without dying in Quick or Competitive Play.
  • Strike: Roll through 4 enemies within 2 seconds as Wrecking Ball in Quick or Competitive Play.

For the raid we dropped in on x9abenonymous9x who was playing God of War over at twitch.tv/x9abenonymous9x

The plan for tonight's stream is resuming Persona 3 Portable, as we're going to be in good position to try and knocking more of Elizabeth's requests and put in some leveling for Junpei and Akihiko to keep them caught up to Mitsuru, Yukari and Aigis. How much grinding we'll do depends on much time I want to spend trying to get gold shadows to appear.

Had one solid lead for a possible job interview via Zoom later this week, which if things go right, could see me back in the travel industry. We'll see how that goes on Thursday.

I have a full series of Star Trek Online on Xbox One videos schedule to premier on Mondays at 9 AM on my YouTube channel, which means I can use the Wednesday slot of the week for other types of content creation while being on camera.

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

We Had A Variety Night

Good morning everyone,

Yesterday I did plan to wake up early, but... ended up waking up a lot later than intended, but still got a few things done.

We had a fun stream, as it was a variety night, opening with Fall Guys and running into instances of dudes self sabotaging the team in so many ways, including diving off the platform in Block Party. No wins, but we did make it the final round once.

We switched of Ghostbusters Spirits Unleashed after I learned they added some cosmetics from Extreme Ghostbusters, so yeah that caught my attention. We had a couple of victories but mostly got chased out by the ghosts. Didn't really get a good look at the new map but it's nice to see there are stuff still being added.

We played some Smite for the first time in a long time, winning three out of the four matches played (2 in Arena, 1 in Assault), with those victories being as Athena, Terra and Nike respectively. I actually forgot how long Assault matches can feel because of the random nature of who everyone has to use, Still I'll take the wins.

Now all of those games were played on the Xbox Series and Xbox One consoles, because lastly we hooked up the PS3 in probably a year I think, and we played the X-Men arcade game, USA Rom version on Hard, using Dazzler. It was a solid run, and a good test of how it looks and plays on stream after all the hassle I went through to improve the picture quality.

Now I did consider doing an extra night of Persona 3 Portable or Mass Effect, but I figure bouncing from game to game and console to console made for a more unique experience.

For the raid we dropped in on Kalenal who was playing Final Fantasy XIV over at twitch.tv/kalenal!

Getting back to Mass Effect, did some writing on the short story commission yesterday afternoon, and I figure it's now about 40% done, just need to do the action sequence.

The plan for tonight's stream, well it's Overwatch, even though we are all disappointed in being lied too by the developers of it regarding the PVE content, since they already had a live game to service in place. I will not be surprised if someone files a class action lawsuit against Activision Blizzard over this

Good thing I ended the stream when it did, because a few minutes afterward, my internet went down!

I continue to mess around more with the Xbox version of Star Trek Online and discovered there is a very noticeable lag when doing anything in the tailor, like tweaking uniforms and so forth. In fact in an upcoming video scheduled for July on my YouTube channel, it takes about 20 minutes just to switch the uniforms of my starting crew from the TOS era to the 2409 uniforms.

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

FIrs Impression of Kena: Bridge of Spirits

Good afternoon everyone,

Work yesterday was positive, mostly for the fact that we can go back to our normal schedules, so on Monday we're back to the 6:30 PM Eastern start time!

Last night's stream of Kena: Bridge of Spirits, and I can safely say it is a gorgeous game with a great musical score. The combat can be a little iffy, but there are some game play styles similar to Alice: Madness Returns. The biggest thing that gets me is the puzzles because the game is so pretty that I end up getting turned around and lost repeatedly.

Now I am taking the super casual approach to playing it, and I can safely say it will not be a game that I can finish in two streams, even though a guide listing indicates I'm nearly half way through. but the trade off is that it will provide a nice alternative in the weekly line up as being something modern that visually stands out differently from the other big games I'm playing considering the open world nature of how I play Mass Effect.

Kena: Bridge of Spirits (PS4) Trophies

  • Found a Friend: Hero Rot joined your team.
  • Haikyo: Discovered the Village.
  • Say Cheese: Captured a picture in Photo Mode
  • Good as New: Restored a Flower Shrine.
  • Into the Woods: Discovered the Forest.
  • Hunter in the Forest: Learned the Bow Ability.
  • Rot Commander: Use 5 Rot Actions in a single combat.
  • Taro's Fear: Found Taro's Knife Relic.
  • Taro's Love: Found Taro's Food Offering Relic.

We had two raids last night, one from oldish22 (twitch.tv/oldish22) and from b00mpowsurprize (twitch.tv/b00mpowsurprize

For the raid we dropped everyone off over on alexirmen who was also playing Kena Bridge of Spirits over at twitch.tv/alexirmen

Not sure what's on the agenda for tonight, we might go with a variety night, but we'll see what we end up doing.

As something to mess around with off-stream with the potential of streaming it, messed around with the Xbox version of BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma EXTEND, which is the definitive edition of the 3rd game in the series. So not sure if we'll stream its story mode without the context of the first two games on the final game.

BlazBlue: Chrono Phantasma EXTEND Achievements

  • Lesson Is More: [Tutorial] Finished the stylish and beginner lessons in Tutorial Mode.
  • Impersonal Trainer: [Training] Dealt a total of 100,000 Damage.
  • Good Grief: As Makoto, land an attack with maximum Impact Gauge.
  • Just a Taste: [Arcade] Completed Arcade Mode.

Tried to put a dent into grinding for the last two engineer achievements in Mass Effect by doing 'laps' at Pinnacle station. Not sure how much I was able to accomplish.

Did make progress in the Mass Effect short story commission, it'll probably be finished by Monday for my Subscribstar followers.

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

A BSOD Style Damper

Good morning everyone,

Work yesterday was okay, more of the same of trying to work with the very wordy script we have to use, but hey, as I said the other day, we just have to try to make it work, if we managed to get anything out of it, great, if not... we tried.

Last night's stream of Mass Effect was very much focused on side quests and level grinding, as we bopped around the Milky Way finding various missions from Admiral Hackett, plus Garrus and Wrex's loyalty missions as well as quests that originated on the Citadel. We did hit Pinnacle station to try and start grinding on the final achievements associated with the engineer (AI Hacking and Neural Shock).

Now next time we play Mass Effect, we'll probably focus on the Pinnacle station quests, then do Bringing Down The Sky, the big DLC mission before focusing on the main story of the game.

Of course the end of last night's stream was weird, as a sudden BSOD occurred indicated a bug of some kind, but every scan and diagnostic tool I can think of indicates nothing was wrong. Last thing I need is yet another computer going down this year.

Mass Effect Achievements

  • Damping Specialist: Use Damping Field 75 times

We didn't do any raids following last night's stream because of the

The plan for tonight's stream is to start up Kena: Bridge of Spirits on the PlayStation 4, from what I understand this game is very straight forward, with trophies attached to combat and collectables. So we'll take a casual approach to this game.

Got some writing done on the Mass Effect short story commission, getting a good portion of the intro done. Since it focuses on Miranda's 2nd meeting with Shepard on Citadel, it's already in the perfect location for various dialog.

Anyone ever noticed that in the Super Mario Bros Super Show episode with the Quirks, the little aliens play the Legend of Zelda theme? I noticed that last night after the stream.

With that said, we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

Resident Evil 5's DLC was a lot of fun

 Good morning everyone,

Work yesterday was fairly good, despite some issues with Microsoft Edge randomly remembering my login from last year that I've changed causing some headaches. Then I find out there is possibility of normal day work coming back which means a change in my streaming schedule again! Ugh! At least it'll be back to normal, which means Fall Guys would be back.

Last night's stream of Resident Evil 5 features both the Lost in Nightmares and Desperate Escape DLC, and we did both with Iceman, which was a lot of fun.

Lost in Nightmares is set before the events of RE5 on Chris and Jill's mission that saw her get captured by Wesker, basically a throwback to the gameplay style of the earliest Resident Evil games with puzzles that need to be solved and limited ammos. We did use a guide, and had one crushing death. The fight against Wesker was of course a pain in the ass as it relates to the QTEs being noticeable, but we cleared it.

Desperate Escape is a companion chapter to the event of Chapter 5 of RE5's main story, where you play as Jill and Josh as they escape from the facility after Chris and Sheeva rescue Jill. It's a mad dash, super action sequence with lots of bad guys and ammo. As a side story and showing how Jill and Josh got to the helicopter that appears at the end of the game, it was quite enjoyable.

Now with this, we're moving on Resident Evil 5, but we'll revisited down the road for shits and giggles, to try and get other achievements, but starting next week, Resident Evil 6 takes center stage.

Resident Evil 5 Achievements

  • A Friend in Need: Save partner 10 times when HELP is displayed.
  • Must've Got Lost: Complete "Lost in Nightmares" on any difficulty setting.
  • Egg on Your Face: Defeat a Majini with a rotten egg.
  • Way of the Warrior: Defeat 150 enemies singlehandedly in one playthrough of "Desperate Escape."
  • The Great Escape: Complete "Desperate Escape" with an S rank.
  • Getaway: Complete "Desperate Escape" on any difficulty setting.

For the raid we dropped in on pradoxgamerau while they are playing Pokemon Brilliant Diamong/Shining Pearl over at twitch.tv/pradoxgamerau

The plan for tonight's stream is to play Mass Effect, we shall continue our side quest hunt and grind for using  the engineer powers!

Also, as noted last night, The Dark Pictures Anthology will be something I'll be looking to get, since Iceman and I learned those are online co-op, which means more shenanigans we can have on Wednesdays! Now if anyone wants to gift it to me on the Xbox side... (I'm kidding!)

Did some writing on the WWE commission story and I was told by the client to take my time with it, so I'll shift my attention to the Mass Effect story commission.

Later Start Time, Same Old Fred

Good morning everyone,

So yesterday we had work for the first time in few weeks, but it was at a later time which pushed the start of the streams back to 9:30 PM, which will be the norm for the foreseeable future. But the good news is the assignment we got just involves us 'trying' to be productive, because of how impossibly tight the requirements are for anyone to even qualify for the research that is being conducted.

Last night's stream of Persona 3 Portable was pretty shocking in regards to how much we actually got done. We saw the summer trip to Mitsuru's family summer home, and I can see how much much was gutted for Persona 3 conversion to be on the PlayStation Portable because I can imagine how over the top some things were from beyond a visual novel perspective, including Aigis's big reveal, which is surprisingly understated. Now what helped things progress was how an entire week in-game was dedicated to 'training' for track event

This meant we were able to get to another extended trip through Tartarus, getting up to Floor 89, while leveling up to 31, which puts us slightly ahead of the pace of the game I believe in terms of dealing with enemies. Now we had Mitsuru, Aigis and Yukari in the squad, mostly based on a guide's recommendation, which really helped in regard to the enemies encounter being vulnerable to their abilities and attacks.

Next time we play, we're going to open in Tartarus to try and get Junpei and Akihiko caught up, as they are level 23 and 26, making them kind of weak going forward. Plus there are a couple of quests for Elizabeth we might try and go for.

Persona 3 Portable Achievements

  • True Supporter: Max out a Social Link.
  • Head of the Class: Rank #1 in your class on an exam.

For the raid we went over to maximilian_dood who was doing a Street Fighter Legacy over at twitch.tv/maximilian_dood

The plan for tonight's stream is Resident Evil 5 with Iceman, and we'll see about Fall Guys in the second half, since my schedule now favors finishing streams towards 1:30 to 2 AM in the morning.

The producers at Blizzard who over seen Overwatch basically said that making PVE content is too hard for them, and that they are going to half-ass PVE story content going forward. Which really is disheartening since the PVE content is what everyone was excited about when Overwatch 2 was announced.

Recorded the final DVD inventory video for my YouTube channel, and recorded three Star Trek Online videos as well. Now what will end up as the Wednesday series of exclusive content is up in the air, but the STO videos will be on Monday mornings, with each mission being done one at a time.

Didn't get any writing done yesterday, but we'll see about doing some today, because I did get busy with those different projects.

Did get back in touch with Kristi this morning, which was a great way to start the day!

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

Big Progress In Persona 3 Portable, Schedule Change Due To Work

Good morning everyone,

We got news, found out there is alternate work hours I can get, it means the weeknight streams will not start until after 9:30 PM, which will begin tonight. It would've happened last night, but I didn't see the text messages until after 6 PM. Still, I need the work obviously for my own financial security, but also for my mental health in terms of feeling normal.

Last night's stream of Persona 3 Portable saw us spent several hours in Tartarus, getting up to floor 65, our level is up to 27, and I realize that balancing the other party members is going to be tough since it appears there is no shared XP for those not with you during an expedition. We did of course take of the next big full moon boss, and the entire Love Hotel was a bit hilarious, though Yukari didn't need to slap us.

I did see a lot of the plot reveal tying Persona 3 to the first game (I think), as well as Mitsuru's guilt about not being forthcoming with the details, as well as the set up for next story arc involving the summer break and the introduction of Ken. We left off on July 18th, so the goal for our next stream is to get to August 4th in order to ensure we have another big Tartarus night next Monday.

But as I said tonight's stream and for the foreseeable future, weeknight streams will start after 9:30 PM Eastern.

Persona 3 Portable Achievements

  • S.E.E.S. the Day: Rescue a missing person.
  • Hotel Investigation Squad: Defeat the Hierophant and Lovers.

For the raid we dropped in on misscammi316 who was playing The Sims 4 over at twitch.tv/misscammi316

I thought I would have a workout involving getting an HDMI signal from the PlayStation 3 to my capture card with a splitter, but it doesn't work. Last thing I can think of is maybe trying a S-Video set up, would mean trying to find a PlayStation 3 S-Video cable along with a convert to HDMI, otherwise, anything from the PS3 will be at a 480p. Might also give using component cables another try as well.

Got a new commission request for another Mass Effect story, to  go with the one remaining commission request from last week for a WWE story. I'll work a bit on the WWE one before work today, then make the Mass Effect one the priority. Helps that I know both clients habits when it comes to who actually pays me promptly and who makes make me waits for weeks.

Didn't dive into the Sakura box on stream last night, but considering the later start tonight, we might open with a snack.

I do have to remember to take the trash out before 4:30 PM this afternoon... not doing that after dark!

So on that note we'll see you around 9:30 PM Eastern over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

It's A Monday

Good morning everyone,

Yesterday was the first mother day I've experienced without my mom, but it was positive as various family members visited for a full afternoon. I really do miss my mom a whole lot, and I'm doing my best to make her proud, but things aren't fully going in the direction I'm hoping it would.

From the Sakura Box my cousin Frances sent me, we tried the Mochi Taro Crackers, which was a pack of 'okaki' (rice crackers) flavored lightly slated crunch snacks and a peanut... as in there was one peanut in the little pack. Tasted like a fried crunchy noodle mixed with a salt cracker.

Last night's stream of Overwatch was pretty fun, big thanks to PandaSweet being apart of the fun. We had a fair amount of wins and losses. We certainly ran into some questionable random teammates who either didn't push onto the objective or even challenge the opposing team. Picked up one Play of the Game as Bastion, Other characters used were Tracer, D.va, Reinhard, Moira, and a few others.

We did also did a few instances of the Starwatch event, winning all three runs, two on defense and once on offense. I kind of fell it's easier on the console side in a 4 v 4 encounter, vs the PC side, which has the higher intensity between players on all side.

For the raid we dropped in on TracyDoll as they were playing Resident Evil 4 over on twitch.tv/tracydoll

Of course with it being Monday, we're back to our big game with Persona 3 Portable, and we're going into Tarturus, and it'll be a grind for sure, as we'll be trying to reach the next blocked floor. If things work out right we should possibly be in

The 76ers imploding yesterday was shocking, as they were down by 3 at half-time and then just didn't show up to play in the second half, losing in embarrassing fashion. I won't be surprised if James Hardan signs with Houston in the off-season.

Job search continues to flounder as I look for something with consistency, Hopefully a fresh weeks means interesting prospects and leads.

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

Surprise Night Of Kirby Star Allies and A Sakura Box

Good morning everyone

First Happy Mother's day... and yes I miss my mom more and more every day, as I feel a lot of my own headspace struggles are due to trying to make her proud, and things are not flowing the way I would like in that regard. Am expecting some family to be visiting this afternoon, which would mean nothing is getting done today in regards to any writing.

Huge thank you to my cousin Frances who sent me a Sakura Box, filled with snacks and treats from Japan! I figure we'll try out one item per day from it to see what we like and what we don't like. In fact we tried out one of them on stream, the Shimi Choco Corn Stick, which was really quite good. It tasted like a wafer cookie.

Last night's stream also featured a surprise one night, start to finish marathon play through of Kirby Star Allies. Now up to four players can take part, but obviously I was flying solo, and to my surprise, the game's A.I. was actually quite good, in fact several times, it was the CPU controlled teammates that carried me through some dicey situations. In fact we only died a few times and most of that was due to my own mistiming.

Now on a single, blind play through, we completed 69% (nice) of the game, which is pretty awesome, We did every extra level we unlocked, we were actively trying to find the switches for the bonus levels and the hidden puzzle pieces except when it was clear I didn't have the right combinations of powers to solve a puzzle.

When I can rope my cousin or brother into being apart of a stream, safe to say Kirby Star Allies might be a contender of things to play!

For the raid we dropped in on maximilian_dood who was trying to learn how to do some exploits in Street Fighter II involving Guile over at twitch.tv/maximilian_dood

Now it is Sunday night, which means Overwatch is on deck, we might mess around with the Empire-Watchers 4 v 4 a couple of times as well.

Did get my laundry and dishes done yesterday, of course, not wanting to dirty any dishes after washing them, ordered a cheese-steak and fries. Been a long time since I had one.

Wrapped Up Spider Man The City That Never Sleeps

 Good morning everyone,

Yesterday was another day where I couldn't quite get out of my own headspace, but I did made a lot of calls to wish some family a Happy Mother's Day weekend. My Aunt Hillary is coming down on Sunday for a visit.

Last night's stream of Marvel's Spider-Man saw us wrap up the City That Never Sleeps story which certainly opens the door for sequels and follow ups, which I know they did as it relates to the Miles Morales spin-off game, which has Peter joining MJ in Silver Sable's home country. There's also all the set up with Yuri becoming a blood thirsty vigilante which I hope would be featured in the next Spider-Man game.

That said, the chase for Screwball side-mission can fuck right off, because of all the twist and turns in trying to keep up with her while doing all the surprised challenges she laid down. Still we did get every single trophy in the 3rd DLC pack, which means that some time down the road (way way down the road), we'll do a New Game Plus run of Spider-Man on the hardest difficulty setting.

Marvel's Spider-Man Trophies

  • Frenemies: Complete the "Old Friends" mission
  • Screwballed: Get Spectacular or better in all Screwball Challenges
  • Unplugged: Complete the Screwball chase
  • The Wages of War: Complete the "Aiding a Human" mission
  • Unacceptable: Complete the "Scales of Justice" mission
  • Terminated: Complete the "One Plus One Equals Win" mission
  • The City Sleeps: 100% Complete CTNS: Silver Lining

For the raid we dropped in on zdleague as they were playing Persona 3 Portable over at twitch.tv/zdleague

The plan for tonight is uncertain because I don't know if Striker will be joining us for Elder Scrolls Online, if not we'll probably mess around with something small and light.

Oh, the next PS4 game will be Kena: Bridge of Spirits, a game recommended by Striker earlier this year, so we'll start that on Friday of this week.

With the Mass Effect short story finish, my next focus will be on... the WWE short story commission that came in at the same time last week. Sure I already started work on it, but I really hate writing WWE and wrestling related stories in general, since I'm stereotyped in that regard.

Other plans for today include laundry and dishes... you know mundane stuff.

So on that note we'll see you tonight over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

The grind towards Mass Effect Achievements

Good morning everyone,

Yesterday ended up being a day where I felt drained mentality just thinking about stuff  and ended up sleeping during the majority of it. Did apply for various jobs, and got one call back... from a staffing agency, for something I didn't apply for.

Anyway, last night's stream of Mass Effect did see a big focus on the side quests, leveling and grinding towards certain achievement goals related to being a straight engineer. We managed to get two knocked out tonight, leaving three to get, with the hardest one being the one for Neural Shock, since it has such as long cool. I am tempted to tackle Pinnacle Station to grind it out, since there is also an achievement related to using medi-gel.

In terms of story specific stuff done, the mission regarding the rouge VI on the moon, plus the series of Geth encounters in the Amrstrong cluster were dealt with, we gave Tali the Geth data. Also not sure if we're romancing Kaiden or Liara on this play through because both are simply awful. And while this is a paragon run, taking shots at Williams is always appropriate.

Mass Effect Achievements

  • Overload Specialist: Use Shield Overload 75 times
  • Sabotage Specialist: Use Sabotage 75 times

For the raid we dropped in on sweetlindir during their table top / board game stream over at twitch.tv/sweetlindir

The plan for tonight's stream is to play Marvel's Spider-Man and to finish the City That Never Sleeps DLC. Now if I can get all the trophies for it, that means down the line, I would be tempted to do a New Game Plus run of the base game on the hardest difficulty. But I heard the Screwball Challenges in the 3rd chapter of the DLC are a major pain in the ass. So we'll see.

Did picked up two achievements in NHL 21, and seeing as how NHL 23 has the same achievement list, it just shows how fucking lazy EA is with the sports game year after year, if the goals cannot be changed. Yeah you're really not going to see me play any sports game on stream unless the achievement list is worth doing

NHL 21 Achievements

  • Someone get that kid the puck!: Play and score your 1st NHL goal in a regular season game in Be a Pro.
  • Auctioneer: Buy or Sell an item in the auction house in Hockey Ultimate Team.

Did some writing on the Mass Effect short story commission, and with luck it'll be finished today, unless I have another mental block and feel like doing nothing at all.

Also watched the back half of the Night Court revival series, and seeing Roz back and encountering Dan with him being a judge was just perfect. Wonder if that means there will be some more reoccurring characters from the original series showing up... at least from those who are still alive.

Twitch changed down clips are downloaded, meaning the usual best of videos I do every week can no longer be done. Damn it.

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

More Wins In Fall Guys

Good morning everyone,

Finally took care of the long tall grass, and the mower I got was not as ideal as I thought, and it's E-snap on pieces broke off. Still used the lawn trimmer and it got things done. That took up a good chunk of the afternoon.

Last night's stream opened with Fall Guys, and the new shorter Fame Pass is a fine gimmick and a change of pace consider how long the last season pass was left hanging around. The new skins are rather cute being themed around Hello Kitty. We picked up two surprise wins in Squads, and came close to winning in both Solo and Duo shows. The new build feature certainly presented new challenges from the demented mind of the players.

We also played the Stanley Parable Deluxe Edition last night, and the comical nature of it certainly, as going off the beaten path quickly reminded me and introduced viewers to all the nuttiness that can occur. We got half of the achievements I believe, of course there are the original infamous ones that involves playing the game for the entirety of a day and the other for not playing the game for 10 years. The new content certainly up to the par, and the fact that you can get the game to launch as The Stanley Parable 2 is a cute twist.

Plus any game that calls me a heartless bastard is awesome.

The Stanley Parable: Ultra Deluxe Achievements

  • You Can't Jump: No seriously, we disabled it.
  • Get Your First Achievement: Awarded for getting any of the other achievements as your first.
  • Beat The Game: Complete The Stanley Parable.
  • 8888888888888888: 888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888888
  • Click on door 430 five times: Click on door 430 five times.
  • Welcome Back!: Quit the game and then start it again.
  • Settings World Champion Set all settings sliders in the menu to all the available numbers.

For the raid we dropped in on x9abenonymous9x who was playing Resident Evil 2 Remake over at twitch.tv/x9abenonymous9x

Now the plan for tonight's stream is more Mass Effect, with a focus on finding side missions and avoiding the big story stuff. The reason for this is because I am grinding towards various achievements.

Overwatch's new event is clearly inspired by Star Wars with it being a 4 v 4 Empire vs Rebels theme encounter. I personally think it would've been better as PvE content. In fact, weren't we promised PvE content?!

After the stream I did do some work on the Mass Effect story commission, as I do want to finish it before the weekend.

Had some trouble sleeping, so did a video giving some thoughts on My Little Pony: A Maretime Bay Adventure's length in regards to when it was relased. It will be on my YouTube channel this afternoon

So on that note we'll see you later tonight over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

Social Link Grinding Is A Thing

Good morning everyone,

Finally got some feedback about work, and apparently things really went FUBAR in ways that no one was anticipating, so we're just holding steady... and yeah, finally hearing something made me feel a little better, but it does affect me mentally with a lot of things that have gone wrong this year. Hell I did do some writing yesterday, but then I just slept just to avoid thinking.

Which leads to the job search and seeing jobs that I applied months ago for being posted on job boards again. Like what the fuck?! I know I talked about this yesterday, but it really makes me upset. I know crying doesn't do anything, but it's frustrating as all hell. Then there is the blatant hiding of requirements of needing a car to even consider being hired...

However, last night's stream of Persona 3 Portable was very positive, as we rescued Fuuka and covered a ton of the slice of life content that leads up into the evening of July 5, which will be our next extended trip into Tartarus. We got a number of social links up to Rank 5, with at least one at Rank 8, that being Chihiro who seems to be the obvious best girl of the Persona 3 cast of characters.

One thing I do appreciate was the whole Full Moon cycle, which does allow for getting so many things done in a short amount of time, but the whore sick/tired gimmick is certainly annoying to manage, but I got the Courage attributed maxed out so I can pretty much ignore it going forward.

Persona 3 Portable Achievements

  • That Special Someone: Enter a special relationship with someone.
  • A New Persona-User: Defeat the Emperor and Empress.
  • Granter of Your Desires: Buy 5 things from Tanaka's Amazing Commodities.

For the raid we dropped in on PowerThumbz during their stream of Outbreak over on twitch.tv/powerthumbz

The plan for tonight's stream will included Fall Guys, however, Iceman won't be able to join us this week for Resident Evil 5, so we'll either dedicate the whole night to Fall Guys are include something else on the agenda, and I'm leaning towards The Stanley Parable

So Donald Truml's verdict regarding of of his many crimes is finally what is getting some of the psychos who voted for him to question his validity as a candidate? Fuck these people...

To be honest not much is really on my mind at the time I'm writing this to pad this out.

So we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden

Well We Went Longer Than Intended

Good morning everyone,

Well I got a new mower yesterday because dealing with a lot of the lawn trimmer is going to be a hassle on two fronts in terms of dealing with the extension cord. Of course the mower I got had to be assembled, and that took way longer than it should have because of the vague instructions.

Last night's stream of Persona 3 Portable saw us cover a lot of ground getting quite a few Social Links up to 3-5, but it's clear I messed up the pacing as it relates to the Social Links for Hermit and Chariot, On the other hand we certainly had a lot of surreal moments regarding the names of various items.

Now we did spend a lot of time in Tartarus last night, in fact way more than I was expecting to as the stream ended nearly 1 AM, because I was trying to get various side quests done. You see the Velvet Room Attendant (Elizabeth in this case) has a series of requests, and some involve a lot of good luck in hoping things pop up in order to get various rewards, including some of the best gear in the game. I'm debating on if I should do them are not, because it was hoping for gold enemies to spawn that me doing laps last night.

Now you see, since I'm trying to make sure we have a complete play through, it means sticking to a guide and grinding out as much as I can when we're popping into Tartarus. And the item I was looking for was the Steel Meda. I might just forego that and try to do as many of the other side quests as they appear.

Anyway, tonight's stream will see us make our way to the next big boss fight and the addition of Fuuka to the party!

Persona 3 Portable Achievements

  • Persona Memory Bank: Summon a Persona from the Compendium.
  • Grasping at Greed: Defeat a Golden Hand.
  • Skilled Commander: Perform 50 All-Out Attacks.

For the raid we dropped in on zdleague who was also playing Persona 3 Portable over at twitch.tv/zdleague

Messed around a bit with NHL 21, and boy did EA go all in on achievements to ensure very few people who complete it. None of the achievements are even worth doing under normal circumstances, so I'll casually knock them out when I have free time.

NHL 21 Achievements

  • Sure thing Skip: Make a coach or media objective in Be a Pro.

The job hunt is rather frustrating when I see companies (Cooper Health, Comcast) advertising the same positions after I applied for them wen I saw them posted months ago. Like what the fuck?!

Did some light writing on the Mass Effect commission story yesterday, I shall try to finish that before the weekend so that I can focus on the WWE commission story.

So on that note we'll see you later over on twitch.tv/fredcasden
